I cant truly express how great the customer service is here! Once I came over from Whidbey Island unannounced - they were willing to pull out my Uboxes even though they needed 24/hr notice. And then, it was hard to get answers on pick-up/drop off info from Uhaul customer service. Stephanie talked me off the ledge and communicated with me through the whole process of picking up my boxes. I would of been lost without her help. I highly recommend this location.

This place in Port Townsend was great! After repeatedly trying to contact Uhail Corp to change our destination, with no luck, the store here was great. Handled it without any problem.
Stopped for help w directions. The guy was unwilling to help, and had the attitude like why am I bothering him? Well excuuuuse me!
Well after 45 minutes on hold twice. Their phone system is a joke. Just trying to get a price on a hitch and there is no way anyone can transfer you to the local store. When I finally got though got a price still no way to connect with the store.

Store is nice and clean. They have a good selection of boxes. Unfortunately, Logan was rude and of absolutely no assistance. He seemed put out when asked a question and was unwilling to help carry out boxes. Customer service is nonexistent.UPDATE we had to return today. Jennifer is AMAZING. She was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Very amiable customer service provided by Kate who took multiple calls/inquiries from me before arriving, then checked me in, installed the trailer and got me out the door plus some well suggested packing supplies. Not often I feel compelled to review a location such as U-Haul (rather than a restaurant or attraction), but the service with a smile made this particular visit stand out amongst the many other U-Haul interactions Ive had in the past. Ive rented trucks here before and in-person service was great. Unfortunately getting even a simple question answered over the phone gets you an out of area person and long, long hold times.
Disorganized finding ordered part then the guy loading it into my brand new vehicle put a large down to the base chip in the paint.
Always great service! Friendly staff, always have had good experience with this facility. Clean trailers and plenty of moving supplies.
Im adding to this review and changing the stars from 1 to 4 - The store manager Ted has been great in getting a new bike rack and will take the old one back and have the new one installed at the U-Haul location so we know it is all working correctly. -We are going to add a hitch to our Mini Cooper which they are going to install for us and add the bike rack to that -- once that is done Im sure that Ill be able to up to 5 stars and share my great experience with this store and remove the negative comments below -- if you read this Ted .... Thank you for the great service :-)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We recently bought a bike rack from this location. Today when I went to put the bike rack together noticed that after taking the outer packaging off that boxes looked damaged, then saw that zip ties had already been cut... So it was a returned product that was repacked and sold to us as new .. I know this is common practice in some cases so proceeded to do the installation . Came to find out that key parts are damaged and will not go together. . This would be why it was returned.... We will now be returning the unit as well and hope we either get a working unit or our money back .. This Uhaul is 50± minutes drive away so needless to say its going to be a right royal pain.... They should not have repackaged a faulty returned product and resold it to customers ... Just not good form at all ..

This is two star, only because the people in the PT office were very nice and polite. The missing other three stars are for the experience as a whole. I needed a small trailer to help a friend move some brush to the area yard waste center in Port Townsend. I went online and put in the location I needed, the 5x7 trailer my name address phone make model of my truck and then suffered through another 6 pages of up sell. Really, I dont need local help for $250 for one load of brush to the dump, thanks anyway. Moving blankets, no, boxes, tape? NO. Sometimes the link to bypass the upsell was small and in a different place so you had to look around the page to find it. I especially did not like that they pre selected a whole page of upsell items and I had to click to de select all those items which was a couple hundred dollars automatically added to my trailer rental. How very rude and deceptively greedy.So, after getting through all of this nonsense, I finalize my reservation and see something about a guaranteed reservation, cool.I make the plans with my friend to meet at his place at 11am and make a trip to Safeway for some groceries. While in Safeway my phone rings but the connection is bad and it was disconnected twice. In the bits that made it through the operator told me the trailer I reserved was not available at the Port Townsend location and that I would have to go to Oak Harbor to pick up. The call was lost right after that, so I wasnt able to retort. My retort would have been something like Are you aware that even though Oak Harbor looks really close on the map you are looking at, its actually a ferry ride away, or a 3.5 hour drive around? So the ferry is $18 each way, and a half hour each way, plus the chance of not making it on, so 4 ferry rides back and forth and all the waiting for the schedule and risk of not making it aboard, for a $15 one hour trailer rental? Brilliant! Sign me up.I never get another call back so I try calling the number received, Answering machine, sorry were closed. Nice. There is an option to reach a call center, so I do. 15 minutes on hold. Then, have you seen the movie Zootopia? Remember the sloth at the DMV? I ended up talking to the sloths sister at the call center from somewhere in the deep deep South. Seriously it was like talking to an attorney charging by the minute, with every word a monotone at a super slow cadence and she repeated my whole reservation back to me and then noticed that someone tried to get ahold of me but was not able to. Funny, that’s why I called. At which point I asked if she could have them try again. Instead she insisted on an attempt to patch me through and of course, she hung up on me. Not willing to wait another 15 minutes on hold, I gave up and went home.No further follow up call, no email, no text message, or anything to inform me of the possibility of a problem with my rental reservation.So the next morning I show up, figuring that they would have something that would work at least and if not, I would just load the brush in my truck (which was full up of work stuff and would need to be emptied) and get er done. These folks, Kate and Anthony, nice and polite as can be, with only 4 people to deal with, could not get their act together period. After waiting 30 minutes, I finally get the next size up trailer and of course they charge more for for the next size up, but by that time I am so ready to scream that I dont really care.It is difficult to imagine that in this day and age, a monster corporation like U-Haul cannot have online inventory and cant figure out how to only show the inventory available at a specific location and not allow you to even see a vehicle that is not available, let alone RESERVE it. U-Hauls definition of reserve must be different than mine.In addition, the clerk needed to re input all my personal info, which I had done online, to SAVE time, as in the pre-check in process, which was advertised online to SAVE time when picking up.Avoid U-Haul for sanitys sake.
