I found Janelle by chance when I was looking up local places to get a haircut as I was new to the area. I thought that her shop looked unique and I saw some good pictures of her work so I decided to check it out. To say that I was satisfied with her work would be an understatement. She exceeded all my expectations and I knew my search for a great barber was over. My hair style had been the same for quite some time and I really didn’t have any plans to change it but I went with her recommendation on style and now that is my new preference. She is a master of her trade, which is rare to find these days. I think what makes her great is the passion she has for her work. To put it plainly it’s like watching an artist paint a masterpiece each time. She is also very personable and remembers pertinent details about her clients. She genuinely cares about you as a person and you are not just another customer to her, which again is rare to find. Last but not least she offers a complimentary beer or other drink each time which is nice, and always has some great music playing. Personally I opt in for her unlimited haircut option. Janelle was very attentive when I was explaining how I wanted my hair to be cut. Furthermore she is very professional and she keeps her environment very clean unlike most barbers that do not keep a clean area. If you are looking for a mediocre haircut then go to another barber as she gives a superior haircut and shampoo. Once again Shipwrecked barbershop is by far the best overall experience I’ve had when it comes to barbers in the Roseville area!

Janelle is truly amazing. When you find that one good barber, you just cant let them go. She has been cutting my hair for over 3 years pretty much weekly. Always friendly and inviting and now with her own shop, its truly spectacular. My son always ask when he can go back for his turn. Come in, get your haircut, relax and enjoy a beverage. While in town for a wedding, I was searching for a place to get my head shaved and beard trimmed the day of the ceremony and was lucky enough to discover Shipwrecked. Janelle was incredibly accommodating of my unique timetable (short time in town, little time to get on her books) and was able to see me to get a trim.Janelle gave me a great head shave and beard trim (complete with scalp massage!), was a good conversationalist, and I looked great for pictures that will live on forever. Thanks a million Janelle for taking care of me. I only wish there was a twin of you back in Seattle. 🙂
