Really dirty apartment complex (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE) talk to the management several times they don’t do nothing…couple times my husband and I had to pick up trash out of stairs and grass out our apartment. Unbelievable!!! The apartment They gave me has no kitchen cabins it’s been 4 months that I been waiting for it and every time we ask for it they said this week we will fix it. Our light broke we called and they never send maintenance to help that he had to chase after a maintenance guy to chance it. Laundry rooms so dirty and ppl gather to smoke inside of there not safe environment for any kid!

A nice community to live in. Nice amenities, especially multiple on-site laundry rooms. Staff has been very helpful and nice the 4 years I have lived here. They handle maintenance requests very rapidly on most occasions. Id been having a complex issue with my air conditioner, and Roberto and Carlos worked tirelessly to get it fixed. They even came on the weekend to look into it. I appreciated that. Overall, its a great place to live.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!Came to tour around the residential area and was shown two apartment models, the ”Heron” and the “Swan”, and was in love with the Swan unit they had shown me! So much so, I signed the lease that day. The unit was spacious, in pristine condition, had marble countertops throughout the entire unit, spacious open closets, a floating carpeted staircase, beautiful new modern lighting fixtures featuring a modern shape and Edison bulbs, a lattice-covered fenced in outdoor patio area, lots of natural light, and a beautiful bathroom. After asking SPECIFICALLY about the lighting fixtures and the staircase and the closets, I was PROMISED that they were standard in all the units of this floor plan, and that my unit which was to be TWO DOORS DOWN to the same unit I was being shown would look EXACTLY the same in terms of fixtures, spacing, amenities, and remodeled upgrades. To be clear, this was NOT a show room model, this was a model that someone else moved into by 5pm that day, and they gave me a quick look inside to show me what it would look like as they had previously told me due to “remodeling” and being at full capacity they aren’t able to show anyone any units. Well, move in day came on Monday (07/19/21) (three weeks later) and they called me at 10:30am, 30 minutes before my movers arrived at my house, and told me I wouldn’t be able to move in until Thursday because “the appliances aren’t installed in the unit yet”. I explained that my new job started on Wednesday and that I had been promised to be moved into the apartment at 1:30pm on Monday, as stated in my lease agreement and as assured REPEATEDLY by the leasing office, and brought up the question as to why the appliances weren’t installed sometime during the three week period while the apartment had been vacant, and why it was being left to THE MORNING OF MOVE IN DAY to install things? Mel, the representative who called me initially and told me this, then continued to ask me if I had another place to stay/out my belongings until whenever they could get me moved in, admitting it might actually take WEEKS for the unit to be ready. I explained I was moving from a different city (2 hours away), and had SPECIFICALLY given my job a start date that would align with the move-in date I was promised, and asked whether I would get my pro-rated rent adjusted and whether the apartment was going to rent out a storage unit for my belongings and/or give me another unit to stay in or rent out a hotel room in the meantime for myself and my service animal. She couldn’t give me a straight answer and said that I would have to “file some paperwork and get my request approved” by the property manager, who I then asked to speak with. Jermal, the lovely leasing agent who had gone above and beyond to help me secure this apartment and who had been so upfront and honest with me the first time, then called me back and explained that what had actually happened is that when their maintenance workers removed the toilet to paint the bathroom WEEKS AGO, they didn’t connect it back properly and there was a slow leak in the bathroom that warped the floor and created a hole in my kitchen ceiling that was located below ( since it’s a loft structure), and apparently no one had noticed until the morning of, and the workers were repairing everything as we spoke.The appliances had already been installed, so I was initially told a BLATANT lie. Jermal guaranteed that everything would be fixed and ready for me to move in by 5:30pm that day. So I re-arranged my entire schedule and paid MORE to have all my belongings sit on the moving truck for HOURS after we got it initially loaded, and ended up not being able to get to the apartment until 6:30pm due to having to work around the movers schedule since they had another job to fulfill in the meantime. When I got to “my unit” it was horrifying. The pictures speak for themselves. To top it off I’m still not able to move in. So my service animal and I are essentially homeless at the moment, with my 2k already in their pocket.

Sliding glass door didnt shut properly and wasnt on its track, property maintenance didnt view it as an emergency so I had to get a friend to help me get the door to and LOCK so my apartment could be SECURE. No knob on my shower, and they said to just use my roommates until they can get over here. Toilet isnt bolted to the ground so everytime you sit on it, it rocks backward.... for a place that had been fully renovated they forgot some pretty important parts. And the fact that they dont come fix such things immediately? Not okay. I have lived here 3 days and I already wish I could break this lease. This apartment complex clearly does not care about you, your security, your property, or even your personal hygiene. Great first impression.

The Good:Definitely a more younger and urban community with fair prices for units.The Bad:In the almost 4 months I have been here, we were given wrong mailbox keys (4 MONTHS WITHOUT MAIL) which have still yet to be given to us because maintenance is busy which is a little odd since grass looks bad, cockroaches everywhere, trash overflows and dirty floors in community areas, trash everywhere on the ground in general.Not only that, I have just found out I have been charged $14/month for renters insurance when I have been fully insured (through Geico) since before move in, which hopefully Ill be getting refunded for.Every package I have ordered has been lost so I have to order things to be delivered to my familys home 30 minutes away.Leasing takes forever to get back on anything and cant seem to comprehend anything.Im a pretty reasonable person but these simple oversights have caused a huge head-ache and its almost impossible to get things resolved quickly.

Came home from work and my AC was out, within half an hour of me contacting maintenance after hours Carlos came to help and had it fixed. Went above and beyond, and was very helpful and kind. Ive had lots of help from the front office with moving as well, more specifically Laura and Jemal, who have also gone above and beyond to help make sure everything has been in order and up to par. Love the environment and have had a great experience here so far.

My move in day was on 7/21. I paid movers to move in my things at 10:30 that morning. When I arrived to get my keys I was told that I was not supposed to be moving in until 1pm that day. I thought maybe I had missed the email that stated that so I apologize and they allowed me to place my larger thing in the apartment. They also informed me the appliances were not installed yet. The house was a mess moving in at 10:30 but decided to give them till 3:30 before I came back instead of 1. When I came back at 3:30 my toilet still was not installed and my kitchen lights did not work. I let the office know and told them I would stay at a friend house for the night. The next day I returned to the apartment the toilet was finally installed but they kitchen light was still out. I also had a new orange stain on the kitchen floor. They also were supposed to replace 2 ceiling tiles and they didn’t. I spoke to the office again and I was informed that they would put the things on their maintenance list but a few units had ac problems and it would take a day or two to get to it. The very next day my AC unit stop putting out cold air. I returned to the office to inform them and was told they would come by at the end of the day. No one showed up. So not only my lights in my kitchen are out I also am sleeping in a 85 degrees apartment. Needless to say I am not impressed at all!!

Tried to rent here, did not have a pleasant experience. Went on tour and thought it was a great fit for me. I filled out a application on the website and paid the application fee and administration fees in July. Got a call the next day telling me that an apartment would be available on September 1st. Days went by so after not hearing anything back from them, I began to email and call asking the status of my application and was constantly told they would get back to me and that my application was still processing, until they just stopped responding completely, no longer answering phone calls or emails. At one point I received a email saying I would get a update and still never got an update on the status of my application. Today is now September 5th, and I still have not got an email or call. I paid my fees and I was at the very least expecting a call telling me if I were approved or not. Very unprofessional process and I was left feeling as though I was scammed.

Bad experiences, multiple breaks in the apartment Ive stayed in since Nov 2020- The current date. Takes upwards of 2-3 weeks for emergencies to be handled. Such as my fridge being broken for 3 weeks. And also sitting outside my apartment for another 2 weeks. When I requested a refund or some sort of credit for 3 weeks of living uncomfortably. I found out they had a horrible corporate response/ none at all.. When I tried to contact Dasmen directly was sent to voicemail two days in a row with no response. And my ac unit still hasn’t been covered since the last time they “fixed it “.

They have the worst maintenance service I have ever seen. It always take more than one month to complete a maintenance request. Sometimes, they even do not come to fix it. If you think about moving in here please do not do that. The maintenance service is the worst ever.

Aria North Hills is FALSE ADVERTISING. The photos are scams and are actually photos of their sister properties around the country. My experience with Aria has been horrible. Back in January of 2021 I was looking for apartments because I was getting out of serving with the Marines in early May. I found Aria North Hills and decided to make a 2 1/2 hour drive. The former property manager promised me an upgraded suite with a fireplace. I told her I was interested and to send me a copy of the lease agreement. What I got 4 months later when I packed my bags from Camp Lejeune, NC to Raleigh, NC was a DIRTY base model apartment with nothing that I had asked for and what was promised. I asked them to upgrade me and they said they had no space but they could try sometime later in the year. I realized I was gonna be a little farther than expected from my new job so I wanted to end the lease all in all. They asked for a termination fee. It was rent x2. I told them why would I pay for an apartment I didn’t ask for. They replied back saying “we can’t do anything without proof”. Understandable, however why can’t you just make the situation right? They can easily get their money back (was even told that). Regardless just a poor way to run any business. Also if I could, I’d post pictures of how they “sanitize” their apartments. Very poor job. Do NOT rent with Aria North Hills.

I’ve been a resident at Aria North hills for 1 year now. When I first moved here from NJ I loved it, we had Amazing people working in the office and now everything has changed. The staff in the office now are rude, never answer the phone, & we have to wait weeks for maintenance to fix things & the worse part of it ALL, is they went up $66 on rent without any warning. Myself and a lot of people didn’t find out until we went to renew our lease ( of course when it’s too late for us to move and find another place to live) $66 is a huge difference! They haven’t upgraded anything, it’s roach infested, there’s over 50 geese that walk around the community & everywhere so it’s starting to smell. They will even block you from walking into your apt. It’s HORRIBLE HERE

Apartment we moved into smelled of cigarette smoke. They gave us two sets of keys; one being faulty and it took them 2 weeks to cut us a new one all while being dismissive. We’ve sent multiple maintenance requests to get the shower head fixed, it makes a loud high pitch noise and my partner has tinnitus. And as of this writing, our living room light doesn’t even work anymore 🙃 (it’s not the bulbs, we checked). Sent an email to Dasmen and got ignored and the leasing office leaves much to be desired. An otherwise beautiful quiet neighborhood though.

We have had several office staff changes and I can say he has been the only one who shows he cares and has gone ABOVE and BEYOND to keep us as residents! I booked a touring appointment online for 4:30 p.m. (which is posted on their website to book a tour) and when I got to the place today I was not able to tour(even though I had a booked appointment). I am very disappointed. I feel very strongly that if you booked an appointment that it should be honored. It takes 10- 15 minutes to look at an apartment. I felt very unwelcome at the office.

We toured this complex and it was so old no amount of “upgrades” could fix it. The girl that gave us a tour wasn’t wearing her mask properly, the manager wasn’t wearing her mask at the leasing office, and the maintenance man wasn’t wearing his mask in the leasing office either.Then, we have now been added to their email chain of all the other properties, WHICH WE DID NOT CONSENT TO. We now have been getting emails and text messages from all the other properties and theirs even after being asked to be taken off the list. It’s constant!!!! If you tour this place, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR EMAIL/CONTACT INFORMATION.It’s harassment at this point.

So I just moved in in November and I must say in one month of me being here I fell in love with this complex the apartments are clean and well-kept all the staff in the front office are amazing polite and always there to help. And most importantly the 24 hour maintenance response to calls ASAP. All in all an amazing place to be.

When it comes to the true meaning of customer service, I have only one name at Aria North Hills Apartments and it is Linda Moore! I used to live in this community before for more than 4 years (I kept renewing my lease!) and the only reason moved out was because I wanted to be close to school in Durham. When, I was looking for a place to stay in Raleigh, Aria North Hills Apartment was the only place I could think of. But the only person who made it possible was Linda Moore. She drove me around a little bit, showing one unit plus what this community can offer, I couldnt resist anymore! Quiet community apartments are not fulfilling. Pest control came out and sprayed still had problems. The maintenance never came out to resurface my tub. Horrible maintenance. Plus no washer/dryer hook ups and laundry rooms are not clean.

I moved to the Raleigh area due to a new job amidst the COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The leasing agent, Linda Moore, was very helpful to me in providing information about the available units, following up on phone calls and emails, and being flexible when it came time for me to view an apartment on site prior to signing a lease, and a phone call to confirm move in the night before. Each interaction I have with Linda makes me glad I picked Aria North Hills as she is always a delight to talk to, has helpful information, and always asks about my two dogs and how they are doing. And if Linda is unavailable, Daisy is also as helpful and informative regarding items occurring around the premises.

This is montavius baker, Victor Garcia stopped what he was doing to come and fix all four of the problems that I was having in the apartment. He provided me with a new toilet, stove, and finally gave me hot water and allowing me to live comfortable in my home. My experience have been great for five years until new Management took over..The manager is extremely rude and talk to tenants in a very disrespectful way..When you go into the leasing office she will make herself unavailable to address important concerns..my child and I have to leave after all these years of living on the property..Its very hard to reach the corporate office to report concerns ..I never experienced this before and do not understand how people like that call themselves compassionate and can get away with being so inconsiderate....Management suppose to welcome people and give the company a good name...Im grateful for the happy years I did spend there...

The worst office and maintenance staff Ive dealt with living in Raleigh hands down. I was without A/C for months and generally couldnt get anybody to help me with any maintenance issues unless I called daily until they were solved. My unit was gross, the laundry facilities are gross, etc etc etc.

The area is really nice..and the neighborhood is quite. That much I do love and appreciate... BUT WITH ANYWHERE YOU GO ITS STUPIDITY. THE TRASH PICK UP SERVICE INCLUDED IN RENT IS BULL. Ive Expressed my dissatisfaction with the services several times only for them to write in a book, and brush it under a rug like its nothing. I pay for a service Im not receiving. And its more off a hassle THEN a convenience. Trash pick up starts at 9 so they say. Come home 2 and 3 in the afternoon trash is still cooking and bugs are storming my front door!!. This pisses me off because something so simple is becoming a huge problem. IVE tired to be nice and respectful but enough IS enough. I pay too much for such a stupid problem.

I have very mixed reviews with Aria North Hills. I love the location and love how quiet the community is. So far, everyone I have spoken to has been kind. However, there a lot of issues with the buildings. About a week after I moved in, something in my neighbors apartment caused a flood in both their and my apartment. This happened on a Friday. By Saturday, Aria had sent somebody out to vacuum the standing water from my neighbor’s unit. I did not get anyone to visit my apartment until I had to submit 2 work order requests and all that was done for my unit was an industrial fan. Now, my carpet is discolored and has buckled due to the amount of water being stuck in my apartment from sometime Friday to Wednesday (5 days). I do not have a renovated unit which I do not mind but they have placed “newer” and cheap installations to cover the older installations. Like the cabinets. They doors seem nice enough but when you open them, they are very old and have a very particular smell. A lot of my light switches do nothing. A major issue is the how thin the walls are. I can hear everything my neighbor says (does not help that he is always yelling at all hours of the night. It is so disruptive. I attempted to contact the office regarding a noise complaint but they never responded. Another issue is the office is never open! My packages get sent to their office but I work 9am to 6pm while the office is only open 9-5. I’ve tried to go in 15 minutes early on my way to work and got scolded. There is no package notification system either which is very difficult when family members are sending gifts and you cannot see the tracking information. I also pay for trash valet and have tried on multiple attempts following their instructions (trash bag tied securely inside a container) and have never had my trash picked up so I do not understand why I’m being charged for it. Finally, I have yet to receive any of these “Dasmen Points” they keep advertising. I always pay my full amount online and still nothing. I emailed them today but we will see if I get a response. I was excited about this property moving in but the cons out way the pros.

They have many issues to resolve,let us exercise some patience, because and as we all know...Rome wasnt built in a day. I have been here 7 years and seen a lot. I’ve been here for about 3 months, the area is nice, quite, the apartment itself is decent for the price. When I moved in I needed immediate maintenance because the move in process was a bit rushed, I put in requests through the app and didn’t receive service until after about 2-3 weeks of moving in and the only reason they came was because I called the leasing office to tell them no one had come yet. They “fixed” the issues however there are still the same issues plus more which I’ve put in additional maintenance requests for and they still have not been fixed and it’s been a few weeks! There also isn’t assigned parking unless you pay an additional fee for premium parking which I’ve had to add recently because I was towed for “invalid parking”; there is a number to call if someone is in your parking space however the tow truck company workers are very rude and will not send anyone out upon request which has now become a waste of my money!

DAISY is the most helpful person in the complex. Over maintenance and the rest of management. Period. Everyone else can’t be bothered and some are likely to be telling tenants to leave nice reviewes up here so that they can get extra help or extra DASMEN points. But Daisy would never. She helped SO much in the beginning. She clearly understands while she may not be able to fix things herself, she does an excellent job at following up and making sure you’re comfortable. Maintenance does not know how to ask for help from management and are quite negligent. If you don’t know how to do something, just let them know so that they can do what they need to do. But acting like you’re fixing something when you didn’t is childish. Like, if you come up someone’s steps and can tell they are breaking, don’t wait until someone falls through them, just get them fixed instead of ignoring the issue.

Beware of this place they are on a hard mission to gentrify along with other apartment complexes in the area. Rent is being increased by 200+ dollars for unrenovated spaces even though the foundation is cracking and cockroaches run rampant. Communication from the office is absolutely terrible and any lack of response on your part will be your fault entirely, such as being towed for a parking permit. There are no first chances here. Surely if you pay the new rates youll be treated differently.

I lived in this complex for a year. I witnessed neighbors selling and smoking weed and the leasing office does absolutely nothing about it. Trying to reach anyone in Dasmen Residential corporate about the issue is an absolute joke. As long as you pay your rent you can do whatever you like here. Work orders are put to the side because maintenance is asked to focus on move ins versus making sure current residents are fine. Please don’t have a after hours emergency. Maintenance doesn’t answer or return calls. Sometimes the office answers the phone and other times they don’t. They are short staff for sure. We haven’t had a consistent Property Manager since May. I wouldn’t recommend Aria North Hills even if they had a special 3 months of free rent. Can’t wait to leave soon.

Good Location, quiet community...HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT and maintenance. Ive lived here 8 months and put in a maintenance request for my stove in August. After 4 months, they finally determined I needed a new stove. It is now April, another 4 months, and I have yet to receive a new stove. Ive emailed the manager about the issue multiple times yet all they say is Were short staffed and well get to you soon. When I moved into this complex, the first thing my neighbors told me was how bad maintenance was and how I have to stay on top of them to get anything done. Not a good reputation to have Aria North Hills!!!

One star on a good day. Management is honestly awful. They never want to help you. They never even try to figure out how to help you. They try to stiff arm you away to stop bothering them with questions. If you want to have any idea of a timeline for something in they community, they don’t know. If you need the manager, they’re on vacation and the rest of the staff doesn’t know when they’ll be back.They’re customer service is severely lacking to the point of complete frustration to be frank. Literally any other place would be better.

I have lived here for 14 months and, I will Be moving Out in Less than a week and I Can honestly say I am So EXCITED to Move. Since the new management has taken over I have experienced nothing but dissatisfaction so much so that I decided not to renew my lease. Yes, The office staff is friendly but thats IF you catch them when the leasing office doors are not locked, because they have locked the doors up to an hour early some days. DASMEN POINTS ARE A JOKE According to Arias policy you are supposed to receive points every time you pay your rent on time I have not received anything what so ever. The Valet Trash service that raised my original rent is a NON EXISTANT I sit my trash outside and nobody ever comes to pick it up, what am I even paying for. I would not recommend anybody to move here, save yourself the headache.

Went to look at an apartment here about a week ago, Linda was the women who assisted me. To show us the apartments we went in the complex car with no doors and she makes very dangerous turns. She askes alot of personal questions that make you not even want to move into the complex. She came off as VERY nosey to me. Got accepted into the complex, but will not be moving in.

Dasmen seems to be an amazing company. I love the changes and renovations they are putting into this property. Shelena the property manager is always on top of things and genuinely cares about her residents and community! I always recommend people.

Poor management. Old poorly constructed apartments, except near the entrance which has been renovated to make the place appear to be decent. Advertises nice pools that it doesn’t have available to residents due to them not being upkept.

Really disappointed in this apartment complex. This pool was supposed to be open a month ago. Two bedroom apartments used to be about $600 a month. New management has taken over and doubled the rent. I understand that things take time to make beautiful again, but it’s hot as Hades outside and there is no where to escape the heat here unless you travel to the beach, someone else’s pool, ect. Being able to have access to a clean, well maintained pool is billed with rent. WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO GET ON THE BALL Aria North Hills Apartment Homes?!? Shame on you.

When we moved in, the apartment wasn’t properly cleaned. Everything breaks down almost every week, but it takes maintenance 2 weeks to come and fix the problem. The outside isn’t kept up the way it should be. The gym ac has been out for weeks and they claimed they closed the gym until it’s fixed, but we got no notice. I called about the gym while working out and they came in and made us leave. Moving out once the year lease is up.
