Just got a kz750 chopper frame, fenders and parts powder coated. TJ was great to work with. I got to pick out my color and turn around time was about 2 weeks (a little less actually) from drop off to pick up. Best price in town after getting quotes. About $350 for the frame and all the various parts. That included blasting, a priming, color and clear coats.

I have not done business with Asheville Paint and Powder coat, but I was leaving my home one afternoon and one of their trucks nearly ran me off the road. He was driving very aggressively and way too fast in a residential area. I tried to call the company to let them know but the phone just rang and there was no answering machine.

Ive used TJ for years doing hi end pinball machine powder coating projects. His work is amazing, and has always stood behind his product w meticulous detail. His turnaround is generally 4 weeks for these types of parts (after I choose and order the powder through him), but well worth the wait. I couldnt disagree with Cameron.Ls comments more. Dropped off some pinball parts to get powder coated recently, came by, picked out a color, and set everything up. About 2 weeks go by, I call to ask about the progress... only to find out that I have to order the powder coating myself and bring it to them?Why did I even pick a color out while I was there the first time if I had to order it and bring it in?Anyway, I get the color and bring it to them. Another 2 weeks go by, I come in to see the progress once again, and what do you know? The parts I dropped off were still in the same exact same spot where they left them about a month ago.Not once did they call to update me or even tell me I had to the get colors myself.Now I have to find another place to do this job that should of been done weeks ago.

Hired Asheville paint and powder coat to powder coat a decorative steel piece with leaves and branches for an architectural project in Brevard, NC. Very happy with the results. Turn around time was 2 weeks, sandblasting and coating was done very well for such a complex piece, leaves were not damaged. I am very happy and my clients are very happy. They went way up in prices. Id recommend getting another estimate first. I got the same job done taking my pieces to a place in Greenville, SC and got it done at 1/3 of the cost Asheville Paint and Powder quoted me.
