Best haircuts my teens have ever gotten. Steve listened closely and asked questions to be sure he was doing what they wanted. They were super happy. Finally got the cuts theyve been trying to get from stylists for years. Our new barber forever now. I had fun interacting with Steve, great personality, and enjoyed looking at all of the nostalgia on the walls. Excellent prices as well.

Ive been coming to get my haircut from Steve sense middle school and I will certainly continue to come in for as long as Henrys is open. He always does an amazing detail oriented job in a reasonable amount of time and I e never had a bad haircut here. Keep up the amazing work!

Henry is amazing he cuts my sons and my husbands hair hes been doing it for them for years....He always takes his time and gets it perfect very friendly and sociable...When it comes to kids works with them and make sure that their experience is fun so they are not scared...Any meals should 100% go there whether its a child getting their first haircut or a grandpa.he is amazing...

Im posting a 5 star review to balance out my 4 star yelp review of Henrys Barber Shop due to wait time. Barber Steve is the son of the original owner Henry Tyl. He is a one man operation; which means you may have to wait. If you tend to be in a hurry...you can deduct one star. However, if you enjoy humorous banter, and customer conversation this is your place. Great haircuts at very reasonable prices!

Henry’s Barbershop is a class act through and through. Steve got me through all my hairstyles as a kid (the mushroom, the buzz and the flipped front) and into high school and college (the short sides, the mop, the new age mullet, and eventually the shaggy flow). While that was quite some time ago I know I could step in to his shop tomorrow and expect the same great service, new tacky dad jokes (of which I now have my own to trade), and welcoming hospitality that this family owned shop has provided for generations.

Ive went to Henrys for every haircut from like 4 years old till probably 17. always a nice friendly enviroment,great cuts for a good price and its a nice little shop that brings up a nostalgic feeling no matter the age. and when it comes to kids cuts this is a place to trust for sure

I have known Steve for many years and he is a great and loyal friend. He was my regular barber for many years until I moved away from Rutland. I still try to get a haircut from Steve if I am visiting the Rutland area. Best haircut Ive had in 30 years

I go to Henry’s barbershop every other week and let me tell you it is hands-down the best barbershop in Rutland Vermont probably the state of Vermont. Steve is an amazing guy and takes his time and make sure your haircut is perfect every single time. So if you’re looking for a haircut and you’re in Rutland Vermont don’t waste your time and just go to Henry’s you will not be disappointed.If there was a way to give 30 stars instead of just five I would.
