Been going to Posh Salon for at least 3 years now. Kristen Sheldon is the best hair stylist Ive ever had. Every single time I walk walk out the door she leaves me feelin like a movie star! She does everything from a cut to permanent extensions and Ive had it all. I love how she can change my look anytime I want. Although I have only been to Kristen the other stylist are always so nice. They are located right off capital so its so close. Great decorating, clean bathrooms, Thumbs up Posh Salon.

After searching for nearly a year for a stylist that can match the cut and style my good friend up north gave me, I have found a new salon home. Mark gave me exactly the style I wanted with great attention to detail. Definitely a challenge because my hair is long, thick and curly.

Wonderful! My 1st visit with Lindsey at Posh Salon! My eyebrows were long overdue for waxing-she did a fantastic job. Posh Salon is still open through health restrictions (just make your appointment-when your arrive for your appointment, wait in your car, they will call for you on your phone, then open the door). I read the other reviews here and I am very satisfied!

Jernille was my stylist and she did an amazing job!! She took my grown out purple hair back to my natural color and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She listened to exactly what I wanted and executed it flawlessly! Super friendly and professional! 10/10 recommend! Affordable prices and even better service!

So I went in to see Olivia and I was super nervous, I was going from dark to light so that meant bleach 😬 she did an AMAZING job (I mean the pictures speak for themselves) she went the extra mile as it had to be foiled twice. She spent 5 hours on my hair and never made me feel rushed or anything. She really enjoys what she does and it shows ❤️ The environment was awesome, the private yet open concept of the salon is very comfortable. Olivia Jordan, wow. She just blew me away, with the best hair results that Ive ever had. She nails little things about your hair, without being told. I allowed her to control the outcome, a first for me, and I am super pleased. She also recently did my daughters color, and that was impressive as well.

I had my hair cut by Jernille. First off, I hate getting my hair done. The chit-chat, deciding on if you want something new, hoping you like your cut...and it is even worse when you go somewhere new. So I went to Jernille for my first visit and she is amazing!! She listened to what I wanted, told me exactly what she could and would do. She stopped several times to make sure we were on the same page. We talked the entire time, and I felt like I had known her my whole life. It was the first haircut of my entire life that I actually enjoyed and couldnt believe it had flown by so fast! And my hair looks amazing! If you are looking for someone new, look no further, just book you appointment with Jernille!

I have contemplated writing this review for a few weeks. I called and spoke to Serena, and explained how I wanted color and to shape up my cut, but its hard to find a stylist who van do everything for my hair since I have curly/coily, thick hair. We talked and all seemed well so I made an appointment for an in-person consultation.Went to the consultation, sat in her chair with my curly hair, talked about what I wanted, and made an appointment. First, let me say she did mention she has arthritis and carpal tunnel and that should have been my cue to find someone else. But she ensured me she had the experience and could do what I wanted....if I brought my hair dryer from home with the comb attachment (second cue that I ignored). At the end of the appointment, she quoted me $220 because of my thick hair and the process of bleaching all over and then coloring. Cool, I can deal with that.Day of the appointment comes and I combed out my hair and made sure it was straight without flat ironing it, but of course its still thick. I get there, and she starts to ask how much she quoted me and says that she might not be able to do my hair because she cant straighten it. She then tells me how she thought she quoted me $290 ($75 more than what was listed in my appointment confirmation email because she couldnt change the price from $215 to $220 on the quote) and proceeds to straighten my hair. It ends up being worse than when I straighten my hair myself. This took about 3 HOURS. Once finished, she realizes she does not have enough bleach or color. So she asks me to come back a different day. I agree even though I should have known at this point all the signs were there. Unprepared and lacking knowledge in my hair type even after the consultation. She then proceeds to do a test stand with the beach and color and its beautiful so Im not so upset.A few days later I return, and bring my own blow dryer. She says oh I didnt know we were doing that. WHAT!? At this point I just tell her to do the color and I want to go home. Instead of the all over color she tested for and that I was quoted at $220, I end up with two complete different and new shades (blue and green and NO TEAL like I originally requested) that is more of highlights and is DEFINITELY NOT OVERALL COLOR WITH SHADOW ROOTS THAT I PAID AN EXTRA $70 FOR BECAUSE SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT SHE TOLD ME.... but I like the colors so its okay. Then she proceeds to say and we will just moisturize and ginger comb like IT says to do with our hair. Like WHAT says? Im confused, but have color so I just leave with my hair dryer (hair wet and curly still). Go home, dry, flat iron, moisturize, condition, oil, de-frizz, etc. Looks good.Fast forward to the next day when Im at work, taking pictures if my hair and notice the back and sides. Some color is blotchy, with yellow showing from the bleach instead of color. And a big chuck on what appears to be a layer missing on the bCk of my now frizzy hair....(how?). So I text Serena. And what does she tell me? She did good straightening my hair, so I could be able to do the same thing (mind you my hair was more frizzy than this when she straightened it because she did terribly). And not to mention trys to sell my more hair products and doesnt even notice the terrible color until I mention it. Now my hair has a weird she when I leave it naturally curly, too. MONEY WASTED. EXTRA MONEY WASTED - that I should not have paid. UNPROFESSIONAL. UNPREPARED. And now I will be finding someone else to correct. She tried to text and call me to have me come in, but obviously someone who has her conditions is not well equipped at doing my hair type - regardless of her insistence that she can. I hope this is not normal practice for the salon. Changing pricing, upping prices at the last minute, and subpar work. I would ask for a partial refund, but I dont even want to step into this salon again. And its a shame because people there are nice (even though they all asked me and assumed I had to be there to see the black lady).

I was incredibly happy with my experience here. Serena is very knowledgeable and kind. She is very passionate not only about hair but the people underneath the hair as well. Serena took the time to understand my personality and gave me a fabulous haircut to reflect it. I will be going back, as we set long term goals for my hair as well as having a fantastic style now. I finally have the style I’ve been longing for!

Serena did a fantastic job on my hair. She sat with me in consultation face to face for 15 minutes prior to the haircut to get to know my needs and wants. She offered to look up pictures with me and answered all my questions. This was my first appointment with Serena and I was making a big change to my hair, and made me feel very comfortable! I got so many compliments on my hair the next day too. Definitely recommend her!

Serena is amazing! I have always had trouble finding a stylist who understands how to cut my wavy/curly hair. I first went to Serena in the spring when I read about her dry cut method. Shes a true artist when it comes to shaping hair! After consistently great cuts since over half a year, Im hooked. I wont go to anyone else now.

My son will not allow anyone else to cut his hair or shape his brows. The appointment times available work well with a busy teenagers schedule and the salon is nice. Olivia is going to be his stylist forever he says. I never knew how picky a boy could be over a haircut until he became a teenager and the ability to help him transition into a new look and maintain it was really awesome. Olivia J is highly recommended. Great prices, availability, and professional.

I had my first dry cut this week and it was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Serena listened to me, looked at the photos I brought and gave me the exact cut I wanted. She was so fast, I got a little worried that she didn’t take long enough, but when she finished, it was perfect and it looks just as good when I style it - which means it’s a great cut.

Serena cut my hair about a month ago. I quickly needed to get a trim and some styling done before a trip and she was able to squeeze me in that day. I have very simple Asian hair and struggle with lack of volume. She does the dry cutting, which I had never received before, and this is the only way I will cut my hair now! My straight hair had volume after just a cut, without any blow dry or anything. She is so knowledgeable in her profession, very accommodating and best of all, honest. She told me my hair does not need a trim every 6 weeks and told me to come back in 3 months. Most places will just schedule for 6 weeks no matter what. I really appreciate her making time for me that day because now I have a forever stylist in this area! I know Asian people have a weird thing about not letting non-Asian people touch their hair but Serena knows how to do it all :)

Words can not express the amazing job Olivia J did on my haircut and color . I was beyond shocked when the transformation was complete. I went from black to silver and long to short. The knowledge and time she put in to making sure it looked good was greatly appreciated. The compliments I have been getting all week have been amazing and exciting.

I was completely thrilled with my experience. The atmosphere of the whole salon was warm and friendly- that of a place of gathered friends. Mark Anthony did an amazing job with my hair. He was patient with my vague ideas and helped curate my thoughts into the best style for me. His work was meticulous, and he was careful to be sure that I was OK with everything he was doing before he made any cuts. Everything about my visit was above my (already high) expectations. I already have my next appointment booked to continue maintaining my new do. Five stars- highly recommend- will be back!

Myself and my Husband have going to Kristen for years. She not only a great stylist she has an outstanding personality as well. I have thick curly hair and she has styles and colored it from dark to platinum over the years. Leaving it healthy along the way. The salon itself is clean and well lit. With a comfortable waiting area and private booths. In the last year they added an excellent esthetician for all of your full service waxing needs.

Krystal was great with me. It was my first appointment and she was very nice, friendly and understanding with what I wanted to have done on my hair. I love the fact that the facility has separated spaces for each client which makes your experience more private. For appointments you contact each stylist directly through the phone or e-mail. Mark did a marvelous job on my medium-short haircut! I absolutely love it :) He was very attentive of my needs. I just love the way he handle my hair--it was very gentle, it almost felt like I was on a massage session. Salon ambiance is welcoming and relaxing. You dont need to worry bout a thing!

I hate to write this, but I feel it needs to be said as I came to this salon based on extremely positive reviews and left really disappointed.Audrey cut my hair, and although she was pleasant to speak to, I really dont feel like she listened to what I wanted. I told her I was growing out my hair, as I have a wedding in 6 months and to just clean up my ends, and work with the long layers that were in my hair. Im not a hairdresser, and after the cut I realized I should have mentioned that my hair was cut with point cuts. Though, in my defense, if you are a first time client - I would hope that the hairdresser checks out your hair to see how it is cut, and what youre used to. Audrey did not do this. In fact, the whole time she seemed rather rushed and out of it. When it even came time to blow dry my hair, she was very rough and used a round brush on tangled sections of my hair... ouch. I was really disappointed when I saw how much she took off the length (over an inch), how blunt she made the cuts, and (the worst part that is still making me tear up) how much she cut off the front of my hair... I never asked for extremely blunt cut face framing layers. (My hair is thick and wavy - in what world does this work?) These layers go about 4 inches above my hair length all the way to my ear, and its not symmetrical at all with both sides. I saw my parents this weekend and even they agreed it was a terrible cut.I dont know if it was just a miscommunication, or if this is how Audrey is used to cutting hair. However, I did not leave the chair happy - and when she asked to fix the cut what could I say? She had already taken so much off and given me the complete opposite of what I wanted. Now, I am left with trying to grow out my hair as much as possible before my wedding, and to fix these awful layers she put into my hair.I really have nothing positive to say about the cut. Even the 15% off Audrey gave me was a bit of a disgrace.

I saw Serena last week for my 1st ever experience with highlights. I’ve always had naturally bright blonde hair but as I’ve entered my late 30’s it was starting to look dull. I can’t say enough about Serena! She knew exactly what I was looking for and my hair looks the best it ever has! I was concerned about the highlights looking unnatural and they look so natural and perfect. Not to mention, Serena took time to talk with me about my long term hair goals and came up with a plan to get me there. She also has such a sweet personality and made me feel so comfortable. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

I go to Smoothe which is within the Posh Salon for regular waxing appointments with Lindsay. If you need a wax, she is your girl! The salon itself if very clean and has a small but comfortable waiting area. The staff is always nice and welcoming while I wait for Lindsay to come get me for my appointment.

Mark-Anthony is great! My haircut is always perfect, he is also really pleasant to chat with. I chose Posh Salon one year ago based on Google Reviews, and I have been happy with Mark-Anthonys service ever since. I would definitely recommend him.

I highly recommend Serena at Posh. She is an extremely talented hair artist. There are a lot of moving parts to doing hair - texture, color (does it really match your skin tone or not?), your face shape, your personality (will you take the time to achieve the styling on your own? Are you edgy or conservative?). Plus, we all find that great hair style picture we want, but often fail to connect the dots that no matter how we copy the style, we’re never gonna look like that model and thus end up a bit disappointed - but rarely because of the cut.Serena will take all these things into account. On your first appointment, take time to talk to her. Tell her what you will or won’t do on a daily basis. How adventuresome are you? Or are you just ready for something a little different?Serena has the ability to “see” all the moving parts to create the best hair style (and color if you are interested in that) for you. Plus, she’ll be honest and tell you that it won’t look good or she doesn’t recommend xyz for you. I had Krystal Briggs as my hair stylist and she did an amazing job on my hair. You see I am very particular about my hair and the way I like it and she gave me the time, patience, and understanding that I absolutely needed. I received high-lights, low-lights and a cute little bob haircut. Not only did she do a great job but she also gave me some good tips on how to get my hair to do what I want it to do. I WILL be going back to Krystal for many years to come. The best part of all is that I wont have to go back as frequently to the hair salon as I once did to get my roots done because she did such a thorough job that everything blends perfectly. She is also reasonable on her prices for services and products. Fantastic Job!!!

I got a New York Dry Haircut! I L O V E it!!! It makes so much sense that it is cut dry bc I’ve had so much trouble with it cut wet bc the stylist can’t see how short it’ll be when it dries and the curls are different with water weight. She does this “Scissorhands” technique that’s keeps my length but makes my hair volumnized and so full!!! I’ve NEVER been this happy... I’m estatic and highly recommend her to everyone who needs their hair truly customized. She’s passionate and compulsive about perfection. I appreciate that about her. She’s a ‘shear genius’.

My wonderful hair dresser Audrie made a charitable contribution for a hospice event that included cut color and style. This was well over 2 years ago that my husband bought it and I admit I wasn’t all that thrilled as my previous experience had not been all that positive with “gift” cards and usually cost me more than if I’d not had a “gift” coupon. But let me tell you Audrie did a fantastic job and I’ve been her loyal customer ever since. She’s beautified me through some rough spots and corrected some goofy mistakes I made trying to do my own hair! I love her to death- she is an artist when it comes to hair and she’s a “tech” too. Learn something every time I come in for my appointment! I’m so sorry the lady had such a bad experience BUT this should in no reflect on Audrie or her associates that have been there forever! If you need a hair style change to uplift your spirits, I whole heartedly recommend the salon and Audrie in particular- you will not go wrong!!🤗
