I dont usually give reviews, but this one was worth it! After chipping a tooth at night, I was able to get in the next day - even as a new patient. They moved my appointment up, took care of me right away, and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would 100% recommend Bridgetown Dental to anyone looking for a dentist. I get a little nervous at the dentist and they were totally patient and kind.

I came to him with a huge phobia for dentists. He worked with me thru a lot of dental issues that I was having. He is patient and he genuinely cares for your well-being. Now I cant wait to take my kids to get seen by him. 100% recommend!!

I absolutely love my visits to bridgetown dental. I’ve visited many dentist offices and after I came across this one, I stopped looking. The receptionist, Oksana Winters is so welcoming. Not only does she do her job phenomenally, but she always takes the time to talk to me and see how I am doing. Doctor Kaady and all the staff are outstanding as well. They are so careful with their work, I have never came across ANY issues. I highly recommend you to come visit this dentistry, you will love the atmosphere. If I could rate it more stars I would!!

I visited Bridgetown dental recently to get evaluated as well as a cleaning. He diagnosed one of my teeth as needing a crown, said I had 3 other cavities and also told me I have sleep apnea. I proceeded to get the opinion of 2 other dentists, who both said a crown was unnecessary and that I had plenty of healthy tooth remaining to just do an onlay, plus they only saw 1 other cavity not 3. Also got a sketchy vibe since all the hygienists and staff are white women; the way he talked to them and myself was slightly domineering and rude. Really seemed like he was trying to sell me way more than I needed. The sleep apnea stuff sounded like a load of BS, wouldn’t trust this dentist to fix my anxiety, depression and crooked teeth with his highly expensive treatment. Overall surprisingly opposite of the awesome down to earth culture that St. John’s has to offer. Glad I didn’t go with this guy!

Although he does great work, I dont think I can return to Bridgetown. The first few visits, I was struck by the lack of bedside manner and less-than-personable greeting. Ive been fortunate to grow up with a great hometown dentist, and Im accustomed to being talked to like a human being and asked how my day is, etc. While the staff is totally friendly, Dr. Kaady treats you like youre a slab of meat and talks over you like youre not even there. I was willing to look beyond this, and a few other weird things (the flippancy with which which he treated COVID in the office, which is quite small and where he usually treats about 3 patients at a time without their masks on, his arrogance and rudeness to other staff, to name a few) until he began making political comments about the destruction in downtown Portland, as well as a few other jokes in ill-taste while I was in the chair with a mouth full of gauze. Just fyi, its extremely unprofessional to make such comments around a patient. No, I dont think I will be returning to Bridgetown.

I came here years ago after reading some of the positive reviews. Id always had relatively good experiences at the dentist and only had a couple cavities over the years. The staff are sweet and Dr. Kaady was nice enough but pressured me into having 4 of my teeth filled, not all of which ended up having cavities. He then wanted to proceed with doing the same thing with 12 of my other teeth just because they had odd coloring. But couldnt tell me for sure if any of them had cavities. I had never heard any of this from my previous dentists, so I wanted to get a second opinion. I went to another dentist who told me my teeth looked just fine and they couldnt spot any cavities. Now, years later, I need a root canal done on one of the teeth previously filled. I cant attribute it to the work done here, but Ive had pain sensitivity in those teeth ever since I had them filled.

The staff is all very friendly and helpful, but they will try to oversell you on unnecessary treatments. I’ve never had a cavity prior to going here, and within my first two visits, they “found” two cavities. I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion and they said I had zero signs of cavities and that my teeth are very healthy. A good office otherwise, but don’t let them swindle you.

Bridgetown dental is the best place I have been to. I have had lots of dental work done over the years but I never realized how big of a difference a great dentist can make. They are always quick to help me with any issues and answer any questions. Also they always take the best care to make sure I am comfortable from start to finish I can’t recommend Dr. Kaady and his team enough to anyone who needs any kind of dental work.

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Kaady, Oxsana and the rest of the staff at Bridgetown dental. I came here after a friend recommended Dr. Kaady. I hadn’t had regular dental care for well over a decade and was incredibly apprehensive and nervous about going back in. I have felt incredibly supported, even during the first few weeks of the pandemic, when Oxsana made sure I got the medication I needed without missing a beat, working from home to coordinate everything, and never once have I felt shamed or been made to feel poorly about my dental health. Finding Dr. Kaady and Bridgetown dental has changed my life for the better. I feel like I have a handle on my oral health for the first time in my adult life and my fear of the dentist has totally disappeared with all the care I have received from everyone at Bridgetown.

Friendly staff, welcoming environment. We have at times received confusing information about rates and costs for services and a lack of clarity around what is covered by our dental insurance which has made making informed decisions challenging. Recently, after a dental procedure I experienced a persistent headache and when I asked was assured that it was not related to the dental procedure. However, after consulting a physical therapist, it was likely brought on by the dental procedure and once identified it was easily treated.

Ok, this place just flat out rocks. Like most people, I tend to neglect certain aspects of my life and dental care being one of them. So when I finally went to the dentist they were understanding, caring and did a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and fixing a split tooth Id been suffering from for a while. Then once again I neglected my dental care and returned after a year of being away. Again, they just took it in stride, were understanding and were pleased that I had taken care of my teeth. Other than a cleaning I was getting a clean bill of health. So professional, clean, understanding, welcoming... these are just a few of the words Id use to describe Bridgetown Dental. They go out of their way to work with you and give you all the info you need regarding whats covered by insurance and how to best manage any issues you have. A well earned five star review.

Really lovely change from my last dental office! Front desk lady was sweet & answered all of my billing questions! The RDH that cleaned my teeth was really attentive! This is the cleanest my teeth have ever felt! The dentist showed me my X-rays & explained what needed attention thoroughly! This office has such amazing quality & care! THE SINGLE BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. TWICE. Edit: THREE TIMES.Ive had considerable work done here on three occasions now and have already told several people about my experience before writing this review.Im already planning visits three and four in order to get my teeth taken care of once and for all... Which is and should be the point when going to a dentist!!Finally a Doc who gets it, dentistry work sucks when youre the patient. I told the Doc briefly before the anesthetic that I usually have a hard time with needles.He went right into talking with me while performing the actual aesthetic procedure that he has received extra training just for this critical part which really helped put me at ease.On my dogs lives I felt the tiniest pinch ever and before I know it he was in there getting things done.Seriously no pain!!He checked in with me several times and we even stopped twice when I signaled that I could feel what he was doing so he could use more anesthetic. These people really are concerned with your comfort!Toot sweet and Im getting up out of the chair to go home. The Doc is seriously that amazing!!Dont hesitate! Stop putting it off! Was really impressed with the professionalism demonstrated. Everyone in the office was friendly and did a great job explaining everything. In spite of the usual jitters of attending a new dentist, I very quickly felt comfortable and recognized that I had put myself in good hands. Appointments were easy to schedule and good progress has been made following years of putting off dental care, in spite of knowing better. Im surprised there arent a lot more evaluations for Dr. Kaady, but the ones that have been written were proven right!

Fantastic dental office. In fact, Ill go out on a limb and say this is the best dental office I have ever been to, even from my childhood dentist. The office is nice, homey, decorate well. The office manager, dental assistant, and hygienist were all super nice with great personalities, but the dentist, Dr. Kaady was just unbelievable. Very nice and sincere. Knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He has state of the art and brand new equipment and is really a top notch facility with which seems to me, very reasonable prices. Setting up my appointments was very easy and the staff was super friendly. The cleaning was thorough, and the staff had excellent bedside manner which is extremely important to me since I have had a long time fear of the dentist.I made them well aware of my anxiety and I felt extra cared for because of it.The filling also went very well and they were again careful to explain everything and use extra care with me, we even had a few laughs which put me at ease. Though I had some pain after the procedure, I did call them to see if there was any cause for concern. They called to check in thereafter, which I thought was very nice! The office was very clean and well staffed and it seemed like they used top of the line technology in their process which helped make me feel like I was getting the best available service. When I usually walk out of the dentist, I dread my next visit, but not this time. I almost look forward to coming back.

First of all, I HATE going to the dentist. Until this last 12 months, I never had a cavity and I still hated it. After my last experience with a previous dentist, I knew I needed to find someone new. They helped me through my last issue with compassion and the best care I have ever received from a medical office in my life. (Im in the medical field). Each person in this office from the front office staff to the billing staff and every dentist there has your satisfaction as their utmost priority! It shows! They have done everything to keep me comfortable at my visits from a warm neck pillow to making sure my lips are moist during treatment so they dont crack, to music/TV to help ease my nerves. I love it here.

I had cracked a tooth and needed to be seen ASAP. They fit me in that day! Everything went great and i was told what was going on every step of the way. Dr. Kaady even called me after hours from his cell phone and instructed me if i need anything, anything at all, to not hesitate and contact him 24/7.Ill be back in another 2 weeks for another follow up and cleaning. The office is small and procedures affordable since my insurance did not cover the full amount. The staff cares about you and every aspect of your visit.

I generally have fun with the staff here. I mean, its a dentist office so fun is relative, but Ive never had an unpleasent visit.

Being new to Portland I was in need of a dentist. I asked family members who they used and then looked on Google and Yelp to find out if customers liked Dr. Kaady. He is an excellent dentist, did a very thorough exam and pinpointed out areas of concern. He explained everything as he was going along. I won trivia night by naming the best dental office in Portland, it’s Bridgetown Dental. I’ve been a patient for about three years, and go regularly every 6-7 months. My first visit required some deep cleaning as I hadn’t been to the dentist in several years. After that appointment, I’ve just gone for checkups, no fillings or cavities whatsoever. I have parts of my teeth that are sensitive; Dr Kaady is gentle and always checks on me to make sure I’m comfortable. On top of getting great treatment, I’ve never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes for my appointment, I love that. Nothing is worse than waiting a half hour or more to see a doctor or a dentist. The staff is great too, especially Oksana. She’s always smiling, and has a great upbeat attitude that’s contagious to everyone around her, she’s the best! Overall, it’s the best treatment you’ll get both personally and professionally,Bridgetown Dental Rocks!

I rarely leave online feedback for places BUT..This is an Exceptional Dentist office: Professional, Honest, and top-notch quality, for a just price.I feel lucky to have this dentist office down the street from my house. Its been years since Id set foot in a dentist office, needless to say I was anxious and had a feeling that the results of my exam were not going to be pleasant.Inevitably, Dr. Kaady found a number of teeth that were in need of attention. Where your typical run of the mill dentist would have gleemed while tallying the cost of what needed to be addressed, Dr. Kaady explained what he would do if he were in my position. Long story short, I was impressed by his empathy and by what he proposed as a plan of action.The extraordinary level of professionalism and friendliness shown by Dr. Kaady is equally matched by his staff. The extent to which they were (happily) able and willing to accommodate me was also noteworthy. After having to reschedule my follow-up appointment a number of times due to baby-sitters falling through, the secretary at the front desk Aksana (spelling?) Offered to watch my (teething nine-month old) baby if necessary during my appointment. I ended up finding a baby sitter but the offer in itself was remarkable.Clearly, if it were possible, i would rate this higher than 5 🌟.

Stay away! Dr Kaady is a scam artist. I went in for a cleaning after 1.5 years since my last visit to a dentist. In that time I brushed, flossed, and mouth washed so I was shocked when Kaady casually told me I had 6 cavities, 4 of which he attributed to poor dental care as a child (I had exceptional dental care growing up). He also said I needed a mouth guard. Total, he wanted ~$2,500, $600 after my excellent dental insurance.I went to another dentist who is trusted by my family and friends, and after examining the same X-rays used by Kaady, she confirmed I did not have a SINGLE cavity. She also said that my teeth showed no signed of abnormal teeth grinding.The way Kaady carried himself and talked to me and his employees was inappropriate and indicative of his true intentions as a dentist: to make as much money as possible by any means, including frauding his patients.Additionally, the cleaning was awful; they use old technology that tastes really bad and the office did not appear to be hygienic. Additionally, when I called in to voice my concerns, I was mocked and essentially told to get lost.In summary, Bridgetown Dental is a low quality office through and through, and Dr Kaady is as dishonest as dentists come. Save yourself the time and money and find another dental office. Feel free to contact me to confirm my experience.

TLDR; Skip Dr. Kaady if anxiety is something you deal with... But if your tooth hurts more than your anxiety and you need a quick check up, then go for it. I have a dentist in my hometown but since this was an emergency, I needed to see someone in town immediately. My family and I have seen the same dentist my entire life and we have built a trusting relationship with each other.I was really hesitant to see a dentist in town but alas my tooth wouldnt let me. I chose to give Bridgetown Dental a call because of their stellar reviews on Yelp and other platforms. I spent days sifting through Yelp reviews and google reviews to find a dentist to cater to my anxiety. I did my research and even looked at their website. Under Dr. Kaadys Our People section, the first sentence about himself is as follows: Dr. Ziad Kaady is dedicated to making sure his patients are comfortable and in control of their own dental care. We both know that was a fluke...I have to say Im really disappointed in Dr. Kaady. While his staff is extremely patient and understanding Dr. Kaady lacks empathy for people dealing with anxiety and I also got an extremely condescending vibe from him because I was uncomfortable and told him I was an anxious person. I felt really really rushed. I understand he has a lot of patients to see, but my anxiety is something thats a huge deal for me and Im really disappointed I wasnt able to feel comfortable and well taken care of there. The hygienist that did my x rays and initial check in was really friendly and Id probably give a go at getting my teeth cleaned with her...I paid almost $100 out of pocket to see him as I do not have insurance. Its not a bad deal for an emergency check up at all, but considering the level of service I got, Ill probably go somewhere else next time. Still not really sure whats going on as he rushed me out. But at least Ive gotten a referral to see an endodontist...Giving two stars because 1) his staff was able to get me in quickly for an emergency appointment and 2) his staff was so super friendlyEdit: lowered it to 1 star because his staff had to nerve to contact me afterwards pretending to “check up on me”, resulting in them demanding I change my review. Y’all should have thought about that when you were giving me care.
