The apartment itself was ok. Quiet and well worn, but in decent condition. However, their required renters insurance is a scam. They use a company called Residentinsure and make it very difficult for you to use your own company. When signing up, the pitch says the policy will be cancelled when the lease is up but residentinsure will continue to charge you until you call them to cancel. Once the lease is up, Brookefield cancels your access to all of your lease documents so if you havent saved a local copy, you dont have a policy number or phone number for the company until your next bill comes. If you call Brookefield, they will say insurance is not their problem. When you call residentinsure, they will blame Brookefield for having inaccurate information on sign up and tell you they are keeping your money.

Ive lived at Brookefield for a few years now and I LOVE it. The level of customer service is astounding. Every time I call for maintenance or any questions, they are genuinely happy to talk to me and help with whatever I need. I was planning on moving out this year (for reasons that had nothing to do with the property) and when the move fell through at the last minute, they were more than happy to help me get my lease signed for another year, without any issues or price adjustments. I honestly compare every other property to Brookefield. If the people running the show arent as nice and generous as Brookefield, Im not living there.

I had to relocate because of lost income due to covid-19, I lived there for 3 years always paid my rent. I was in communication with apt manager Kathryn Kinane through the entire process I left the apt the way I received it, next thing I received a bill stating I ruined the carpet with blurred pictures which didnt even look like my apt I shouldve been allowed to fill out exit form but I wasnt shouldve took pictures but I trust that the right thing would be done. Now it is under new management and I spoke with new manager Charice she promised to investigate and nothing it went to my credit and Im sure the apt list years of renting and this has never happened. The maintenance was there with me saying goodbye to my old apt she was suppose to ask him. I was willing to pay any balance if owed and now during this tragic moment we all are dealing with I now have a report on my credit and Im now on the apt list for no just cause. I wouldnt recommend anyone to move here.

I’ve been a resident at Brookefield Apartments since the beginning of the year. I love it here. Kate and the rest of the staff are very friendly and courteous people. They can answer any question you might need. The amenities are always clean and accessible. Maintenance requests are taken care of very quickly. It’s a very quiet and friendly community. I recommend these apartments to anyone.

I love this complex! Staff is super nice, and quick to fix problems! Very pet friendly, waste stations are always clean. The property is very quiet and everyone keeps to themselves. This is the best place I’ve lived in Raleigh so far!

I took a tour of the apartments with Ms. Regina the leasing manager. She was made my tour very enjoyable, she offered me refreshment and free donuts. She was just all around a nice person and a perfect and actually cared about what I wanted. She gave me a tour of the one bed room and two bed room apartments. I really loved how open and spacious the one bedroom was and I also loved the big balcony that the 2 bed room had. The pool was beautiful, and I also loved the fact that there was a community garden. I was excited to find out that the pond had fish in it and you did not need a fishing license to fish in it. The car wash station was also a good touch, that is something that I have never seen in an apartment complex before.

First of all, I love the staff. When looking for an apartment they were the nicest, friendliest and very helpful. They made you feel welcome and wanted. Living here they have not changed. The apartment is very nice, clean and modern. Plenty of parking places and nice neighbors. Plan on being here for many years. Love my home.

I am new to Raleigh but I go all over because I have a lot of different interests that require me to branch out. Whenever I tell someone who is familiar with the area where I live, they tell me how fortunate I am. I truly think so too after living here now for six months.The staff are always friendly, the place is well kept, the trash is never piling up, the neighbors are respectable, the area is safe, and the grounds are maintained beautifully. Coming from the country into the city, it is a smooth transition here.There is a pond, a walking path surrounded by healthy trees, and a tiny gym open all night. There is always parking too.The location is convenient because it is right off of a major route that takes you into the heart of downtown Raleigh. Just out of the driveway, within mere minutes, youll notice shopping plazas, dance studios, dine-in movie theaters, salons, fast food places, great local businesses and anything else you could want in a community. Normally if you work in Raleigh, without the heavy traffic, youre around fifteen minutes from work.This is definitely a great place to live. I was accepted here with just the cash in my pocket and a new bank account. It was amazing when I was welcomed, and I thank the warm, caring staff as I think about a short story idea while standing on my spacious deck.

Stayed here for around 6 months but had a family emergency and had to move. I really liked my place. It was cozy, maintenance stayed on top of everything, and the staffing was very down to earth and professional at all times!My one concern was my water heater leaked during the summer so there would be a dripping noise throughout the day from the pan to the heater which was annoying. I had no other concerns.

Kate and Regina are super sweet and listened to every need on my checklist. They explained the entire process thoroughly and made move in stress free! They continue to demonstrate their professionalism and efficiency everyday! I love this community! I look forward to staying here for a long time!

Such a nice, quiet place to live. Office personnel always pleasant and helpful. I needed more bedrooms, or I would never have moved. I miss it already. I know anyone moving into my apartment will love my neighbors and the quiet, peacefulness of the community.

Regina, Kate, and Steve are great! Regina and Kate resolves any issues, will answer any questions, and listen to your concerns. Steve is nice and does a great job getting request orders done.I love stopping by and talking to Kate and Regina. This is the only apartment whose managers interacts with their residents. They always have something going on for their residents like movie night or bagel day. It’s very peaceful and the grounds are beautiful!! I love living here.

I love living here! The manager Kate is literally the best and is very responsive. They always are on top of their stuff and the atmosphere here is perfect for families! My son and I love it here and we feel super safe.

I wish I could scream it from the rooftops how much I love Brookefield! The service I have received from Krystal since day 1 when I inquired about the apartment has been outstanding. She’s welcoming, warm, and genuine. Every time I’ve been in the office, she’s juggled multiple people and phones ringing flawlessly. She took time to introduce me to my new neighbors as well as Steve from maintenance when we’d all be in the office together and she makes this place feel like a community! My apartment was perfect when I moved in and the neighborhood is so quiet and felt like home immediately. If you’re shopping around for a new home, definitely stop your search here!

I have been here for 4 years and the place is great. Both the office and maintenance staff do an excellent job plus adding in the location and quite nights make a great place to live.

I have lived here for three years and this is the best place I have ever rented. The grounds are kept impeccable and you can see Steve out early morning picking up any debris on the ground. Amanda and Sheila are the very best and always greet you with a smile. The location is great and you can jump on 540 in a minute. My neighbors are quiet and always friendly. I can not say enough about Steve the maintenance guy. He really goes beyond the call of duty. He has helped me with moving furniture, changing a light bulb, putting a water filter on my sink and not to mention the few times I had a minor issue he is there in a minute. I love Brookefield and this staff.

Moving to a new city and state, as I have recently done, can be very scary but I couldnt have picker a better place to live. I had multiple appointments set up to look at various apartment complexes. Brookefield Apartments was one of my last ones and I knew as soon as I drove in that I wanted to live here, therefore, I did not even attend my last appointments! It is very safe and everyone that I have met is exceptionally kind. The management is absolutely wonderful, the apartment and exterior is very neat and clean, it is quiet, and maintenance is very accommodating and quick to fix problems. I am so happy with my choice of living at Brookefield Apartments! You will not be disappointed with your experience here!

We have lived here for over 6 years, and the staff in the office has always been so great about everything for us. The maintenance has always been great about fixing any problems we have had. We like thequietness of the community, and the scenic views. It has been great for our school situation as well, havent had to move at all even with all of the school district changes over the years.

Safe, quiet, clean pet-friendly community with amenities such as a pool, 24 hour exercise room and a bark park. Good neighbors, excellent office and maintenance staff. Any concerns or problems are taken care of immediately. Near shopping, schools, major highways and entertainment. I moved here in April and I only regret I didnt find this place sooner. Me and my furbaby are extremely happy here.

I had the pleasure of living at Brookefield for a year and would have stayed, but was relocated bc of my job. Krystal in the office is second to none, literally THE BEST I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with when it came to any and all things there at Brookefield. Very expensive. Actually, every place is expensive and over crowded with too many people, and rates are just going up and up which traps you into contract you can not get out of. The corporation does not care that you can not afford the increased rates. They told me to f---off and move out if I could not afford to stay. The staff is nice, but very sensitive and not care about anything but your money and make you feel victimized often because of it. It is safe, do not get me wrong, but was much cheaper back in the days but now, trying to get out before contract expires so we can save money someplace else.The maintenance man, Steve, is great though. A+ for him.

Come rent here! The place is great. The neighbors are quiet and nice. The place is clean. The management is quite responsive to any issues. If there are any maintenance issues they are usually resolved by the next day.

Ive been living here at Brookefield Apartments for 2+ years. I moved here in the summer of 2013. Finding a safe and welcoming community with great staff was very important to me because I was moving to a new state in which I had no family/friends. I can honestly say that of all the places I visited, Brookefield Apartments was the most hospitable and had the most personable staff.The community is safe, peaceful and quiet. I have never had a problem with any of my neighbors. I rarely ever hear noise from the neighbors on either side of me or above me. The apartment is well constructed. Anytime I have ever submitted a maintenance request, it has been answered within 24 hours, unless I ask for them to come on a particular day. I stay to myself but the neighbors are very friendly and respectful. I utilize the pool during the summer and I take advantage of the 24-hour gym. The pool is kept clean and the gym is also clean, well maintained and perfect for me.What I love most about Brookefield is the staff. They have exceptional customer service and they are very attentive to my needs. Each month they do something for the community and although I do not get to attend the events, I still appreciate their thoughtfulness and engagement in bringing the community together.Amanda, Sheila, and Steve (and Russ), you all are so accommodating and caring. Thank you for the preventative maintenance checks, the news letters (I enjoy reading them), the treats (the trick-or-treat goody bag was very cool!) and for planning our community events. You all are consistent and reliable. Youve worked diligently to earn my trust and make me feel at home. I do not plan on leaving Brookefield until I purchase a home:)

I have never had a more personable experience in finding an apartment. Krystal was so helpful in making sure that my fiancé and I were able to find apartments suitable to our needs at a great rate! The property is well maintained and is right next to a small lake, and the apartment offers a dog park for dogs to play in. The walls are well made so I hardly ever hear my neighbors. One of my favorite perks is the dvd library that they have. As residents, you can go borrow a dvd and bring it back. Everyone in the community is super nice and kind. I have not seen a frowny person yet, and I attribute it to the awesome staff that keep things easy for everyone here! Honestly the best place I have lived.It is also close to stores and restaurants. I love the community.

Great location and staff.

I moved into Brookefield six months ago to be closer to my kids and have nothing but good to say about the staff and the apartments. Parking has never been an issue, they have plenty of spots around for residents and visitors and the area is well lit. Rarely do I hear anyone around me, the whole complex seems to be very laid back and any kids you see are respectful. The front office staff with Stacey and Lindsay has been absolutely wonderful, any time I call for anything be it a repair or just a question their response is always prompt and helpful. The maintenance guy Danny is on the ball with everything that needs to be handled, Ive never had to call twice for something. Its been great also because it puts me so close to the schools my kids go to, Durant Middle takes about three minutes to reach and I can get to Wakefield in about twelve to fifteen minutes. My only small dilemma Ive had is that the air conditioner and heater seem to have some problems keeping the temperature I want. Overall its been a wonderful experience that I would reccomend to anyone else. I always feel safe here, not like some other apartments that Ive been in lol.
