They are rude. When i ask for specific designs. Instead of saying they dont know how to do it,they say im picky. They are very unprofessional. I dont recommend anyone use them. You pay them and they expect to do what they want and not give u what u pay for. I tried them several times. I wont give them anymore of my money. I dont recommend u do either.

I love the way all the techs have their own technique but at the same time all the work comes out equally amazing. They are also patient with my picky daughter that comes in to get her nails done occasionally.

Not impressed! Went in on a Wednesday and by the next Wednesday I was on antibiotics. All I wanted was my refund and the copay! $55. She said she could fix it. Only a doctor could. Offered a discount pedicure. Not! To get another infection? Dont waste your time. #NoLinersNoService #Sanitation

Clean and quiet facility, decent and friendly staff. Had to wait a bit since there were only two people on staff, but it was ok. Did an awesome job on my pedicure! Will be back again.

I have been here many times over the past 5 years but hadnt been back since I moved. I have gone to other places but none have compared to the service I used to get at shiny nails. When I went in today, it was nearing the end of the day but I figured that there was still plenty of time left to get my nails done, and hey, they were still open! With over half an hr till closing time! During the gel fill that I asked for, the gal was nice but very rushed. My nails were never cut back and after putting the gel on, my nails were never put under the if lights to cure.. After I washed my hands (without soap, as instructed), my nails were not dry enough to put the polish on.. She did anyways and it all had to be removed because it bubbled. She immediately put more polish on which still didnt go on even and just painted over it. Before we even started, I had asked for a design on 2 fingers.. I never got that as she just put the top coat on and sent me on my way. I had also asked to have my eyebrows waxed and had to remind her that I still needed that service and she had already included that in the total cost of the services I had gotten. 9 hrs post manicure and I have already broken 3 nails while doing things such as opening a shampoo bottle in the shower, and bumping the milk jug in my fridge with the corner of another nail.. Im not usually one to complain but if I wanted my nails to be this fragile, I would have saved myself over $40, 2 hrs drive time round trip and another hr in the salon! I am more than disappointed! I think that the old owners need to come back or at least bring in a manicurist who knows what they are doing so that I can have a manicure that lasts more than 8-9 hrs! I will not be returning (except to have my nails repaired, hopefully correctly this time)!

I usually have great service. However, the shop closes at 5. I arrived at 4:15 and i was told they were closed and was sent walkung. Im a regular and i drive 30 plus minutes for service. Rude!

My pedicurist Lilly is such an awesome person. She takes her time and makes sure you are relaxed. She takes pride in what she does.

Called and asked them if they did coffin nails she said yes made them aware I was coming I get there one to service me Ill take my money somewhere else . With my fullset design and predicure I know I would if spend at least 175 I spend that money on someone who wants to work

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Bichdan (Katie) on April this year. I told her exactly what I wanted but got something completely different. She made them uneven, with thick strokes and much thicker than I wanted. Right after the procedure, I told her they were too thick. She told me to give it some time, they were swollen, the color would fade and I would get used to them. But I didn’t. After couple months, when I asked her to fix them, she wanted to charge me again, for a new procedure. I even tried to reason with her, but no success. This is an expensive procedure! So I told her that if I had to pay to get them fixed I would look for a better professional.That’s when I found ANOTHER TECHNICIAN in Midlothian, who offers an EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, FAIR PRICING and HIGH LEVEL PROFESSIONALISM. She gave me a free consultation and I got my eyebrows fixed yesterday.

USED to be a great nail salon, I started coming about a year ago when they had JUST changed management. The new owner was so kind and thorough she introduced me to SNS/dip powder nails and ALWAYS filed them perfect. I stopped coming because she got too busy and was never avail at the time I usually came in and unfortunately her niece Tammy would have to do my nails, very sweet girl but did my nails HORRIBLY each time. ( lumpy, filed incorrectly, uneven, burned nail bed,) so after the 3rd time I stopped coming here. I had no other option a week ago, I stopped in and unfortunately only the niece was avail. I gave her a shot, hoping she had improved in the past 7 months and although she HAD, her professionalism went DOWN, not as polite as before, they NOW CHARGE EXTRA for longer nails, EXTRA FOR STILETTO SHAPE?!?, NO MANICURE, No lotion, oil only ( and no wash ?!?) ALL for $45. They never charged for this before nor did they tell me about the change until after, THIS IS Not good business, other places charge $35 for the works...I’ll stick with them. (SEE PICS)

They gave me the chrome ? polish as a senior complementary service this time because Im going on a job interview. I love it!

My name is Jennifer and I absolutely LOVE Shiny Nails!! Unlike the negative review left a couple of months ago, I have had nothing BUT GREAT visits and superior results every time that I go. I had been a regular customer when the previous owners had it many years ago, but had alot of problems with my nails with that particular ownership so I just started back a few months ago. I will not go anywhere else now!! They have completely repaired damage to my nail beds done by 2 previous nail salons and I am a HUGE fan of the SNS powder. If you havent tried it yet, I highly recommend it. The cost is the same or close to plain old acrylic which is tough on your nails and leaves your nails feeling soft and flimsy when its removed. Katie and Tammy are EXCELLENT and I have never felt rushed (yes, I too, have gone in close to closing time), they are always very friendly and professional and I would recommend them to everyone.

I went to get a pedicure and was told to come back later. I dont think so, First nails took care of me instead.
