Nails started chipping in less than 24 hours. When i called they invited me in for a fix but i don’t have time for a fix and by the time i could get in- my nails were beyond “fix”. I expect more for $42 plus mandatory 25% tip. I asked for a refund but they never called back. This place isn’t worth my time. The atmosphere is fine, staff was friendly and fun. I felt safe with protocols.

Ive been going to holy chic for a couple years now, and have seen Mikaela for probably the past year. When I say this is THE HEALTHIEST my nails have ever been, I truly mean it!! I was an avid nail biter for my entire life and Mikaela has truly helped me transform my nails. She is so detail oriented and truly cares about the health of your nails and gives you great pointers on at hole nail care. While I would love to get a manicure every 2 weeks, that’s not the reality of my life and I usually have to wait about a month between visits. Their application of gel polish is incredible and stays on for the entire time it takes between visits. I RARELY have any chipping or breakage between this time, which is incredible all in itself! The vibe of this salon is truly the best, and they make you feel so welcome. When you are not in deep conversation with my girl Mikaela, there are always solid jams playing for you to listen to.Overall I would rate my experience a 100000/10 and will absolutely be going back any chance I get!

If youre second guessing if you should book a service at Holy Chic + Co, this is confirmation to get to it! I just completed my second visit with Shey (my fave 🤎) and it was amazing. Per usual! The location is such a vibe, everyone is super pleasant and friendly. Most importantly my first manicure lasted almost 1 month - NO CHIPPING. I went on vacation, came back and it was still intact. I truly enjoy this place + the people and the monthly specials. I think I found my new home for manis and good vibes. Thank you!

Ive been going to holy chic for over a year and a half. Im always warmly greeted and never leave with less than flawless nails. If this review sounds like overkill, that is because holy chic goes above and beyond to accommodate. Quincy took my bad cuticle, short nails, and has taken me on a nail journey, Im routinely complimented on my manicures when I used to hide them. Run, dont walk to make an appointment!

I had to pick a star, but please know it should be zero. I had a great pedicure a few months back and made an additional appointment on June 14 for a follow up on July 9th. I was just informed today-July 5th-that my appointment was declined nearly 20 days after making the appointment. This is absolutely disappointing and most assuredly a bad customer service experience. I don’t understand the delay of information. They quite obviously need a better appointment system.

I’ve never been in so much pain during and following a manicure - the technique used on my cuticles left them swollen and my fingers in pain for days (still in pain 4 days later) to the point of having to visit my dermatologist to get prescription medicine / ensure my cuticles were okay. There really isn’t any other explanation for this pain, as it started during the cuticle portion of the manicure - so this would be the likely cause. I also had to soak the polish off the following day in order to see my nails and ensure they weren’t turning colors / infected / ensure the antibiotic ointment I had on hand was reaching all necessary spots. My technician was very rough on my cuticles when pushing them back / trimming them away, even making me bleed at one point. I had even told her she was hurting me, and while my dermatologist mentioned that she could see a difference in one hand to the next in swelling (which is where the tech reduced force), both hands are affected/ cuticles inflammed / in pain. The big-7 chemicals free or whatever and waterless concepts are cool, vibe is excellent, and people working there that day were nice... but, this experience, on top of still not getting any response to the email I sent them regarding my experience is unacceptable in my personal opinion.Update 4/15 -I received a response to my email shortly after posting this review (not sure if that was a coincidence). I’ve had to follow-up on emails since to get a response (at least one, 2x). At this point, I’ve been refunded for the service itself, but not the *mandatory* 25% tip or associated doctor’s visit fees.**this is my first-hand personal experience with this business, experiences may vary as you can see by other reviews**

The first time I ever went I had Michaela (sp?) and she was amazing, kind, and took the time a $75 manicure deserves. The next appointment I had I could tell their business had clearly grown a lot. My nail tech was very snobby and rushed through the job. Two of my nails were shaped lopsided and the polish chipped off...no joke..within 2 days. Im far from a customer is always right type, and I dont expect service workers to bend over backwards for me. But when Im going to a high end nail salon I feel like Im paying for time and effort. My nail tech just didnt care and just kept talking about the next appointment and how she had bookings back to back. I prebooked and paid for a gel manicure with complex nail art on all nails. When I went over designs and ideas of what I wanted, I was told she couldnt do it in her allotted time and that they really didnt offer the type of nail art I wanted (despite literally listing it on their website and posting pictures of the nailart I wanted on their instagram). I really love the non toxic nail salon idea, the overall aesthetic of the place is really soothing. But I was rushed in and out and didnt get what I wanted or paid for...also, as I mentioned before...the polish was chipped within 2 days. Dont fall for the high end nail salon garbage this place tries to feed you, you are treated like a number and rushed in and out as quickly as possible.

I’ve been a regular customer of Holy Chic since June 2019. I have sensitive skin and I love every manicurist is educated on nail care, nail health and is still up to date on trends and styles. It’s the perfect balance. They always made me comfortable when I was pregnant, they made the tough decision to close during the covid outbreak and then reopen safely a few months later.Since reopening, I always feel safe, comfortable and relaxed while I’m there.Paying a little bit more to ensure my nails look perfect and are being cared for with high quality tools and products is absolutely worth it.Treat yo self. Invest in yourself. Go to Holy Chic.

This place is a scam and only cares about money. i made an appointment over the phone and had never been before. the lady on the phone was very sweet and helpful and i was more than happy to give them business. after waiting an entire week for my appointment i get a message reminding me of my upcoming appointment and saying i need to check out a waiver on their website, i got this the afternoon before, therefore would get charged the cancellation fee. on their website it says they have a mandatory 25-28% tip on top of charging 75 (apparently not including tax either) for the basic gel extensions and nothing else. when making my appointment i was told my total cost was going to be 75 so when it’s the night before and i’ve just become aware of this it’s a bit of a shock. after calling all morning i finally got someone to pick up and it happened to be the same woman who made my appointment the week prior. when i told her what had happened she didn’t care. the bottom line is, if you’re going to make an additional payment mandatory for customers to pay, it needs to be MANDATORY to vocalize that to them. by the end of it after tax and tip it makes my bill nearly 100 which was not at all what i had agreed to when making my appointment. i made an appointment over the phone and had called and spoken to her many times before so it’s entirely unreasonable to have just left that out and expected me to find the waiver on their website that i didn’t even know existed. i work in customer service and i know how difficult it can be, but i also know you’re not helpless and there’s always another option and she did nothing and didn’t hesitate to charge me immediately.

Y’all! This place is wonderful. The staff are friendly, professional, and nonjudgmental. The environment is clean and relaxing. Service is top notch. Best of all, it’s nontoxic and environmentally conscious! What more could you ask for? My husband had his first nail experience here and is hooked. I will never go back to a “traditional” nail salon. Forever fan.

We need more nail salons like this!!! Hands down the best nail experience I’ve ever had. The shop is so cute, the girls are so nice and knowledgeable about nail health and care. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 10 years & I can honestly say that holy chic was the first place that actually gave me a real manicure! Like actually took care of my cuticles without drilling them off or making me bleed. Seriously my nails have never looked so good and healthy. I’ve seen Mikaela twice now, and she’s seriously amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I was very disappointed as nailpolish came of on the third day after purchasing the most luxurious and expensive pedicure .I called and asked if it was OK to return and have nail Polish redone I was told these are the chances you take when you go with regular nail Polish, when I indicated I purchased a really luxurious pedicure I was told no refund or re application. The receptionist argued with me.Very unprofessional and truly rude.I am not ever going back to pay 40 dollars plus 10 dollar tip for old nail polish and bratty employees. To clarify, I only asked for re application of nail polish.

If you are looking for a wholesome, genuine, and fun nail experience - stop looking, because here it is! The staff will learn your name, remember your favorite tea or hand scrub and ensure your appointments are great. I started my nail journey in November 2019 with fingers that looked like i clawed rocks. Quincy educated me, motivated me, and I now have beautiful nails I can show off on a regular basis!Dont be dumb, go here, it is worth your money and they are honestly here to make you feel better about your nail care!

So many things, I have never had a pedicure where you did not get a good foot soak. The seats are not comfortable, a mandatory tip that you have to put on venmo of 28%. After I get my toe polish on she tells me it takes 24 hours to dry. It is the middle of winter on a freezing day.

I’m shocked to see poor reviews for this business. I’ve been several times for a pedicure post-pandemic and have been so happy each time. It’s a cute, relaxing space and my feet look flawless for weeks afterwards. They have some of the most strict sanitation precautions I’ve seen at a business in the city post-COVID, which I appreciate. Awesome mission (who knew how much water a normal pedicure wasted?!) and I’ll continue to frequent Holy Chic.

All around bad experience. Made an appointment for nail art. Read on their site they do monthly designs but they do not. So I got an artist who was happy to do the simple design I found online. Right before she paints the receptionist tells me my artist is not allowed to do the straight lines I had chosen, only dots. Not only was there no apology, she blamed me for not communicating. So I got a plain manicure and when I checked out I show her my appointment on my email where it said nail art. The receptionist doubles down, no apology, rude as can be, then charged me forty dollars for a simple manicure that I didn’t want. Will never return.

Holy Chic went above and beyond for me during my most recent visit. I messed up my pedicure (totally my fault) within an hour of leaving the salon. I came back to purchase the polish color and fix it myself because I knew it was my fault, but they were so kind and more than happy to fix it for me instead. I really appreciate their level of service and dedication. Highly recommend!

Super clean place! Loved my color on my toes. The only thing I have to say is that I requested the pedicure with scrub and leg massage and did not receive it. I mentioned something to the woman at the desk how I was paying $40 for just a nail trim, buff and paint and she took off $5 and made a note that next time I come I can pay for the classic but get the extra stuff no charge which I really appreciate! I look forward to coming back to get my finger nails done by them too. I understand mistakes happen and I appreciate their apology and trying to make it right for next time :)

I like the thought of the non toxic salon but the experience as a whole was just kinda ehh. The staff was pretty loud, carrying on conversations and gossiping among themelves the majority of my time spent there, almost making me feel like i was interrupting them when i came in for my appointment, vibe felt very clicky. My gel polish also chipped on multiple fingers after just a few days. Overall the experience and service provided felt bare minimum, wouldnt go out of my way to return

Don’t waste your money. $10 for some stripes on your nails or a glitter coating on top.I’m honestly one of the most passionate regulars you can have. The most talented parts of the staff (that aren’t financially trapped) have quit. If I’m paying $10 for stripes I expect the person doing the work to see most of that. When presented with the problems I had with her business the owner was condescending and rude, taking it personally when she should’ve been professional. If you aren’t following your artist there, go somewhere else.
