The owner claimed he was famous and knew exactly what to do to my nails to satisfy me. I asked for something elegant because it was my birthday. Not only did he ruin the image of what I had in my head, he had the audacity to charge me $75 for nails I was not happy with. It took him two hours and he made me pay and tip before he was even finished. DO NOT RECOMMEND THEY ARE RUDE AND THEY SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY.

First off, these ppl are so rude! They rush on any service you get which results in a poor quality job. After the lady finished my pedi she asked did I need my nails done too even tho I stated that I did when I first got there, I said yes & she SIGHED like a child. To which she then rushed through my nails & they looked terrible in the end & she still over charged me. Since when does a fill-in cost the same as a full set? They do anything to your nails just to hurry up & get you out the door. When she was almost done with my nails another customer walked in and she SIGHED again. They clearly don’t wanna do their job. There are way better nail shops in Richmond. & I will never return to this one again.

I’ve been twice, first time for a fill in and second time for pedicure and fill in. I had Leen both times (not quite sure if that’s how she spells her name) but she’s amazing. Her acrylic work is flawless. Not a single nail lifted, broke or popped off—which is saying a lot considering I work in a gym and constantly putting my nails in compromising positions. I don’t usually write reviews, but she is great! Went back after 3 weeks but I’m confident my nails would’ve lasted another week at least. There’s usually a little wait, but it’s worth it.

Its been just 2 weeks ago that I got a new full set of gel nails done. ALL of them are coming off. I tried to explain to the staff member what has happened to them they said that 2 weeks a long time ago. That place sucks.

I got off work rushing to find a nail salon that would take me without an appointment and clean. And to my surprise all of the nail techs worked at Rainbow in Southside Plaza works in this shop. Honestly their attitude and customer service is outstanding compared to the Southside Plaza location. My nail tech Ive had her in the past at that location and she wasnt friendly. The new location they are all nice. I guess its all about the environment your in. But everyone deserves respect regardless of location. Truth is. You want it, you have to give it. Complete turn around for this crew!

This nail place is following covid-19 safety guide lines to the fullest. The customer service was good, was fast and professional. Good job 👍

Staff is nice its always clean and they practice social distance with coustmers and they take your temperature and you fill out a covic19 questionnaire I would recommend to others.

Very unhappy with the person that service my mom pedicure on 4/30/21 10:15 am .Her foot dropped in the water that she had not drained out before polishing her toenails. So the lady looked up at my mom and sie . Didn’t try to dry her foot at all I had to ask for a towel. I’m glad I was in here with her .No regards to a senior at 86 yrs old, No morePoor service

They do a really decent job when it comes to the manicures, pedicures, and eyebrows (those are the only services I get). However, a few of the nail technicians are very prejudice towards certain customers. They treat certain individuals with little to no respect. They subject their customers to rude conversations in another language aimed to humiliate and anger a person to the point that they leave. Ive witnessed them do this to other people, not myself. My experience has been a few miscommunications and a little attitudes from a few employees but Ive never been angry enough to leave from the rudeness. They will try to add additional charges if you have longer nails, so beware. Nevertheless, the work is basic because many of them cant do artistic designs. Its a no frills nail salon with certain biases towards certain groups of people, not a five star establishment.

They were very disappointing they made my nail bleed and then laughed when it started to bleed, they also tried to put acrylic on my nails after they made me bleed and my finger is in extreme pain, tender, and, numb definitely would NOT recommend 👎🏽 Also my nail polish looks like a 4 year old did them 🤮 never again

I do not recommend this place. Maybe if you have an emergency like a last minute date or a touch up then fine, other then that, dont go here. The staff is a bit rude and it came across as if they dont want to serve their customers. And when I told the lady that I wanted a regular, simple manicure she made it seem like I was crazy and that I didnt know what I wanted. Please take your money elsewhere.

Treated my family and I great. I took my wife and kids here and surprised them with mani-pedi. They were great. Very friendly and patient. Also was not very expensive. Two 👍👍 up.

If u want to be rushed and have half par nails then this is the place for u. Wont ever spend my hard earned coins here again. And i spent $125.00 in this establishment and still left upset😞

The Older Man helping me was Rude.. He was soo busy trying to sell me on something I didn’t want that he half way listened to what I was asking for. I told him several time that I did not like my nails, he wanted to rush me to get to the next customer.. He became agitated and speaking under his breathe..., I asked him if I was holding him up trying to pick a nail color, He said Yes, my customer is sitting over there waiting.., Seriously? I will NEVER go there again... I’d rather pull my nails off then visit this place..

They are so nice. Gettiing nails done anywhere is over priced, but they do a great job, and they follow directions without a fuss, unlike other places Ive been.

Very clean, quiet and friendly staff. Never a long wait. They offer soft drinks to clients and take their time so that they ensure you leave out happy.

Do not, I repeat, do not let the lady do your eyebrows. I gave her 2 shots and she always makes them too thin when I specifically say “ do not make them thin” the guy does a great job though. Get the guy to do them✔️

Awful customer service. This is the worst nail salon I have been to in Richmond va. The owner of the salon is extremely rude as well as the staff. They throw your hands and tell you to shut up. If I could give this piece of trash place 0 stars I would. Definitely will be contacting the BBB. Wish they could shut this place down.

Had a horrible experience my first and now only time here. An older man was to take care of my manicure and pedicure. I prepaid & pre-tipped, which Ill never do again. Immediately, he wouldnt do what I asked - to cut my nails, which he absolutely refused saying that it wouldnt be pretty. Additionally he cut my cuticles so deep they bled and still hurt today, the day after. Also, I myself had to clean up the nail polish he left on the side of my fingers.Be warned and stay away!

Me and my best friend only came here because Ramz Nails on w broad was closed. She did a good job on my feet but painted my toes the wrong color...my polish was supposed to be silver and she painted them purple. My best friend wanted a pink and white ombre and they lied and told her they dont do ombre but after i sit down they show me a whole sample ring of ombre nails. Tried to charge $20 extra for cateye polish on top of the extra $10 for gel polish. We were already paying an extra $10 because we wanted length and then tried to charge $57 for French tips! THERES A REASON WHY THE GOOD NAIL SHOPS ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAY!! NEVER GOING BACK

I dont expect that much from a place like Nail 2K, but I expect more than what I got.The technician I had buffed my toes more than my nails, cut into flesh several times and the massage consisted of pressing firmly on my shin bone and fondling my toes.To make it worse, the technician had difficulty running my card and, in broken English, asked another customer to help him. I handed him cash and asked for my card back. When I got home, I checked my bank account, and sure enough, hed charged my card, too.I wont be coming back to this nail salon.

It was my first time there and i didnt like the man that did my feet because it was a lot of things that he didnt do. Other than that it was ok and when and if i go back i will not let him do my feet again.

Worst experience I got there at 11am for a pedicure and fill. 1pm my feet done and they just have me waiting and taking other customers. They are very rude and poor customer service. I wouldn’t take my dog there to get her nails done. Last time ever.

I like the way they do my nails and feet but on my recent visit they had me waiting forever and as I was in the pedi chair I happen to look at the wall and seen a roach crawling ... I don’t think I’ll be coming back after today

Horrible customer service,charged friend 12 dollars for her nailwork even though she didnt get nails done because of technicians mess up.Threaten to call police because friend refused to pay because she nevergot nails done.They charged her for cutting the nails.Will not return!!
