Helping Hands is a Godsend! I was originally referred to Jennifer when the lawyer that was handling my mums case became unable to complete the work due to illness. My situation is especially complicated because I live in another country, and so am not able to be present to handle all the detail work. Started out okay with Joanna. My mother is at a nursing home and needed care. For the last few weeks we have not gotten replies from our calls and all of the paperwork has not been turned in. Thus my mother is getting ready to be kicked out of the nursing home and may not get the extra care she is needing at this time. The nursing home has even sent faxes and not received any response. At this point I would not recommend Helping Hands Consulting to anyone. I will be requesting the same for the nursing home and my family will be posting blogs and getting the word out on all social media. After paying this company in advance and not getting any response it is not worth the time, effort or cost.

I was in need of a medicaid bed for my husband in the Denver area, to be near my sons, and Helping Hands Consulting offered to assist me in clarifying if he was eligible for Medicaid and after their careful analysis of our finances, it was determined that he did indeed qualify, and the process of providing the paperwork necessary at the right time began. Most of the communication was over the internet as I was living out of state initially. Mary at Helping Hands met with me and my son in December while I was in town, and after that all of our communication was by phone and internet. All the documents were collected and Mary submitted them in a timely manner to Medicaid and within a short time all of the processing for my husband to become a Medicaid client was completed. He got his number, and I was encouraged to request Optum, an insurance coverage for those who are on Medicare and Medicaid. I am grateful for the efficient and thorough work done by Helping Hands.
