Absolutely love this place! I had a bad experience with another location and started going here instead. The staff here are very welcoming and super patient. They are quite busy normally so I do suggest you calling ahead!

I only gave once star because the guy that did my manicure did GREAT! But yet and still I would never go back or recommend this place. I got a fill in and got 3 nails fixed the tech kept filing my skin then used so much product( acrylic) my nails were crooked, and lumpy. I was so frustrated that I asked the older lady to fix and she literal took the file and filed my nail which did not fix the problem. I honestly don’t think the girl is certified because she clearly did not know what she was doing. Please don’t waste your time or money.

My gel manicure only lasted 2 weeks, the time I went before that it lasted 1 week. I think the polish maybe outdated.

I went in for a manicure & pedicure. The place is NOT clean. Additionally, they take NO precautions to sanitize utensils or foot baths. I would HIGHLY recommend staying AWAY from this establishment. I wish I had walked out when I first walked in -- I felt embarrassed to walk out. I later developed a toe nail fungus --- attributed to my doctor as a result of a pedicure -- my last one at City Day Spa & Nails.

Nails fall off in 3 days after getting them done. When I went back for to get it fix she act like she had a attitude. Then she made the acrylic to thick and uneven. I will never go here again. Dont waste your time or money.

The man who did my pedicure and removed my gel nail polish was very attentive, not rushed, and took his time to do a good job. The salon was clean, there was no sharp chemical odor. I will definitely be coming back :)

Great place to get your Nails Done

Went there a few moths ago for the first time for a pedicure, .. I was the only one in there...I requested “no color, just clear”... the gentleman led me to the first pedicure station and when he filled the water, there were “flakes”floating around in the water (like dead skin/nail trimmings) he did an ok job with trimming up my toe nails and cuticles,.. it really worried me when he started using tools from the plastic drawer on rollers (pulled them right out of the drawer, trimmed my nails then put them right back in the drawer (not sanitized), this really lit a red flag! He rushed through the best part (foot massage) maybe about 30 seconds on eat foot. He DID NOT put a clear gloss on as requested and said “all finished “ .. I was baffled as this was only 15 minute session. He asked if I wanted my nails done too and I politely decline, paid $22 + $2 tip. I immediately went home as I felt grossed out and my feet/bottom half of legs were itching and washed my feet and lower legs in my bath tub and put hydrogen peroxide over my toes and hydrocortisone cream all over my feet and legs. I ended up with 2 ingrown toenails and a fungus on both feet. I will NEVER GO BACK!!!Months later I’m still dealing with the ingrown nails and fungus. This is just my experience, not saying you will have the same, but I definitely will not go back!

First of all...the only reason they got a one star was by FORCE!!! worst nail shop i have ever been to....I went in for a fill-in 2 days ago and i need one already!! not only that but two tips popped off from me simply typing at work.... nails are soooo thin looks like she filed all my acrylic off. no wonder there breaking so easily! to RVA nails on brook rd i go!!!! follow me on face book Jamaica Jones to read more on my rant!!!
