Salesman told me a tire was discontinued simply to try and sell a tire he had in-stock, instead of just saying so. Went to discount tire instead and got way better deal anyway and got tires I wanted. I am in sales myself and dont like dealing with these types of sales people. Save yourself time and try discount tire

Had to take my husbands tire in to get a hole patched up. He dropped it off that morning and I got a call around 11am that it was already done!!! They were so kind and professional. I have been to Joe’s twice and both times I have had very good experiences. The employee who I checked in with, Jason, was very friendly and precautious, covid-wise. I really like that I can schedule an appointment on their website. They also send you your inspections to your email, so you can instantly look up the last time you had your oil changed or whatever. It seems like they have everything figured out over there.

It was my first-time at Joes Auto. I had appointment and coupon. They were friendly, polite and communicated the conditions of the coupon beforehand. The service was great. An email of inspection listed what was good and what was needed. They wore masks and sanitized my keys before handing to me.

I was blown away by the quality of service at Joes. I got a coupon in mail, so I decided to check out this shop when my car is due for oil change. I had concerns with the uneven idling of my engine; Kelly was very professional and patient in hearing all my concerns, and documenting that for the mechanicians.The most amazing thing about this place is that they provide a _very_ detailed report in email, with actual photos of my car parts, brief paragraphs explaining their functions, and if they need immediate attention. This is the first time Ive seen a report like this. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate that report, as I was able to make very informed decisions, even though I am not in the know-hows of cars.

Had my truck towed in unannounced because it died while I was driving to work. Even though the shop seemed very busy (lots of cars in the lot and in the shop) they were able to get my truck in and fixed the same day. I was also impressed with their inspections they sent to my phone and email. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone seemed knowledgeable and wasnt too pushy even though there were several items my truck needed addressing. Overall very impressed with Joes and will be visiting again in the future!

I have never had an issue in getting work completed on good time, or needing to return. The staff is knowledgeable and straightforward. I always refer friends to this shop.

Excellent customer service every time I visit Joe’s. They have great friendly staff, and help get what I need done. My vehicle was done with no problems and they did an awesome job! Definitely would recommend.

Inspection was thorough, great use of technology and communication, repair was prompt, and Im sure workmanship was good, even got me a shuttle home when I dropped off my car. HOWEVER... got called that repairs were finished, I specifically asked what time closing was since I tend to work into the evening. Told them I would probably be coming in that evening to pick up my car around 5:30, for sure arriving before 6. I get done with work and literally run with my dog the mile and a half to the shop in the sub-zero temperatures, fully expecting to warm up for a few minutes inside while paying before hopping in my car where the heat now works, so I can pick up my wife on time from work. I get to the door at precisely 5:41PM, and the shop is a ghost town. Doors locked, lights off, parking lot empty, everyone long gone. I call the multiple numbers, no answers. Not only that, but my car is parked for the night and still unlocked with a few hundred dollars of other parts for repair, and other personal items of value. I then have to finish my Ice Bowl 5K run back to my house, ending with frostbite thanks to my Raynauds, my dog getting a bloody paw from 3 miles on snow and ice, and having to explain to my wife that she isnt making set up for the kids Christmas event she is helping with and the friends we were driving there are SOL. But the sometimes we bug out early, whoops and 10% off when I explained all this the next day REALLY smoothed the whole thing over for me.

I brought my vehicle in for an electrical diagnostics/battery charging/alternator issue. After the diagnostics they found everything at the time to be working order. This was an unscheduled appointment which didn’t allow for a deep dive for other possibilities for intermittent operation issues. They sent me on my way with no charge.

Could not have been happier with the service. Had my daughters car in for an inspection that had multiple issue corrected. Staff was clear with what needed to be done immediately and what could wait for a future visit. Digital inspections were a plus with clear explanations of repair recommendations. Will be back for future visits and would recommend to anyone!

Had to drive home an hour after visiting my daughter and a signal went off telling me my tires were not good. The nearest place was Joe’s so I pulled in and was treated great! Checked all my tires and made sure they had the right amt of air and sent me on my way. I was so impressed with the service and kind words. Thanks!

Got a transmission flush a year ago and all my fluid leaked out, the bolts on my transmission pan were loose. Thank God I didnt fry my transmission, because I noticed it acting funny and checked it.

Working with Jayson at Joes Auto & Tire was on the best experiences Ive had. He is easy to communicate with and takes time to explain what was all done on your vehicle. I needed my car back by a certain time and he was able to accommodate that. I would not recommend anywhere else but Joes Auto & Tire! They are truly the best!

I have recently moved to the area and needed a repair on my Acuras power steering line. I spoke with Matt over the phone to get a price and had a few questions on the repair. He was very helpful by explaining things to a person who doesnt know much about cars. After calling around to other shops I found they were not the cheapest shop in town, but the help over the phone is what won my business. They had my car back to me when promised and the service in person was just as good as over the phone! Joes has certainly won my business and will be back in the future!!

Since moving to Rochester I have made the decision to take my vehicles to Joes. Their honesty in telling you what needs to be done and what can wait is much appreciated.I had a truck and car and decided to sell the truck. Matt printed out a sheet that showed the repairs and maintenance that had been completed over the years. The place I took the truck for a cash buy out was impressed with that and I think it helped me get a better offer.

It’s so easy getting my trucks serviced every time and once greeted by the most hospitalable service advisor ever every time, I receive excellent thorough reports with a prompt follow up call from a knowledgeable Ford-certified advisor who helps me break down my repairs in a way that fits my budget. She asks questions to understand how my trucks are used to make sure my down-time is minimized when my trucks are in the shop and has even lent me her personal vehicle in a pinch. Great place to take your vehicle for regular maintenance, diagnostics, or major repairs. The staff at Joes are extremely kind and knowledgeable- perfect for someone like me who doesnt know a lot about cars. The team explains repairs in basic terms and discusses pricing prior to performing a repair. They provide transportation to and from the shop as needed and are usually able to get me in the same day.In addition, I love their oil changes! They provide a packet or PDF of your vehicles condition after doing a full inspection. The packet is super easy to follow and contains pictures of your car to view where the repair(s) are needed. Of course, they do not pressure you into doing all the repairs, but will explain if something is crucial.Overall a fantastic shop!

Joes in such a trustworthy shop! I had a series of flat tires which required a couple times of towing. Since I have a busy work schedule, I just left the keys in my car at home and Joes towed when I wasnt there. They are ALWAYS 100% honest about what needs to be done and what can wait. I had a vehicle that needed extensive repairs, but the condition of the vehicle was poor; Joes said they didnt feel right doing extensive repairs, but did recommend dealerships. Came in from Wisconsin on a 4 hour drive. Unloaded my tools and went to start my van. My fuel pump had died. Called 15 other repair shops with no luck before Friday.Talked to Jason at Joes and was told they could help. 4.5 hours later and 2 courtesy shuttles to and from our hotel and the van was done!I wasnt price gouged for being a Packer fan and my faith in there being decent people has been upheld.Thanks Joes auto and tire!!!!!!

I took my car in to get a coolant leak looked at and they called me back and quoted me $900 to fix it. Before I took it in I already had an idea of the problem and looked up the part online. The part was less than $100, few other little parts need like hose clamps and some coolant so maybe a grand total of $150 in parts. It is an easier job I could probably do it at home having some beers and get it done in less than 2 hours. Called the dealership and they would do the whole things parts, labor and everything else for less than $300. Would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE they wanted to charge me over $600 more than the dealer. They over charge by hundred and hundreds of dollars that probably are unneeded expenses

I normally do most of my own work because I havent found many places that trust to really pay attention to the details until I tried Joes Auto & Tire. Their fast, friendly service and competent techs won me over. They took me right out to my car and showed me what was actually wrong with it. I like that. Their prices are very competitive and the repairs are timely. Keep doing what you are doing Joes and Ill keep coming back; and Ill recommend you to family and friends.

Once again Joes comes through with honesty and competence. After having run into a gas stations protruding manhole cover and the large bang that ensued, Joes did a thorough once-over. They had it for several hours, checked it out completely and found nothing wrong. They gave me a ride to work, finished it quickly and charged me nothing. I am a repeat customer, but still this is good old-fashioned service--the kind that is rapidly disappearing from our American way of life.

Very informative and helpful mechanic shop. Not only do they tell you when something is wrong, they describe what is wrong to you so you can make an informative decision. All work is done in a timely fashion. Constantly have deals and coupons to use at their shop once you become a customer. Have no complaints.

After being quoted $680 wo tax for Rotors, brake pads and Calipers(overpriced as it is), they racked up another hundred dollars for “shop fees, parts, tools”??? That’s the last time we go to these con artists. Buyer be ware!

Just spoke to the owner Joe. I was impressed he answered the phone himself but went way downhill after that.I asked for a price on brakes he went into a big story that place giving brake prices over the phone did not know what they were doing. He said come in for Free Inspection and they will pull all the wheels off and then give a price. This is border line scamming of getting someone in the shop with all the wheels off their car and then give them the choice of whether to do it or not! :))))He was condescending and even rude when I asked him to please price the least expensive brake service and then if we run into something else we could handle it then. He said we are probably not your place to have it done. That they only do it the right way as if the right way was not the least expensive way.I have sent many people to Joes as I was impressed when I went in one time with my daughter. Something has really changed! I will NOT refer anymore.Maybe Joe needs to go back to his desk and OFF the phones!

Mechanics are scary because we have no idea what theyre talking about. If they say Yeah you need this $3000.00 repair or your car will blow up, we basically believe them. And most mechanics and auto repair places know that. And theyre happy to take advantage of customers. We had a mechanic we knew and trusted in Ohio, but we just moved to Rochester, MN recently and were really worried that wed get taken advantage of. Then we found Joes Auto & Tire, and met Matt Williams along with the rest of the team. Matt and the technicians who assessed and repaired our vehicle were EXCELLENT. They explained things very clearly, and gave us honest insight as to what really needed to be repaired. They did a great job helping us keep our costs down. They even broke the job down in to sections. Most places would just say You need *this* done. But at Joes, the team said You need *this* done. But *this* is really 4 things. And you can get away with just doing two of those things. We were blown away. The professionalism, cleanliness, efficiency, honesty, partnership and results were all above and beyond our expectations. Really a great place with honest people. If youre unsure about trusting mechanics and auto repair places, then go to Joes and just let them know: Im not rich and I need to keep my costs down. But my car needs work and I want to be safe. Help! Then rest assured that they heard you. Because they do.

These guys are awesome! They know their stuff! I was here at Mayo and needed an alignment but they found a wobbly ball joint and fixed everything. Matt showed me the issue on the computer so I could understand and explain it to my husband. My husband called our trusted mechanic back home who said he would charge exactly the same! I have been going here for a couple years and my vehicles have never had huge issues as they stay on top of it all at my routine oil changes. Had great experience all the way through from making the appointment to them finishing. They came and talked to me about my car as the mechanic was finishing up, and then had paper work ready and it was that easy. They made it very comfortable to wait in the lobby so I didnt feel I needed to just drop my car off and leave.

I rarely write reviews but Joes Auto Care deserves one. Jason and Kyle at the front desk have been great to work with and always provide a thorough description of the proposed work. I really trust that the mechanics at Joes are doing honest work at a fair price. I have never had any difficulty getting my car in for an appointment and the work has always been completed the same day. The complementary transportation to and from work is also a great convenience.

Joes regularly services (and repairs, when needed) our 2008 Jeep Patriot and 1998 BMW 528i. As different as the two cars are, the staff at Joes are always tuned in to the particular needs of each.Ive purchased tires from them, too, and was very satisfied with the experience, including nitrogen fills, wheel balancing, and suspension alignment.Recently, I had an issue with one of my windshield wiper blades -- it just stopped rotating -- and I took it in to Joes on my lunch hour. Within five minutes, they had fixed it and I was on my way. Luckily, it was an easy repair, but they immediately knew what to look for.They do good work, keep their facilities very clean and comfortable, and in my experience, respect the intelligence and insight of all customers, both men and women.

Finding a dependable auto shop in a new location can be difficult. The solid reviews I found online were not overstated and I wanted to reiterate the positive reviews for others. Ive had a few issues with my vehicle and each time Joes has fixed the problem in a timely fashion. When getting routine services performed, they are very courteous about mentioning other services your vehicle may need. The pushy, salesman type mentality Ive encountered at other auto shops I find very distasteful and is another reason I feel most comfortable taking my vehicle to Joes.

My wife and I were recently in the market for a quality used vehicle, but aren’t extremely mechanically inclined like most of the car driving public. Knowing that used vehicles can have a plethora of problems we wanted to make sure it had a quality inspection prior to spending any money. We had heard many positive reviews from other people about Joe’s Auto so we decided to give them a call to see if they would complete an inspection for us. Fast forward 1 week and not only was the inspection completed, but the manager at Joe’s Auto communicated with the dealership we were purchasing from on numerous different occasions to make sure the issues with our future used vehicle were taken care of. The inspection was extremely helpful, and we were provided with a detailed printout of the positive and negative aspects of the vehicle we were looking at. At the end of the week we were able to walk away feeling extremely comfortable purchasing a used vehicle that we previously knew nothing about. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to Joe’s Auto in the future.

The technitions do outstanding work on my vehicles, Matt is awesome to work with in the office and the entire team keeps finding ways to exceed my expectations. Highly recommended. They can give you a detailed report (they emailed mine) from their inspection complete with pictures and useful information and links about any issues. And then when I called, he took the time to explain everything to me. They are fair, helpful and respectful. They talked to me like a person and answered all of my questions. They went out of their way to be fair and honor the estimate they gave. They not only fixed my car, but helped me prevent further damage. My repairs were much less expensive than other places even though they found problems the other places missed. They steered me away from unnecessary repairs. The work was done when they said it will be done. They told me ahead of time when parts needed to be ordered. Highly recommended! Seriously. Just call them and you will be able to tell right away. I could tell from my first contact with Jaysen over there that they were going to treat me right. And they did. And everyone I worked with there was great, too.

Was quoted 900$ for spark plugs and EVT solenoids. Had the Chevy dealership do the same job for 550$. Joes tried to offer to do just the solenoids for 550$ (which is outrageous) and that means they would be doing the spark plugs on a 4-cylinder Chevy for 350$!Was still charged 150$+tax for the diagnostic (75$) and then to put it back together (75$).

I took my vehicle in for break repair and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to drop of my vehicle that morning and it was ready for pickup the same day. I have been very happy with all the work they have done on my vehicle this past year. I would highly recommend them to my friends.

Ive been taking my Prius to Joes for about 5 years now. I find the service always friendly and thorough. I trust that my vehicle is in good hands when I bring it in for maintenance. Having two locations is excellent as well as the perks like the oil change punch card. I highly recommend Joes for anyone who wants a great neighborhood shop!

I had a flat tire. I showed up without appointment.They had someone come out right away and take a look at it freezing cold weather. They took care of my car within minutes.Instead of making money by telling me my tire is bad, they diagnosed and fixed the flat.Great experience... Wonderful staff... And well needed warm coffee.Thanks

We take 2 cars to Joes for regular service and have always had good experiences. Generally I speak with Jason. He has always taken the time to explain in detail why he would or would not recommend a service. Although I do think they are a little spendy, I appreciate their honesty and that to me is worth a lot!

Excellent customer service. Went in for an oil change and a faulty temperature gauge. They repaired it efficiently and offered helpful advice on future care for my car. Their friendliness and the speediness of the repairs will keep me coming back.

This was my first experience with Joes Auto Care. Had headlight changed today. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Repairs were explained in detail with approximate cost of repairs discussed prior to service provided. Repairs were completed within the anticipated timeframe. Excellence customer service. I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Recently I brought my 2006 Honda van to Joes for some substantial routine maintenance needs. These included timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, new filters, and a serpentine belt. Because these services are costly by nature, I talked with several auto service places and asked a lot of questions. Although I have had no previous experience with this shop, I noticed that Joes was top rated on Angies list. When I called I was impressed that Joe spoke to me directly and spent over 30 minutes on the phone patiently and professionally explaining how he would handle the service, what specific parts he would use, and why he uses them. His attention to detail and desire to perform quality labor and service were evident through the many detailed answers he gave to my many questions. And the cost estimate for these services was competitive to others I received. I ended up choosing Joes for the service and what was promised was delivered. Kyle at the service desk was great, and shuttle ride from Mr. Peter was a delight.

Run away far far away brought them a running car left by tow truck!! Took them my car for water pump made it 3 weeks brought back to fix same water pump they replaced then couldnt get car started so be another day almost two weeks later they tell me I have broken rockers its not there fault.So insisted to talk to owner Joe he is some thing Arrogant and likes to hear himself talk he told me that it just happens and its bad luck for me and it would cost me more to look more into it

Kyle and the Team at Joes Auto care are so nice and friendly. They provide 5 star service and the nice thing is they provide rides to and from work so its easy to have your car taken care of while you are at work. They are trustworthy and thats why I continue going to them.
