I have been going to Star Barber for my haircuts for over 20 years. The shop is clean and the people inviting. The trims are always sharp and top notch. Even when I lived in 800 miles away, if I knew I was coming to Vermont for a visit, I would wait a few extra weeks till I arrived in town to get my haircut at Star. Today besides myself, I bring both my kids in for cuts as well. You cant fake quality and these guys are the best of the best. If you want a quality professional haircut, trim or shave, give them a try! (Youll be hooked)

I would highly recommend the barber shop to anyone. I am currently in school with Josh (4th Gen) he is always very positive and always gets the job done in a timely manner and there is never a hair out of place. While vacationing in Killington, we took a ride to Rutland, Vermont for lunch. Decided to try a local barbershop for a hot shave and boy did we find the right spot. 4th Generation family owned business and got one of the best shaves by Josh. I would highly recommend locals and tourists to give this spot a try. I will be back for sure when we are in town.

Great place to get a good cut at a great price. The shop is old school and well kept. The barbers take good care of you and are very friendly. Definitely going to be my go to barber now that Im going to school in the area.

As well as very great prices. The shop has been around for 85 years in Rutland. Stop down and go back in time with a old school setting in a new school environment. You have the 3rd generation barber and now have the 4th generation barber both doing what runs in the family and keeping their own tradition going strong, great guys, great cuts, and great pricing.

Easily the best cut in town. Im there at least once a month for a cut/trim and its always done the way I ask. Even better, the family atmosphere and who can complain about a nice neck shave at the end!!
