Very nice and clean place buttttt!!..... I did not like my nails!!! The lady was rushing and my nails shape was a mess i had to go back so that they can reshape them... And i also had acrylic all over my fingers

3rd time trying them. All 3 times I did not get what I asked for. This time, I told the lady 3x I wanted red nail, silver tip. This is what I ended up with. I was offered to have them redone but I had another appointment I had to get to (physical therapy after surgery) and I couldnt wait to have them redone. I was told I would have to pay if I went back. It was a fill in. You can see the old stuff. I am not happy and wont be back.

I really wanted to like this place as it was highly recommended. Yes, an appointment was made for a manicure. NOTE: I strongly recommend making an appointment as I watched potential customers being asked this upon entering. After signing in and before sitting down, I was instructed to choose my nail polish. The color I envisioned for my nails was there but, in my opinion, the bottle needed to be replaced as it appeared almost empty and dried up. My wait time was acceptable before being called back to start my manicure.I really respect service workers; knowing full well they work hard and deal with both great and not so great customers BUT I do expect great customer service and expertise for a service Im paying for.So heres what happened: the nail tech confirmed the requested service. She asked why didnt I choose gel polish briefly explaining gel polish lasts longer. I agreed with her but shared my preference of sticking with a regular polish. My response seemingly agitated her because she started to speak in her native language to a nearby co-worker. I didnt like that! Most nails shops Ive visited in the last few years, the employees have stopped or reduced their conversations amongst themselves to perhaps not make the customer feel uncomfortable. Maybe this establishment didnt get the memo.As the tech started, I thought it would be a great idea to tell her what I wanted: oval-shaped nails and glue on a nail tear. She responded curtly stating my nails werent long enough for the requested shape. I told her I had never heard that before. She then placed the soaking bowl on top of the table a little harder than I would have liked. As she pushed back and cut my cuticles, I held my breath! Then as she prepared to polish my nails, I reminded her Id asked earlier if she could put some nail glue on a small tear I had. She seemingly ignored me as she didnt acknowledge my request. Thankfully, she did apply the glue. After the top coat was applied, she put a mini fan in front of my hands for my nails to dry. She walked away, never to return...I tried to have some empathy seeing the shop was very busy. But great customer service is what Ive grown to expect and I didnt get it here.

I showed the nail tech a picture of how I wanted my nails and she told me that she could do it. She did not know in the slightest what she was doing. Burnt 8 out of 10 of my fingers with the drill and I was left with having to go someplace else to get my nails fixed. They are not smooth and have horrible quality. Dipped nails should never look as bad as these

I’ve been a client for about two years and I’ve always had Mary as my tech she is sweet and does a great job. The staff is always friendly and have many services available. They are always accommodating and if you are not happy with something they will correct it until you are happy!

I truly love enjoy the atmosphere and the ladies at TK, they’re all pleasant and personable with your nail service. Tee is my favorite she’s always on time professional and does great work!

I got my nails done last week Saturday they are already chipping the man burned my cuticles several times I am so unhappy I need to go get a fill in today. That was my 1st and last time

Some of their nail techs aren’t skilled at applying nails. Every time I’ve gotten my nails polished with gel, my nails become dull and lose their shine within a couple of days. No where else has this happened, only when i go here. I definitely won’t be coming back here.

Today I have a full set put on for the first time instead of just S&S on my real nails since they were so short and they turned out great and she was fast which is important for me.

Came in with a picture of the nails i wanted, and they came out looking even better than the photo.

Nail tech did a terrible job. I made him aware that I didnt like the way my nails looked and that he keeps hurting my fingers and he yelled at me. He also kept saying the gel polish was too thin and proceeded to get it all over my fingers. Never gave me the manicure I asked for and then after I had him remove my overlay he shaped my natural nails into the coffin shape...some were narrow some werent and some didnt look coffin shaped at all. I will never go here again.

Bitter/Sweet TK Nails FYI they originally close at 7pm but they lock their doors at 6:30 dont know why they just dont close at 6:30.

The next day of having gotten my toenails done after a $68 pedicure, my nails were messed up. I had not been out in public or anything to have my toenails be messed up. Also, right as i got home i noticed one of the toenails’ french tip was chipped. I do not recommend going to this place if you’re looking for quality...the pricing is unfair for the results given.

I have been going to this place for 2-3 years. I’m not going to bash them because normally they are all friendly and do a great job. The one star is for my experience TODAY. I went in today and sat 15min, another woman comes in and asks for the same service as me and they rushed to seat her with a tech even though she had no appointment and I was ahead of her. I was told that someone would be with me shortly...after they seated the other lady.This review is simply to ask the staff to be considerate of all customers no matter their race, appearance etc. We are all paying ❤️

I spent $52 on my acrylic nails only for the gelPolish to bubble up and tear the VERY NEXT DAY. Also a diamond came off. I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I do not recommend.

I have been going to TK nails for 3 years now, they are my favorite salon. I recently moved to Georgia but still drive back to rock hill to get my nails done by Thy! She’s the best and really cares about producing quality work. Cammie and the owners are also awesome! I would recommend making your appointment with one of them!

The first time I went here I loved it! Aaron did an amazing job on my dip nails. I went back and got them done by Holly and I am not satisfied with how they look and it felt like she was rushing the entire time. I went back to get them fixed and she was rushing to fix them too! Very nice place but I will only go to Aaron from now on.

I love this place! The staff is so friendly, and they all do a fantastic job. I’ve had all ranges of pedicures, nail art, gel, regular and “dip powder” polish, as well as waxing services. They have NEVER disappointed! I recommend an appointment, especially during their busier times (holidays, Fridays).

If I could leave no stars, I would! I come here all the time and I spend $60-$90 and always tip! I’m a manger myself and work in customer service, so I definitely know how customers are supposed to be treated. I went today to get my nails done and my nail tech Linda had a nasty attitude because I asked her for my nails to be a little thick and she made them thin and had to put more acrylic on them and started snatching my hand and having an attitude. I asked her did someone else need to finish my nails, because I come here all the time and never have issues, and she became nice again. At this point I’m pissed. Then when I went to pay she handed another nail tech my bill and let her cash me out. I always tip and it’s still messing with me because I didn’t today. That was her loss on $10. But to top it off the manager was sitting at the front and I said she must be having a bad day because I never have issues when I come here and the manager just kept scrolling on her phone. She didn’t once look at me nor apologize! I will not be returning even though I drive from Heath Springs to get my nails done I will go somewhere else that wants my hard earned money!

I love this place. They are always very nice, and Im never dissatisfied with my pedicures. I dont get a manicure very much because of my job. They give you a menu of options to choose from. Its definitely spa quality! Im always relaxed there, and they serve the perfect drinks for those moments. Its very much worth the visit.

Do not waste your money here! Had a terrible experience! Cheap products and a rushed pedicure when there were 3 people getting services. High prices for the quality of work. I’m not one to complain or leave bad reviews but felt this needed to be addressed after I contacted management.

I have been multiple times but last night my husband and I went for a pedicure and it was a wonderful experience. It was my husbands first pedicure and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The ladies were amazing and took their time to make sure both of our toes were perfect, they didnt rush like some places. This was my favorite place to go. Until my last visit. I had a manicure, pedicure, and my eyebrows done. I went on a Saturday so of course the salon is close on Sunday. Monday I called back because after waiting hours to put my feet into my bedroom shoes, my toes messed up. I called to see if they could fix them I was told i was going to have to pay remind you two days ago I had just spent 90 dollars. I refuse to pay when the policy is two days and the shop is closed on Sunday. This was my favorite place to go now I am currently looking for somewhere else.

Ive got to this place multiple times and every time its a hit or miss. The first time Iwent, I got acrylics that popped off within a few days, then more recently I got gel polish on my natural nails and in less than 4 days, it a peeling off. Either is poor quality product or the service is just.... messy. There are other times where service is great but I need consistency. Definitely looking for a new place.

My bridesmaids and I had manicures and pedicures done here. The girls were great! They did a wonderful job on our nails and they were super fun! The quality of the work was excellent. My gel polish manicure has lasted 3 weeks so far with no chipping. I had regular polish done on my toes and it lasted 2 weeks, it didnt start chipping until we went on our honeymoon and I was in the ocean. They has color changing polish depending on temperature. I chose a lavender and purple color changing polish. It was really cool. I will be returning here for all my polishing needs!

It was busy, we were told to sit at the back bar to wait. We were marked off the list and not called.I went to front desk after around 45 minutes to see how much longer to see we were crossed off the list and customers who came in after us were in the middle of having their nails done.My nails looked horrible, even after asking the nail tech to fix two of my nails, they still looked awful. I was already late for the baby shower I was attending or i would have insisted they be fixed. I have been hiding my hands in embarrassment. I will never go back to this nail salon!I have been looking for a place to regularly have my nails done, most places are acceptable. This place is not!The photo is what I asked for and what I got. I did ask for a different color. Two of my nails have a dip between the tip and my nail.

Have used TK Nails since they opened and have always been very pleased. I had a 9:30 appointment this morning for a pedicure. Headed out of town at noon for my sons wedding. No one was there to open doors or answer phone. Waited in my car until 10:30; left to run an errand. Called back at 10:45 and still no answer. This has really messed up my schedule. I made my appointment for the first one so that I could get out in pleanty of time. I am now at a different nail bar getting my pedi. Very upset right now!

This is a very well designed salon. I’ve visited 3 times 1)pedicure 2)fill-in 3)Gel manicure; had appts for 1-2. Each visit had a 30-45 min wait. Services always feel rushed even when shop not busy. This place is getting a 2 because the service results are not good. Got gel on a Friday it was chipping by that Sunday. Fill-in was lumpy. I’m only returning to this place if someone else pays for it. NOT WITH MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!

I liked them but the last 2 times that I’ve gone, they overcharged my card, to me, it was to get back at me for poor service being called out. This time the over charge was by $10 as she’d first said I owed $72 but I refused to pay $27 for my daughters pedi (who is 9), after agreeing to only charge $20 as we’d already discussed upon arrival, plus I’d called in advance, they still charged my card an extra $10 (which equaled $54 charge) on top of the $20 in cash that I’d paid for my daughter. So I paid $74 at the nail shop for a full acrylic set and a pedicure on a 9 year old. The first time, when I didn’t dispute the overage, the girl was trying to talk me into a different more expensive service, that I refused, her customer service skills changed for the worse and she overcharged my card by $3.00 as if she’d given herself a tip. Smh I am irate about my money! And it’s the principle. No bueno! I’ve been going for months, who knew loyalty cost money...

So incredibly rude! The technician tried hard to sell me a different service than I was requesting. Once I repeatedly said no she finally stopped. Then she proceeded not to speak to me the rest of the time she very rudely talked on the phone 90% of the time she was working on my nails. So. rude.

If i could give half star I would. I went in and ask for medi-pedi combo $ 62 and was told that gel polish would be $3 more. Once services were done the lady asked for $98 like she was right. Long story short after I had to step beside myself while talking to manager I paid for what I asked for which was too much for the chipped nails that Im looking at this morning and they are Gel nails which isnt suppose to chip. SMH TK Nails. I was referred by a friend, trust I had a word or two for her as well. Check prices and then have them verbally conform, if you dont want to have my experience.

Ladies we need to start finding and supporting American(black, white, hispanics) or other foreigner nail technicians, since we are not valued enough to the asian ones! We have to stop giving them our money since they continue to mistreat us!!! We have to give others opportunities so that they can open their own nail salons and more nail salon schools‼️

Did a nice job on my nails, but it would be nice if my nail tech talked to me (im guessing she was mad because i didnt want to up charge everything) believe me I tried! Also, after one time of saying I dont want to do gel that should be enough. I find it rude to constantly be asked if i want something I already said no to and she asked three times! Lastly, its EXTREEMLY rude to NOT talk to your customers but talk constantly to the other workers in your native language!! Not cool...not sure if Ill be back?

I went in for a pedicure that costed $70. I spent a total of $130. The technician cut both of my feet up pretty bad and bruised them. They offered me a $10 gift card. If I pay that much for a nail service, I dont expect my feet to be sore for days after. I will never go back.

PART 2Two days ago, I received a call from the receptionist @ The Lake Wylie location telling me that “Way” doesn’t want to accept my appointment because I am “too picky” so I told the receptionist that this was fine, after the few incidents I had with “Way”, I don’t want her either as a technician but she is the only person to do the nail work I needed according to “Tony” so she re-scheduled me with Tony’s Wife “Khaly”. I still didn’t feel right about the way I was treated nor the call from the receptionist so I called early this morning Nov 30,2018 and got Tony to my surprise. I told him who I was and he didn’t know me (4 years)I asked him if he had time to talk because I had a complaint concerning his technician “Way”. He told me yes. I began to remind him of the prior events in which I had problems with Way being late, lazy and talking/ texting on the phone while doing my nails and that despite her workmanship because of my relationship with him from Rock Hill, I would still tip her (my big mistake). He immediately told me she has a right to do whatever she pleases and “sorry” no sincerity in his apology at all. I asked him: Tony, is that the type of apology you offer customers for that poor customer service and he replied: I have to go. I have to go, I have an alarm issue with the salon in Rock Hill, SC “sorry” than he hung up. Wow Wow WOW.I have never experienced this type of BS customer service from a owner/ manager ever in my life. Tony use to do my nails in Rock Hill, SC. I thought he was decent even getting to know that he had a family, and in-laws. He even me pictures of his children and knew that he had family bbqs during holidays. It is obvious to me like Tony and his employees do not know nor cares to knows the concerns of any of his / their customers. You can be a dedicated customer to his nail salons for years like myself or a customer for a day...regardless he and his employees will provide you will horrible customer service the minute you disagree with the service being provided to you. He and his employees will be fine with you just as long as you don’t complain about what they want to give you..Please don’t waste your time or money going to either of the locations in Wylie, SC or Rock Hill, SC. Yes, the workmanship in the nail service is mediocre but the customer service is so horrible. But the example starts with the manager Tony. He is not a leader or effective communicator in anyway shape or form and his technicians are the same way.

I love my nail tech Eric. The best in rock hill. Everyone there is friendly and know me by name.I come here every 2 weeks and I do love Eric my nail tech to the point that if they mess up my appt time I will wait over 30 minutes to see him. I came in today 5 minutes late for my appointment and they stated that was too late so he took another client. I am very disappointed that they couldnt wait on me five minutes but I have waited on them multiple times for over 30 minutes.Sad news guys I went to see Eric today for my nail appointment and he is no longer at this nail salon. They said they didnt know which salon he is now working. Hopefully I will find him because I left and didnt get my nails done.

(Wylie SC location) is lazy, always late for work, texts and talks on her cellphone while working on clients nails and will cancel appointments on you without notice. If you complain on her or make an issue concerning her mediocre workmanship, she will lie on you or make up some BS story saying “you are a difficult” or “too picky” customer WTH...(We are paying customers) why should a customer pay for nails you feel like providing them. It’s the customer’s nails Way...NOT YOURS. She will also overcharge you.Please Be Advised This Nail Salon has two locations. One In Lake Wylie, SC and the other in Rock Hill, SC. Both locations are owned by a man named “Tony” and his wife is named “Khaly”. Both owners could care less about any complaints, problems or concerns of clients. I thought the owner was a decent person that was back in 2015 but he seriously lacks customer service skills and his primary objective is getting your money and treating clients like they are “nobodies”. Please read prior reviews and if in doubt, go to your Facebook page, type in this salon’s name and read those reviews. If you need further confirmation in regards to this sort of horrible customer service and treatment of clients, go to BirdEye reviews as well.There is no “one size fits all” in the customer service industry but Tony has it in his mentality that if you complain as a customer for any reason, you need to get over it and give him your money and accept how he or his employees treat you as a paying customer. He even passes this trend of thinking to his subordinate staff allowing them also to treat clients in any manner avoiding the “Golden Rule” of customer satisfaction. I recently had an issue with a technician named “Way”. She has done ok to mediocre work on my nails but originally “Tony” was my nail technician in Rock Hill, SC for the first few years. His work is decent. Than, Tony stopped doing nails to take on the role of full time management for both locations but even his management skills are well below average.I will be fair in saying that I tried to “work with Way” because “ Tony” was no longer available to do my nails but overall her work ok to downright mediocre that’s when she’s not talking or texting her boyfriend in Vietnam, she is constantly late or never shows up for appointments for the last several months and lastly they ran out of my polish that I normally use and she told me to “order my own polish” 😳😳. I didn’t know customers had to bring their own polish but ok. I brought this to the attention of Tony once and he half-heartily agreed and never apologized for the inconvenience of his technician “Way” and furthermore, he told me she is the only one to do the service I needed and that “Way” was unreliable. So why not talk to your employee? Aren’t you the owner - manger?

Ive been coming here and only here for 3 years. I rarely have a problem and when I have they have always fixed it. I recommend them to everyone. Im always getting compliments on my nails.

Came here for a full set. Things looked okay until i compared my nails to my friends and realized they’re extremely thin (thinner than half of her thickness) and the very next day 2 nails broke right in half before 10 am. Went to get them fixed which they did for free (though rushed and very sloppy) and those nails were significantly thicker than all my other ones. I figured i’d try to deal with it instead of asking/arguing with them to redo my whole entire set - 2 days later thumb nail breaks from barely hitting something. I’m like okay.. this is ridiculous!! 4 days and i’ve broken 3 nails!!! i went in and the lady at the front was rude saying why didn’t i tell him i wanted them thick. Sorry but i’ve NEVER had to specify that to any nail tech before....I also was talking to the tech about my job and how i wanted to make sure they don’t break... anyways, she called someone, got off the phone, said it was her boss and he said all he could do was have me pay $15 to get them thicker..... i asked to talk to him directly she wouldn’t let me and said he was on vacation. yeah okay. lol. i said when will he be in, idk he’s on vacation. i asked for his number she said sorry can’t give that to you. Smh never coming back here again!!!!

I just got my nails done Saturday, after I left I realized that my acrylic was uneven. The pregnant woman who did my nails. Did not do a good job, she was talking junk and did a bad job with my nails. She rushed and she did not take her time. I will not be going back.

I like this place due to 1 nail tech. Ive had issues with other nail techs and sloppy work. The owners also have a bad attitude at times which makes me not want to frequent this place.

Terrible experience. Cut cuticle until i bled, filed nails crooked, left powder/glue on side of nails,and the polish was clear, had no color.

I got my nails done for my highschool graduation and they looked horrible. And when I asked if I could change my colors because I didnt like them te owner told me you shouldnt have picked what you didnt like very rude.
