Priddy is a great company to do business with as they are fair, considerate, and their workers are skilled craftspeople in their field. Christina handled a multitude of issues related to our work involving permits and working with us on materials to our Homeowners Association. Eric was the lead in the actual work and went above and beyond to deliver quality results that were evident with the workmanship and finished product. I would hire Priddy again for any future work on our home. They are outstanding!

Prompt, efficient and reliable service by Priddy Chimney. They cleaned our my dryer vent and fireplace flue and advised me about a potential hazard within the ceramic walls of the fireplace. Upon replacement of the fireplace walls they were right. Lots of soot was between the floor piece and the tile which could have caused combustion with continued use. Replacement tiles look fantastic. Overall Priddy is an excellent company to work with!

I found this company by luck, just googled nearby chimney companies. I called them yesterday and less than 24 hours later my work is completed. Their workers were polite and competed the job sooner than expected. This job required more resources than initially anticipated but they were still able to get it done today on time. I couldnt be happier with the results. They also protected my light colored carpeting with covers which I appreciated greatly. I will definitely use them in the future.

The chimney on our 40+ year old house was literally starting to crumble. Based on a recommendation from a friend we called Priddy. Over a period of several days, their technicians tore the old chimney down to the ground, rebuilt it to current code, and, when they were finished, left the workplace spotless. Now Ive always believed that a company succeeds or fails based on their workforce so I want to give a special shout-out to Fernando, Fernando and Jaun, the Priddy technical team assigned to our project. They knew their job and did it very very well. Bottom line: Id call Priddy again and recommend them to anyone with chimney problems.

These folks were great! Super fast. Excellent price! (I did have an Angies list coupon which provided a great discount.) I noticed that my chimney cap had been blown off recently, not sure how long it had been like that. Priddy Chimney had a crew in my area and could do the install SAME DAY! The team was quick, professional, and cleaned up after themselves (unlike some contractors). Quick and easy job for them. Great price for me. I would certainly hire them again!

Priddy swept several of our chimneys, including cleaning the wood stoves. They arrived on time and were efficient.

My chimney has never been inspected or cleaned in the 6 years I have lived at my home. The cicadas decided to enter my house through an open chimney flew that I was unaware of. The crew came out and disgarded the cicadas in my fireplace (that I had sealed off with plastic after the first once came into my house). They cleaned it and put on a lock top damper, I think that is what it is called. They also cleaned my chimney. They made time for me the same day I called and came back two days later to finish. I am very grateful to them and recommend them for any chimney services you need.

I used the Google reviews when I chose Priddy to work with and I wish I had checked Yelp before making what was ultimately a poor decision. Yelp’s reviews are more indicative of the experience I had. My advice is to not use this company for more than a chimney cleaning.Right off the bat, its really expensive for work that is good but not good enough for the price. More importantly, dealing with this company has been the worst experience I have had with a company, I think, ever.They started out great, very responsive and helpful until I paid my deposit and committed to the work. The workers were supposed to arrive between 8AM - 10AM which didnt happen at all, they were arriving between 11 and as late as 1:30PM and leaving by about 3 - 3:30. Twice they failed to arrive at all, no phone call from anyone, they just didnt show up and when I called I was told the main worker called in sick but no one thought to call me.What was supposed to take a week dragged out to close to 3 weeks because at one point they sent the workers to another job. The project manager Hind, didnt show up at all during the install, despite telling me shed be here frequently to check how things were going, I saw her once, at the end.Then they sent me a final bill and once that was paid, they sent me another final bill and when I asked what it was for they just kept emailing the invoice. Finally, they said I had not paid for the actual stove which ended up being a blessing in disguise. Why? Because they sold me a stove that I can not get logs for - standard sized logs are 16 and the stove they sold me only takes 12. When I called around the city to find 12 logs no one cuts them that size and finally one of the vendors told me that it is very expensive to alter their equipment and since so few people need non-standard sized logs they dont cut them and that is why I cant find them. Maybe someone, somewhere would do it but Im guessing at twice the price. So, I told Christine and Hind at Priddy to come and get the stove because I wasnt going to pay for a stove that I either needed to use a chop saw to cut the logs or hire someone else to do it - not an easy or cost effective solution.Ive never owned a wood stove so I relied on these over-priced experts for information and guidance and they should have explained, when they RECOMMENDED this wood stove, that I would not be able to use standard logs for it and I would not have bought it. In fact, it was actually the ONLY stove they recommended so its not as if I would have noticed the specs and asked, why does this one say 12 logs and this one 16?When I sent them an email telling them about this problem, I didnt get an apology or even an immediate call back, in fact the first call back I received after I sent my email was about 2 weeks later and when I told her I was right in the middle of a meeting and to call back, it took her another 3 weeks to call me again. When she did, again no apology for what theyd done, just a demand that I pay for the stove and when I said come and get it she responded with, it doesnt work that way. Okay well dont come and get it but Im not paying for it. Maybe in her world, it doesnt work like that but in my world when you are sold a product that is unusable or when you are not satisfied with a service you dont pay, you send it back and you never use that company or service again.

In March 2017 we had Priddy Clean come out to inspect our old fireplace. We were on the verge of inadvertently burning our house down, our pre-fab fireplace was really that bad. Christina was wonderful, she walked us through every step from start to finish.. She had wonderful suggestions for the rock and mantle and even recommended where to get the materials. The installers got everything done without a hitch and it went from drab to breathtaking in only a couple of days. The attention to detail is impeccable. We highly recommend Christina and her team for whatever your project is, from just a cleaning to a total renovation. Their work is magnificent.

We were able to get on their calendar very quickly and they completed the work in just two days. Highly recommend using Priddy Chimney Sweeps. I found them on the Internet and was able to schedule an appointment on their webpage in less than 5 minutes. Got a text from the technician half an hour before his arrival, and he arrived right on time. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Andrey the technician was a certified sweep and not just some seasonal hire. He was polite, professional, fast and very attentive to detail. About 30 minutes later I had an email with an estimate of all recommended work for my fireplace and chimney with pictures included. There was no sales pitch, just a detailed explanation of my options and priorities. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience.

Our chimney liner failed last Night and our basement filled with oily smoke. Called Priddy at around 11pm on a Saturday night. They had a crew at our house by 9am. New liner installed by 11. Would recommend this company to anyone. Christina was particularly helpful!

We got three quotes and there’s was the best for the same work and identical materials. Responsive on the phone. The three man team did great work, cleaned up, and wore masks the whole time. I will definitely use them again.

Dissatisfied. Booked in a chimney clean, report and video. Did not arrive on day scheduled. They called about 6pm and said that there was a truck blocking the street but we were working from home so.. unfortunately this wasnt the case. Arrived two days later with no notice. Did not provide report or video. Reported a crack in the concrete, had to follow up three times for a quote, which eventually came through a week or more later and was grossly overpriced i.e $2000 compared with $1000 we were briefly advised by the technician. Also not comparable to others. Do not recommend.

I called Priddy seeking to get an estimate on chimney repairs for a potential forever home. Priddy services were not used only because the contract to purchase the property was terminated. However, if ever I need services on a future property I’ll be sure to contact Priddy! Priddy was on time, clean, responsive, and professional. Our chimneys presented a few unexpected challenges and they dealt with them easily. I would definitely use them again!

I decided not to have them inspect our chimney and give us an estimate for repairs. They were the only company that wanted to be paid for an estimate. They didnt give an acceptable explanation for why they charge and the others dont. I dont consider that they give us a written statement was worth the cost. I suspect their costs are enough out of line that no one uses them. Our job is going to cost 4 figures 20% could be a lot of money.

I used this company two years ago to repair our chimney cap and do some point work. They did a great job. I need some more work done so I have called them. Lets see how quickly they respond. I was concerned reading Lawanyas review but was glad to see who they stood behind their work and I appreciate you updating your review. Thats only fair. Seems like they truly understand customer service and they care about their customers. You can only control your workers so much and until someone complains, you cant fix it. Priddy just finished another project at my home. Last year, I needed the chimney rebuilt. The team at Priddy explained the process and options -- teaching me what I needed to understand to make the right decision for my budget and the aesthetics of my home. I saw their truck and decided to call. They came out the same day to my surprise. My chimney needed to be swept it started fine and within 20 minutes they were telling me they were done. My husband happen to be home and took a look at the chimney from the top and could pluck debris with his hand. The brush they were using was worn and at best had about 1 round of wire bristle. The brush needed to be replaced. After my husband showed them that this was not acceptable they went and did the job that we paid them for. It took an additional 40 minutes. $220 for 20 minutes and we are talking about safety of my home and family. I would not refer this company. You are suppose be a professional and do your job. We paid what you what you asked and we are suppose to get a professional job.8/20The owner contacted us and came out to discuss our complaints. Our fees were refunded. The time he took to explain their business and how things should of been was very much appreciated. He made us feel that we are worth the time it takes to make things right. Which means the world to me. Customer SERVICE. We decided to have them re line our chimneys and re point our fireplace. Christine came out with her team to show us how they would do the work. I have been using Priddy clean for years for all our brick and chimney work as well as air duct and dryer vent cleaning. We have been 100% satisfied. The work is first class. I cant believe how easy the whole process was. Our furnace vent cap has been off our vent pipe for months, if not a year. We have reached out to so many handymen, roofing folks, HVAC companies - all of whom werent able to do the work.We have had to retrieve three birds that flew down the vent pipe and deal with water that dripped down the pipe during the last big storm. Getting that cap back on is immensely helpful to us and I cant believe we didnt think of contacting Priddy Clean sooner. Your service folks that came out were prompt, courteous, and got on the roof and re-installed the cap in minutes.So, in summary, we had a fantastic experience with courteous, prompt, and expeditious service.

The guys that came out to do my chimney inspection today were so kind and polite. They explained everything really well.

We contacted Priddy at the recommendation of several professionals in the fireplace/heating industry. We rarely used our fireplace because of a persistent backdraft and were interested in installing a gas fireplace. Christina and other members of the management team provided us with several options. After being informed that relining would likely improve the function of our wood burning fireplace we decided to go ahead with the relining and insulation and hopefully maintain our original damper, which could easily be broken during the breakout and relining process. This would allow us to readily convert to gas at a later date should we desire. Priddy scheduled the work for within days of our making a decision to have it done. The crew, led by Hugo, relined both our fireplace and our hot water heater exhaust in a single day, explaining things as they went along. As the work got underway, and through our conversations with Hugo, it became apparent that there were adjustments that needed to be made to the original plan. These were made seamlessly because of facile communication between management, the crew, and us. The crew went above and beyond in making sure everything was in tip top shape by the time they were finished and not only preserved our original damper but also cleaned and protected it with heat-resistant paint. It was a pleasure to have these professionals in our home. Our fireplace is functioning better than ever, and we no longer have to worry about hazards inherent to a 55+ year old chimney. We were extremely pleased with our interactions from beginning to end and would absolutely recommend Priddy.

Priddy Chimney Sweeps came out today and installed a stainless steel liner and it certainly appeared to be a lot of work. But the team accomplished all of it today and left late afternoon. Abe, as the foreman, particularly prompts me to say that. Also I was assured again by Sam and Hind (the office people) that they had remembered my contacting them recently for pictures and an estimate and I found that the final price was competitive. Excellent service and knowledge by technicians Andre & Jose. They were timely, clean, detailed, and thorough.Only four stars due to frustration with scheduling. Backlog was three weeks (understandable). But the company changed my original 9-11am schedule to 11am-1pm the day before service. Then, morning of service they said 12-2pm arrival. In our lives of tightly planned schedules, this just creates challenges.But, in the end, the in-site service says it all. These guys do good work!

Your staff could not have been more professional and knowledgeable about my fireplace cleaning. They worked as a team and showed respect for my home. The workers from Priddy did a fantastic job with our chimneys, were respectful and showed expertise in chimney work.  The whole Priddy team, in general, helped us navigate an issue with work by another company and gave us good advice.  They are very professional take pride in cleaning up after themselves.BUT, the day they came to get the job done, they used the faucet outside our house to mix concrete and failed to completely turn it off.  This caused water infiltration in our basement.  The office team acknowledged the mistake, but was unwilling to address the damage when we asked them to.  And this is why we decided not to give them 5 stars.Having said so, we still plan to work with Priddy for chimney-specific issues and maintenance.

There were many barriers to overcome with our fireplace repair, ie...weather, computer system was new and our appt was changed to finished instead of waiting, and logistical things. Co2 Emisions, My 94 year old fathers Gas Hot water heater was back flowing Co2 into his home because of blockage in his Chimney and before we could fix the hot water issue the chimney had to be brought up to Code. We set up a date and they said they’d get here between 10am and noon. I arranged to stayed home from work for that day.Day of I got a text around 9am saying they’d be here in an hour. I got a call around 10am when they supposedly got here, but I missed it since my phone was on silent. At 10:15am I called back to see where the inspector was, but was told he’s already on his way to another job since he’s a busy man and works in tight timeframes (probably should build a time buffer). I told them that no one knocked on the door and I only had one missed call. They had my address and the inspector could have at least tried to knock or call a second time.In the end, they offered to schedule for another day, but I decided not to.

Punctual, clean, and courteous. Knowledgeable and informed us on what needs to be and what should be fixed with our 50 year old chimney.

All in all a satisfactory experience. I contracted for extensive work in reconstructing a fireplace and chimney about 140 years old. The work that Purrdy did was excellent, thorough, complete. The workmen were helpful, knowledgeable and polite. The clean up after what was filthy work was impeccable. I recommender this firm without reservation.

Today, Priddy Clean Chimney Services came to do a chimney cleaning. In 2011, they installed a stainless steel liner in our chimney and we hadnt a cleaning since then. They showed up on time and did a great job. The chimney liner didnt have much of a build-up and there was no creosote. The found a piece of flashing around the chimney basethat had come loose on the roof, secured and sealed it for no additional charge. Andrey was the primary person I spoke with and was very knowledgeable. I couldnt be be more with this kind of service.

Where to start. Came highly recommended. I called for an inspection and cleaning if necessary, about mid August with a goal of knowing if I could start burning fires safely for the winter. First available was mid September (9/15/21). Scheduled 9/15 for 3-5p. Never received a appointment confirmation email although was told I would and they clearly had my email for the amount of spam they sent me on their relocation and invoicing. On 9/15, around 1030a I received a phone call to confirm my appointment for 9/16. I flatly told receptionist there was a mistake as my appointment was for that afternoon from 3-5 and I was EXTREMELY unavailable 9/16 as i rescheduled work around this appointment moving all meetings to 9/16. Receptionist then VERIFIED after directly asking if someone would come out that day and said that I would have someone coming out that afternoon per my original appointment. Around 430p on 9/15 I called back concerned why I had not heard / seen any one yet. SAME WOMAN told me that I was showing as confirmed on 9/16 from 8-10a. I corrected her in saying that I NEVER confirmed the 9/16 and had a whole conversation on that call earlier in the morning on how I was unavailable and to have someone come that afternoon. She attempted to tell me that I agreed and confirmed to the 9/16 appointment. After asking who i spoke to that morning and she then confirmed it was indeed her. I adamantly confronting her lies and mistakes that I told her that I had said that morning my appointment was 9/15 from 3-5, I would not be available on 9/16 due to work, then reminded her that she TOLD ME she would get someone out that afternoon AND CONFIRMED that someone would come after I explicitly asked if someone would still come out from 3-5p. Finally after much back and forth, she worked in a reschedule. She first told me the next time they would have for my area would be for 9/28 (2 WEEKS LATER) which i told her would not work as I already waited a MONTH for this appointment. After a moment she scheduled a 3-5p appointment for 9/21, advising (AGAIN) i would receive a confirmation email which i never got. Although I had to wait ANOTHER week, I CALLED THEM MONDAY to confirm my then Tuesday appointment. On Tuesday 9/21 I received a text that the technicians would be arriving shortly with a link to show the specific technicians. THIS TEXT IS THE ONLY POSITIVE FROM THIS EXPERIENCE! useful to receive a heads up with a link / image of expected technicians. Unfortunately, the inspection at 180$ a pop is a F*n RIP OFF! Visual inspection that (and i cannot express this enough) LITERALLY A LOOK AT AT MOST and then told they would not do a cleaning because they didnt feel comfortable but that we would receive a report WITH PHOTOS as they packed up and left. Just for knowledge here, the chimney was recently fixed and new cap placed on. By 11pm THAT NIGHT, I had received my invoice for the inspection. I ended up calling them a week later as I STILL HAD NOT SEEN SAID REPORT. Same receptionist advised that I should get it within a day or 2. 4 DAYS LATER.... at 930p I received a $23,000 Service proposal for a F*N NEW CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACE INSTALLATION. Now 10/4 still no report let alone photos promised. Yea. NEVER IN YOUR LIFE will I work with this company again. I do not understand how I win every time with the WORST service experiences from highly recommended companies. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Priddy Chimney Sweeps has done an outstanding job rebuilding and upgrading our chimneys, both the exterior brick work, the interior masonry, and fantastic new gas inserts, as well as decorative facing. Special shout out to Fernando A and Fernando M, and all the other crew members. Really great company that I would recommend to others needing chimney work.
