I loved my stay at Dartmouth. I stayed here for 2 years. Great location, the management and maintenance staff is awesome. Thanks Amanda for all your help these last two years. I can never forget - once I forgot my keys at home while coming back from the airport. Drew came at 3am and opened it for me. I had a lot of fun and great times here. I will recommend this community to anyone in a heartbeat.

We just renewed our lease for what will be our fifth year here. We love it. I commute over an hour each way every day to come home here. The location is unbeatable. Restaurants, bars, Harris teeter, target, all a walk away. The staff, especially Amanda, is top notch. We thought about moving but couldn’t resist staying another year in our undeniably chic apartment. This is our home.

We have loved living in our home at the Dartmouth! The staff has been awesome and very kind! The apartment has been lovely and very comfortable with plenty of closet and storage space and a well-designed kitchen! The location has been delightful for walking, restaurants, shopping and enjoyable amenities! We have felt we were on vacation for two years here and will miss it now that we are leaving. Thank you, staff, for providing such a lovely experience for so long!

Extremely disappointed with this building. We recently moved due to the poor maintenance and cleaning. They dont care about the residents and the Manager gets upset and rude if you complain. They constantly ask residents to post good messages here (with hashtags as I did). They also ask residents to donate their time to clean the common areas on Sundays because they dont want to hire staff on weekends. It is very frustrating. The common areas are only open during office hours and they removed trash cans from residents entrances. All management decisions are taking for their benefit and not their residents. Entrance is always dirty and elevators and hallways always smells like dirty dog. Last month we spent 4 days without elevator and that was enough to us. This is definitely NOT a luxury building. #Dartmouth #Fogelman

By far, the finest and luxury apartment to stay in North hills. I have been living in Dartmouth for close to 3 years, and my experience has been excellent. I must say that Dartmouth has friendly staff, and the manager is always available for assistance. By far the best apartment community to live in. Amenities are great; the parking deck is never overcrowded. Neighbors are friendly, and the most suitable choice is that I walk to work, which is an advantage for other folks whose offices are next to the apartment. Its at the perfect location to take advantage of several restaurants, stores that are right next to the apartment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Dartmouth.

This is home 🏡We had been living in Dartmouth for almost three years, and its irreplaceable - I really mean that! This place is neat and at a perfect location, very easy to get around with North Hills shuttle service, and walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. The community manager and leasing professionals are very helpful, totally approachable whenever I have had any questions. Its amazing how they take care of just everything and everyone in the community. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Theres a life here at The Dartmouth!!

The previous review (with 2 stars) is just about right. The building is always dirty and the manager always has an attitude and seems to hate her job. They dont clean often at all. The coffee machine never works and the common areas close at 4:30pm including the gym. The elevators quit working almost every week and they take forever to fix it (sometimes 2-4 days). I cannot wait until my lease ends. This is certainly not how a luxury apartment complex should be managed and maintained.

ELEVATORS NEVER WORK. Almost every week they have an issue and management does nothing. FOGELMAN this building is falling apart. People smoke cigarettes and pot in the stairwells and entrances. Carpets in hallways are always dirty and you can smell humidity in some of the units. THIS IS NOT FAIR!!! If you are planning on moving to North Hills, this is not the place.

VERY NOISY. you can hear everything above you like the floors are cardboard. People smoke in the staircases. Your packages are left unattended in a mail room for anyone to take.

Friendly staff! Anytime there has been an issue/concern management has fixed/corrected right on the spot! I love the Amenities and all the shops and restaurants around. Perfect location to live!

My husband and I just moved into the Dartmouth and love it. The kitchen is very functional and easy to navigate. The cabinets and pantry have plenty of space. At first, we were concerned about the washer and dryer being in the kitchen, but they are very quiet and efficient. The closets are huge! I love the built in book shelves. We have two 80+lbs dogs that enjoy the dog park across the street. The dog washing room is very convenient with washing the dogs. The only thing I would suggest is that the dog wash room would have hooks on the wall for leashes. The apartment staff is very accommodating and do everything to make sure you get what you need. We had a kitchen sink leak and it was fixed within 24 hours of submitting a ticket. Definitely recommend the Dartmouth! So happy with our choice.

I have been living here for close to a year now and the staff has been consistently the best I’ve ever known. They are always on top of things and will go the extra mile to help when needed. The building is very well maintained and feels comfortable. It’s a great spot to feel at home while living the apartment lifestyle.

By far the best apartment community I have lived in, and Ive lived in 8 different complexes in the past 5 years. Amanda went above and beyond from move in day to move out day to make sure everything was handled in a professional and friendly matter. This will always be the apartment community I recommend to friends and family looking for a place to live in Raleigh. Unfortunately, I had to move for work, but if move back to the area I will be moving back in to Dartmouth.If youre looking for friendly staff, and a great location - look no further.

Today, I walked into The Dartmouth and had a SPECIAL ENCOUNTER. Wendy, The Leasing Agent, helped me feel welcomed and relaxed. She was ENGAGING and congenital and p provided an opportunity for me to sit down and relax. She also offered me snacks and water! I was so impressed with the service. I then spoke with Jennifer, the Assistant Manager. Jennifer was so kind and sweet just as Wendy was. I would love for everyone to visit them and I will highly recommend the Dartmouth.

I absolutely love living at Dartmouth! The managers are always incredibly friendly and helpful. Maintenance is super quick. The amenities are great and always in good shape. My apartment is flawless and very high quality. And the location cannot be beat! I have zero complaints and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

I moved into The Dartmouth a little over two weeks ago, and I really love it here. I had moved from out of state and rented my apartment sight unseen, but it was in great condition upon move-in and Im very happy with my choice. The building is quiet and well-maintained, and the people are nice. Jenn and Wendy in the leasing office are so friendly and helpful; theyll go out of their way to make things as easy as possible for you. The Dartmouth is a great place that Id highly recommend.

I moved into the Dartmouth Apartments a little over a month ago and absolutely love it! The staff makes you feel right at home, and the residents are so friendly. The amenities are perfect and kept very clean. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking to move.

I called Dartmouth North Hills twice on Tuesday, May 14th to schedule a tour and ask some questions, and no one answered. I left a message with my name, information, and a callback number. It has now been three days since I called and no one has returned my call. I was seriously considering leasing here but I wont be any longer given the lack of responsiveness. If youre looking to lease here and are rightfully expecting prompt customer service or office staff who are interested in answering your questions and providing a tour, I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Absolutely love living here. The staff is unlike any other apartment in the area. Their friendliness is genuine, and they are extremely proactive when you reach out with questions or needs.The property itself is stellar as well. The finishings, space and value is unbeatable. Noise levels are never a problem, and the other tenants are great.If you arent living here, you did something wrong.

I just moved to the Dartmouth North Hills and absolutely love it here! Obviously you cant beat the convenience of the location. Hannah and Nicole are great! I needed an apartment asap and they helped me find the perfect apartment for me. I asked many questions, and Hannah and Nicole were both prompt and professional in getting back to me. Gorgeous apartments. Highly recommended.

We are so happy to be living here! It’s in the best possible location in Raleigh - just literally outside the door are restaurants, salons, Harris Teeter and the giant North Hills outdoor mall. Never out of things to do around here! The apartments are beautiful and the leasing management are absolutely lovely. We love it!

After moving to the Dartmouth roughly two months ago, my time spent in North Hills has been perfect. The staff here is friendly and helpful, the amenities are great, such as the pool, gym, and club room, and the actual room is modern and gorgeous. The parking deck is never over crowded, neighbors are friendly, and the apartment is in the perfect location to take advantage of several restaurants, stores, and events in the area. After looking at several of the living options in the surrounding area, Im satisfied with my decision to be at the Dartmouth.

The leasing staff and the maintenance staff (shout out Marco) has gone absolutely above and beyond to make the move in transition seamless. The building exceeded all expectations for a remote move and the area is incredible. Thank you Jenn and Marco!

The Dartmouth Apartments have been great since we have moved in. Not only has the staff been extremely helpful anytime weve had questions, but the facilities are well maintained. We are throughly enjoying our time here thus far. Weve had a few maintenance requests regarding our Nest thermostat and they have come and fixed the problem that day. Highly recommend!

We toured The Dartmouth looking for a 1-bedroom. Wendy McIntyre was exceptional. Although we didnt end up leasing a place here, we can only say great things about Wendy and how professional, knowledgeable, and helpful she was.

We are very happy with the customer service provided by Jenn at Dartmouth. She was extra helpful with us and answer to all our questions super fast and nicely. We are coming from London and wanted to secure a place before arriving in Raleigh. Jenn sent pictures, floor plans, answer all my million questions etc. We are looking forward to moving there.

Resident of two years! Recent decisions by management have turned this place from the best apartment Ive lived into a place I would only recommend to those looking for a quieter lifestyle.First the positives: Nice apartments, and dog park right next door, and they go the pool open in time for the 90 degree weather.Now the negatives:They now fine for the following and more!-Driving wrong way in parking deck.-Using the fire pit/grill after 10pm.They also suggest that residents should call the police on other residents for noise disturbances. I have lived in all sorts of apartments, and NEVER have I seen management do this.In short, dont live here if you are one of the following: YoPro, a person who makes noise, someone who likes to enjoy fire pits after 10pm, or an individual who take shortcuts in parking lots. Do live here if you like to have a quiet and tranquil apartment.

The building is even more beautiful than the pictures and the staff makes living here a real treat. Everyone is wonderful!

We will be moving here in August and the folks at the Dartmouth have been absolutely wonderful to work with. The area is fantastic and we really appreciate the way the building is maintained. Looking forward to moving in soon!

The staff is kind and accommodating, especially the maintenance guys. Its located in a Great part of town—residents are walking distance from a movie theater, several restaurants, bars, a bowling alley, etc. The only downside is the price, its at the top of my personal budget, but has been worth it so far.

Its been a year since Ive moved and here I am extending for an additional year! Its been a great experience thus far and a convenient location with tons of things to do around. I have a one bedroom that over looks the street with a cute little balcony. Apartment has beautiful wood floors, everything is new in terms of electronic devices, beautifully lit, and great windows to bring in the light.Throughout the first year there has a been a transition in the management, a new staff was brought in and that was a moment of Um, what just happened? :| Ive got to admit though Amanda and Jenn at the leasing take customer service to the next level! their friendly approach and attentiveness is striking, I drop by the leasing office often for packages or requests, they are always super nice and rush to help with anything. Looking forward to a great new year at the Dartmouth and their fab team!
