I think the Wilde Raleigh Apartments is a wonderful place to live. Karl is a great leasing consultant and they nice friendly and welcoming staff. Since Ive been living here all the amenities are always available, clean, and functioning properly such as the gym, pool, and study areas. I have only needed a maintenance request twice and they have always handled the issue in a timely manner. I would recommend any student looking for safe and affordable off campus housing to make the Wilde their home.
Overall I have been here for a year now and this place is really Nice! Its not to far from campus as well as downtown. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff make it that way. Karl one of the leasing consultants has helped me tremendously with a situation that came up where Im going to be moving all the way across the country. He has helped me with any questions I have had as well as helped me look for new places to live. Hes extremely knowledgeable and cares for the residents here at The Wilde. He goes out of his way to help the residents and is just genuinely a caring individual. Im sad to leave but I know this place is in good hands with him being here.
The Wilde in Raleigh is a great place to live. The staff were quick to act when I had some issues and everything has been great so far. Special thanks to Karl and Justin for making my transition from California bearable. Also, come to the events if youre looking to meet new people. The activities are fun and its a relaxed environment.
If I could give this a 0 star I would. We are moving in and this place is trashed and smells moldy, is not clean, and has water damage on the ceiling. There is no management around to help and they wont give us another apartment to look at. Absolutely unhelpful and their advertising and web postings are NOT representative of the condition of the apartment and their horrible customer service. DO NOT RENT HERE!
DO NOT MOVE HERE IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. The apartments are subpar (don’t be fooled by the model, the ones you actually live in are dirty and in varying levels of disrepair). They send out random emails claiming you owe charges but then the second you ask them they say they are just mass emails. They claim for everyone apparently (based on me finding out from 5 separate occupants they had a similar issue to me) that there are “carpet damages” or “items left behind” and then conveniently claim they can’t find your move in sheet to prove whether or not it’s in the same condition as move in. If you move out early and your roommate who has a completely different lease leaves something or causes “damages” they charge you as well even though I asked them upon move out of that would affect me since I was leaving early and they told me no. There are a million better apartments in the area for similar or lower price DONT CHOOSE THIS ONE
I loved living here! The amenities are great, they have fun community events and the office staff and the maintenance people are always so helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend for students. Their club house is a great spot to hang out or study! Not to mention they are the only facility that I have found who includes parking in their rent!
Loved living at the Wilde. Staff was super nice and very helpful. After a mid year emergency with another apartment complex the Wilde was very accommodating and was able to get me placed in an apartment within 3 days, cleaned and all. The apartment and ground are very nice and offer a comfortable living situation.
Fun and helpful. If there is a problem it will always get taken care of. Thank you Wilde.
I wish I could give this a zero. My son toured in spring and on move in it is all tore up building with tyvec covering even the windows. Dirty carpets and furniture. The appliance havent arrived like the stainless steel show in the model and on this site (they may come later - Hmmm).Bugs on the window sills, mildew on the tile in the bathroom, missing fixtures and dangling smoke detector. Filthy door jams and a pile of debris on the patio.I have already posted picture to my Facebook page warning all of the parent at the Hickory Schools as well as all of our friends and the Pack Parent Group! They sent a cleaner out move in day but we should have been notified it wasnt ready and offered either a reduction or a move in ready apartment.BE AWARE
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been more disappointed in a place I’ve lived. We couldn’t tour the apartment because of corona and I truly feel the 3D walkthrough was false advertising. There is absolutely zero lighting in the laundry room, dining room, and living room areas. My bathroom came with zero storage, while my roommates both had little closets in their’s with multiple shelves. I have had to buy/build so much in order to make this place livable. There is bugs all over the apartment. Also be prepared that there is very little parking. I live on the left side of the complex where there is fewer buildings, and if you come back at night all spots are full. This means I have to walk a good distance in the dark a lot. Good luck finding spots for your visitors too. On top of that, about 5-10 spots are taken up by construction dumpsters and cones for construction. They have recently begun a window paneling project which we had no knowledge of at the time we signed our lease. We have no access to our patio because of this. Also, construction begins at 8 am which means I have been woken up at 8 am to loud banging and talking outside of my window that is impossible to sleep through (I live on the first floor). I don’t know why they would begin this project now when they know students live here and need to study and focus for school. I also want to say that I have found the workers at the front office to be unhelpful. They gave me a bedroom key that didn’t work upon move in. I let them know on the Friday after I moved in and went in again a few days later. I finally got my room key today after they knew of the issue for over 2 weeks, only because I went in for the 3rd time and someone finally said he’ll go make me a key. I feel like this apartment does not care about me or my safety, and wants to make money off every little thing. I have been extremely disappointed. I lived at Campus Crossings up the road last year and it was a million times better and we paid less for it. I wouldn’t live here again, and if you are thinking of living here I would recommend not.
Just A Big False Advertisement Situation. The Apartments Look NOTHING Like The Pictures Nothing Is “NEWLY RENOVATED” Everything Is Old, Ran Down && Dirty. They Claim They Have Cleaners To Clean The Apartments Before Move In But Definitely Wasnt Professionally Cleaned && If It Was They Need To Get Their Money Back Because NOTHING WAS CLEANED EVERYTHING WAS STILL VERY MUCH DIRTY. This Is Literally The Worst Apartment I’ve Ever Lived In 100% NOT LUXURY!! There Is NO PARKING DUE TO THEM HAVING BIG TRAILERS TAKING UP ALL THE SPOTS. Trash Is Always Over Filled. Apartments Are Horribly Painted && Put Together. They Make You Pay A Extra $12 A Month For Renters Insurance When Its Way Cheaper To Just Buy Your Own. The Way The Apartment Looks It Should Have Been $500 Monthly Definitely Not $700+. My Stove Isnt Property Put In Place It Wobbles, There Has Been A Hole In My Wall Since I Moved In, If I Use The Microwave For Longer Than 3 Mins It Shuts The Power To Half Of My Whole Apartment Off! Honestly I Really Wish I Never Moved Here Worst Decision Of My Life. The Outside Of The Apartments Are Filthy As Well They Claimed To Have Power Washed The Outside Of The Apartments But They Either Didnt Or Did A Lazy Job Because Its STILL DIRTY NOTHING HAS CHANGED LITERALLY!! I Already Have Been Looking For Other Places Because I Hate Everything About This Place DO NOT GO BASED OFF THE MODEL APARTMENTS NONE OF THEIR APARTMENTS LOOK LIKE THAT !!! WHY DOES THIS APARTMENT EVEN HAVE 4 STARS ?! i Dont Even Have Company Over Because This Is Such A Horrible Looking Apartment
Great people ! And always have everything on point ! Apartments are in GREAT condition Well recommend!!
***The Wilde and I are in the process of working this outEverything was decent until checkout when they charged me $100 for my parking sticker that would have just gotten thrown away. I was just subleasing for the summer and had a rental car which broke down. I lost a lot of things, including my parking sticker, and still haven’t gotten them returned from the rental company. I explained my situation at check-out, but was just told it’s “in the lease” and I’m sure it is, but I would have appreciated some understanding and compassion from the staff. I would pick somewhere else if you can.
If I could rate this place 0 stars I absolutely would. I have lived at the Wilde for over a year now and the quality of everything within this complex has become so much worse over time. There is trash everywhere and the place is an absolute mess. In addition, our recycling bins were taken away and there is nowhere for us to properly recycle. Dog waste everywhere, trash piling up around the dumpsters, resulting in cockroach infestations. It is a terrible look for the community. The amenities are not much better, either; the gym is very dirty and recently a ceiling fan fell and shattered all over the gym floor! It feels unsafe to be in there at times.Although I was told maintenance on the siding of buildings/window replacements would happen only over the summer, this complex decided the best time to start maintenance was right when everyone moved in. So far, at least 15 parking spots have been taken away from residents on our street due to extra dumpsters being place in spots. It has gotten so difficult to park that I, along with other residents, have had to park at DIFFERENT complexes so we could come to our apartments at night. It is frustrating that we are paying rent and an included parking fee just to not even be guaranteed a parking spot every day.We have tried on multiple occasions to reach out to the office and indicate our concerns only to be shut down and talked down upon in a very rude manner. The previous review I left, along with many of the 5-star reviews on this page, were a result of bribery from the employees that promised us free merchandise if we left a 5-star review.Do not live at the Wilde if you can help it. Your concerns will not be heard and it is nowhere near as great as the website makes it seem.
They have over priced everything and there is no possible way you will rent from them and not have add-ons throughout your rental agreement. My son spent less than a month in this place and we were still charged with unexpected add on expenses. I would give them a zero if I could.
There is no way to reach the team at Wilde Raleigh - although there are supposedly various ways to reach them, they do not bother responding to any of them appropriately. Worst residential Portal too. Awful experience in setting up the bank / card for making the lease payment. My daughter has moved in and now facing even more issues. Extremely dirty apartments, mattress with pizza stain, cockroaches, missing baseboards, beeping smoke detectors - work orders raised, emails sent and left a voicemail. Similar to the experience before moving in, there is no response. They claimed that I should be happy that the team is working so hard to get the apartments ready for the students and hence the delay. An extremely shoddy job that is only interested in taking your money and doing nothing to take care of issues before or after moving in.Their response for not cleaning the apartment was to send a cleaning service a month later!!They have charged for insurance, although we have already taken private insurance. No response on that either.Their response below “to stop by the office” is just a sham. I don’t live there (my daughter does) and the least they can do is pick up the phone or respond to emails.I would give a zero rating if I could. Extremely disappointed.
The reviews on google are mostly fake. The office will give out free merchandise for a review. The office staff give out false information regarding leasing, renters insurance, and maintenance often times resulting in residents paying additional fees. The trash is always overflowing resulting in trash in the streets of the complex and a severe roach problem in many of the apartments. Maintenance can take up to 6 weeks to fix simple issues and will often do nothing unless they are reminded. The office is difficult to contact and amenities have been closed for over a year yet the fee for these have not decreased.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. When I was first looking here I loved how big the rooms were and how beautiful everything was, the counters were amazing and the furniture was perfect. And it was a very good price. Then I moved in. The pictures and tour were completely inaccurate. Almost none of the amenities were available 75% of my lease. The shuttle was unreliable. The pool wasn’t opened until mid-June (not at all in August). The so-called 24 hour study rooms were only open around 7 hours a day, 6 days a week. I had constant issues with my apartment itself. When I moved in there were scratches on the floor, water damage and mold, no carpets, no breakfast bar area, etc. We had centipedes coming in weekly or daily for a majority of our lease. I made several complaints and requested maintenance, they would say they “fixed” it and less than 24 hours later there would be more. I had to get my own WiFi because of how often it would go out in the complex and more specifically my building. I had to quit my job and miss out on class some days because I couldn’t get internet access. The maintenance people let my INDOOR cat out once as well. The Wilde accepted no responsibility for this. There have been so many car accidents in this complex, I witnessed at least 3 just right outside my window and was in one myself. Most recently, I had my car broken into. Someone just rummaged through my things. When I went to the office I was told I was the 3rd person that day to tell them my car was broken into. They did absolutely nothing. I feel completely unsafe here but am stuck in my lease for the next several weeks. Since I’ve had such an awful experience here I decided to leave here as soon as my lease is up, which would have left me with 3 weeks were I was literally homeless because The Wilde does not offer leniency in their lease dates. I would not recommend this complex to anybody.
I just recently moved in and Karl at the front office made the entire process so easy for me! He was personable and extremely helpful. I do wish I was given more information about my roommates before moving in but overall great place for students with a caring staff!Edit: The maintenance staff are absolutely amazing. They are so helpful and do amazing jobs!!
My rent is very reasonable, and there are a lot of great amenities. There is a pokemon GO gym on property, which is fun, and the office people are super friendly.
Pool still isnt open. The complex has had over an entire year now to clean, prepare, and maintain this amenity. There shouldnt be any excuses as to why the pool is not open to paying residents. Since theres such a lack of desire to stay competitive against other student housing, heres a list of surrounding apartments that have opened their pools and when they opened them:-Stanhope (April 9th)-Uncommon (April 14th)-UV2505 (April 15th)-Campus West (April 15th)-Village Green (April 29th)-University Suites (April 30th)-Latitude (May 1st)-Redpoint (May 3rd)-Proper (May 19th)To add to the irritations, trash is littered across the premises. Disgusting, seems like a health violation. See picture below.
The wilde is an awesome place to live. Friendly staff, maintenance, and community members. Amenities like the pool, basketball court, and gym are awesome. Cam is a great employee and he can answer all of your questions!
Loved living here! Great amenities, great environment, and great location. The Wilde bus takes you right to main campus and there are GORaleigh bus stops 3min away. My apartment wasnt as updated as they advertised it and it smelled like smoke at first, but nothing scented candles didnt solve. Also Kam is the sweetest!!
I loved living here! The maintenance staff (specifically Nick) is super helpful and friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure all of our issues got fixed quickly!
In my old age, my memory is not as reliable as it once was. The kind man in the office named Clayton astounded me with his helpfulness and patience when I came to him for help. I was lost and trying to find my way around to meet with my granddaughter, who lives in the apartments. Thank you Clayton and to this establishment for hiring such a remarkable young man!
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I toured this apartment complex months ago. On the tour they showed a model unit of what would have been a newly renovated and furnished apartment. We asked about seeing one of the actual units but were told no because they were occupied, but that our apartment would be pretty much the same as what we saw (except there would not be light fixtures). Under the impression that were were getting what we saw, we signed for the newly renovated 4 bedroom elite unit. Upon going to move in today, me and me and all my roommates were literally in tears. There was mold everywhere, no new appliances or cabinets as promised for the 4x4 elite units and NOTHING had been cleaned despite paying an $80 cleaning fee. All craftsmanship was very sloppy, if done at all. There were missing tiles, gaps that you could see through in the counter tops, extremely sloppy paint job and our garbage disposal was hooked up via an extension cord that was just hanging under the sink!! IT was completely unprofessional and disgusting. DO NOT SIGN HERE.
Great place to live! Right near NC State. I recommend it to all the students, and relatively cheap. There are limited visitor parking spaces however and some of the dumpsters are taking up parking spaces.
Great big thank you again to Karl, you really are great at your job!Carl is a very professional caring lease manager at The Wilde. He worked diligently to get my daughter into a great apartment. Thank you so much for your listening ear and hard work.
I have had a pretty good experience living here! The staff is really good about working with residents and making things right if there are any issues. We had a few issues with the appliances when we first moved in, but they made sure to get the new ones in and make right on the issue. I love how spacious the apartments are and having a balcony to sit on!
Me and my friends toured these apartments with the help of our tour guide Cherelle. She was very sweet and was open to questions. The apartments are very nice and clean. The amenities were nice quality too!
Dont live here! Most of the things in the apartment are either broken or about to break. The people working in the leasing office dont know what theyre doing. The entire complex has only two people working in maintenance, so it takes weeks to get anything done. Also, expect frequent internet outages!
My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely tour with Tia today! She showed us a beautiful model apartment and so many amenities...there is a large gym with a variety of equipment, a huge pool with private cabanas and lounging chairs, conference/study rooms, computer lab/business center, coffee bar, basketball court and so much more. The rent is extremely reasonable and there is ample free resident and visitor parking! The Wild Apartments is definitely worth checking out—and ask for Tia!
I had posted before, but that was before I moved into this place. There is absolutely no parking available here, they always have construction going on, even at untimely hours in the night, and the apartments have many problems including mold and have bad cockroach problems
We talked to Karl (he was the man) and he was an amazing tour guide. He was so personable and we cant wait to (hopefully) meet his cats. Highly recommend checking this place out, youll feel very welcome!
Tia is awesome. From the start of the tour to finish, she made sure I was well informed and seemed to prioritize my comfort. She’s has a beautiful personality and is great at making newcomers feel at home. Thank you Tia!
I really enjoy living here! The staff are very helpful in the entire leasing process and in answering any questions I had throughout my time here too. Theyre really accessible and easy to reach out to. The apartments are of a nice size and the balcony is one of my favorite parts. The maintenance team is also very helpful and takes care of all of your fixes and more!Karl on the Leasing Team was very helpful in guiding me through my subleasing process and in answering all of my many questions. He went above and beyond in finding me the best deals and making the transition as seamless as possible. Awesome work!
My friends and I have been trying to find a place to stay for the upcoming semester. The Wilde offers such great prices, is near the campus and their staff is very friendly and helpful. We called them every time we’ve had a question and they always have the answer and if not they figure it out and get back to us. Overall fantastic :)
If there was a negative star option, I would give it.This has been the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in.BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff is absolutely terrible at doing their job. The office takes forever to respond to emails, does not notify the tenants when terms of contract have been changed, constantly try to up rent when no amenities are added, cancel WiFi and cable services without notice or change of rent price, take little action when approaching problems within the complex (trash, noise, etc.), and constantly lie to tenants about standards and maintenance.UNSAFE. This complex is extremely unsafe. If you are a parent reading this, please take this review into consideration. I am in my early 20s now, and I could not imagine a new college student living here for the first time not knowing the danger in this area. Theres always police cars here late at night because of domestic abuse, drug use, harassment, and theft. The pool gate is open so the whole neighborhood (people who dont live/lease here) come to the pool (creepy, rough, old people). The basketball court fence gate has been broken for at least three years, and random people come to play and are so loud at night. Drag racers like to stop here from the highway, rev their engines around 12am, and try to run people over in the parking lot.NO WIFI OR CABLE. One thing that the office will not tell you is that cable is not included and the internet plan they buy from Optix is the lowest, cheapest plan (i.e. slow and unreliable). The WiFi goes out at least once a week for a day or two without warning. The office will not address this issue and fails to apologize, notify, and refund tenants for the inconvenience. (My WiFi went out as I am typing this... the irony)WORK ORDERS TAKE FOREVER, SOMETIMES NEVER. Maintenance takes forever to resolve work orders. Sometimes they get cancelled without notice or reason. Even when orders are submitted, the workers half fix everything to save time and effort. The sexist maintenance manager refuses to admit when he is wrong and does not fix the issue promptly. We had a WATER HEATER OUT for three weeks, NO AC FOR 8 MONTHS, and damaged floors and cabinets upon moving in for four months, to name a few.NO EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE. Although there is a phone number listed for emergency work orders, it is the same number as the office. This means an emergency work orders can only be completed during limited office hours (if they actually pick up the phone).NOISY HIGHWAY. The noise from the highway is so loud and hard to get used to. Office lies about the noise when you tour. It is hard to fall asleep to drag races and ambulances at 3am every night.TRASH IS EVERYWHERE. The garbage is not picked up for weeks at a time and towers next to the dumpsters causing all kinds of animals to pick at the trash. Just disgusting. The green spaces are also covered in loose trash that never get picked up.MOLD. During the winter and spring months, mold in the walls and window seals grows. Despite using endless amounts of bleach and cleaning window cracks every week, the mold grows back and smells horrible.FAKE REVIEWS AND LIES. There are so many lies that they feed you to get you to sign. The office gives you money off rent if you give a nice review before you sign. Therefore, the high rated reviews here are mostly fake and deceiving. The countertops in the kitchen are not granite; they are quartz. The countertops in the bathroom are not granite; they are laminated fake granite.NO PARKING. The parking lot rarely gets towed. This leads to undrivable broken cars sitting in a visitors spots, boats and someones 2nd thrill ride car taking up other tenants spots.I could go on.I am sure a staff member will respond to this again saying I should call and speak with them about my experiences. I have done this for two years, and nothing has changed. All they care about is the complexs image to new tenants. Save the response and get to fixing the root of these issues. There are plenty of 1 star reviews to use as feedback.
Tia was super friendly is giving me a tour of the complex and providing me with so much information! As soon as i walked in a was greeted with a friendly smile and i could tell she wanted to help me find a place! I’m new to town and was looking for student apartments. She was able to provide me with some floor plans and told me about all the great things surrounding the area. I had a lot of questions which she answered and I left feeling really good about the complex! If you have any questions or want to check this place out, ask for Tia!
The Wilde was a great experience touring. The environment was very pleasant and clean. The staff were kind and had great energy!!
Clayton gave me a tour of the apartment and amenities. Everything looked beautiful, very clean, and well taken care of!
I came in for a tour and Clayton helped me! He was super friendly and helpful and answered all my questions!
Tia was a wonderful host on the tour she answered all our questions and gave us important details. The vibe was great! She is definitely the person you want to get in contact with if need anything dealing with this apartment complex.
Great complex very helpful, they plan very fun events for humans and your puppies. Doggie day was very fun!!
Karl did a great job with our tour. He was very thorough and allowed my roommates and I plenty of time to talk privately about making a decision. Overall very professional.
Just toured this apartment and everything was lovely! Cherelle our tour guide was AMAZING! Very nice and Knowledgeable! Highly recommend!!
All the reviews below of 5 stars are fake because the complex has incentives for good reviews. They give away giftcards, free food and free items in exchange for a good review. Dont even bother reading the good reviews, theyre fake.An update: they emailed us and gave us a days notice that they are doing major renovations to our buildings even though they couldve done this during the summer. It is loud and taking up several parking spots and ruining the whole modern living. They have the worst god awful wifi service, it goes down at least once a week and they dont do anything to even fix it. The apartment was absolutely gross upon moving in even though we gave a 80 cleaning fee, so they probably just pocketed that. While staff is responsive and good, nothing else is good. Apartments are garbage, wifi is garbage and most of the amenities are always shut down anyways.
I just finished up a tour with Tia and from the start she was amazing!!! Helping me get situated with a minor Communication mishap (completely not her fault). However that did not effect the tour it’s self. She sold me with all her knowledge and all the great amenities that she pointed out. Definitely hoping to call this place home soon!!!
It was really good and the person that gave me the tour treated us like we were friends and everything went well.
This apartment complex is so beautiful and has so much to offer! Our tour guide, Tia, was so amazing and helpful throughout the whole process! She truly sold us on living here!
This place is the best bang for your buck in terms of student housing. Very affordable especially for being in Raleigh! Not only that but the management actually cares about their residents and that is very important to me. There are issues with the apartment themselves but that comes with living at any apartment. The way that The Wilde puts themselves over others is that their management does whatever possible to fix the issue in a timely manner.
Good tour of the place. Guy named Karl was very knowledgeable. Got all the info I needed and answered professionally.
Its a nice place and I love the pool Cam is a nice dude.
Shannon is the best person to contact if you want to live at The Wilde! When touring she makes you feel so welcomed and makes it a great/fun experience! Shannon has been a huge help and makes housing less stressful when answering all of my questions!
I am new to North Carolina but Tia made me feel very confident in my decision to live with the wild. I loved the elite kitchen. I also appreciate her patience since this is my first place I had a lot of questions 😊
I moved out a while ago and Karl made everything so easy. He was very helpful and quick to respond to all of my questions- I wish he had been there the entire time I lived at The Wilde.
Tia was the best tour guide if you are interested in coming to tour The Wilde! She was able to show us all of the amenities and give us insights on what was coming next as far as upgrades. She made everything relatable to the lives of a college student. Definitely recommend!
Tia was a great tour guide, she covered everything and answered all my questions in depth. Loved her aura.
The people that work at the front office are very nice and helpful. The maintenance guys are super friendly as well. They have great staff here. Decent quality for the price but apartments seem a little older.
Tia was AMAZING!!! She is the main reason that me & my roommate decided to sign here. One of the best tour guides I’ve had hands down!
Tia gave us a very nice and informative tour. Answered all our questions nicely and gave us some goodies! The apartment was nice as well
Ive loved living here and the staff is great. Had some maintenance issues early but overall a great place with good people!
The location of the apartment complex is great! Super close to the park, farmers market, and restaurants. Maintenance is so nice and is working with us to fix a few issues that we have noticed since move in. Very spacious living room / dining room area. I also love having my own bathroom attached to my room. There are also so many great amenities includes such as the pool and game room.
My friend and I came to tour The Wilde and we loved it! Our tour guide was very nice and the rooms likewise. Everything being offered at The Wilde is well worth the price.
I loved my tour at the Wilde, my tour guide Tia was so amazing. She answered all my questions and was so super nice. In the end, she gave me a mug and a few other goodies. Overall best tour ever!!!!!!!
The Wilde has great amenities and such a friendly staff! The newly renovated apartments are great. It is affordable and a great place to live. My favorite part is that parking is included in rent and there is free parking for visitors. I would definitely recommend living here!
Hannah Gregory and the Leasing Office at The Wilde Raleigh was super friendly, very helpful & responded quickly to phone calls and emails regarding my son’s apartment. This year has been difficult for everyone due to the pandemic, however, Hannah always kept communication open and clear. We are very happy with the response received, and thankful they care about our student resident during this time. Thank you!
Great place to live, I love the local restaurants and the proximity to grocery stores and shopping. The staff is very sweet and resolve issues quickly. The only issue would have to be the leftover paint spots from remodeling on the floors, but otherwise awesome!
Tia did a fantastic job giving us a drop by tour! She was very friendly and organized and gave us all the information we needed to consider The Wilde our choice of residence next year.
Amazing!! It feels so safe even at night which is very important and the service has been incredible. Very helpful and friendly staff which makes the experience much easier during these times. Definitely would recommend!
Cherelle was very helpful and informative when I spoke to her about trying to sublease my sons apartment.
Upon move in day, our apartment was messy, but they did send someone to come clean it. The paint job was not adequate, and the appliances had not been installed yet. We had a pretty bad bug issue, but it seems to be resolved after having a bug person out here 4 times. The maintenance people are very nice and usually quick to respond, although our dryer has been broken for 4 months and we were told we were getting a new one, but haven’t. Our neighbors leave their trash outside their doors for days. Overall, you get what you pay for.
Nice staff! A few maintenance issues but we love it here. Wish the pool was open.
I’ve lived here for the last 3 years and I couldn’t think of a better place for my first apartment. Fun events and amazing amenities!
LOVED this complex! The units were stylish and the staff were super friendly! The leasing office had so much information to give and they answered all of my questions. I would definitely sign here!
Love that I can bring my dog to the Wilde with me. It’s been hard without her this past semester. Plenty of large spaces for her to run around in and most of the residents seem very nice.
Nice property and amenities, spacious and clean. Kayla did my tour, very professional, answered all my questions.
The tour was amazing and very informative. The unit was very nice and all my questions were answered. The pricing made sense for the unit. The amenities are amazing and were all explained in great detail. I can definitely see myself living here and hanging out in the lounge space.
The Wilde has some positives and some negatives.(Apartments)The apartments themselves are spacious and come with adequate furniture. I have experience with the 4BR/4BA Lux.--The kitchen is a little cramped but the shared space itself is quite roomy.--The furniture and appliances are mediocre- they get the job done.--Appliances are quirky (they have small issues, annoyances) and furniture is not the comfiest.(Rooms)The specific rooms are a good size, but they are not all created even. Some have bigger bathrooms, etc.--The paint on the walls is poorly done.--The bathrooms are nice but may have quirks as well (mine was not well maintained, I had to fix the shower rod and the towel rack myself.)--Overall the rooms are nice, there are a couple small things but it could be worse.(Amenities)The Wilde Raleigh boasts that it provides lots of amenities. I have a bit of experience with these amenitiesGym: I have been using the gym for the past 6 months, so my experience is within that time frame. The gym has almost all the basic equipment you need with a few machines as well.--The machines and pulleys are old and creaky, some not properly screwed to the floor.--The air conditioning is almost nonexistent in the gym. During the winter it would be around 50 degrees, and now it gets around 75 degrees during the warmer days. I used to ask the front office when they would fix the air conditioning and they would always tell me soon, so I gave up.-- Overall the gym does get the job done. They have bathrooms and a water bottle filler close by and adequate equipment. If you are used to O2 Fitness you may be underwhelmed.Shuttle: I have only been at the Wilde during COVID related semesters. My roommate and I have still needed to get to campus for classes that may still be on campus, so my experience is within that time frame.--The shuttle had issues around the beginning of this semester. It was extremely unreliable with a shuttle worker that would sometimes just not show up. This was especially bad if you had to attend a class on campus, like my roommate. There were a number of times I would have to drive my roommate because the shuttle either was out of commission with a last minute warning, or with no warning at all.--The Wilde recently hired a new shuttle driver but in this past week my roommate still had to deal with the shuttle driver not showing up on time, and then saying that she was on lunch break.--Overall the shuttle is a nice bonus to living at The Wilde but you should always have a backup plan as the drivers seem to be unpredictable.Study Rooms & Printer: I have not used the study rooms because I believe they only recently opened back up, but they do look nice. There is a free printer in the main office as well, but you have to provide your own paper if you want to use it. It is also old and has problems, but most printers do.High Speed Wifi: The Wifi is not good. On a good day, I receive 20 mbps upload/download. Its not uncommon for the wifi to completely crash. The Wilde dodges all responsibility by reminding tenants that Optix is in charge of the wifi. Optix is hardly helpful. I would not call this high speed wifi. Additionally, there are no ethernet ports in any of the apartments.(Management)I have not had many great experiences with management. They seem to care mostly about making money and not much about the residents. They have many fees in the lease, so make sure you understand them all before you sign.Recently there has been someone asking for people to write reviews about the Wilde, so hopefully they will work on fixing some of the negatives I mentioned.
This is my first year at The Wilde and I love it!! There were a few complications with move in and such, but they handled it very well and exceeded my expectations. The staff is always nice and try their best to answer any of your concerns or questions you have!
I really like the location of the apartments and the community. It is nice to be around mostly college students. The apartment has been pretty nice so far. We had quite a few issues when we moved in but they have been fixing them and working with us through all of the problems. The staff and maintenance people are extremely nice. They could be better with communication.
Great experience here so far, staff is excellent and responds to any issues promptly. Would definitely recommend
Tia gave me a tour and she was really good, she was nice, she answered all my questions that I had about the apartments, everything looks decent to me . She was very helpful on everything I would most definitely recommend her if you want a tour she’s definitely the person to talk to I love her vibe and how she interacts with the applicants that’s wanting or interested in living at the Wilde .
Karl was friendly with great service. Was surprised at his knowledge of the property!
Tia was so amazing. The tour was beautiful. The pricing is great for what you get!
Great staff and tour! The low prices for a fully furnished apartment quickly made The Wilde our first choice for next school year. I am so relieved we dont have to do any more apartment hunting.
Jasmine was super friendly! She answered all of my questions and gave an excellent tour! I enjoyed the tour and she walked us through the entire process of applying and even move in! I would recommend!
I really enjoyed touring the Wilde. Tia showed us all aspects of the community. She was able to answer all of our questions and explain the differences between lux and elite apartments.
I recently toured The Wilde and was very impressed! There was a little miscommunication with the scheduling of my appointment however, the staff were able to get it straightened out. Jasmine toured me and my family. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the community, the apartments, and its surrounding areas. She assured that I would be a quick drive to campus and that they even offer a shuttle service. I certainly appreciated the various forms of covid-19 precautions such as wearing a mask at all times, limitation of people, and etc.
Cool and fun and big rooms. Kitchen rlly nice too.
Amazing management that has helped me with the MULTIPLE questions Ive had! Love all the updated amenities, cannot wait to move in!!!!
My experience with Jasmine was wonderful! She was very helpful in the leasing process and knowledgeable during the tour. I would recommend asking for her whenever you do come and visit The Wilde!
The Wilde staff is always very friendly and helpful when you come to them with any issue or question. They have been extremely helpful during this time with making sure your safety is number one. Even though some amenities are closed due to Covid, I have really enjoyed living here. The bedrooms are very spacious for storing a lot of your belongings.
I really like the location of The Wilde Raleigh Apartments, very close to NC States campus and has a shuttle (free of charge) to take you from the apartments over to campus. A lot of amenities to use that are very useful. Study rooms, gym, basketball courts, etc. Overall a good place for a college student and also very good rates.
The Wilde is very nice! I toured with Jasmine! She is super friendly and very energetic! She seemed so happy touring us and connected with me and my friends! The property is very pretty and I definitely suggest checking it out!
Jasmine was an amazing tour guide❣️ She was very welcoming and honest.
The people here were quick to help with any questions I had. They did not mind my many calls and were there to help in any way they can. I am grateful that my child will be moving into a complex with such a great atmosphere and staff.
Went to check out place today and had one of the sweetest and knowledgeable young lady to show us around the property! Her name was Hannah and she was very thorough in explaining everything with the process of applying and what happens after the application process as well.. Thank you so much for all you do to make such a stressful situation as to finding a place to rent very easy and thank you for answering all questions we had..
