So today i had a issue where i was getting my car towed by another company (harding towing) and they were suppose to drop the car off at a dealership that i was buying a new car at. they were suppose to pick it up at 1 and didnt get there til 3 and then went ahead and dropped it at the wrong dealership...and didnt even tell me it was dropped off so i didnt kno...anyway long story short i found out it was at the wrong place when they were all closing and it needed to be there so i could get my new car in the morning and it was all about to fail. then i was lucky enough to come across griffs towing. the tow truck driver zach called me, he was very friendly and sat on the phone with me while i explained everything that was going on he showed up almost 20min. earlier than expected and knew exactly what dealerships i meant and knew the area better than me so my awful explaining didnt slow him down he made quick work of it and got the car to the exact dealer it needed to go to before they closed literally saved my weekend from more stress couldnt be more greatful and i shoulda just called griffs from the beginning seriously thank you. you guys are top notch.

This was my first time being towed after a traffic accident, so I wasnt sure what to expect.They needed my insurance company to call and confirm coverage with them, and only took payment in cash. The business closes at 5, but they lock up the cars at 4.Wasnt too much of a hassle, just want to give other first-timers the heads up.My car got hit Saturday, they were closed until Monday morning and I finally got my car at noon. It was 189$ for the tow and the impound, then they towed it out of the lot before closing time so that AAA could come and tow it to my mechanic.Not going as high as 5, because there were a lot of hoops for me to jump through for a towing lot the police sent my car to on default. But not as low as 3 because they were friendly, and I honestly dont have the experience to judge what standard accident towing looks like.

Really happy with the service, they fixed a few issues with car and it now runs really well. I wish they wouldnt smoke in the building, its so disgusting. You go in to pick up the car and cant breathe its so completely filled with smoke. If your check out isnt super quick, you leave smelling like an ashtray, I showered as soon as I got home and had to air out my coat to get the smell out of it. They should.be more respectful of the customers and keep the smoking in the garage.

My 91 year old boyfriend, a WW11 war veteran, had to have his car towed because there were no brakes. Griffs finally called 2 days later, saying the brake line broke and gave him an estimate of $645! He got the car the next day, after being without it for 3 days, and the brakes are STILL bad, pedal going almost to the floor! So NOW they are saying it could be the master cylinder!!! I dont understand how they could return the car to him in this condition!!! Shame on Griffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mechanic Nate was upfront and honest about whether work should be performed. They dont do work based on cost but if it needs to be done.I highly recommend Griffs to anyone who needs service done on their vehicle. They even have towing and are a AAA affiliate.

We called AAA this morning because our car wouldnt start. We assumed we needed a new battery. Griffs was sent by AAA and the employee told us that a machine would tell us if it was the battery, starter or alternator. When it was ready to give a report, he held it in front of us and went through the screens, telling us that there was no problem with the battery, starter or alternator. We were very impressed with the way our problem was handled, especially as he explained the results. He jumped the existing battery and our car started. We now knew that the battery was fine and nothing else showed as a problem. A very pleasant experience!! Would not hesitate to recommend Griffs to others.

I unfortunately while backing into a street to turn around from a dead end came to close to the edge of a culvert. By to close I mean my driver rear tire missed the edge completely. The guy you sent didnt laugh at me and assessed it from all angles and had me lifted out in a jiffy. Thank you very much.

Brought my car in for service this past Wednesday. Ive been to Griffs many times in the past year, and although the mechanics and staff do a good enough job, they tend to smoke a lot of cigarettes. The whole shop smells like it. When I picked my car up, I noticed there was a heavy lingering smell this time around, whereas it normally clears in a day or so. Turns out, a cigarette butt has been chilling on my rear passenger floor. I dont smoke, and no one else has been in my car since I took it in for service.Thats just straight up unprofessional. Be better than that. Dont smoke in your customers cars.

Grifths toe truck guys are awesome.I was in an accident, and my car was totaled. I had do go get my plates and empty my car. It was cold snowy abd freezing. The young man helping me who Im,sorry I did not ger his name was so helpful without me evening asking. Thank you so much for all yoir help at a very difficult time for me.Also they toed that same car for me lasr summer when my brake line broke, from Greece, to my home in Penfield, then my car to hoselton in Fairport all at rush hour. As a AAA Member, I am able to have my vehicles towed. My Motorcycle key broke off in the ignition so I needed a tow to the mechanics. Mike from Griffs was who they sent. Mike came quickly and also did a very good job with getting the bike onto the truck, which is difficult because the forks are locked. Mike was very knowledgeable, friendly, polite & understood how much someone can care about their motorcycle. I would most definitely recommend them. Hopefully youre as lucky as I happened to be & get Mike as the driver. So to Mike, thank you! Cant wait to be back on 2 wheels & ride with my girlfriend! Doesnt get any better than that! This is an update to my review as Ive had service from Griffs again. Dylan was the one to help me this time and I have to give a big shout out to him. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had, my vehicle was towed to griffs after an accident. I paid them the $280 for it being here for 1 1/2 days. Then they wouldn’t let me go into my car, they said that I had to wait and wait and wait. Horrible service don’t make the mistake of going to here!!!!

Called AAA and told them car wouldnt start and I believed I needed a new battery because this was not the first time it happened. AAA assured me whoever they sent would have a battery with them.Griffs guy came, jumped my car and then was ready to take off before I could blink. I asked about the battery and he just said if you want a new battery you have to drive to our shop to get it. Didnt tell me the status of my current battery. Rude and poor customer service.

Running a straight fraudulent buisness in Tandom with Town of Greece Police department. If you get into an accident in Greece do NOT let them towe your vehicle. They have had an attitude every time we went to speak to them. They add insane charge by the day for keeping your vehicle hoping to get an insane pay out by the time the insurance company admitts fault or a legal battle is concluded when they dont. And then if your legal battle does not result in them getting their money they will junk your car and everything in it and claim to be assisting people.

Got into an accident and they towed my car to their lot. They refused to give me my house keys and failed to return any of my personal belongings that were in my car. This company is very unprofessional and I suggest that you take your business else where.

I had to have my A/C compresser clutch installed on a Honda CRV 2010. I called 6 places. The quotes ranged from $1,500 to $770. Griffs was the lowest. I had the car dropped off that day on Wednesday, and with the Labor day holiday coming up, he made the time to look at it Thursday, confirmed it was the clutch, replaced it, cleaned and charged my A/C system and had it finished Friday right as I was finished with work. Great garage that does good work. Ill be a repeat customer for my bigger repairs in the future. The final bill with tax on pick up with $819.50. The only thing better than that would be fixing it yourself.

Called at 5:00 for Roadside assistance and Honda Care contracted griffs to tow my vehichle. TWO AND A HALF HOURS later and Im still waiting. This will be my first and last experience with griffs automotive. Its a beautiful day out, I cant imagine too many cars are broken down or having mechanical problems like mine. 2.5 hours and they are supposed to get there within 1 hour per their agreement with Honda care unless there is imminent weather problems; clearly they are in breech of that. Now my car wont get to the Honda service center before they close, which means I will not be approved for a loaner car tonight, which means I have no way to take my 2 babies to daycare and go to work tomorrow and will have to inconvenience a family member to chauffeur us around. Not to mention my car seats are in the vehicle I left on the side of road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible customer service. I called for a tow at 7:00 p.m. and was told it might be a while, but they’d be here. Three hours later I called for an ETA and they told me they wouldn’t be coming tonight. Thanks for the call, Griff’s...would have been nice to know three hours ago. I’m now stranded with my two infants.
