Tony and his staff are amazing. I came in today and got to experience the new massage chairs and dryer for my nails. It’s amazing. It was comfortable and so relaxing. I definitely recommend this salon. Excellent service

Let me preface with Im a licensed beauty professional and my service was not the most sanitary. Tools being pulled from a one of those makeup boxes. Not labeled whether or not they’re sanitized. The pumice she used looks as if it’s been used for several service and it’s one of the disposable ones. Tools box is dirty. The service itself is rushed. Not to mention they have the jet pedicure chairs and they don’t use the plastic covers. Would not recommend getting a service there. The only reason I didn’t get up and walk out is because as a service provider myself I’d feel bad. Giving 2 stars because she gave an amazing leg massage and all and all my pedicure looks good.

I received services for acrylic nail removal and a manicure. The man that provided the service to be did a rush job. Even the polishing was tacky.

Best acrylic nail application I have ever seen done on my daughters nails. They are thin like real nails not thick and chunky. Thank you Tony! We will come back, again and again!!

I never write reviews but this place is a gem. I just had the best pedicure and gel manicure by Lily and I must admit, I’m a very particular person and know exactly what I want. She wasn’t afraid to really get in there and gave me the best massage on my legs and feet with her little hands. Lily was amazing!!!! So sweet and took care of exactly what I needed! I will definitely go back!

The staff was very friendly but the pedicure was probably the worst iv ever had. it was rushed and not clean. the pumice used was a disposable but had been previously used. as a nail tech i’m trained to notice these thing and the tools, there was no saying if they were clean or not. the tools and files were pulled from a box that had very obviously used tools files buffers etc. during the cuticle maintenance my cuticle was cut and the tech did not say anything to me or even put a septic cleaner on it. it was ignored. the hot stone massage was too rough quick and the tech used their nails against my skin. very uncomfortable. the polish was a choppy job and wasn’t cured all the way.

Love Tony he does a great job with my pedicures. I forgot the other girls name thats normally working but she does a good job also.

I was referred to this nails salon and to Miss. Lily by a friend and let me tell you Lily is fantastic. She was so kind and even took her time to do my nails. I really liked the shape of my nails and she painted my nails perfectly. She did awesome job! Highly recommended this place!

I absolutely adore Mr. Tony and crew, theyre always SUPER sweet, respectful and deliver!! The looks!! My acrylics are always looking sharp and he has a great technique on getting them nice and thin for a natural non-chunky look. Big tip: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! Theyre extremely popular for a reason, so their walk-ins are always popping off, be considerate and book ahead of time on a weekday.

The staff is kind and friendly. The place is clean, the prices are reasonable. They have a beautiful selection of nail polish colors. Ive been coming here since January and each visit has been great!

The front on the store was nice but the back where waxing is done is pretty much a broom closet. I decided to just do it since it’s a simple wax. BAD IDEA. The owner burnt me and the next day I had a huge red sore on my face. So I went back to express how terrible I look and asked for my money back. The employees already apologized and said that it was indeed a burn. But the owner said not to get my lip waxed anymore because I have sensitive skin??? That’s ridiculous. He should have apologized for being negligent and not knowing how to wax properly. This never happens at any other salon.He gave me my cash and carried on without a care

Came here with my wife, brother, and sister for my wife birthday. We did couples pedicures! Amazing customer experience! Omg Mr Tony not only took 4 people at a last minute appointment but made all of us feel welcome. My wife was so excited for the experience and respect that was given. We asked a request and they did it without attitude! So impressed! Will be back when visiting Richmond! #1 Choice

I was visiting family in Richmond and decided to give this place a chance. Although it seemed to be clean, not all staff are really skilled as they should be. I had a manicure and pedicure, both done very poorly.I had to consistently tell the lady what to do and how to cut the nail. She basically cut to deep, to hard or not enough at all on both hands and feet. She gave a massage that was nice but I would rather she taken the time to get my nails correct. Im still correcting errors tonight and thats the reason I decided to write. It does not look like i even went to the salon.

Ive been going to Fantastique for years and have always been very happy. Tony and his staff are all so kind and give a great manicure and pedicure. Treat yourself to a deluxe pedicure sometime you will be very happy you did!!

I shopped around awhile before I found this place! It’s a no-frills place in a strip mall, but they do the best job with my nails, consistently. They were even able to fix a botched acrylic mani from another salon! Lily is awesome.

Tony did a good job. MY SNS nails look very nice. Another person did my my toes and it was okay. I repainted my toes when I arrived home. I waited for 30 min to get my nails done after my pedicure. I was very upset because Tony took a new customer in front of me while I was waiting. Disappointing, hence 3 stars.

I loved going to this salon when i lived in Richmond! They were always friendly and took me right away. Every technician I had was great. When Im in the area, this is my first choice!

Today I came here for manicure for the first time. I had an appointment at 5 pm, but the staff was busy, and I was told to wait. I said that I had an appointment and have no time to wait. Then Tony took care of me. He rushed through the manicure, and it was even painful sometimes. There were other people waiting with appointments, and they clearly didn’t have enough employees. The nails came out okay, but I don’t think I’m coming back next time here.

Have had multiple manicures/pedicures in the salon in the past year. staff is friendly and professional. Service is first rate. everything you would want in a nail salon/spa. Very clean. Very comfortable. Nice decor and atmosphere.

Lily is a fantastic nail tech. She does a great job and us so sweet to chat with. The spa is very clean and one of the few Ive found that carry Shellac brand polish.

Tony always knows how to treat my beat up feet and make them look great. I work in a restaurant so my feet suffer the impact of been standing up all day and Tony takes my week away in an hour. I always get the deluxe spa pedicure and they work fast but good enough to relax me.

I needed a quick fill in before graduation on Friday and Im very disappointed. Thank goodness my nails look decent. But this was an awful experience. First of all I was not greeted when I arrived nor did they ask what I needed done. They have a very limited selection of gel colors. Lily started doing my nails and after she took the color off Tony took over. I told him about a nail that was coming off and I needed it replaced before he started. He rolled his eyes and asked where I got my nails done before. For the rest of the session he grunted, shook his head, and criticized how my nails looked which was extremely disrespectful. When he was filing and buffing my nails he was very aggressive. I was in physical pain from him grabbing and twisting my fingers. I left the salon with two cuts on my fingers. To top off the bad experience he fell asleep painting my nails which is by far the most unprofessional thing Ive ever seen. The looks of my nails are sub-par, the atmosphere of the salon is negative, and the service I received was unacceptable. I do not recommend this salon at all... Even if youre desperate.

I stumble across this location while I. The area. I wish I wouldnt have spent my last 5 years in Richmond around the VCU area getting my nails done. This spot has completely sold me as a customer. Regular Pedicure was great, SO relaxing I was dozing off.They use hot stones and give you close to a 5 minute massage with them. The gel manicure was very clean and I was given a back massage waiting for them to dry and well as warm lotion hand massage.Thanks Tony, your service was well appreciated

Ann is amazing! I literally just left and I cant stop telling people about this place! So professional, thorough and attentive.Usually, when I go to a nail shop they rush the massage and lets be honest, thats why we all go. Monday morning first thing and no one else was in there!! Ill definitely be back every few weeks!

Truly fantastique. Scrupulously clean, and a wonderful spa experience. I keep trying other places because they are so much closer to me, but in the end I go back to Fantastique, even though it means a 30-minute drive, because they are simply the best. The best technicians and they also have the best selection of colors.

Excellent customer service. Ha and Lele were Wonderful, very polite. Salon is very clean. Husband and myself both had Mani pedis and very satisfied. Best experience ever with a nail salon and our feet feel so good. We highly recommend this salon and will certainly continue to go back.

By far the BEST nail salon in Richmond!!! Extremely clean environment, the best selection of colors and wonderful, lasting results. Every technician takes there time to make sure they are giving you the best service. The staff is so friendly and warm, you are given a complimentary beverage and there is even an iPad next to each treatment chair for you to read during your visit! I cant say enough about how great this place is. Simply the best!!!

I asked tony specifically for acrylic nails only. He refused to listen to me and charged me for gel/powdered nails at the end. No, they do not give student discounts so don’t be fooled VCU students. He also is very rough and doesn’t do a good job with glue and cleaning up. Oh and did I mention that the gel color I picked turned out to be a different color? I would not recommend this place, I’ve been to better nail places that take there TIME and LISTEN better. This place deserves NO stars.

They are not as clean as they advertise. They use jets. Theyre website says that they dont because of cleanliness. Its hard to clean jets. Also, they used sharp instruments that I DID NOT see come out of a closed autoclave packet. They came out of an open one. They only throw them in there to make it appear that their clean. Practices like these spread disease. Dont go to places that arent clean. Youll get something.

Ha was amazing she took her time making me feel wonderful, i absolutely love my nails and toes ... she asked what i wanted done if i wanted to keeo my nails or cut them down ...nobody ever asked me that before she just made me feel really relaxed and held a conversation with me . Ha will be my new nail tech !!!!

This place deserves no stars. I took a trip down to Richmond and saw this nail place in the shopping center and thought it would be nice to try out the new powder for nails. Ive had my nails done numerous times before but I have never experienced the type of pain that I experienced with Tony. He had no idea what he was doing and was rushing the whole time and being very rough! I was in so much pain and I even told him yet he kept going. I should have walked out at that point but I tried to give this place a chance. Not only did he rush through my service but the other lady working there rushed through my friends nails as well. I do not recommend this place. Stay far away if you dont want your fingers to be in pain and if you want decent service.

The pedicure was great. It is a clean an sanitary facility. There is a language barrier and I would suggest a photo of what you want if you are a first time customer and it is not completely straightforward so there is no misinterpretation. I had a very important meeting and was trying to reduce my anxiety and left extremely upset with nails that I absoluted hated and no time to rectify due time constraints because of miscommunication. Im sure if there had been time it would have been taken care of and they would have been fine. UPDATE: But then when speaking with my nail tech at home I was informed that it could have been fixed immediately, he was using the dip system and I asked him to do a different color since I only wanted colored tips and he made my entire nail bright blue and he flat out lied to me and said he could not just redip it in a different color nor paint over it which are both possible and very easy to do, it would have taken 30 seconds, but he just didnt feel like it. So my initial 3 star review went to 1, I wish I could choose zero, being lied to is the worst.

This place is truly amazing I havent finished yet but Im sold on the pedicure alone just a basic pedicure omg this was the best place Ive been too in years I love it

I went in for the dip nails and he tore my cuticuls to shreads. My fingers have been bleeding off and on because he trimmed so close to the skin and filed so hard. The manicure over all actually hurt, and I have never had an experience like that. Not to mention that he didnt even shape my nails before starting the dip process, and he was literally yelling on the phone while doing my nails. He was so loud that one of his employees even said something about it.
