Great place to get your haircut friendly conversation and great price

Rob’s is by far the best barber shop in the Portland region. He pays attention to detail and gives great cuts. It is clear that Rob enjoys his profession and the people he serves.

Robs Barber Shop is hands down the best Barber around. Not only is he a upstanding business owner but Rob and his family are just all around good people. His shop is always clean and his cuts are hands down the best and the cheapest. For me, I’d personally pay more for a good cut but at Robs Barber Shop, You literally can’t ask for more from any barber shop.

With most of the old time barbers gone Rob apprenticed to one and now is one of the few trained as a barber around. He is a skilled barber capable of cutting most any style. He goes out of his way to get to know every customer and encourages conversation and interaction as appropriate(mostly). He has clear opinions but encourages dialog. All while providing an excellent cut. I recommend him highly.

Rob is a nice guy who always remembers your name. Good haircut, reasonably priced, and special rates for seniors. One chair, so don’t go in if it is crowded.

I walked in the barber shop for the first time today. I could tell right away that I was in the right place. Rob knew everybodys name that walked in the door which told me he had returning customers. Not only that but during the haircut he asked me what I wanted how I liked my hair and also started very nice conversation with me on something we could both relate on. I have been looking for a barber ever since my old one died. I had some pretty specific criteria that I was looking for. For those of you who grew up with an old school barbershop, you understand its more than a haircut, its the experience.Rob hit it out of the park. No bullshit haircuts. Check. Straight razor shaves, Check. Great conversation. Check.The best part of all? Rob, as near as I could tell, is around my age. (30s) Which means the guy isnt going to die of old age any time soon. I will be back, and have told all of my friends who are looking for a place like this.
