First time visiting this salon and I must say I am very pleased with my service! My appointment was 1 hour before closing, however they took their time to complete my service. Clean & consistently reliable great manicures & pedicures! Love this place!

Honestly if I could give team 10 stars I would. Great color selection, pricing is good, and my nails ALWAYS last at least 4 weeks. Ive stretched to 6 and theyve been great. Love love LOVE them!!

Called ahead asking for pricing they said $40 for a fill with gel coloring for short nails.Once they took my other nail polish off and trimmed my nails they upped it to $45 saying because I was getting gel… even though I called ahead for that specific pricing and made an apt. I pointed out that that’s not what they said over the phone. They didn’t seem to care. No stopping there since they were already half way done with my nails! And they didn’t have the color I picked out of they’re own options. Disappointed because I was trying to go out of my comfort zone and try a new place I might like better. I won’t be coming back. My other place is $10 cheaper for the same service and better quality.

My skin broke out horribly after the facial waxing I received. I don’t have acne or any skin condition. This was all new and related to the facial waxing. After the waxing I was told to wash my face in the sink and it was a bit dirty and no towel to dry was provided. I had to use alcohol wipes and antibiotic cream on my face for several days. I also consulted with a licensed cosmetologist for help clearing up my skin. The gel manicure and pedicure were fine, but a color was recommended to me that was not at all the color I requested.

I stay about 40 minutes away from this nail shop and i pass up multiple nail shops just to go here i love it here and the customer service is great !

Not a fan. When I lived in Richfield 6 years ago this place it together. Now.... ITS GROSS. They take forever even if you make an appointment and on top of that with COVID they dont even clean the massage chairs after clients before sitting you down. I waited and when a guy left they sat me in the chair without cleaning it first. Ill never go back. Their prices are high for such low quality salon, it looks dirty, unorganized, and needs a remodel.🤷🏻‍♀️They really need to get on top of their organization and also cleanliness with COVID.🤢🤮

City Nails is located in the hub shopping center in Richfield. Masks are required. Titi is an excellent nail technician who takes her time and does a wonderful job with acrylic gel sets and polishes your nails so pretty with all their fabulous colors they have available. Prices are affordable. And you dont need an appointment if theyre not busy. Come see for yourself.

Called 3 days a head and made it appt. They saw all the walk ins before they saw the person who had an appt. I waited close to 2 hours after my appt time to be seen. Once I got up to leave then suddenly they can see me, not happening. I will never come here again. Unprofessional, late as hell/ they dont stick to their appts they make, and they show real favoritism to customers they know instead of sticking to appts they book.

The first time I went in was great, Anna did amazing but the second time my nails hurt. The lady at station 8 shaved my nailbed too much and when I went in they refused to remove the nails because they looked beautiful still. I will never go back after that

City Nails is an excellent place to get a manicure, pedicure or any type of waxing done. They are safety first on the Covid19 front so make an appointment. The staff work beautifully together to ensure a relaxed and efficient experience. They are all highly skilled in a large range of services and genuinely enjoy their work and chatting with people who want to. I have always had a rejuvenating experience there in the 3 years since I discovered these wonderful people. 5 stars!

Do not believe all these good rates they made me pay 225$ just for 2 pedicures and one manicure and waxing eyebrows they tried pressuring me to pay for a foot creme my mom had payed cash for it and they tried saying we didnt pay and they added 25$ for me to pay for another creme i did not ask never going back again its not worth your time going

I got my feet done for my graduation for tomorrow I had to pay 50$ for gel color and they did terrible....

I just wish they wouldnt charge to take off gel polish because they put it on and you have to pay the ticket off thats not right

**Please read and be careful on getting over-charged. **I went to City nails with my goddaughter to get our nails done; I called ahead to make my appointment and asked for prices of what we had in mind. They told me itd be no more than $60. When we got there, I had originally asked for polish only on my natural nails and the lady convinced to me get actual nails on. My goddaughter asked for incarcerated butterflies to which they told us itd cost $80 for just hers. I thought it was too expensive being that the butterflies would be for two fingers only and the nail wasnt going to be long. I asked how come and they told us that was the price but could go down to $70 but would be shorter, I asked how short and she showed us a sample (it was not too short but not too long). I agreed but was definitely disappointed at the price. As the lady proceeds to work on my nails, I asked if she could do coffin shape, she said no because mine were too short but said shed try to do so. She never mentioned that would cost me $10.Everything seemed to be okay until I noticed we were the only customers in there and the other ladies who werent doing anything were there WITH NO MASKS ON talking to each other. One of them was even picking her nose in front of us, also with no mask on. They were distracting the lady who was doing my goddaughters nails as well as being on the phone so often. My goddaughter kept texting me that the lady kept turning to the other ladies and her phone and was cutting her and there was blood on each finger. I tried to say something but they were too loud, talking and laughing so I decided to wait.When my nails were done, she asked if I wanted a design on my ring finger to what I said no, she kept on trying to convince me but I denied when she said itd be $5 more per design. It almost felt like she even got mad when I said no thanks for the 5th time. When fully done, I got up first, washed my hands and went to check up on my goddaughter. She did have cuts and blood on every finger. I asked why and the lady denied there was blood, I told her yes, look at it. The lady grabbed my goddaughters hand and told us it wasnt her fault. She said it was the winter making her hands dry and the fixing cuticles that made her bleed. I also noticed that the nails were way too short, nothing like the sample she had given us when we agreed to $70. My goddaughter said she never asked if the length was okay or anything since she was too busy talking to the other ladies or on her phone.When it came to pay, my total went up to $140 which is too expensive so I asked why that much, the lady who did mine told me my nails were also $70 since she had to do coffin shape and gel coat. My nails definitely didnt have a coffin shape, and not to mention the color turned black/yellow-ish after week one. I paid the total, I wasnt going to just leave but I just would never return. When I was signing the receipt, my goddaughter showed me her hands again and the blood wouldnt stop. I proceeded with making another comment to the lady who was ringing me up about her hands and how the lady was too distracted. She eventually heard us, gave us this very dirty look and started yelling to the other people in her language. We could tell it was about us since the rest of them were also looking at us.I thought about returning to remove mine since they turned black but I honestly dont think I will ever go back to this very expensive place where masks are required for customers but they can be laughing, coughing, talking and even picking their nose WITHOUT A MASK ON.

Most awesome place for pedicures. Mai is amazing and does a beautiful job everytime. I discovered this salon after the stay at home order ended in 2020 and theres no way Ill ever go back to the other place I used to go. So happy I decided to try this place out because now its my nail salon. Prices are reasonable but I usually only get facial wax and pedis. Even when I want a fancy embelished pedi the price is still fair. The staff is kind, most importantly, they make me feel appreciated and welcomed everytime I visit. I totally love City Nails, superb!

I went here and they charge way too much for their services. Myself and my 4 yr old niece went there to get pedicures. They tried to charge me $30 for a pedicure for a kid, a 4yr old to be exact. They charge $14 for eyebrows and they are not even the best with that. $50 dollars for my pedicure and it wasnt even spa quality. This nail location is best for me and close to my house but I will rather drive a further distance than to come back here.

This place is fantastic. The service is top-notch from start to finish. They have multiple that specialize in intricate nail designs. You show them a photo and they will make it happen. They were also welcoming and kind. Will definitely go back.

Kind staff. Quite rough on my nails, which are natural. The file used on my hands was coarse and hurt. The tips were crooked and jagged, so I asked if I could smooth and straighten out myself. The polish was never dried between coats. You can see where the color coat and top coat were painted sloppy. I have a bubble on one nail, you can see the demarcation lines between the color and top coat. It wasnt terrible because Ill fix it at home, but more care wouldnt been nice. Also the basic pedicure didnt do much of anything to even buff calluses. Very quick and fast service. Again mediocre, but not the worst either. Glad I brought my best base and top coat, so that it lasts longer.

I scheduled an appointment at 10 am to get lashes and my eyebrows done. Came no one was ready for me tammy had to stop doing nails to do my eyebrows then told me to wait 20 mins while she finished the other customers nails for me to sit in the back for 45 mins and a lady to tell me to move into another room and kept forcing me to lay down. Then tammy came in 10 mins later after the moved me to move me back into the room i was just in to do my eyelashes. And the next day a few of my individuals lashes came off. Will not be coming back I usually just come for my lashes but after being pushed off and not cared about i couldnt waste my time or money here any more.40$ for lashes that didnt even last my birthday

I think this shop provides cheap and poor products. I got my nails done two weeks ago and 3 nails have broken and my nails are lifting up to the point where it looks like I cheaply glued them on myself. They’re always cute leaving the shop but it was a total waste of $40.

I see the nail tech Annie and she is a realsweetheart. She is very professional and knows how to give me exactly what I want. She is very personable and professional.

Not sure they truly disinfect tubs as they serviced someone as I was waiting for nails to dry, and observed them only rinsing the foot tub, not full disinfecting cleaning. Can I say - toe fungus....athletes foot. NEED TO CLEAN BETTER!!!

Just recently we used City Nails for my wedding! My bridesmaids and I all loved our nails! Never a bad experience!! I will be going here until the day I die! ;)

Way overpriced! Charged me regular price for my daughters pedicure and then conveniently added on a manicure without asking me. Shes 8! NEVER going back. Would not recommend - for a kid or an adult!

Went in for a fill the lady said $50 Ive been getting my nails done for over 20 years I have never been charged so much for a fill! So I said ok how much for a full set she said $50 how is a fill the same price as a full set? I dont feel like there techs are that good to be charging that much some of these nail salons try & up the prices but not using the money to upgrade the salon or bring in fresh talent. Very expensive.Make up prices as they go 60$ for pink and white and then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted the gel top on it full well knowing that when you get pink and white, the gel automatically comes on it. Ive been to lots of nail salons and never seen it done without it. Got pedicure and was charged 57$ for it because I got a get polish and then she asked if I would get a design, um, no 😡. So my price can be 75$. She did a deluxe pedicure without even asking, Im assuming because she slapped some stuff on my foot, then wrapped them in dry towels for about 10 seconds when the towels are supposed to be wet and hot. Then she charged 25$ to paint my little girls nails with gel polish. I went there because it was late and my normal salon was closed. Wont make that mistake again. They really play you for a fool to take you for everything rather than building a relationship on good customer service to keep good loyal customers.

This place is horrible. The worker that did my nails said, “pay attention to me” and almost forced me to get my eyebrows waxed when I said no multiple times, that is only a couple of incidents that happen. The place is very dirty and nasty, I watched someone clean the bowles with only water, there is dirt all over the place. And the lady that painted my nails did a horrible job, and they are very money-hungry. I hope that lady sees this review, and of course I did not tip her.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was absolutely disgusted by this place. I will 100% be contacting the Board of Cosmetologist Examers (BCE).Let me explain..I am a licensed cosmetologist, I myself do the exact same certification as these nail techs for saftey and sanitation..I brought my dad here as we were in the area, and I didnt want to drive us all the way to our normail place.Anyways, we walk in and they yell from the way back of the store and tell us to come back to the pedi bowls.At first I liked the chairs and the design, super cute. Then the nail tech started hovering over me while I was picking a polish and asking me if I wanted all the upgrades.. um no wait till Im in your damn chair. Finally I went and sat down and she started rushing doing my nails.. barley took the time to actually push my cuticles back and pay attention to what she was actually doing.. Now heres where I noticed the unsanitary things she was doing.She was touching the bottles of cuticle cream/oils/lotions TO MY SKIN! I was concerned, but not yet disgusted. However it did make me start paying more attention.. after she does my nails she puts gloves on, slathers more lotion on my leg and then DIPS HER ENTIRE HAND IN THE SCRUB JAR! ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME!?!? How many times has she done this before?So I said something, she was so dumbfounded had absolutely no idea what to say. She got all huffy and puffy and went and grabbed an applicator stick to scoop more out. Welp lady, dont you think its a little late for that? She had the nerve to tell me her other stick broke.. yeah ok. As Im sitting there boiling I watched as the lady right next to her DO THE EXACT SAME THING ON MY DAD.You best believe I called her out too. She also blatenly lied to my face and said she used the stick. Excuse me!? I just watched you. Not only that after they applied the scrubs/masks they put the sticks back in the jar! Umm.. do you know anything about sanitation!? Seriously?Then they started to speak all angry in their native language clearly about me.I told my tech to forget the polish, that I didnt want it. She got so upset, rushed through the rest of our Pedis and we werent even in there 30mins, for the Spa Pedicure.. anywhere else Ive gone is atleast 45min-1hr for an upgrade.If my dad wasnt with me, I would of stopped her dead in her tracks after she got all upset about me bringing it up and left. I would of never finished the service.My dad is very slow moving and has a Neurodegenerative Disease and I didnt want to up and rish him out. Were already in the bowls and theyre already unsanitary. If were going to get a fungus or infection it would already be too late.DO NOT GO HERE.Unless you dont care about sanitation and want a fungus or infection.Absolutely nasty.
