I booked an appointment for a haircut. Afterward, I received one text message to my phone and also two separate emails. All three of these communications confirmed my appointment for the date and time I scheduled. All three stated that the appointment was “confirmed“.Showed up 10 minutes early. Shop was locked with all lights out. Knocked. Waited. Checked for any missed calls or emails. There were none. Rechecked my confirmation messages to make sure I was there at the correct day and time. I was. Called the phone number listed on the website, which appeared to go to someone’s personal phone number. The owner’s? The gentleman whom answered the phone said they personally weren’t working that day and I would have to call/text the stylist’s phone, listed as Ramon, directly. Asked if Ramon’s phone number was on their website and was told no. Not sure how I was meant to contact him.Waited some more. 15 minutes after the appointment was due to begin, I received a text message stating that my appointment was rescheduled for the following day. Very disappointed. I would not have been upset if someone would have taken the time to call/text/email me to let me know that my appointment was cancelled so I wouldn’t have wasted the better part of an hour traveling here and waiting in front of a closed shop.

Been getting fades from Brenda for almost a year now. I come every 2 weeks and she does a great job. I’ve been to many different barber shops in the last 4 years since I moved to Portland and have finally found the right one. She is by far the best at giving fades. She is becoming more fluent in English everyday as well.

Highly recommended to anyone who wants a barber with substance! Its not easy finding a good barber nowadays and I just got lucky with Manuel! He does amazing work! Most barbers I have been to have not been able to capture the look I want. I appreciate the time detail and skill Manuel puts in nothing feels rushed! Besides that its a very clean professional atmosphere and they play great music while you wait! What else can I say this place is awesome.
