Took my wife for her birthday to get a manicure and we were very disappointed. The man that was doing her manicure was right next to the door and kept attending to other customers walking in versus worrying about tending to the customer right in front of him. To start the experience we walked in and were told to go wash your hands without any concept of where the sink was and then she was rushed through picking out a color or colors.The man seemed extremely distracted and did not seem to understand her requests which were quite simple. When she pointed out that the two accent nails that he had painted did not match she asked for another coat of one of them he simply did not match them at all when trying to correct it. Given the atmosphere it felt like they were trying to do mass production and just get people in and out as quickly as possible without spending time taking care of them or letting them relax.Im embarrassed to say I spent money at this location and feel like for $35 you should get a lot better experience than 15 minutes sitting down and winding up with nail polish still left on her hands and a sharp nail even after everything is done and uneven nail polish on her nails.Needless to say we will not be back and sadly was a very disappointing birthday gift for my wife.

Sloppy and not well done - My six year old daughter could have done better. Employees were difficult to communicate with regarding what I wanted and were very inflexible.

Sad to say, but I’m incredibly disappointed with my visit yesterday! i went in for a pedicure and a full acrylic set. the pedicure was absolutely amazing, however the nails were NOT. my first time visiting and i constantly felt as if they forgot i was there. when i did finally end up sitting down, i showed a simple design of pink swirl lines and that’s all i wanted. the nail tech painted the base layer and then left me to sit for 20 minutes. when i walked up to the front, he told me that he already told me the design wasn’t possible? which actually never happened & my boyfriend was sitting beside me the entire time. i would not of gotten the set if i know the few lines i wanted on my nails weren’t possible. we called around and found a salon who could add the lines and it took them 5 MINUTES. it was so simple! this morning i woke up and one of the nails have already popped off! it hasn’t even been a full day yet. they were obviously done carelessly. i’ve had acrylic nails 50+ times and this has never happened to me. i am so incredibly disappointed and would not recommend going here again.

I love this place. The prices are a little more here however you get what you pay for at the other nail salons. Sandy is my nail tech she loves what she does. When I go in I dont have to pick out a color or design i just sit down and let her mind flow🌟)

They have a woman who works there that is named Mimi (Sorry if I spelled it wrong!) and when she waxed my face it came out perfect with little to no reaction from my sensitive skin! She was very kind too! My nails came out good the last time I got them done here too!

I love this place! Now I will say not everyones work is equal. You have to find who someone whos work you like and then stick with them! Thats how I got my girl and shes been doing my acrylic-full sets and fill-in since the summer of last year!

Been going here since 2018 when I moved to capital. Was looking for a new nail location. Van originally was my nail.tech.. He since moved 😣 but I still get my pedi done here. Quick service. Never a long wait time. What this place has that many other nail bars dont have ... Is Enough staff. Nail garden is fully staff with good nails techs. Also the inside is beautiful me... I paid $55. For my pedi service today. That included my gel polish and my acrylic I had to get apply to my big toe .

I do not recommend another visit. The last visit the male technician had an extremely hard time assisting with my nail art request. He got an attitude and stormed away after I told him that he had the wrong color and needed to redo. He said this is the last time. He had no patience with the nail art even though I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I had been here a few times before but this male technician showed me not to return again. I still did not get the correct nail art in the end.

I received a full face wax from Monica here. She is the most gentle waxer I have ever been to. Very little pain, left me very clean and smooth. Will be back again.

My nail technician Mia was the best technician I have ever been serviced by! Thank you for your professionalism and your superb skill set. She took her time which made for a thorough job and a pristine look. Mia took humble pride in her work on my nails. My husband got a pedicure and his feet have never looked like how they look now. I do not know who did his pedicure. We went here for our 5th year wedding anniversary. What a most wonderful gift.

Besides this place being busy all of the time, I love it here. The nail tech who did my nails name is Van.

So I’m going to start with the positive first. The place LOOKS very nice and the shop decor is very beautiful. My pedicure was a 5.6 out of 10 being that I’ve been to a lot of nail shops in Raleigh and the massage wasn’t as deep as most but the polish job was decent. NOW to the part where I’m the most disappointed...currently I wear my natural nails yes those are my natural length and I just get gel polish on top. I broke two of my natural nails and wanted tips and I called in prior asking for the same service and I also asked when I arrived at the front desk. I was assured someone would be able to do the service. When it came down to adding the tips (being that it was a Friday evening and a 1 hour before closing) they rushed my nail job and didn’t even shape my nails they recommend I cut all my nails and start over so my broke nails would grow all together. This is by far the worst nail service I’ve ever received in Raleigh, NC...I’m sure they have better nail techs that serve inside being that it’s plenty but I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here I spent $42 total to not even receive the service I asked for. It’s a no go for me.

Didnt feel like the nail tech and I were on the same page. Removal of dip and gel was good. Nail beds were still intact.

It was a beautiful space and very clean, good assortment of colors. I got the hot stone and it was relaxing and it was what I needed to get my toes back. I recommend as they have a lot of chairs

Received a GEL FULL SET and this was the result less than a week later! They all broke in the same place while doing daily tasks which means the foundation was not solid! Horrible customer service when I went up there for repair and manager wanted to charge me.

They take COVID Precautions, are very nice, and the place is clean. I always have Ken work on my nails and I ABSOLUTELY lovr his work, his skill, and his patience. This is my FIRST dipping powder set and IM VERY PLEASED ❤

I definitely would not come back here. I showed a picture to the lady what I want that has gold foil, and she told me they didn’t have it when the lady next to me getting her nails done was getting a set with gold foil!!! I just found that rude how I was lied to. Also she was giving me attitude because I didn’t really like the color SHE PICKED for me and asked for a new color and she just ignored it. I got a set with French tip and was charged $80... never again!UPDATE:Gel polish started chipping the next day!

My nail tech Lena did an amazing job! Hands down the best nail job I have ever had. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect. I am in love with my nails 😍 Sandy did my pedicure and she was also wonderful.

If I could give it a 0 I would for the price and the look of the place I thought they were going to do a good job, my gel coat on my nail broke in two nails as soon as I left the store and my first choice was Chrome and they didn’t have it so I decided glitter the nails are not fully painted and they look bad and I just got them done, if it wasn’t for my job schedule I would it came right back so they fix that hot mess. Oh well lesson learned and money in the trash

The environment looks nice, clean, and relaxing, but the quality is not there. I even tried them twice. The second time I went to them as a last result because my usual nail salon was packed. This time I got a gel manicure and a basic pedicure. My nails were chipping in less than 24 hours. A complete waste of time and money.

MY first time was friday. They were busy but they have alot of chairs as well as nail techs. I like that they were taking safety precautions like temperature scanners, protective glass and of course masks were mandatory. I went and got a longggg overdue pedicure. I skipped the basic and went straight to the deluxe. Basic is $35 mine was $45. That was not including the gel polish. The pedicure was about 35-45 mins and about 5-10 to apply polish. IT was very relaxing, chic and also clean. They even had a bar but it was closed. Overall I had a great experience. I just dont know if Im willing to pay $50-$60 for just my toes. Other than that It was a great place and I would recommend.

This was one of the worst nail salon experiences I’ve ever had. In less than 12 hours my full acrylic set has formed obvious bubbles and looks atrocious. This is the thickest I have ever seen a full set. Not to mention the service was terrible. Do not let Lena touch your nails. She consistently grabbed a painful spot on one of my fingers after I told her it hurt no less than seven times. She did not speak more than 10 words to me and roughly moved my hands with no instruction. I have naturally bent pinkies and it felt like she was trying to break my fingers as she was painting. I asked for a manicure with a full set and was completely ignored about wanting a manicure until halfway through my set when I mentioned it a third time. She would not answer any of my questions asked directly to her, instead the technician beside her had to answer me. I wanted my nails to look nice for my engagement photos tomorrow, but I guess that is out the window.Update: after talking with my mother about how we had a bad feeling about this place, I decided to go to a different salon for repairs. They were astonished at how shoddy the workmanship was and the amount of acrylic on my cuticles. I will not be returning to Garden Nail Bar, and I highly recommend TM Nails on the other side of Raleigh.

WATCH OUT!! Be certain to look at your receipt. They charged 2 separate tips on my card without my consent or knowledge. I had already tipped the nail tech $10. Then the gel polish didn’t even last a week before it started to peel from the bottom of my nail. Very poor value and they are deceptive.

I loved it. Walking in, you can tell by the decore and layout that this is a professional place that is about to provide quality work. As soon as you enter you must wash your hands regardless of the service you desire. This is not your average storefront nail salon.Then my temperature was taken. Every customer and team member wore a mask. I got a pedi and a was happily surprised to see they used new tools from a sealed mini kit for each customer. The water was HOT - which is perfect for me, but my guy could barely handle it. Everyone was friendly without being over bearing and I felt like it was a nice spa experience without the $100 bill.As a person of color, I didn’t feel stared at or pushed to the side - which often happens at places offering pampering services. There was a diverse cross-section of customers.Very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.

My nail was crooked and they had an attitude when i asked if they had another color. Also they dont have that many gel nail colors to choose from. The lady that worked on my nails messed up so many times🙄she got acrylic all over my finger and smuged 2 of my nails. They have decent pricing, but need better skill and bedside manner.

For the most part, I’ve had good experiences but watching how they have speak to some of their customers is baffling! They will go back and forth and then rudely speak in their language right after as if people arent aware you are discussing them! They don’t like to fix nails once broken either after you might have just been to them 2 days prior to get them done!! Lastly the girl with glasses does a HORRIBLE JOB!!! younger girl with a bob I didn’t get her name but I will NEVER let her do my nails again!

They wanted to charge me again to correct the matter. If they would of asked me to pay the difference it would not have been an issue. I left upset. For thats I give them 3 stars oppose to the original 5. The place is beautiful, nice soothing musice. Good on experience but lack the customer service some.

Went in to get a fill in told the guy i wanted square and short he rounded the edges and didnt want to make them short within the week one of my nails chipped and another the next week. I go to alot of nail salons all over because travel with my job. They are over priced and give poor quality work. Paid $46 for a poor job the most i usually pay is $36 for fill in and gel color and the other salons quality much better. I will never get my nails done here again.

I was very pleased with my experience. They are taking care with COVID precautions. My nail tech took her time and was attentive to detail. And when I ruined the polish on three toes while getting out of the pedicure chair, she repainted them with care. I will certainly return.

I had a fabulous experience today! I read a few of the reviews and they were negative, I dont know why, my technician was amazing and my mani and pedi turned out great! The prices are comparable, actually cheaper than North Hills and downtown Raleigh. The ambience is elegant too. I will definitely be back.

If their was an option for zero stars that is what I would put. They did not clean between clients and there was nail remnants laying around from previous client. I had a powder dip manicure, it did not last one week. Most nails broke.

The only person that has done my nails is Ken. He does an amazing job every time.

Just had the best pedicure ever with Ken. I have seriously never had a better leg and foot massage in my life. He was also was very detailed with my nails. I cant speak to anyone else but if you go see Ken you will not be disappointed.

It was my first time here, after a bad experience elsewhere. I had a great time. Nails didn’t even take that long to be done. I will definitely be back.

They told me gel would last longer but it’s only been a week and it has chipped already. My sister and my mom both got regular and theres has not chipped

I love this place they always to a fantastic job depending on who you get. That’s why I didn’t give five stars because not everyone there is grade A. I have had to some back occasionally for repair work way to soon. But they do take care of any issues right away. Did I mention there is beverage service.

This is a wonderful establishment. Tuesday was my third time visiting, and I have nothing but a positive experience. I came along with two other people, and we were able to be sat with a nail tech immediately. The whole ordeal only took about an hour and a half. Plus everyones nails look great !

Had to edit my review today! I was told that I CAN’T have regular polish on my nails because of COVID! SAY WHAT??? I checked with the CDC and there was NOTHING that said anything about that. They told me they can ONLY do gel... when I asked the manager to explain then why an old nail file was used on my nails, she said they don’t WANT to do regular polish because of the drying time. I asked if I can have the regular polish and immediately leave, I was still told NO. So to clarify... the are trying to make more money by CHOOSING to ONLY do gel even if you are not staying to have your nails dried! Such a scandalous, pitiful way to get more out of people. And just like that... YOU’VE LOST A REGULAR!!! Hope it was worth it!✌🏽

Almost half the nails fell off within a less than 2 days. Returned to have them fixed and still having issues the same night. Would not recommend due to the poor quality.

Great energy, positive and outstanding service. The shop manager makes you feel at home. The work that they do is the best. Even with my large nail beds, I was able to get the most natural look. I just found my Raleigh nail tech! The absolute best!And they can schedule appointments. They are a busy shop, thats how you know its good! I havent received other services but I see many satisfied customers when I go.Update Feb 2021: Still awesome! Sandy took her time and she worked hard to provide what I wanted. She was patient and kind. I’ll be back!

Im giving this nail salon. 2 stars.I was introduced to this particular salon about 2 years ago by a family member.They started off really nice and very professional.When I started coming I started with doing the acrylic overlay.Then I decided my natural nails needed a break.So I began just getting gel polish on my natural nail.Well needles to say the gel polish wasnt lasting on my natural nail so I would have to keep coming back to have the gel polish re applied.Long story made short one of the owners/managers seemed to have gotten frustrated with me because of my frequent returns to the salon to have the gel polish reapplied.I explained to her several times I wasnt interested in the acrylic only gel polish on my natural nail.In other words these people dont really want to do business with you if they cant make 💰 by encouraging acrylic nails versus natural nails.Thumbs 👇.It wasnt so much about the 💰 but it was how the owner/manager handled me.Idk if I will be returning. So if youre considering doing business at this particular salon.Beware they dont really care or suggest you wear youre natural nails their agenda is Everyone should wear acrylic nails because they allegedlast longer. But in reality theyre making more money off of customers who wear acrylic nails versus your natural nails.So Idk if I will be doing any more business with this place.The verdict is still out.But we will see.😞

I went to get a manicure with gel . To much skin was taking off of my actual finger and the polish was trash I asked for a French tip and walked out with half of my nail painted white after asking multiple time to take more white off ! I asked for French TIP not half of my nail painted!

Hands down the best nail salon I’ve been to. The employees who did my nails were Helen and Andy, and they deserve a huge shout out! They were both very friendly and made a real effort to talk to you and keep up conversation. Andy is hilarious!! Thank you both so much for my beautiful nails. They did an amazing job, my friend and I had a very pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations. we will be back soon!! Y’all should check this place out 😎

Great place to get your mani/pedi!

I had the greatest first time experience! One of the best salons I think I have been to in Raleigh. The salon is very upscale and chic and all the employees are very nice. They had a WONDERFUL selection of colors to choice from! I always think that is an important factor to any nail salon. I got in and got out pretty quickly. The stylist who did my nails did an amazing job. I definitely will be going back.

I went to this nail salon on Saturday and got a gel manicure and basic pedicure. The whole service the nail tech was nice until we finished and she seen I tipped $10, which I believe is fair since I got basic services. Her whole demeanor changed when she seen the $10 tip and she wouldnt even look at me. Its only Wednesday (4 days later) and every single one of my nails have peeled off in whole pieces. Wouldnt recommend.

My mom and I go here for our girls days. We get the Milk & Honey pedicure, and I always love it. They take their time with the massage portion, which is my favorite part. The ambiance is always nice, and they offer a beverage during it as well. It has a spa feel. I highly recommend this place!

Got full set charged me for design didnt ask for and was only 2 then there is space on lower part of my nails. Not pleased and hate having to waste money

Great service! I hit my nail hard shortly after getting them done and went back to get it repaired. Julia fixed my nail and buffed and reshined all of my other nails without charging me. I will definitely be back!

I have only been to this location twice. And normally when i go to a salon the second time i don’t get the same treatment the first time. But nope not here. The staff has always been friendly! I have been lucky to get the same nail tech each time and the tech actually remembered things from the first conversation which was 4 weeks prior to my last appointment, so i was pretty impressed. I would definitely recommend the nail salon. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff is very personable!

Danny? Did my nails and although he was really nice, he does NOT need to be to be doing nails. He did my shapes and lengths all so different and then said he couldn’t tell they were different. He tried to fix it but they still are shaped weird. Then the way he painted my top clear coat......most of my nails have bubbles on them. Just awful. I think I will be trying a different salon in the future.

Always do a perfect job. Very relaxing, quite and clean. I like a youngman named Thomas. Best manicure and pedicure I have ever had. I highly recommend him.

Ridiculously long wait time but there are some skilled technicians here; Andy is my favorite! Hard to schedule an appointment though and one of the female technicians got rude with me when I politely questioned the wait time- so I could weigh my options appropriately. Overall, I love the decor and the skill that is housed here, would suggest better scheduling/managing of clients and everyone should be on one accord with customer service :)

Mimi is the BEST!!!Ive tried at least 4 others and WAS NOT HAPPY! I REFUSE to spend money for my nails and hate looking at my hands because my nails are a mess!!! Mimi has been the only one who takes her time, shape and polish where you are pleased to show off your nails. She just had a baby and I tried giving others a chance but NO MORE! Twice and each time all I want to do is hide my hands😡 I will not spend another dollar in that shop until Mimi comes back!!!. If she doesnt thats it for that nail shop, ratings will go down and customers will find another place like I will in two weeks when I will need my nails done. I really hope Mimi comes back🙏🏻

I got my nails done 1/2/2021, in one week, 3 nails chipped by 1/9/2021. The guy who did my nails suggested gel powdered so they would last and it was a upcharge. So why is my nails chipping?

Today was my first time going to this nail salon. I enjoyed every minute of my visit. Mimi did my nails and they look natural and beautiful just the look I was going for. She is not in a rush to do your nails, she takes her time and makes sure you are relaxed. I will definitely be going back.

Visited for the first time and they were short staffed due to the holiday. They were very apologetic and the service was still great. The receptionist was very friendly and the techs for both my pedicure and gel overlay were great! Will definitely come back!

This place was excellent. They did a great job on your nails they had a selective menu for all the pedicures and manicures....they have drinks or wines while you received services. ALL AROUND EXCELLENT SPA TREATMENT FOR NAIL SERVICE.

I had an excellent experience and I was able to get my nails done without the small talk. BUT I must mention that I was present for someone’s bad experience while I was having a great one. There was a lady getting a manicure and the man cut her cuticles and she bled from one nail and she yelled at him because he kept cutting when she asked him to stop. Everyone in the shop (customers) was uncomfortable but the nail techs talked amongst themselves in their language. It was odd and off the strength of that makes me not want to return.Edit: I went again....bad experience, crooked nails. 50 dollar service for different shapes.

We are disappointed in the prices that are not fixed. They take advantage of the fact that the gel nail has not yet reached all markets. But with this experience we will not return while there are other options.
