I have a shop about 3 blocks from tows r us. One of my customers made the mistake of legally parking his ML320 in front of my neighbor Signature Paint and Body shop whose manager had mistakenly summoned a tow truck from “tows r us”. I called and discussed this with the owner “Russ”, who informed me we could get it back for $288.00. When the ML320 owner and I attempted to retrieve the car they wouldn’t give it back because the ML is registered in his wife’s name. A notorized form is required they said. This conversation with the the clerk at tows r us happened at about 3:00PM, and my customer was unable to get the form turned back to Russ til after 6 PM since he had to drive back to San Clemente, pick up his wife, drive to a Notary. Since the tow yard is closed Saturday and Sunday for some reason, the charges will now be escalated $60.00 a day equals, bringing a Grand Total $400.00. Thanks a lot “Russ”.

Worse customer service from a company. Called to get a quote for service and guy who answered does nothing but joke around.

This is a good company. The one star reviews are from people who parked illegally and thought they could get away with it. Or they live in an HOA with a ton of parking rules and thought the rules didnt apply to them. Snowflakes either way.Oh, and the city sets the towing fees. They are charging what they are supposed to.

So I was wondering and parked my car in back of the owners garage when I come to find out, 30 minutes later my car was gone. Went to the location, told them I had a sign in front of my dashboard but still, they didnt listen. Idk why it cost more to leave the car there at night then the morning, maybe to screw people over Im sure. I called a an hour later during that day to make sure I was informed with the right directions, sounded like an older lady, she gave me an attitude which I didnt like. Next morning picked up my car. The lady that was working there was nice but took forever to get my far. At the end of this I ended up paying 288, my work did not cover this which sucked!

This company should have double-checked before unlawfully towing my motorcycle...

Wow this is one of the weirdest tow yards I have ever been to I showed up with my friends dad after have to find out any Orange County Sheriff had to tow cause he or she thought it was used in the crime so they took it and the one thing was it had no way to take what was stolen patently cause his truck has a 5th wheel not a trailer hitch and when we asked how the tow yard got it or who called on it they said they couldnt give out that info when it was on private property so I guess Orange county sheriffs a lot to do whatever they want huh so its just totally are pretty weird they could at least not have made us pay over 500 bucks to get it back out since it wasnt even using a crime

Im not sure why this company has to lie about its procedures, but they do. When they came to tow my truck, they used something to access the inside (Im assuming to take the emergency brake off), they dented my door, and damaged my door lock actuator, as well as the window switches which I found on my floorboard. After getting the run around for weeks, I was told to take the truck to the yard for them to see the damage, but when I got there, I again got the run around until finally someone came out to take a few pictures and tell me that Russ would call me.... well, he called. He stated that he himself was the one who towed my vehicle, and that he never accessed the inside of the truck. LIE. It was in my driveway with the emergency brake ON, and the wheels turned. None the less, I now have a damaged vehicle, with no offer to fix the damage I am 100% certain Russ caused.

I had parking permit on my car where they need to be park in side of community. But they towed my car. I spend $350 to get my car released plus my time and schedule. When I get my car out, I asked to casher Is there any report or documentation about what cause by whom to authorize to remove my car. So Im writting a letter to this tow company to requesting the all the paperwork they have to have & need to providr to the owner of the vehicle. In case car was removed from private property. If they cant provide or prove of car was tow by following the legal procedure.

I bought a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck here. The truck didnt have a scratch on it, it runs great, & I got a great deal. Ask for Bernard. Hes a real pro who wont steer you wrong.

I know they hate their job but they don’t have to take it on people. My car was stolen and later found at a private property and towed by this company. I had to pay almost 300 to get it back! Keep in mind it was not overnight! It was towed the same day and went as soon as possible. Aside from that I asked politely if they have a payment option and the guy with glasses started to be rude about it. Then he proceeded and asked me if I was a US citizen and if I am I should get that the stimulus check so I should be able to pay for it. This place will rip you off and you can tell they need to tow cars in order to stay in business.

9this company is so evil i cant put into words they illegaly towed my carfrom aprivate comunity and when management of the property was asked if they had done it they said no so tell me why my car was towed cause it was parked legally . i hope you close permanantley because thievery is illegal and u belong in jail.

Very nice people. They towed my car after my wife and son were in an accident.

My wife doesnt follow directions when parking and got towed. As much as it sucks, we didnt have any problems getting our car back from these guys. It was pretty pricey esp if you go on the weekends, but no complaints here.

Called the place in advance and the man had said I can save $100 if I come before 8 AM. I show up before 8 AM and the women at the front desk clarifies that I will OWE a $100 before 8 AM. They had me sit in their dirty break room for an hour while I waited until 8:00 AM while four of the employees working were chatting. After an hour finally rolls by they charge me for my tow fee. Took the same lady a total of 5 MINs. Petty. Mean. Zero customer service.

Legalized extortion. I got nothing good to say about someone who picks this as a profession or chooses this as a business run, but i just forked out 400 to get my truck back.

Got to the little window to pick up the car around 7pm, a sound from the back office yelled be right there! 30 seconds later this big lady showed up at the window and I told her Im here to pick up my car.She: what car?I replied her with the license plate numberShe opened her eyes big and gave me a look, then put down the pen the WALKED AWAYI had no clue what was that for but just wait at the window.She came back again after about 30 secs and asked again WHAT CAR? with also a louder voice, of course.I hesitated to answer her right away because I dont know what kind of info does she need??!! She did not like my license plate number last time. I replied her with the color and the make of my car. Apparently she did not like this either because she gave me another dirty look with an attitude.Out of no where I dont know how to answer this lady now. We went back and forth for a couple of sentences saying why dont you tell me what you need to know? I already told you the license plate, told you the make and the color of the car, what else are u asking for??The lady just yelled back and kept saying something like I ASKED YOU WHAT CAR IF YOU WANT, I CAN HAVE THIS GOING FOR 12 HOURS and she ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN and WALKED AWAY.My husband in the back ask me whats going on, why do I have to talk so loud? I told him the lady is not happy with the answer of WHAT CAR and kept rolling her eyes on me and walked away!!! She heard me in the back office and murmur and yelled back I have to go back to the window 3 times! oh and she is still talking!!!!! Oh my god with high pitched screams and weird laughs.It was really creepy when I heard she was doing that in the back office.I picked up my phone and called the office wishing to speak to someone else who could actually help instead of keep rolling eyes with attitude and walking away. Sure it was the big lady picked up the phone and greeted with mad voice, she didnt know it was me yet. I asked her politely what other information are you asking? Is Jim or Russ here? She just went crazy and yelled back something like yup its still me and you are not getting anyone else here, Im the only one here so please hold.... and SLAMMED the phone! Remember we were still at the yard, standing outside of the little window, she just had to to yell and slam the phone!!!She intentionally made us wait for like 2 mins while she was screaming and murmuring in the back. Third time she came to the window, I was going to let my husband deal with her because me and this lady was not communicating. She came back with her cell phone on hand recording, luckily, so were we! This time she finally asked the question to the point--WHAT CITY IS YOUR CAR (with no grammar but the key point is CITY) Finally we get what she was asking for!!!!!! Hey, if you dont ask the right question, why are you mad and yelled at your customer??I asked for her name, she wasnt telling and moved her recording phone trying to cover the name on shirt. I saw it, SHANNON.She was being sarcastic later on about the car registration and my ID by saying assuming you are the registered owner, this is your charge. What do you mean by assuming, Shannon?! Of course she intentionally ran the credit card for like 5 mins in the back office while complaining and yelling. Remember she said earlier that she could have this going on for 12 hours, guess she is just taking her time.If Jim or Russ is reading this review, or even care about the company, please go review the surveillance tape as it supposedly to be recording 24 hours a day. Everything should be on tape and you would know how your employee treats people.There is a sign in the back says Attitude is everything, pick a good one! How funny is that with the attitude I received???This kind of service should not exist, seriously.

Based on my experience with one of their drivers, I would strongly discourage others from supporting this business. He was rude, dishonest, patronizing, and would not or rather could not give a single straight answer for why my car was being towed. Even after agreeing to pay a fee to unload my car, the driver tried to take off while I stepped back in my house to grab my wallet. Fortunately, the security guard that patrols our neighborhood was there to witness the event and stop him. Grubbing, conniving thieves, lowest of the low!

These people are money hungry animals who prey on the poor. My car was towed from a parking lot where my mother lives because I was parked in the visitor parking. I take full responsibility for parking there and getting my car towed who is my fault. But when I went to the tow yard did you retrieve my vehicle the attendant or driver ripped the part of the paperwork off that he got out of my glove box that had my name on it and said this in your car buddy just so I have to go down to the DMV and get the right paperwork even though the right paperwork was already there he was just trying to delay my car being released so he could collect money for another day fortunately for me I successfully retrieved copies of the paperwork and had my car released. Beware dont park parking spot where you require a permit in the Anaheim Orange area cuz tows R Us will try to keep your car for as long as they can so they can fill their pockets with cash

There are legal thieves. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They must be in cahoots with the police station. Maybe related to have that deal. I know karma is a mofo it will get back to them

So my car gets towed. Okay not really their fault. But the problem I had with them is dishonesty and they were extremely rude. So unhelpful. I asked for a manager and in the same sentence the guy goes “she’s on the phone” and then proceeds to tell me “she’s at a doctors appointment”. So what is it?? Just stay away from these people.

I should have called 911 on the tow truck driver this morning! Tailgating me about 1ft behind me on the freeway is never acceptable. More so, he got so close that his headlights disappeared for about 5 seconds because my trunk was blocking headlights. trying to push me out of my way only endangers lives and this driver showed his true colors. This driver for Tows R Russ has absolutely no respect for my life & others around him as he drives on the freeway. This guy must believe that he is more important than anybody else driving on the road since he drives a big tow truck. This needs his commercial license revoked!! Im going to file a complaint with the DMV and another regulatory agencies against them. I will keep everybody posted during the process.

Was helped by a magnificent human being called Derrick, not only was he a master of the arts at towing but he was also one of the most down to earth person Ive met in a long time. If you ever need towing assistance make sure to call Tows R Russ, and ask for Derrick, dudes legit.

The people were straight forward and polite. 5/5 would not want to be towed again but if I did, sure please tow with tows r us.

Took a friend to pick up his car and he was in and out inside 10 minutes not sure how long these things usually take but I expected longer. Good job.
