Dr. Kim was great. I came in for the new patient special. I was blown away by how in detail the exam is. Appreciated the oral cancer screening as well and the information related to grinding my teeth. Would definitely recommend to anyone in Northeast PDX.

My whole family has been going to this practice for many years now. I actually look forward to my visits there. The location is perfect (we can all walk up there from our home) and I love the team there. Stacy at the front desk always has a smile and is very helpful. Dr. Demasi is the best dentist Ive ever had. She is warm and welcoming, clearly loves what she does, explains treatment clearly, and is interested in all of me- not just my teeth.

I have gone to this dental practice since I was a teenager until I moved out of state last year, and it has been a struggle to find a practice that is so kind and caring. Dr. Saber is the best dentist around! I have very sensitive teeth, and he is gentle and takes your every concern into consideration. If you live in Portland, this is the dental office for you. Don’t even think twice.

My first appointment since the pandemic restrictions, and a year and a half since my last teeth cleaning was incredibly stress-free and Im someone who really fears going to the dentist. Everyone here is thoughtful, explains as much (or as little) as you want to know, and has cleanliness and protocols in place to keep everyone safe. I cant recommend them highly enough if youre looking for a dentist and group!

I went to Dr. Sabre after finding some positive reviews of the veneer work at Healthy Smiles. Overall, it was about 2 years before I had them actually done and from the beginning everyone I interacted with was so kind and helpful. My new veneers are now complete and I couldnt be happier. The day I came home with them my partner called and booked a consultation! Everyone there is nice, responsive, and very good about checking if you have questions and explaining what will happen. So helpful, especially of you have anxiety about the dentist. I definitely recommend Dr. Sabre, and this office, to anyone!

Healthy Smiles staff is always friendly and quite knowledgeable. The equipment is well kept. They do a wonderful job explaining things and addressing any concerns that I have. Ive lived in 4 states and been a patient at 7 different dental practices. My experiences here are as comfortable and comprehensive as Ive had. Dr. Kim is very gentle and always makes me feel at ease. The most gentle and knowledgeable practice I have ever experienced. After consulting with them, I realized how many prior dentists had upsold me on things I didn’t need. From the ease to setting an appointment to making me feel comfortable and educating me about what work I needed done and why during my appointment to the welcome card I received in the mail, my experience was awesome. Dr. Kim and the staff at Healthy Smiles are compassionate, understanding, and professional beings. No one actively enjoys going to the dentist, but they make it as great of an experience as it possibly can be. Dr. Kim made it very clear that she wants her patients to know everything that is going on and gives her patients all of the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. I never felt rushed, pressured, and was encouraged to ask as many questions as I wanted. This office seems to really care for their patients and want them to feel as comfortable as possible. I was even offered a blanket :) Definitely a 5-star office!

ReviewAbsolutely will never go to another dentist office again if I have any choice in the matter. I had been experiencing a lot of pain through my cheek and jaw swelling up in the summer and would always go into urgent care and they would just sum it up as a saliva gland infection and send me off with antibiotics....Well, swollen once again and in pain and desperate for some answers I called healthy smiles and they got me in quickly with Dr Saber who looked at my salvia glands (which were healthy and functioning like they should and not at all infected) and took full X-ray of my jaw, turns out the infection was from impacted wisdom teeth and the infection was spreading throughout my jaw and cheek. He gave me some strong cleaner stuff to try and clean out the wisdom teeth while I had them in, got me a referral to a surgeon, I got my wisdom teeth removed and have had no problems since then. Moral of the story of this though was that Dr Saber and his staff all really make you feel like they care. I have been there a handful of times now and before I use to get so much anxiety going to the dentist but now I don’t even worry, or even stress about any work I need done now that I go to them because I just trust them and them with my teeth so much. All the staff is so kind and gentle and all of them answer all my questions and give me great tips on dental care that I had never heard from previous offices. I recommend them times a million, absolutely thankful for them.

I came to Healthy Smiles Dental Group as a new patient today. The entire staff there are really wonderful. My hygenist Imelda was very nice and was gentle yet thorough. Dr. DeMasi explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and releived some of my anxieties. I plan on being a patient at Healthy Smiles Dental Group and getting my regular cleanings there for a long while.

Wow! Dr DeMasi was extremely helpful, kind & took her time to explain all my questions. I moved here recently & she came highly recommended. I have a hack job (expensive too) of a crown from my previous dentist. She was so awesome. She called my previous dentist in Kalamazoo & encouraged him to refund the money. Can you believe that? Now I can afford to actually get it fixed. I have never heard of any dentist caring so much that they go to bat for you. What a way to instill confidence in service & make a change for humanity.(I should probably note that my previous dentist had given a guarantee on the crown. I had brought the defect up in person. He did a quick hack job filing the spot & sent me on my way. He wasn’t about to make good on his guarantee out of the goodness of his heart.)

My experience with the folks in this office is always stellar and my visit in the time of covid-19 was no different. My partner and I called to discuss their new protocol and they were patient and kind in explaining and helping us get scheduled together to minimize our exposure. They are clear with me in explaining how to address dentals issues before they become problems and do a great job checking in with and listening to me during my cleanings.

These are such great dentists! I started seeing Dr. Saber when I lived in the neighborhood. After moving 40 minutes away and seeing a new dentist, I quickly switched back - it is worth the drive! I recently got insurance as an 18 year old and this was my first time choosing a dentist of my own. Everyone was very nice and helpful, from the first phone call to going into the office. The office is very clean and pleasent looking. The doctors were really nice and talked me through any concerns I had, with my health and my insurance. Definitely making more visits with them.

Love my new dentist. Having just moved to Portland, it is always a pain starting over finding new care. I read the reviews on google and decided to give it a go. Her staff is knowledgeable and showed me how to change my brushing technique. I also felt like they werent fishing around for something to sell me like some dentists Ive been to in the past. Absolutely amazing...hands down the most gentle, patient dentist, and office staff did their best to make sure I was comfortable. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FEELS LIKE!!!!I was offered a warm blanket but settled for a nice ice pack. They even offered sound canceling head phones and music to drown out the sounds of drilling!!!If you are tired of dentist and staff treating you like a pay check (which has been my experience as of the last couple of years), I would advise you to go to this establishment. I was a walk in patient, and never been their before, but the staff and dentist treated me like Id been coming to them for years. Such a nice change of pace to what (sadly) the health care industry has become. They worked with me to make sure I got treated at that moment. A nice change from heres some painkillers, we will fit you in next week/several weeks to do any actual work (maybe other the places Ive been too before do this to make more money from insurance plans for doubling up appointments?)!I AM SOOO PROUD OF Healthy Smiles Dental, this is absolutely the best place Ive been too since a child for dentistry work. You wont be sorry. I didnt even walk away with tears on my mouth, lips, or gums!

Dr. Gena Vinksy is amazing. I am a person who will avoid the dentist till I really need to go. I had a few questions and Dr Vinsky was very professional and considered of my well being. She made me extra comfortable and explained everything to me. Her assistant Lisa W was amazing too. Had me open my mouth once the X-ray picture where taken so I felt comfortable. This was my first time to this office. I was the best experience I had at any dentist office.

Our whole family goes to healthy smiles. Drs DeMasi and Saber are very personable and never push services we dont need. (I had trouble with green apple dental doing this). I have two boys ages 5 & 7 and all the staff are sweet and patient with them. My husband had to have quite a bit of work done and they helped make a schedule so we could pace it with our yearly insurance. I highly recommend them!
