I received wonderful assistance from Charlie Vargas on the maintenance team for a ticket I submitted! He reviewed the problem, knew exactly what to do, explained why it was occurring and had me test once the work was completed to confirm I was happy with it! Great work!I am updating this as I want to give kudos to Albert Garcia for his amazing work ensuring our breezeway floors are sparklingly clean and the external walls and ceilings in this area were cleared of dirt and debris which helps prevent unwanted pests! He is very professional, friendly, and did a wonderful job!I have lived here 4 years and everything is constantly improving!

They put in much needed EXTRA assistance and they have patience to make sure the tenant is pleased in every way.My experience here is off the charts with customer service being noticed by the due diligence.I am soooo very pleased to have moved from St. Louis, Mo to Plano, TX and have such a welcoming place to now call home

Charley Vargas is so amazing !! He fixed my ac and removed the apartment washer and dryer and connected mine within seconds!!! He is very punctual and really cares .. He had so much joy when he knew I will be sleeping with ac back up and running and connecting my washer and dryer too which made me so happy and grateful to know how much he loves his job and care for making ones life comfortable!! Again thanks so much Charley!! God blessed I was so touched!!

These last two weeks have been super stressful trying to get a transfer to a bigger unit.... but Lillian the business manager has made this dream a reality. She went over and beyond with her customer service and was so sweet and completely understanding with everything. I am a first responder now in medic school and moving while in school is the worse thing to do but Lillian helped make life just a little easier and we appreciate great employees like her!

The apartment itself and the value for the square footage has been excellent. Good apartment complex for a family, lots of little ones running around but all well behaved. Front office can be difficult to get ahold of over phone or by email. Going to the office in person always yielded by best results

I was very interested in the apartment. I even expressed it through my emails that I want to proceed with the application process.They sent me the link/website to proceed with the application which caused me and my partner to pay up $75 each.The next day (evening time) they sent us a request for proof of income. So we uploaded the income proof the next afternoon.1 hour later I received an email that our hold is expired and to contact them for further assistance. It was resulted in 10 calls with NO ANSWER within business hours.And then I found out, the hold that was expired was not the apartment that we applied for. And when we logged back in, it says WAIT on the apartment number instead of the one that we applied for.According to my phone logs, I have called this place fifteen (15) TIMES along with 3 voice messages, and they did not call back until the day is over.If I could put -10 stars reviews I would. One of the worst customer services I have ever had.

I am a Realtor, I own my own agency. I am appalled at the poor management of this company. They DO NOT answer the phone or return emails.My client and I need status and clarification but cannot get anyone including the property manager to address our calls or our emails!Good luck if you move into this property as no one will address your needs either!

My husband and I came here about a month ago to apply for these apartments. We applied, we put down a deposit and everything. I kept getting calls from the corporate office telling me that my offer letter for my job is not enough even though at every single other apartment I have ever applied at, that has never been an issue. They kept asking for all these little details that made absolutely no sense. It literally took about a week and we still didn’t even know if we were approved or not. So we decided to just cancel the applications because we had to move in less than three weeks. We applied somewhere else, and literally got accepted in two days. We have good credit, and we make way more than enough. And it took us two days to get accepted somewhere else. We put down a deposit for this place and it’s been almost a month or probably right at a month now, and we still have not received our deposit. The first person told us it was going to take 7 to 10 business days. Well it’s been 30. And the other person said it should’ve went right away. We still haven’t gotten anything. We have called multiple times, and now they are dodging our phone calls. They literally took $200 away from us for a deposit for an apartment we don’t even have. We want our money right now. We’re at the point where we’re about to contact the authorities to get this situated!!

Sheridan Park has been an absolutely phenomenal experience for me. The management is friendly, intelligent, and open to all needs that may arise. Ive had two bad roommates who I met 3rd party and their expert and empathic staff have helped me navigate that experience. This was my first apartment outside of a student dorm and I cannot recommend Sheridan Park Apartments highly enough.Maintenance crew is super awesome and has responded to everything so fast that often the only way I knew they were there was the note of what they repaired.Its right across the street from the Plano Centre, Oak Point and the park behind that. Walmart, Sams Club, and other markets of a wide diversity are within a couple of miles distance. We moved in here not being able to look at the apartment I think because of the noise pollution in this block they didn’t want to deter us. There Is a massive group of children running around breaking bottles in the parking lotwe had a broken washing machine that we lease from them that wasn’t replaced for a month and a have a dishwasher does not work and we have been asking them to come for two months. I will say the maintenance team is very nice also the apartments are good looking and they have a decent dog park. The main problem are the crazy children

I am from out of state. I took a special trip to Texas just to look for apartments. My family and I are moving at the end of June. We found this apartment and paid a $156 for 2 applications plus $200 holding deposit and $6.90 transaction fee.. Sheridan park place called me yesterday June 1st to tell us that they are raising the rent. Even though we signed and agreed upon a different price. I requested my money back for the application fee and the holding fee. I was told that someone will call me right back. It is now 3:00 oclock in the afternoon June 2nd and I still havent heard from anyone regarding my money. This is very unprofessional now Im scrambling to find a place to live as I will be in Texas in less than a month.

I realize this COVID-19 has everyone scrambling to take care if business, however if you are still expecting people to pay rent then you should also hold yourself accountable for the needs of the property. I have a tub faucet that is constantly running steady stream. I received a courtesy call informing meCharley Vargas, a facility and maintenance staff member stopped by today. He did an amazing job completing some long overdue work on our apartment. Polite, professional work as well as cleaning up after completion. It was a refreshing change from previous experiences.

I can definitely tell you we will not be renewing our lease. All of these apartments out here are poorly constructed and they pretty much do patch jobs instead of actually fixing anything. They are all like that. Cant wait to buy a house. Just done with apartment living.Update: Why do you guys only have two maintenance people? I’ve been at Sheridan for 2 years now and I will be signing a third year soon my apartment is nice all new appliances when I moved in I requested new ceiling fans when I moved in and they had no problems doing so they recently upgraded all light fixtures to energy saving led and they look awesome not those cheap fixtures which it saves me money on my light bill, they have a nice playground which my son likes to enjoy they have a nice little dog park the pool by front office is nice with outdoor kitchen, I’ve never had an issue with anyone in the office there always nice to me the girl Taylor who got me in the place always takes care of me whenever she sees me come in all in all it’s a great place lots of food options around quick access to the highway

It has been a living hell living at this apartment complex. Thank god my lease is up soon. I have gone since Febuary with a broken front door and they will not fix it. I finally got a new door around May and then they never put a top lock on the door (WHICH IS A TENANTS RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE IN THEIR APARTMENT...which I don’t). I am a woman with a baby (2 year old) and we stay in this apartment alone. THAT’S NOT SAFE WHATSOEVER and it makes me sick that no one cares or even wants to make me feel secure here. I cannot wait to get out of this hell hole. The staff at this apartment complex are completely helpless and switch up every single day so you never see a familiar face. They are so unorganized and don’t even know what they are doing. I spoke to the manager at the office at one point regarding my maintenance requests all going to “work completed” status as no one has ever fixed anything around here and they automatically put “work completed”on everything and she assured me that someone would come out and fix everything (which they still have yet to do.) I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. I wish I could put pictures of everything but I have all the proof saved in my phone.

I regret moving to Sheridan Park. No one is ever in the office to answer customer questions or concerns. I recently moved to this establishment and have had several things break on me. A piece of my mirror broke off in the bathroom and hit me in the head. I have plumbing issues and the extra mandatory fees to live here is astonishing. Icing on the cake if you do not pay rent on the 1st. even if you pay it on the 2nd they will attempt to enter your residence without a phone call, text message or email. This company invasion of privacy is getting out of control. There is not enough visiting spots for guests, as well as paying mandatory fees for things you dont need. Im ready to move out this location. I have got ants as well. The only reason why i moved to this location was for the great schools around the block. However the price you are paying just to lay your head down with a headache is ridiculously over priced.

It’s one of the worst apartment I have lived in! If it was possible to give them zero star I would! I requested them to fix my windows several times because of the leak when it rains and they never did! Every time it rains the house floods it’s messing up my sofa and I informed them about it but I haven’t gotten their respond! I would not recommend to anyone! Their emergency line doesn’t respond even if it’s emergency! It’s not worth your money!

Ive been in this apartment for about a year. The apartments are nice on the surface, but they come with MULTIPLE issues (the ones in my apartment are reoccurring). Issues arent the problem, I can live with that. The time it takes to complete the issues or even acknowledge them is absolutely ridiculous. The maintenance staff leave notes saying things are done, but upon returning to the apartment things have not been completed, things have been skipped or just done halfway. The office hours are clearly written on the door and on the website, but go to the office 20 minutes before they close to ask a question, pick up a package or what-have-you and half the time theyve already closed the office. If you work during their office hours and leave work early to stop by and its closed - how infuriating!!! Thats my paycheck were talking about. Communication is lacking. Big time. The staff sound like they hate their job (unless theyre trying to sell you the complex.. then theyre oh-so-nice). Im completely fed up with living here and cannot wait until my lease is up!!!!!Positives: the new management team is trying to turn things around.I know it doesnt happen overnight, but once you have a bad taste in your mouth its pretty difficult to like anything about this place other than you have a roof over your head.The blonde that sits in the back (cannot think of her name) is awesome! She is kind and very informative. If she says shes going to do something, she does it.The pool is well-maintained.The gym is small but gets the job done.I dont use any of the other facilities so I cannot review about them.

I have been living at Sheridan Park for over a year now and we signed a lease for another year. We really like it here. Great little playground for my daughter to play at, lots of room to walk my dog, & a dog park. The pools are nice in the summer and the office puts on activities to try to get the residents to know each other better, like free yoga.I will admit there are times when parking and delayed maintanence requests are an issue, but that is the same at any apartment complex this big. The front office staff is friendly. The new parcel drop-off for boxes is great! You can pick up your boxes anytime instead of having to wait for office hours. The garbage pickup is also convenient, especially being on the 3rd floor to not have to bring the garbage bags down to thr dumpster ourselves every day.Overall I highly recommend Sheridan Park!

I know people who lived here for several years and they thought the new management was not that great. They did not involve the community in events, they werent very attentive, and not too polite either. Nevertheless, they believed the area was safe, close to the college, supermarkets, and restaurants. Also told me that you should make sure you are present when maintenance or building workers go there because some of their furniture was damaged due to the people doing maintenance/renovations in the building.

Visited a friend at Sheridan Park tonight. There were no visitor parking spots left so I parked in the next parking slot over. Three hours later my car was towed. There were no signs warning that cars would be towed, no indication that the slot I parked in would put me at risk of towing, and nothing to tell me where the car had been taken or whether or not it was in fact towed (versus the other alternative, stolen). I had to start cold calling towing companies in the area until I finally found the car an hour later.Im so glad I live in an apartment complex where I can have a friend over without worrying about her car being towed within several hours.The leasing office is currently closed but I plan to call them when they re-open on Monday to sort this out. I may change my review then depending on how that interaction goes. The actual apartments and grounds look nice, but having to worry about towing would make me not want to live here. Put some signs up or something letting people know where a towed car was taken.

People are so quick to come on here and gripe, give a one star and a ton of useless information. So I figured I would come and keep it real.I absolutely love living here. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. My apartment is what dreams are made of. It is quiet and overall well kept. You can judge the grounds for yourself if you come and view.With that being said, there are some complaints- there needs to be someone in the office during office hours. At times, the office will be closed because the only person working needs to go show an apartment. In my opinion, this is unacceptable. It seems to be changing and if I notice a change I will revise my review.Secondly, I do not think you can really call yourself a pet friendly apartments. Moving out on my own, also meant getting the pet of my dreams, but nope. They only allow cats and dogs. :(Lastly, having guests over is a huge hassle. Upon moving in, I was told there was visitor parking near my apartment. Between walking back and forward over and over from the parking lot to the front office I found that the only visitor parking was at the front of the apartments. This really should have been common knowledge to the office staff, but apparently it took me going on foot for 20 minutes to get that information sorted out.To a previous reviewer, Sahar retired, she did not quit. Also, she was not a manager. This apartments is not going down the drain youre just being dramatic. In fact, the business center seems to be finally running and the package notifications will probably be fixed soon.

Update: There was a situation with my roommate and I ended up having to transfer my lease to a 1 Bedroom a couple of months ago. The office was SO GREAT and worked with me completely. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to deal with (Jeanne, Anthony, Mikayla and Taylor)!!! Although I had to change some Life Plans to renew for a full year, I am so glad I did. ConAm was pretty iffy at first, but they have really come a long way since the summer when they took over!!! If you work with them, and have some patience, they will definitely work with you. I recommend this place to anyone I talk to looking for an apartment. It is such a great price range for such a great location. There is SO MUCH (Literally anything you can think of) around us all within 5 minutes.I have loved living here so far. It is a perfect location with restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, movie theaters, and so much more! I also really love the office staff. The guy and one of the girls (I’m so bad with names) in there are always friendly and approachable. Maintenance has never waited more than 24 hours to come address a request- even though they might not always know the fix. All in all, I love the place! It is a little outdated, and the “updates” are very hurriedly and lazily done but it is a great place to live!

My roommate and I have been living here a year today.  We would both be leaving this place if it wasnt for the convenience of our lifes. Unfortunately we had to sign another lease.  Where do I even start?!For one, everything seems to keep breaking in our apartment. So many service requests its ridiculous.  The amount of time you have to wait for them to fix it, even more ridiculous.  Our washer has broken...again...even after getting a new one. (This is the 5th time total, Ive had to call about my washer). It has been broken sense Friday 5, 2018, the company was supposed come look at it Friday 12, 2018. Guess what people, it is now Monday 15, 2018. Ill give them credit for refunding the 35 dollars we paid that month for this washer, but why does it matter when I still have to to pay 2.00 for each load of laundry for their washer? Because Im going TWO WEEKS without doing laundry.  Right.I could go on, but its exhausting, I just want to warn others the price and the crappy customer service is not worth it.  Live some place else.If I could give this place a zero I would, but you get a one.

Had an issue occur, regarding our permitted vehicle being towed. Wasnt given the best customer service by our front office, but after contacting our regional, Mr. Mike Johnson at Waterton, the issue was swiftly resolved. The people in the office could use better training in customer service, but its nice to know that the company that owns this beautiful property is willing to step in & take care of the residents when the staff fails them. They have charge me extra $20 for someone else disposal repair.I went to office 4 times.Each time same answer sorry we forgot, the person entered it in the system not here we will investigate... and let you know We moved out on January 31 and still nothing.We got the move out statement and no credit for it. Unprofessional Staff.... Sure they are nice to your face, but anything you request from them well forget it. You ask them for something and they are like sure no problem! Im sure they already forgot your request by the time you are out the door . manager called me and apologized. They sent me check for $20.

Poor and impersonal management with no real decision making power. Towing of vehicles needs to be better regulated. Despite having the issued parking tag with serial number my storage trailer ws towed. I was not contacted prior to the towing of the traile nor after. I found it missing. I was never notified the trailer was towed and paid over $600.00 in towing and impound fees. All attempts to recover compensation from management were to no avail. Room for parking is a problem. Tenants prior to my move in were very dirty. Carpet needed to be replaced as well as the sink due to its stench. Maintenance was reasonably responsive and location was convenient. For the cost I believed these apartments to over priced for the lack of parking and poor, indifferent, and unprofessional management.

If I could give no stars, I would. Disgusting apartments. Got a lease in late February and was out by beginning of April. Bed bug infestation and insanely loud neighbors above me. Me and my children were so happy to get out of this nasty place. Dont move here!!! There are plenty more apartments for a more affordable price in Plano!!

The apartments are fairly nice, but some buildings have some issues (water leaks, rodents, etc). This is just standard apartment issues, and theyre really responsive if you come to them with a building issue.The amenities are lacking, but theyve been working on upgrading as of recent. We just got new workout equipment, and they look to be resurfacing the basketball court.Maintenance is really fast, but i found the emergency maintenance line to be a pain. If the office is open, I go there to file maintenance requests.Parking is a disaster, especially on the north side of the complex, but the garages and carports are relatively cheap, so its a viable option.The regulars in the office are very helpful, and get to know the residents over the months, but the temporary office workers are typically not knowledgeable enough to get anything beyond a maintenance request done.Apartments are quiet and spacious, and besides some maintenance issues the first year, theyve been great.

Things were getting better until yet another management company took over. Con Am left a note in my door saying they would contact me with a new login so I could pay my rent. That never happened. I had to call and get instructions on creating a new login. All of my payment history is gone now, they charge nearly $5.00 to process an online payment (no other option it appears so Im forced to pay an additional $60.00 per year just to pay my rent!!), do not allow a roommate to have a login to pay their portion of the rent & no longer take partial payments upfront - its all or nothing at one time.There is dog poo everywhere! I have a dog but pick up his poo, so its frustrating to walk through the grass - its like walking through stinky land mines.The valet trash was always a stupid idea because bags leak and it stains the hallways. The trash people sometimes conveniently forget to take my trash when I leave it out there. Its embarrassing to have anyone over as it looks like I live in the ghetto. Get rid of the valet trash!Gates are always open - whats the point of having security gates?No longer notified when packages come and when you go to get them youre told to come back tomorrow.Noticed they had painters with tall ladders painting the outside of the building. That does look better, but if you can do this why cant you address the poo and trash issue?It is expensive to live here. I expect the place to live up to what it advertises and for it to be clean and safe for what I pay. And Im not a fan of paying you an extra $60.00 per year just to give you my rent! Ridiculous!Cant wait to leave!

My husband and I moved into these apartments a year and a half ago. When we decided on this place, it had 3/4 stars on Google, and the staff was amazing. The place was quiet, friendly, and well-maintained. It also didnt hurt that its in close proximity to where I work--so everything was awesome.However, we recently got new management through ConAm. First, let me say that I wanted to give them a chance. I really did. The problems started with a plumbing issue. Our shower/bath faucet started dripping. That in itself didnt necessitate an emergency response, but when it started pouring that was another matter entirely.So, of course, we called the office to have it fixed. Nothing. Next, we placed an online request to have it correct. We waited for days with no response. After that, another call during their office hours (duh), with no response. Next, I went down there myself and spoke with one of the new women in charge who took down my information and complaints and said it would be fixed in three days. THREE WEEKS LATER, nothing.So, finally, I walked BACK UP TO THE OFFICE and spoke with YET ANOTHER WOMAN who said it was due to the transition between management. Nuh-huh. That doesnt fly with me after all the communication I tried. It was finally fixed about 2 days later, but it still leaks.This place sucks.Oh, and the former rental portal website allowed you to split the bill with your roommate. Now, it demands the full amount with no ability to divide the costs. This place isnt worth the dirt it stands on. Were moving out at the next available opportunity.

Moved in Aug 2016, initially pleased with apartment nice and clean. Currently, disappointed the over abundance of trash is ridiculously disgusting. I am quite sure all the residents feel the same with the over priced rent in this complex and we are forced to look at trash, dog poop, vomit and the nasty breeze ways each and every day. Then there is the work out room A MESS!! You have no disinfected to clean the machines and it is always messy. So if you use the gym make sure you spray yourself down with antifungal spray afterwards. I am definitely thinking of not renewing our lease and we will be looking for something else in the next year. OH YEAH, I do pay my rent each and every month on time!!!!!

Been in our apartment since January. When we first moved in we informed them about mold around our windows after many servoxe ticket and going to the office multiple times a month later my husband went to the office and demanded they be fixed due to health issues which we informed them of in the beginning. Finally after a month in a half maintance came by bought a painter instead of removing it they covered it up with paint. After we already informed them there was water damage. Now we have water spots on the walls around all three of our windows. Which means there is most likely mold behind the walls. My husband calls up there and voiced his concerns and we were told that they would give a letter to the property manager today about the urgency of the situation due to that fact we have a young child who is now having respitory issues. Well I call up to the office today to speak to the property manager myself and was told they currently dont have one and that the regional property manager is taken over but they dont no when he will be back at the apartments and the best thing to do is to send them an email or they could take a message and give it to him when he comes by. This is getting absolutely ridiculous they have no problem taken our rent money but we are getting no help on serious issues In return.

These apts are water damaged, and poorly built. I can even hear when my neighbors sneeze, walls are paper thin and water damaged. When I moved in the counters in the kitchen were falling in due to more water damage. Took them almost a month to replace. The ants here are out of control, they live in the walls, so they are impossible to deal with. Its a water damaged ant hive here. Silverfish bugs will crawl out of the a.c. vents (which also indicate water damage). Also the ac and general air flow option go out and stop working almost monthly, then maintenance will come in for 2 minutes and fix it then it goes out again (sometimes on the same day). They leave the sprinklers on all winter and there will never be anywhere for you to park, plan to walk at least 5 minutes to your car. Dont live here, dont do this to yourself, its too expensive you can do better!! Also they do not have a way for residents to recycle. I have 1000 reasons why I rate this apt 1 star, but giving them 1 star is being very generous they did not earn it.Edit: after this review they have constantly blown up my phone when They didnt even care about my complaints when I moved in. Im highly allergic to the pest control they used last year and wont let them come poison me in my apt again.Now their system wouldnt work on April 3 to pay my rent and they put an eviction notice inside my door and refuse to take off the $100 late fee when I had paid in time their system just didnt work. They are the rudest trashiest place Ive ever worked with. If $100 means SO much to them that says a lot about the place. Again DONT live here you will regret it every time you pull into one of their 3 broken gates.

Staff are very unprofessional!!! Im a resident here and all I can say is horrible, horrible, horrible. Been here several years, no complaints until the new management change. Very poor customer service. Long wait times, no one answers the phone, issues left unresolved. Save yourself a headache of misery!
