Authentic old time barber shop in the heart of downtown Rutland. All original fixtures and decor dripping with local character and history. Pips is female owned, operated and staffed. Prices are good. Service is excellent. Appointments required due to pandemic precautions, which they follow to the letter. Safe, cozy, quick and friendly.

This barbershop transcends time. If I want to step back to my childhood, this is where I go to get a haircut. Everyone is great, conversation is great, my haircut is great!! What else could you ask for in a barbershop!!

Great atmosphere. Ladies are wonderful. Quick and give you the greatest service. Not many feel comfortable cutting ethnic hair but it wasnt a problem. Dove right in and I am very satisfied! Best haircut since Ive been in VT!Recommend to everyone I know! Inexpensive !!!

I loved the place however, there was one girl who was just rude and cut my sons hair wrong. mabey she had her period but, theres no excuse for rolling eyes and ignoring the customer. The other older lady was amazing so nice and respectful mabey she can help teach that other girl how to respect.
