Place used to be good. Idk whats going in there now, called ahead to see if there was availability and was told both people are open. I arrive to find one barber now has a customer and the other has an appt....within 10 mins of hanging up.Tell people whats up, we all have schedules

Very pleased with my haircut the barber who’s name I didn’t get took pride in his haircuts he did . definitely worth it and will continue to get faded at this place . Oh and the haircut was $30 I gave the barber $40

I took my son(15 )who is bi-racial to get his hair cut this afternoon. I was very disappointed with the quality of the haircut. No, blending, all patchy and no edge up and even left a little patch of hair on the temple. He said the barber who cut his hair told him that they didn’t have the right products or tools to cut his hair the right way. I didn’t know that barbershops only cut certain hair and not black/ bi-racial hair, it didn’t specify on website or on the business. Very unhappy customer! I’m just glad it’s Spring Break and I have time to go somewhere else to get it fixed before school starts.

Waited for over an hr only for them to say we can only attend those with appointment. When I called prior to going, they asked me to come in without appointment. Such a horrible place

One of the best barber shops in town! The shop has a very relaxed, old school vibe and all the barbers are very talented and easy going. They do take appointments but walk-ins are more than welcome and they offer a decent variety of hair products not commonly found in stores. Highly recommend!

If you need a fresh fade or a touch up, the gentleman at Clippers go above n beyond. Theres always good music, good conversation, and good people. Julio gives the best cuts though!!!!

Unfortunately I can’t give zero stars.Walked in, because you cannot make appointments on the weekend. Two barbers, maybe two people ahead of me, roman and a girl with green hair was the other barber. Totally skipped me. I waited an extra two people and nothing so I just walked out. They had a lit’s, kept checking the list, somehow I kept getting skipped. Two hours wasted! Biggest disappointment by far

Ive been coming to this barber shop for about 4 years now and every time has been an absolute joy. The wait times can be long at times, but that expected when a shop has such excellent staff and customer service. The wait is well worth it and youre guaranteed to get a skilled barber whom will assist you with getting your haircut just right.I always recommend this shop to my friends and people who are looking for that classic barbershop vibe. Definitely come here to get your hair cut, you wont be disappointed!

You’re time and money are not going to be valued here. Waited for over an hour as a walk in and was still not seen while a barber who was not doing anything simply walked to the back and did not return. In the front of the store they have a sign that says walk ins welcomed. Apparently not. P.s. avg. haircut here is 30$. That’s expensive if you ask me for the amount of customer service this place provides.

Months ago it was a 4 star experience but today was by their for other reasons and noticed that they are not enforcing the mask mandatory laws rules.This is disappointing because they are regulated in how they handle their health care responsibilities.Crazy part is they have 2 different signs that say even with the haircut going you have to have a mask on.Well there is the picture that shows the person flouting your enforcement of this rule.

Nice looking place but $30 for a simple cut no shave no scissors way too much not all cuts are the same need take that in consideration I may come back if Im looking for a unique style and hope it aint no more than $30

The only reason I took off a star was that I was really confused when I walked in. There was no obvious desk to walk up to or anything and the TV was on really loud. Both staff members just kind of stared at me.If they fix that part of the experience, I will happily change my review to 5 stars!That said, the haircut Julia gave me was awesome and I will definitely return!

I’ve been here a few times. A co worker referred me and every time I get a great haircut. Wait times can sometimes be lengthy but of course the barbers take their time on their haircuts. They crack jokes here and there and overall the shop has a great vibe. Keep up the good work!

The ONLY barber I will allow to cut my hair is Chris the Barber! I will go to him and only to him. Chris is an asset to Clippers! Chris does amazing cuts and has built up a large client base because of the quality of work he does. You will need to make an appointment for him most likely but the wait is worth it! There are a number of other quality barbers in this location and usually you can walk in and get cut up pretty quickly but if you are wanting Chris the Barber to make you look tip top youll need to schedule a time. The quality standards at this shop are higher than most barbers shops I know of. The only negative for this location is that sometimes parking is a real pita.

Gil’s blanco rd location is great. Staff is friendly it’s a good vibe when you can jump in a conversation with them whether about sports or just life in general and local happenings around town. Prices are what’s expected for a city like San Antonio. Don’t expect a beard trim and haircut for $25 that would be selling themselves short for the work they do. I saw a previous comment from a user on here saying he was overcharged but that’s not the case I get my beard and haircut and don’t mind $40 plus I’m spending!

This place is always so clean and ASHLEY is AMAZING at her job. My husband got a fresh face from him and was beyond satisfied. Definitely will return for her again.

$30? really? Thirty dollars, its way too much. I was next door for an appointment at my attorneys office, then saw Clippers and decided to walk in for hair cut. Ive had hair cut $22 - $24 but $30? Over rated, hopefully they change.

Good haircuts, but the problems here are the service and lack of honesty, you’re never greeted or acknowledged, and one of the lady’s by the name of Alondra, claimed to not be there but as soon as I came in the next day, there she was cutting another person. She didn’t look at me and pretended to not even know me after coming in just recently and texting her about getting a haircut. I promise you the wait here takes forever, if you’re coming in to get a haircut I would highly recommend not wasting your time driving, only to wait for another hour just to be seat for a simple haircut.

Waited 30 minutes, 3 barbers finished with other clients in that time. 1st went on lunch, ok. 2nd began cleaning and fixing tools, and did so for at least 10 minutes until I left. 3rd walked to back, right passed me. Neither even acknowledged that I was waiting. Thats just rude.

This is the last time I visit this place. They do not care if you wait for long periods of time. They are extremely slow between haircuts and are not concerned with promptly taking care of the customer. They will drag out time between haircuts to make it to break. It seems like the average time for a haircut per barber is an hour plus if you are lucky. I am literally the only one here and two barbers take a break at the same time. I’ll take my money else where.

Been coming here for about a year now my old barber referred me to Heron. He’s awesome makes me feel like I never left California to begin with. Go check out the shop and ask for him!

Worst customer service ever! Used to be my go to spot. They do great hair cuts, but twice I have been there, signed in as required and I get skipped over. Normally this is not a big deal, but when your on your lunch break it is a big deal. Today this happened to me and not only did they seem not to care but caught an attitude with me because I got up to leave due to being skipped several times. Due to my experience, they lost a customer and I will not be back nor will I recommend to anyone anymore.

This is in response to a previous negative review left by Rj. These barbers take their time to make sure they put out a good haircut if you can’t accept the wait time maybe you should go to great clips they’ll have you in and out in 15 mins. Then you can come to clippers and have them fix it for you. Also is that barber supposed to acknowledge you like your gods gift? Maybe it was her day off and was cutting a family members hair or something you just assume you were ignored by her, you owe her and shop apology since you’re just assuming things. I’ve been a customer for about 3 years now and I’m always greeted maybe you didn’t hear them but the barbers always greet ppl.

Business was unorganized. Wrote my name on the list, waited for over an hour, and ended up leaving. The barbers present seemed more concerned about talking with themselves than providing quality haircuts. With a full barber shop of costumes, the barbers would take lengthy breaks between each costumer and didnt seem concerned about it. The finished product seemed good from what I could see, but I dont have time to waste sitting around. From other reviews, this seems like a common occurrence for them.Its unfortunate, they could have had my business about once a week for over 3 months.

The atmosphere is cool but the wait time is questionable.Shannon is my barber and she nails the cut every time. Shes not there (at Clipoers) anymore, shes at Patriot cuts (wait time there is awesome!). Parking is not convenient.

This place is over all good but the only thing I found to be ridiculous was their prices. Once the guy was done cutting my hair I had asked if he could also trim and line up my beard and his response was that it would be in additional 25$ to do which would come out to 50$ for a damn haircut/beard trim. Smfh

They take forever because they talk too much. Once youre in their chair, youre at their mercy. If they put down their tools to talk with their hands for ten straight minutes, while ignoring you, half way through your haircut, theres nothing you can do, and they take full advantage of that fact. They also let people skip the (always very long) wait if they request a specific barber. For instance, you could be waiting 45 minutes and someone who walks in 40 minutes after you can be in a chair before you because they drop a name. I highly recommend going to the Clippers on Bandera Rd. My son and I have never had these problems at that location. Dont feed the egos at the Blanco location.

Ill be giving the eatablishment a 2 not because of the services given but the horendous pricing. While receiving my haircut a young man walks in and ask the price ofor a haircut including the beard it was said that it would be 25$, when I get up to pay for mine same services some how its 45$ thats ridiculous It would bekon the question was it because I was black.

Usually get a great cut, but the wait is always lengthy because they are in no hurry to start their day on time. They open at nine but the doors are rarely open by then and the staff doesn’t arrive until after nine.

Cool atmosphere and love all the decorations but I have to agree with they poor review on here that thats about all they offer. I loved the decor and they are close to my home so I stuck with them for a while, tried out several of their barbers all who are good but nothing amazing and they all seem WAY more interested in whats on the tv than anyone in their chair.I also have to agree with the poor review on their razor work. I tried out 5 different barbers over the year I used them and every single one left my neck feeling like it had been rubbed with sandpaper.It may sound dumb but the place looks so badass and has such a laid back feel that I kept going back thinking next time will be better for sure.I switched over to Parlour at wurzbach and nw military and even though the decor is pretty sissy (looks like a typical salon) Yvonne is an awesome barber and her razor work is smooth as butter. The price is pretty much the same but they include a hot towel for the face and a shampoo so there are no stray hairs falling off of you throughout the day. Call ahead for an appointment though because they wont try to squeeze you in so that no one is ever rushed. Other reviews say the owner does a pretty awesome job but I recommend Yvonne for sure.Sorry Clippers, If I could take your awesome shop and put Yvonne in it, you would get me back in a second!

Was at shop and waited almost an hour...finally when seen I advised the barber all I want is a line on my beard and mustache.....well the barber cut off the top of my sideburns (Im bald) by my ears and left my mustache crooked...now I have to wait for a week or two for hair to grow back....NEVER AGAIN...
