I got my nails done by Selena, the manager of the nail lounge. She was attentive, careful, and friendly. The service here never fails!! Love this place

First time at this establishment. Nail tech took over 2 hours to perform the service. She didn’t know how to properly lay acrylic (discoloring of my ombré pink and whites due to her technique- very wet application, wet brush). Acrylic was so thin that they bended, which means they won’t last very long. Nail tech was trying to do it right but she just missed the mark. Terrible customer service when I asked for my service to be discounted as I was not satisfied paying $75 for the service I got. Was threatened to have police called on me if I didn’t pay full price. I ended up getting a discount after insisting for 10 minutes and was told to never come back. Believe me, I won’t!

Excellent experience. Beautiful space and welcoming staff. Denise made my nails look amazing. She was friendly, detail-oriented, creative and dedicated to giving me superior service. I went with my sister and it was fun to have a glass of wine included with the signature pedicure! We will be back for sure!

I love Sam! She is so easy to communicate with and she always goes above and beyond to make my nails POP! My nails always last a very long time and they have never been as long and as healthy as they have been since working with Sam. The rest of the staff is incredibly friendly as well and everything is always very clean. Very relaxing atmosphere and full service nail spa!

From reviews I saw, this was a great professional nail salon but I was very disappointed in the quality of work they provided. My manicurist seemed in a bad mood and took it out on my nails. I had them remove my acrylics and they were anything but careful and gentle with my nails. One of mine are down to nubs because it was ripped off. One of my cuticles began bleeding. It’s only been a couple days and my polish is already beginning to chip. I am never going back.

Very easy and convenient location. Clean and updated chairs. 97% of the staff is personable and happy to be there. They have long hours and have strangers feet and hands in their face all day, how can anyone stay personable under that?. In general, They all all very sweet. There is one that will speak politics and personal therories, not the best topic while getting nails done.I would give 5 stars if it were not, 8/10 times the price is ALWAYS $5 more than on menu. Quick to respond you are always left w paying the extra. Or prices have varied By person per service.Call ahead is best. If busy you could be waiting much longer than they say.

I went for my birthday. I called first to see if I needed an appointment. At that time it was not crowded so she told me to come. Theres parking in the back and meters in the front. The first thing I notice was all the hand stations and feet spa chairs. The place is spacious and bright. I really like the atmosphere. The wait was not long. It gave me a chance to go through the large selection of colors to choose from and the menu of what service I wanted. The price is definitely higher then most nail places. But this was a treat and it ended up being worth it. My nail tech was Tran. She was very attentive to my pedicure and manicure. I really like all the stuff that was done to my hands and feet. Love the neck and back massage too. I cant remember the name of the service I received. My manicure cost $35 plus 15 for gel nail polish and pedicure was $46 both came with parrifin wax. I was happy to see her use disposable bags with wax inside for my hands and feet. Tran even allow my friend to sit next to me and use the massage chair while she was doing my pedicure. I was glad to see a couple of men there getting their feet done. Which made my friend open to coming back with me and getting a pedicure. The overall experience was wonderful.

Staff is really nice, the location and parking is good (5/5) but they’re rather disorganized. I had made an appointment and still has to wait over 25 minutes to get service.The pedicure itself was like a 4 out of 5.It took about 15 minutes only and the caucus removal process was just minimalistic.For a pedicure, I would expect more energy being spent on it but it was worked for about 2 minutes.The nail polish part was flawless, as well as cleanliness.

My nail artist Gigi is the best. She’s my favorite. She does great work and she’s also quick.

If you want a quick pedi 💅 with amazing attention to detail then DO NOT go here. It was paint by numbers and my toes were the board. We were told around a 10 minute wait time for a walk-in. They were busy but my friend and I thought we would wait if they were saying ‘10 minutes’. Well 30 minutes later a lady started doing my classic pedi. Everything about it was hurried she was even going to leave some old nail polish on my toe but I asked her take it off (obviously). My friend was waiting in the chair next to me and her water went cold (1hr later) while she waited for me to be finished. Our cuticles are still gnarly and our heels look like the Grand Canyon floor. My friend was up-sold the prior time on a gel pedi and they charged her an extra $5 to take the polish off!!!! I, at least, got to enjoy the massage chair for 1 hr and 45 min by the time it was all said and done. There is one amazing tech there but she only works a handful of days— do not waste your time or money. It’s herding cattle

This is my fifth year of coming here but I’m thinking of changing to a different salon. I have an appointment at 6, and now I’ve waited at least 30 minutes to be seated with a technician. this is not the first time for something like this to happen

I have been patronizing this establishment for several years.I’m very generous with gratuity and have referred many friends.Lately, I have noticed Tran has not been very focused and speaking with other workers in her native language for extended periods of time while I’m present.Attempted to schedule appointment and she has not been very accommodating.This let’s me know that it is time to find another manicurist/ technician.Good Luck Tran

Sarah did a wonderful job. Very meticulous. My only issue was that the pricing wasnt explained at all.

Very poor quality of service from Technician that was doing my pedicure. She used pure acetone remover to remove old polish. This caused my skin to dry out significantly. Technician was so busy talking with her co-worker while working on my feet, she did not pay attention how dry my toes became. The Technician continue talking and completed my pedicure leaving my toes looking hard and crusted (they didnt look like that before I came into shop). Also, my niece was getting exact same service next to me and her technician applied moisturized cream or oil across her toes. But this is the catcher.....THE SAME TECHNICIAN THAT DID MY PEDICURE TOTAL OUT MY PURCHASE - AT THE REGISTERED SHE LOOKED AT MY FEET TURNED HER HEAD BACK AND FORTH SAID UMMMMM.....THEN PROCEED TO COMPLETE MY PURCHASE. Never once acknowledge her poor job!!! I was so disgruntled.....VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER I AM. And I use to like this place.

I have never complained on a review before in my life! Yesterday,I waited for a while, which is expected on an evening in a salon. However, they took someone back for a pedi before me that arrived after me. She did not have an appointment. I then said something and she instantly took me back to a chair... weird that I had to say something. I then waited another 20 minutes at the pedi chair. My total wait was almost an hour and MY DELUXE PEDI ONLY LASTED FOR 15 MINUTES!!! Ive never received a pedi so rushed before. I was not happy. He didnt even push my cuticles back! I got gel because it will last longer. And then today, I look down and one of my toes is missing polish. It had peeled off!! Not happy at all!! I rarely treat myself and wanted to give this place a try and it failed! $70 dollars down the drain!

I got a mani and pedi done, I had a specific idea of what i wanted and she nailed it!! Her name is Julie she is super sweet and did it in such a timely manner yet wasnt rushing or reflect the quality of my manicure! Definitely am going back to see her!

Best DIP manicure Ive ever had. My nails looked absolutely perfect. First one chipped off today after over 3 weeks of wear (and I am not gentle). The atmosphere is really great as well.

I have come to this place for almost a year with no isssues. My normal day is Sunday because of my work schedule. I have had at least 4 different ppl do my nails and usually no prob. Well this last time I received the worst job ever on my nails. Iwas hesitant to post but its been 5 days and my gel overlay is lifting. I can usually go 3 weeks easy! I think my nail tech that day was being very lazy....I will give them 1 more shot to get it right.

This was my 3rd time the 1st 2 times were okay. However today I called and made an appt with MiMi. OMG shes the best. I let her pick the color for my mani and pedi. I was at her mercy and she did an amazing job. She was very detailed. She took her time and was gentle and attentive. She even did a design on my index finger as well as gave me chrome tips. She told me she was going to give me HOLIDAY nails .... lol so funny but true. When she was done she told me I shouldnt need to come back until before the new year. Might I add she used powder polish and still pulled off a design plus ombre and chrome tips! Phenomenal although Im not fond of red polish AT ALL but when she was done I was very very pleased based on the fact that the ombre and the chrome tops completely gave the nails a different look. Ive gushed about the service and havent shared how nice the nail salon is. It sits on the corner of clayton and seminary and its open windows and the pedicure chairs face outward toward the windows. Its tons of pedicure stations as well as nail stations the 3 times I went I didnt have to wait to be serviced. The 2nd time was the day before Thanksgiving and I got right in and out. Its also very clean. And they have a lot of polish options no matter if you want gel, powder or regular polish. If you go I recommend Irene or MiMi. Lastly everyone Ive encountered has been friendly. Kinda crazy that I live about 45 minutes away West of the Clayton area. Ive managed to carve out time to come here based on a friends referral. Its totally inconvenient but 100% worth it in my opinion. Its been difficult to find a good nail tech when my friend referred me I knew I had to at least give it a couple shots 3xs was the charm!

Went in for a facial today... facials are $55 and eyebrow wax is $10. I was charged $70. I don’t get why I was charged an extra $5. I’m only making a big deal about it because her steamer didn’t work, so I wasn’t even able to get the full treatment... so to be charged more than what I was supposed to and didn’t get to get the FULL service was weird to me. You just don’t treat returning and loyal clients like that. If I want to tip you (like I always do) I will, don’t just add the tip to my bill without me knowing.

Went w/ a friend who was going here for the 1st time to get a pedi & manicure, she wanted my company and objective opinion on the service and their work.I thought the work was of good quality and the service was of a high standard and honest. The pricing was fair and competitive in relation to the services provided.I would and have recommended the salon.

I came in yesterday with a friend. She had never had a full set or gel manicure before so she just let the guy put cracked acrylic nails on her then a mountain of powder then gel. Then our hands were BAKED under the light so bad that it browned both of our nails and fingers. All of my nails have bubbles in them and one of them just broke off. Do NOT GO HERE!

HIGHLY recommend this business! I came to St. Louis for work and needed a last minute Dip Manicure. They got me in the same day, even moved my appointment time to accommodate my schedule AND I had the best experience with my nail tech. Perfect results, reasonably priced, and a great conversation! Not to mention this location is absolutely gorgeous, very modern and high end aesthetic. Will be back again!

I came back again after my first time was a disappointment. I asked for a simple pedicure and unfortunately my nails were uneven when she finished. She filed my skin, more than my nails. She overfilled the tub and had to scoop water out. What made it absolutely terrible was that I left with one of my toes in pain after she picked at my cuticles the entire time. Would not recommend. Unfortunately I do not know the name of my technician because she did not have a name tag. I was supposed to get a gel pedicure too, but I was so upset I left after the pedicure.

As always...I left the salon pleased with my manicure and pedicure.Update...I am normally pleased and satisfied. This time not so much... apparently the tech was sure of what she was doing. She kept apologizing and her process for the dip manicure was non like Ive ever seen. I noticed a lot of new techs . Turnover apparent. Hope the get it fixed fast, cause Im not going to be able to deal. From 5 🌟 to 3 🌟.

Going here has been a nightmare. Ive gone back several times because its so close to my house but I cant justify going back. Each dip manicure has taken over 2 hours-this usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. The technicians have been rough and rude to me and my friends, and worst of all, this last time around, the tech sliced my fingers open with the file but continued even after I shrieked and pulled my hands back. Imagine several sharp paper cuts all over your fingertips-ouch! I wont be returning.

Excellent! I didnt ask my technicians name, but she was very gentle and gave a firm massage. I told her I had only been twice for a pedicure and she guided me thru. I had a deluxe pedicure and it was worth the $35, I tipped her $10. The salon was busy, Saturday at 6:30, so we were happy that we called ahead so we could sit together.

They do nice work and place is very clean and professional. Just need to learn some manners. Instead of tapping or pushing our hands, ask us to move them or to switch to the next hand. Also they are a bit high in pricing. Never should I have ever paid $19 extra for gel polish. My 1” nails came out to be $60 . I never paid over $21 for what I get. Also sometimes its best to not talk about customers just because you speak another language, you never know who might’ve learned your language & can understand you clearly 😉

I got the best gel manicure I’ve ever had here! The place is super clean and modern. The staff is friendly, welcoming, talented AND they are one of the few salons that are open on Sundays. They make the experience super relaxing with unique touches like using hand warmers on your hands during gel manicures. I truly felt pampered!!

I just had an amazing experience at this salon. Elegant, clean salon with amazing prices. A neck and shoulder message are included with the $30 mani. They also offer you something to drink, which is nice. Tran did my nails and she did an excellent job! So happy I gave this place a try.

I had a wonderful first experience here on a Sunday afternoon! Ive been trying to find an affordable, comfortable, high-quality nail salon for a few months now and this is it! My technician was so sweet and took her time making sure my gel manicure was smooth and flawless. They even offered me a hot tea or water while I got my nails done. I definitely found my new happy place to relax and get pampered!

If youre going for a pedicure, great! They do a nice job. But understand no circumstances get a wax done here. I just got my legs done. It was extra painful (not my first wax, and usually I have a pretty high tolerance for it) because she wouldnt press enough before pulling the strips off, the wax was painfully hot, etc. When I got home I found my legs were a patchy, sticky mess. The sides of both knees and the front of one are still covered in hair.To top it off, I was offered coffee when I sat down for the pedicure. It never showed up. I asked the technician at one point and she just brushed me off. No coffee is fine, but I wish they wouldnt offer something and then never bring it and never explain.

Great atmosphere and aesthetic. The manicurists were attentive and competent, and were not afraid to ask each other questions when they were unsure of something. Not everyone has perfect english, but thats ok! I got a beautiful dip manicure which I am still receiving compliments on three weeks later!

Irene was absolutely exceptional. Never once did she make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. My nails and toes look stunning, done sickly and over efficiently. I told her Ive never gone back to s mail salon twice because of poor service, attitudes, language barriers and worst of all terrible should at their profession... Moral is here, I will be going back to Irene got all my future nail needs. Thank you so much!

First time I came I got great service and a great manicure. Second time, I made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted as well as a manicure. I had to wait 30 minutes before my friend and I were sat down even though the place was only half full. They were clearly understaffed, as one lady was doing my friends and my nails. She was visibly rushing to do my nails and finished my gel manicure in about half the time it would normally take. Additionally the same lady did my eyebrows even though i made an appointment with the actual eyebrow technician. She did my eyebrows in about 5 minutes and did not tint them as I asked. Overall I am very disappointed in the service and treatment of my friend and I, especially considering the first time I came the service was great and that it is quite expensive.

I wanted to try a new nail salon that was closer to home. I made an appointment for 5:30pm, I arrived around 5:25 and was there for 15 minutes and not one single person greeted me, yet alone acknowledged me. I made eye contact with multiple employees, trying to say hi, or anything, and they’d just put their head down. I ended up calling my go-to place down the road, Clayton Nail Spa and, as always, they were pleasant and welcoming. I will forever drive the extra 10 minutes in traffic to go to Clayton Nail Spa. Pretty much satisfied with my nails every time. make sure to go when its not busy because i find that they do rush when theres a lot of people waiting. also, its annoying that people who dont have appointments still get served first because they are regulars. like they should wait too. other than that, pretty good!

Made an appointment and was told people who walked in just before my appointment time who were also waiting would be seen first. A friend and I drive an hour to meet up at this (joke) central location. I’m happy I have personal nail salon that takes care of their customers with and without appointments. It wouldn’t be as a big of a deal if while we were 4 other appointments hasn’t been scheduled for the same time and they were knowingly understaffed and didn’t properly set up appointments. We weren’t the only 11 am appointments that walked out at the same time. Poor planning and management on this joke of a nail salons.Very disappointing. Will never be back.

Had a great facial at Olivia and Oliver today. Very clean and new inside, great head, neck and arm massage while a mask did it’s job. Highly recommend! Great addition to the neighborhood.

Great place, got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. Charlie was my tech, there was a smudge and they fixed it right there. Nice, clean place, plenty of colors and high quality brands, OPI and Essie.

Usually I have a really good experience coming in. This past Friday was not. I dont make an appointment cuz I get seated pretty quickly. So i sat down told the girl what colors I wanted and she started. As soon as she finished filing my nails down she passed me off to a gentleman Ive never seen in there before because she had a pedicure coming in. Why bother starting if you had an appointment? Anyway I sit down with this guy and he told me to pick out my color. Again. I showed him what i wanted (2 different colors) he gave me a funny look. He didnt ask me what shape I wanted he just assumed i wad keeping them square. Then another girl came over and started chatting with him. So I think he got distracted. I ended up getting burned with the dremel a few times. When he was putting on the polish he kept laughing. When I put my hand in the light to cure he was looking thru the other side laughing. I just wasnt very satisfied with this visit, maybe I came in on the wrong day🤷‍♀️

Olivia and Oliver Nail Lounge is absolutely the best in St Louis. Staff is friendly, kind and professional. Clean and recently renovated. Results are always fantastic. Prices are great. I have been to several nail salons in the last few years and I wont go anywhere else. Also my hubby finally got a long overdue pedicure and they have an Oliver mens pedi where they served him a beer while he relaxed and he was in heaven. Definitely 5 star service!
