I have been going to this salon for 3 years going on 4 years. In the past I have never had an issue, Ive come in on time and paid for my services each time and left satisfied. My issue started about 6 months ago. Nina always did my nails and I never had an issue, but then her attitude got so bad that I took my business elsewhere. I didnt complain I didnt say anything I just went to another salon. I finally decided to give it another try and for the last 2 months Ive been trying to go back to the salon. The last time I got my nails done a week later it looked terrible. I gave it another chance and here I am now, the older gentleman who did my nails I believe is the owner. He miss shaped my nails, he did very thick nail polish and he did not prime at my nails at all for the polish. So here I am having to go back three separate times to get my nails fixed. I have went two times today alone for them to fix the nail polish which is gel, I paid extra for gel this is not supposed to happen and Ive already had to go back twice in 24 hours to get my nails fixed. Its been one day since I got my nails done and Ive already been back two separate times to get nail fixed. Now tonight, after I got out the shower I looked down and my nail polish chipped again. Something simple as being in the shower should not make the gel nail polish peel, but then again he did not prime my nails. I paid my money. How is this fair.

I had been a customer here for almost a year. Up until my last appointment. I got a fill in and was charged almost as much as the price of a new set. I was pretty irritated but still paid. I loved the color but the shape wasn’t the best but I didn’t complain. After a week I found an at home certified nail tech who was going to soak off my nails and do a new set. She struggled to soak them off for over an hour. This was due to the fact that they used MMA monomer which is illegal/prohibited in NC. After she finally removed the acrylic she had seen where they burned my actual finger nail beds with the drill on 5 separate fingers.Trust me it’s not worth ruining your nails. To confirm that they’re using MMA just have them remove your previous set. They are going to pop them off with a nail tip because it’s impossible to soak the monomer off. This nail salon in particular rushes their work because it’s only about getting as many people in their chairs as possible.

Nina is hands down the best! Love her work and if she cant do something you want she will tell you if she cant or get you close to

Been going here for over a year, and have always had a good experience. I like how they shape my nails, have plenty of color options and nice staff. Tony then Brittany were the first to service me and they are wonderful!...But they stay busy so book an appointment. Fiona is really pleasant and gentle on your fingers even if you have damage,shes super sweet. Those are my picks...Love the mood polish, its like two for one.

I will never waste my money here again. At first everything was great. Nice and clean salon. I wanted a full set with my nails in the stiletto shape, no color no polish just the full set. I knew I should have stopped him once i seen the first nail cut but I was new to the salon thought maybe they do it differently here. But no, my nails Are horrible, my thumb nails are not angled correctly and shorter then the rest of the set. once I bought it to his attention he gets upset and then becomes aggressive while finishing my nails to the point i had to literally remember I was in a place of business because he was going to get cussed out. Pulling on my arm, slamming this down, talking in Chinese To the women beside him. I’m like sir I know I have no idea what you are saying but if you are talking about me it’s going to be a problem, say what you got to say in English. I will never return to this location.

I literally just left and they had good costumer service until I got the chair and the man who was doing my nails did not fix my nails as I asked and made a scene but Nina is the BEST one there I should have came the next day when she will be there and they where also very bulky and not neat

Terrible service. Very rushed and the prices don’t add up. When getting a pedicure you expect a decent massage. I informed the man I had a couple cuts on my hand so when turning it to avoid those. I felt as if he squeezed them on purpose. I reiterated the fact that it hurt only to be ignored. I would never recommend this place. They’re overwhelmed and rushing everyone, not relaxing or even enjoyable.

Went here was treated to a pedicare with friend, while on sheet that described pedicare namely calluses care, mine were hardly touched, and my friend had to ask that they redo her. Pedicare OK Have Gotten Better.

They offer beverages, and they have a ton of space to sit and seem to have appts available and not a long wait. Id recommend my friends to come here

I’m indifferent about my experience. It started off good until I got to my full set and requested the acrylic be pushed in and glued more on real nails to avoid less breakage. My request was declined. I was then overcharged $5 because I refused to tip for the service. Be sure to calculate fees yourself because if you don’t do the math yourself they will up charge you. My nails are currently tender to the touch and feels as though it will break at any moment due to it being glued so far up on the tips of my nails.

Just went for my first gel manicure and it was such a great experience. I also got stiletto nails for the first time and the technician was incredibly helpful. We called about half an hour before we went and we only waited the length of time it took to decide on nail colors. My technician was fast and efficient, but still friendly and obviously enjoyed creating fun looks. She gave me enough freedom to choose what I wanted but still helped guide me toward what would look good. Ill definitely be going back.

I’ve been going to Tony prior to him and wise wife purchasing this pretty popular location. He always does a good job on my nails. It’s typically crowded so I make an appointment or go on the weekdays early in the morning. Brittany and Nena are two other really good nail techs. Also the customer service is Adequate. I wish more people new how to do designs.

I had an appointment at 10am and I’m still sitting here, the young girl doing manicure has taking other people before me knowing I have an appointment. They don’t care. And she said she won’t do them because she has an attitude, I will not come back, neither will my mom or my aunt. And my mother has being coming here for years. Customer service is terrible. If I could put 0 stars I would!

Awesome pedicure! Super comfortable chairs that recline all the way back. Very relaxing. I get very bad calluses, and Sonny took the time to really work on them. My feet feel softer than they have in a long time!! I have been coming for about a years or so and I love the place Everytime! High quality service. Highly recommend!!

I went in mid-day yesterday for (my first) gel manicure. Cant say enough about their services! They try to maintain place tidy and clean. The staff were very meticulous and skilled. The gel manis are so shiny. And has a good price! Would recommend this place to anyone :).

This nail salon isn’t terrible, but I think some of the employees rush their work. I went in for a powder gel full set, and one of my nails broke off just from me scratching my scalp. Yes, the prices are pretty decent, but sometimes it pays more to spend a few extra dollars elsewhere.

I went to this establishment on Friday 2/22/19 for a full set acrylic and pedicure. I must say Kim did an excellent job with my nails! My last four nails I wanted a design, but for some reason he said someone else had to do it. I was walked down to station 2. The lady was working on someone else which I didn’t mind at all. The customer whom she was working on looked at my picture of my designs and advised that she just asked her to do those same designs and she was told she didn’t do designs. I politely asked the woman if that was true, because I was sat at her station for her to do so. Let’s just say she did an amazing job on the designs. The one star isn’t due to service, but due to being over charged. My full price that i was rung up and showed on reciept was $48 plus a $5 tip I gave. This morning when I looked at my recipe it showed $73 was taking out from LA nails. How does $53 goes to $73. Trust me I will be up there on Friday to request the correct amount.*** Update as of 4:08 pm or so I reached out to establishment and Nina answered the phone. Also she is the one who checked me out on 2/22. I advised her of the situation and the amounts I was referring to. Her response was that later she realized she forgot to charge me for some services and that to be fair she gave me a $20 discount. I advised her that before I left that day I asked if I was being charged for all services and was told yes. I agreed and signed off on one price and for you to do other unauthorized charges is fraud . I will go up there on 3/1 for my recipe and to speak to the manager. I will just dispute this with my bank since they want to do fraudulent charges. Thanks but no thanks I will not be a returning customer.

My daughter and I went here to get acrylic nails..staff was very nice, but I just feel like the quality of the work that they do doesn’t match the price that they charge. I would only come here if I needed my nails done in a pinch.

I really like them, they tell you your price up front and as they go they tell you what they are charging for. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars is because their shape isn’t always the best and when you walk in they don’t always greet right away . But color selection and mannerism is good once you get in the chair .

As the years go on this shop gets worse and worse because they changed their entire staff. I got my nails done Wednesday and the guy put way too much acrylic on they look thick and nasty. He had to keep repainting them for some reason. Also when I went to pay the girl tried to tell him I got a pedicure I’m like no I didn’t I walked in and you told me to sit in chair 6 after I said I need a fill in. Been going here about 7or 8 years especially when Donny was the owner but I’m never going back. Y’all really suck now.

Ive been going to this nail salon for years. And it really is a shame how theyve become so money hungry. All the best nail tech are working in other locations. Over pricing to the fullest the only thing they offer is gel nail polish which doesnt even last as long as they say. And ALL new nail techs are in training its horrible !!!

Ive been going to LA Nails for around 14 years, and Ive never had such a poor experience in my life. They swindled me out of $75 for a nail job where the paint is so thin you can see my nail underneath. My toes were asked to be designed. The artists put a bunch of gold globs on my purple toes, like a lady bug. I asked him 4 times to give me simple lines as a design and I finally left out of there with no design on my toes because he kept messing them up. The Cateye design on my fingers doesnt span the whole nail, and on top of that Donny tried to get smart with me and then told me they were giving me a hook up.In all the years that Ive been there, today is the day that i say ill never ever come back. Like everThe service was poor, the work was poor, and they were talking negatively about me.I intend to report them to the BBB as well for refusing to correct my finger nails. I cannot believe after all the years Ive been going here, they would treat me so poorly. 3 generations of my family were patrons of this establishment for about 14 years now and we will never be going back.

Im a guy and have gone to see Lee at LA Nails for years for a pedicure. Something happened there and the last time I went in, they told me Lee was out of the country...BOLD FACED LIE! Lee is alive and well at Beauty Nails on Trawick Rd. The new owners at LA Nails are running the place in the ground and most of the old staff have left. So if you are looking for Lee, she is just a couple of miles down the road. Beauty Nails is super clean and small, very good service. I realize that as a man, I dont take advantage is all the services at a nail salon, but Lee has always treated me respectfully and done a great job on my gnarly toes! I cant stand a business that isnt truthful... No more LA Nails for me.

I have (had) been going to this nail salon ever since moving to Raleigh 1.5 years ago. I am totally in agreement with those commenting that it has changed drastically in the last several months. All new staff - and most absolutely horrible both in ability and ATTITUDE. And now theyve started heavy-handed up-selling on mani/pedi options. At least they have printed a menu because before that it was hell figuring out what they were charging for what service. As a regular customer I was welcomed to come a bit early on Sundays to get started. Well, unfortunately the wonderful older woman who worked there left and a nasty guy came out from the back the last time I was there and was extremely rude. He actually followed me out giving me the stink-eye and then made a huge flourish of locking the door. Oh, and he place is FILTHY. Perhaps it would look better if they removed the Christmas decorations? I will not go back again. There is a nail salon at almost every corner...find one that is clean and treats you like a valuable, RETURN customer.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I got my nails done LAST WEEK..a week later my pinky nail was lifting & it pulled my real nail up. My INDEX NAIL STARTED LIFTING AS WELL AND IT CAME OFF WITH MY REAL NAIL AS WELL.. MY MIDDLE FINGER NAIL CRACKED & when I went to scratch my leg it broke off..MY POINTING FINGER NAIL BROKE WHILE I WAS RIPPING PAPER!!!!!!! The girl with the big flat forehead and drawn on eyebrows did my nails and told me liquid gel would last longer but like I said I ONLY HAD THEM FOR A WEEK!! I paid $50 for trash!! And on top of that she had a attitude because I didnt want short nails and she cut the side of my fingers...long story short ....NEVER Again. They dont DESERVE A STAR!!!!

Second worse pedicure in life. $20 more for gel polish? $3 more to scrap feet. I pay $5 less for a pedicure at nail palace literally down the road and get more services (hot lotion, feet scrap, etc) Experience customer service and pedicure it werent worth the time or money. I dont recommend this place at all I think people come here because of the location and/or its all they know.

My experience there was not the best. My nails are crookeded and I was overcharged for service. I had a gel fill in and a French tip and I was charged 43 dollars. So its safe to say I wont be back.

This is the worse place ever. 2 of my nails broke an hour after I got them done and they fixed the nails no charge next day. 2 days after 2 more nails broke. I will never EVER go to this place AGAIN!!!

I went on Thursday to get a pedicure and a full set and both of the nail techs did a horrible job on my jails. I’m not from Raleigh and was visiting my boyfriend, I got gel on both my nails and toes and it’s already coming off I’ve never experienced my polish coming off after 3 days not even with regular polish and gel usually last me about 2-3 weeks before having to get it done again. The paint job is terrible and I didn’t even want this size for my nails. I’ll be glad once I get back home so my actual nail tech can fix this. I feel like both of them rushed which resulted in these horrible nails.

The new salon owners are doing big things here at this salon! You must check them out! Especially Nina, her work is unheard of!

The first time I came Here I felt as though they did a okay job on my nails and I say okay because I didn’t like them they wasn’t how I wanted them to be. I later found out only one person there could really do nails but when I later came back I couldn’t get her to do mine because she was booked and all the others workers had became lazy, rude and they would rush instead of taking their time.

Came to get my nail done 2weeks ago came back for a filling. I was denied service due to them stating Im too picky. When last I was there I asked for ombre showed a picture and they stated they could do it. The nail tech did an horrible job and someone else had to fix it. However when you have ombre nails the shop that did it has to continue to do it until its time to take it off because another shop might not have the same color or product; just found that out. So I was stuck coming back to this place of unprofessional nail techs. Long story short if I pay my money I refuse to leave with horrible nails that I spend close to $100 for.

After a year of searching for the perfect nail salon, I finally found this place! I had a mani-pedi that was so relaxing, I almost fell asleep in the chair. All of the technicians are fantastic! So will be back for sure.

I would never in my life go to this place again! My service was very poorly done! As a media professional, having nails in tip top shape is key! And lets just say they wasted my time and money when I had to go back to the salon to get a nail fixed after less than 48 hours.I only went to them because my regular nail technician was unavailable as well as my back up... I WILL NEVER DO THIS DISSERVICE TO MYSELF EVER AGAIN! They are the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever come in contact with.

So my experience here was quite terrible. I went in with a general idea of what I wanted and a picture . A fairly simple design on an almond shape. He then proceeds to tell me that he doesn’t like doing it because it’s hard and makes him tired . He states this multiple times over the course of the filing . We then get to the design, first finger was alright after the first coat. He then looses all drive to try after I state i would like the design on my thumbs as well. He also disclosed that he had only been there for 3 days and that he could try but he thinks it’s was too complicated. Clearly struggling, other workers came up to him, looking at his work and giving tips. I started to feel bad because I felt like my request was too complicated, and it was just getting worse and worse as he kept trying. I still walked out of there with my nails a mess paying full price. I didn’t say anything, but the other employees saw what I wanted and the goal. Why didn’t anyone offer to do it for him? Why would he disclose such frustration with me for a simple request? I am all for practice, but when they look a mess and I didn’t even get what I wanted, after paying full price, I just know I will not be going again... I wish I could uploadba picture. It was just two straight lines !

I was very unsatified with the quality of products used, and once I explained to the guy how unhappy I was because of the shape and how lumpy the fill in was he proceeded to tell me its because they were already messed up and they did all they could to fix them. Then he said I was to picky and need to just go to where I usually go, he was very rude. So I will not be back there Ill stick to my place!
