The Service guys were professional and fast I am super impressed with the service the technicians, my furniture looks brand new saved me hundreds of dollars because I was going to buy new furniture and my area rug looks better than when I brought it. I will recommend and use the service again.

I had Stanley Steemer clean the duct system in my house. Guys were professional and showed me what they were doing each step and even took pics of the inside of the ducts. They are super clean now for the winter. Highly recommend them.

The service started off a little rocky because two technicians showed up, but one decided he was done for the day and took off and left his partner alone. The technician who stayed was wonderful. He did very good work and was friendly and professional despite having to unexpectedly work alone. I would definitely welcome him into my home for future cleaning needs.

The guys that came out to perform the jobs were very thorough and professional, so I was having my furniture & carpet cleaned, when they finished the upholstery cleaning the guy started doing the bedroom carpet and once finished he started packing up?? So Im like are you going to do the living room? He was like the invoice says couch and bedroom *blank stare* Im like I said a Couch andOne bedroom apt home, I explained that cleaning just my bedroom doesnt even make sense as it was not even dirty, the living room is where the High Traffic is. I just so happened to have a carpet machine and did the living room myself🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️😩🤔😏. I attempted to leave 4 stars but the guys were really good at their jobs and I feel it would be a disservice to them! Just make sure to be very clear when theyre doing your invoice. So theyll be no misunderstanding 👍👌 Yes I would use them again 👌👍

Stanley Steemers cleaned the ducts in my home. I believe they did a good job of that, but I did not appreciate how they never cleaned up after they left a mess at all the access holes they created and most of the vents they accessed. They were courteous. I also never received the pics of before and after, as promised.

Having recently purchased my first home I wanted to take every measure to insure it was fully ready for my move-in - especially with covid always in the back of my mind. I know the great reputation of SS but sometimes you can lose quality with the bigger name companies, but not today! Marquis and Brian went above and beyond! They were right on time, courteous, professional and expertly explained all the steps and services they were going to perform. We did a walk-through of the space, discussed options and they were off to work! The locations they treated were primarily upstairs bedroom spaces which you want to give extra attention to - initially I had no idea how much the carpets would improve after their work was complete. The post clean walk through blew my mind! It was like night and day - adding the deodorizing was a game changer. The entire upstairs was refreshed. I hope there is an option to request a specific team in the future. I even managed to upgrade the sad dusty doormat the previous owner left which would have only brought more debris into my home. I cant thank Marquis and Brian enough

Very, very bad experience with Stanley Steemer. Appointment made 5 weeks prior to our move to establish an estimate.The intervention is scheduled just after the move to facilitate the work of Stanley Steemer workers. On the day of the intervention, the workers who were supposed to start at 2:00 pm do not arrive. We called them several times and they finally arrived at 5:00 am, the time they were supposed to have finished the job! They quickly say that the estimate is not good and that it will cost us much more than what is written on the estimate. They accuse us of being liars and even accused us of making a false estimate! My husband tries to find a compromise but they argue about everything, they want to botch the job, my husband is obliged to stay to supervise their work, its a real nightmare! One of the workers is particularly aggressive and disrespectful. All this in the presence of the owner of the house and the real estate agent who arrived to check the condition of the house and to take back the keys. After 3 hours of fighting, my husband paid the amount agreed upon with the workers and asked for an invoice, which they refused to give him. He insisted and finally got an invoice with an amount left to pay! He had to fight again to get an invoice that was faithful to what had been agreed upon. Was it deliberate on Stanley Steemers part to underestimate the estimate at first and to arrive very late, knowing that we had our backs to the wall and absolutely had to have this cleaning done before returning the house? That for that we would accept to pay much more and accept a botched job? We dont know, but if we had to do this type of cleaning again, we would never agree to work with Stanley Steemer again.

This was my first time using the company. I was very skeptical because I thought it would be very expensive, but it actually wasn’t. The worker Ciecly was very well spoken and professional. I changed and edited what services I wanted and it didn’t bother him one bit. He was patient as I tended to my family and yard work. Certainly will book services again!

The service was excellent. I had a mattress cleaned for the first time after a family member had an accident. They came out the same day and did an excellent job. The gentlemen were polite and professional.

Updated: Needed for end of tenancy, house was vacant. Gave credit card in advance - was up charged and not given any notice it would be almost $60 more than I had planned. Very small spaces, $200. Absolute robbery. Would not recommend if you can find any other option.Home office reached out after my review and told me an unauthorized charge like that is not the company’s policy and refunded the upcharge. Great customer service!

We recently used Stanley Steemer to clean our carpet on stairs and basement. The crew did great and they were able to remove the stains that were there for 3 years.Today the crew to clean the ducts and vents came in. They did pretty good but left quite a few dusts from cleaning. Wished cleaning what they left behind was part of their job. Overall, were happy that the vents and ducts are clean after 3 years.

5-8-2021 _Extremely disappointed with work as it was not done completely. When asked to review i noted lots of dirt and areas not cleaned upstairs and down. Anything the 1 foot head could not go in was not touched. I took a wipe and cleaned areas that had not been touched, that were even over 12 inch width. I moved furniture that had not been moved or cleaned under or around. I was very transparent when I called Stanley Steamer to set appointment regarding work to be done and square footage. I was asked to pay $80.00 for additional room, this was a room that was to be included. Was also asked about additional services that I had already indicated I was not interested in. on the upside the 2 workers were nice, and polite. I would not use Stanley Steamer again.

Appointment schedule between 12pm and 5pm.Got voicemail saying they will arrive close to end of schedule time.Rearange the entire house items into garage.[2 levels]Took a half day off.Called numerous time to see where crew at.Keep getting 30minutes out.6:30pm no one showed up and person answering phone cannot get hold of the crew.SO HORRIBLE. .At 7pm recieved text they are on the way to complete schedule service.REALLY.Wasted my entire day and time on this company.Cancel service.I wasnt going waste my night either..NEVER recommending them to anyone.My Luck and my lost..

The technician arrived approximately 45 minutes late beyond the time frame I was given. However, he did an excellent job cleaning the entire upstairs carpet including the small hallway and stairs. The problem was as the result of him attaching an adapter to my bathroom faucet there was a terrible water leak under the cabinet which my wife and I discovered later that night. I contacted the manager of the Rockville MD office Johnathan Caprio who dispatched a plumber who stated the faucet had been damaged. I had purchased the faucet approximately two weeks before and everything was working great prior to the technician using it to hook up his hose. Some water even leaked into my living room ceiling causing wet spots. I was so distraught especially after paying more than $400.00 to have my carpet cleaned. Because of the corrective action taken by Johnathon to deal with the situation I felt so much better. He stated he would arrange for me to get a monetary discount; pay for the pumbing services as well as the replacement faucet I had purchased. He has been so helpful during this ordeal.He was very respectful as well and exhibited such a high degree of professionalism while helping me resolve this issue. Stanley Steemer is fortunate to have Johnathon as a member of its management team.

The Blakes were fantastic. I was the last stop of their long day and they treated me with respect and they cleaned my carpet in less than 30 minutes and they cleaned it VERY well. Outside of arriving 45 minutes past the end of the window scheduled due to poor scheduling of jobs in the area (kept calling during window and was told we were next, then was informed by the crew upon arrival that they were not the local crew and had to come across town 45+ in traffic during rush hour), the service requested could not be completed because it would take 2+ hours (thus ending at 9pm, which is late to begin with on top of having two toddlers at home). Crew was kind but tried to upcharge me on additions I didnt ask for and would have added time to an already late job. Icing on cake is that careless technician took a 3 inch chip out of wall swinging equipment around.

The carpets looked dirty after cleaning and rust left behind on carpet. I had used Stanley Steemer in Virginia Beach VA twice and they were wonderful.. My experience this time, the carpets look dirty not clean and they left some rust spots behind. I will never use Stanley Steemer in Germantown MD again and will not recommend to friends and family. I want a refund.

Website indicates to clean and seal tile for “a bathroom”, the cost is $104 so I scheduled an appointment. When they arrived, the cost jumped to $250 because they said the size of the bathroom matters. Bathroom is relatively small. My response was to indicate what square footages reflect what price online so one does not feel there’s a bait and switch. The answer was corporate handles the website. Be clear on your costs before you schedule them to come out so you do not get a 250% increase like I did.

My Technician was Eric Amankwah, he was very professional, moved all my furniture as needed, did an amazing job with the spots on the floor, explained everything to me in advance before doing any work to get my approval.

Never contact here. I talked more than 30 minutes for steam the carpet and got the correct estimated price. I told the exact number of rooms, the number of floors and location. The cost was good so I made a reservation. The person who arrived on the same day raised a ridiculous $250 and showed a re-estimated price. They give you a cheap quote over the phone even we provide the correct room size and just come over with a ridiculous price. Even they arent on time and dont tell you when theyll arrive, making you wait all day long.

I received excellent, same day as requested service. The workers were polite and hard-working, and, best of all, the carpet is fresh and clean no dog urine smell! (I pet-sat for a friends puppy. ) The price was less than twice the amount it would have been to rent unit from Home Depot and im sure they did a far better job than I would. Highly recommended!

The technicians were great! Friendly and polite. I needed my carpets cleaned and deodorized in one bedroom and a hallway. Tuesday October 20th They came out, cleaned it very quickly(not sure if that is a good thing, makes me feel as though maybe it wasn’t cleaned enough) and used a deodorizer that smelled great. It was nice for about 3 days, but now the smell is back. I’m so frustrated. $150 for nothing.

Kodjo came in and got to work. I expressed some heavily soiled spots that my husband and son created and he got the right up. It took about 45 minutes and he cleaned up behind himself. He put signs down of caution that didn’t have carpet but water was there. Totally professional and worth the money spent so I didn’t have to do it myself. Thanks Kodjo!

I got an online estimate to clean my carpet in the living room. Its a small house about 1800 sq feet. My living room is approximately 15x24. Also clean my sofa and area rug. The estimate was for $175. I thought that was really reasonable. When they get to my house they want $575. Then the lowest they can do is $375. What is the point in an estimate if you dont honor it. What a waste of time for both of us.

First time using a professional carpet cleaning service and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. The website is very user friendly and transparent about the costs upfront. I appreciate not having to deal with pushy sales people. The technicians were profession and friendly, they answered all of my questions before/during/after cleaning. My carpet looks brand new! I have a significant amount of carpeted stairs in my home and couldn’t have imagine cleaning them without Stanley Steemer. Will use the service again!

Did a good job through the 3 bedrooms. Knew the stairs would be a challenge since its heavily trafficked.I called them after about the stairs, that it might need a 2nd touch. At no extra cost they came by and did an amazing job. 5 stars.

Technicians were scheduled to arrive between the hours of 12 and 5, they arrived around 4:45pm. Very professional, both wore masks, and explained the procedure. I showed them what furniture they could move and pointed out trouble spots for extra care on the basement stairway and in the living room. It took about an hour and I reviewed the area I could see before they left. They did the pre-treating, cleaning, deodorant and shield. The carpet came out pretty good, better than expected because it hadn’t been cleaned before and receives heavy traffic. The only thing, the scheduler said the drying time would be from 8 to 24 hours, but the tech said about 72hrs. Also I wish the scheduler has mentioned other services like drapery cleaning-didn’t know the did that. Good Job! Will probably get the rest of the carpet upstairs cleaned.

The staff was very professional and took care with my furnishings. I just finished a home renovation, but didn’t realize how much dust would filter into the rest of the house. I was very pleased with the impeccable service that I received. I will definitely use them again.

I had all of the carpets cleaned in my three story townhouse. I had just moved into this home and the previous owners left a TON of stains and had pets which left their marks all over the home. My expectations weren’t that high, because of how horrible the carpets were, but the technicians worked some magic and were able to make the carpets look almost new!!!
