Had hair cut and styled by Whitney about a week ago - it was great! Very nice and very helpful in suggesting haircare tips. Very good with curls, would highly recommend Twisted Lemon; I’ve been going here for several years and I’ve never had an experience less than fantastic!

Ive had nothing but terrible experiences here not just with hair. However, I messaged them recently about a problem with the service they provided and i was literally told i was wrong and then they proceeded to block me. Mind you, i messaged one time and got blocked. Then was told they were surprised i didnt call. Its not easy making a complaint. But after her terrible reaction and then proceeding to block me, i have no issue complaining. The service has always been terrible. Theres one girl in there that can do hair and she is even turning into a complete b. I continued to go back because i always like yo make sure its not just me. And its not in this case. Dont go here.

My daughter and I are new to the Rock Hill area and were in desperate need of a salon day. Since we dont know the area very well or even know ANYONE that lives here. I went online to check out local salons. I found the Twisted Lemon! After reading all of the wonderful reviews, my daughter went ahead and called to make an appointment for the both of us. Our appointment was with Chelsea Rivers.My daughter and I are BEYOND HAPPY with our experience!! Chelsea was AMAZING! She made us feel very comfortable and told us about her experience in the hair industry. She was very sweet and boy oh boy did she do an AWESOME job on our hair!! I had an amazing experience with Whitney! She knew all about how to cut and style my curls, and she uses Dēvacurl products and Dēvacurl cutting/styling techniques. It was so nice to find someone in the Rock Hill area who cares for my curls the way I do -- with love, care, and respect. Whitney told me what she was doing as she cut and styled my hair, and she was super friendly and personable. I recommend her services to anyone with curls!

Dagnee has been doing my hair and my mom’s hair for a long time now. My mom also gets her lashes done here and she loves them! Everyone here is great! I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great salon, I’ve never had a bad experience here. I always come in with a picture of what kind of hair I want and sometimes I kind of crazy, but Dagnee is always willing to do it and she always does a great job! Hands down one of the best places in the area! We moved to Pineville back in October and I still come to Rock Hill to get my hair done, it’s definitely worth the drive to come to my favorite hair stylist!

I have always had long hair but wanted something different, I called and made an appointment with Whitney Simpson, when I got there I told her, she could decide what would be a good cut for my face shape and color for my skin tone, Omgezz I absolutely love my hair now and how healthy it looks and feels, Im excited and looking forward to my next visit with her, Whitney Simpson will forever be my hair stylist !!!

Have a different review than others. My hair was royally screwed up from a member at the salon because of miscommunication and learning errors. My hair needed immediate help, so I called the owner and looked for a second opinion and plan for how to fix my hair that was messed up the day before. When we sat down, the owner disrespected me, constantly interrupted me, and totally tried to belittle me because I wasnt the one with hair experience. After 8 hours in the salon, my hair was fixed and it finally looks good. Overall, I cant say that Ill be giving $150 again to a salon where the owner couldnt put her attitude aside to make for a more pleasant experience after an already horrible 1st experience. I left extremely angry, not that my hair was messed up, but that the owner never apologized and treated me terribly. The lack of respect was not appreciated, and I can find someone else to do just as good of a job without making the mistake on my head a prime learning experience.

Had a major disaster with my hair at another salon !! Came into Twisted Lemon and they made it look like nothing even happened ! My hair was very damaged and about at its end... Dagnee and Charlie are the best!! Recommend to everyone!

Wow so disappointed had high hopes for this I really did but unfortunatelyIt was not a good experience I feel like when you spend that kind of money to get your hair done you got to love your hair when you leave the shop I didnt not in the least I called the next morning to say so and I was told to give it a few days keep washing my hair eventually itll be the color I want and if I didnt like that to go get some clarifying shampoo and that might help why should I have to spend any more money why should I have to do anything I really feel like I should have walked out of there after spending all that money to get my hair done which by the way was a Christmas gift from my mom and she was tipped $20 my hair looks awful and her answer was for me to fix it myself basically or wait it out until I do like it I wanted brown and blonde hair and now have black and white hair which one you mix the two obviously is grey everyone around me hates it and I will not recommend this at all because I feel like when I called she should have cared that I was unhappy with my hair not recommended that I wait it out and or fix it myself its just unheard of and my hair looks terrible way worse than it did when my mom fixed it and thats the reason she sent me there was she thought she did a bad job wrong thanks so much Charlie Smith and Twisted lemon will not recommend you its a real shame that you think someone should have to wait days to have a decent hair do after coming through your salon

Charlie cut my hair a few weeks ago, it was a little different for me because usually a sylist will sit you down in the chair while your hair is dry and ask, what are you looking for today. She didnt do that, instead we went straight to the sink for a wash, which was awesome, by the way! We got back to the chair and she did exactly what I asked her to do! I can work with my hair, and Im not stuggling with it like I have at times in the past! I will go back!

Its just ok. High prices for mid-level services.
