Nice to stay community. Low rental and easy access to all near by stores. Good thing is Kohl’s is very near can go by walk for shopping. Have covered parking.

I love this apartment complete! Everything can be done online which make keep up with documentation much easier. Pricing is super fair with no hidden fees! Management is easy to communicate with and our maintenance request are always started within 24 hours of putting the request in.

I have lived at Summer Meadows since 2009. Back then the maintenance service was not very good. Maintenance requests tool for ever to get a response and often took several calls to get someone to finally show up. When they did the workmanship was substandard. Things have gradually improved since then. A while back Summer Meadows came under different management. Things are MUCH better. I am happy to say that the recent service requests that I have submitted have been responded to in a very timely fashion. The workmanship is also much improved so much that the maintenance technician came back to up grade a recent repair and do a more complete repair that would be longer lasting. He did this of his own volition, i believe because he saw a way to a better job. Thats a good thing that doesnt happen very often...anywhere.I am happy to say that things at Summer Meadows are much better under the current management than they were under the former. If you are considering apartment living I recommend Summer Meadows. The facility and grounds are well kept the management is friendly and courteous and prices are very reasonable.FYI: I usually dont do reviews...good or bad. Not generally prone to, but this time is an exception.Thanks

As usual, maintenance requests are responded to quickly and so very courteously that I have become quite spoiled living at Summer Meadows for the past 21 years. Thanks to the entire office staff and maintenance staff for the good, quality care they provide.

Had maintenance done. Reasonably fast. Fixed Monday around noon when I posted Saturday at 10pm. Fixed first time and no problems since then.

Jose did a good job. Issues resolved.

The maintenance guy was extremely helpful, professional, and fast. I always appreciate our great maintenance team.

So far so good. Only issue is my patio for is stuck shut and I can’t open the door. I think the lock is broke. Other then that it’s smooth sailing.Update: they gave me a new apartment and hired movers. For me to move into it. Enjoying my new apartment.

Put in a maintenance request for A/C unit not working Sunday night and they came right next day and ordered for replacement. In the mean time they installed Mini window A/C. I am totally happy with the maintenance request.

Alex at the office helped us during the move-in process, was very communicative and nice. The whole thing has been smooth and positive. Darryl from maintenance also was pleasant and answered a bunch of my questions. We’re happy to be here!

I am just moving in and am ready to see what this place is about but so far its been great...Alex was very helpful and kind and made my moving in a good experience..I love the property and the apartments itsself it seems like itll be a great experience..

I have allergies. The attached photo is a bathroom ventilation fan caked with dust, dirt, and dried paint. I knew from prior experience this would be the case. An inspection of this fan was requested two weeks prior to move in date and was not resolved, resulting in a second request which was not addressed and given an excuse by maintanance. Leading to a third request with details regarding my allergies resulting in a rush job to replace equipment with new equipment which is clean but does not provide adequate ventilation of bathroom. Mantainance crew did not wear masks or state vaccination status.

I love this place. Everyone’s so nice. And I love how well the staff maintain the area. I just wish there was a dog park for my dog to run around in.

My air conditioner stopped working and Joel was on it and fixed it the next day. Have to be prepared for Texas summers. Thanks Joel!

Been living at summer Meadows for a month now. Its a very quite apartment complex. You can hear some stomping and so forth but in all you cannot hear a whole lot from the tenant above.

Moving in was super quick and everyone here, especially Alex has been very helpful in getting everything set up!

When moved in vacuum picked up a lot of dust/dirt. Had it cleaned 3 times, as well as air ducts. I would only talk to the manager, she would understand and attempt to make situation. An individual in the office was never welcoming. Maintenance guys were nice. Community is friendly and family oriented. Many families walk around the evening and socialize. Nice area in Plano, but be careful there are no gates surrounding the property. And unfortunately the last month of our lease there one of our vehicles was stolen.

Thanks for getting our water on with all the multiple problems of the big freeze on 2021. Appreciated the notices letting us know promptly about issues and about what to expect.

The maintenance need was not a big one, but within a few hours, it was taken care of.

I just moved in a couple of weeks ago, but so far so good. My maintenance requests have all been handled in a timely manner. It’s also a nice, quiet complex!

I love the Landscape & nicely maintained green space. The maintenance staff is awesome & quick. Overall a good apartment complex for the value for money. If they make few upgrades it would be the best happening place in Plano.

Lived here about a year and a half: my phone is unavailable to me, and they wouldnt let me borrow their phone in the office for an emergency. THIS SAYS A LOT about the folks here.Probably wouldnt have mentioned that there are more roaches here than any apartments Ive lived in or the rats Ive see scurrying around the bottoms of buildings if they had assisted me.Thanks,Darren

Ive lived here since 11/2016 and love it. Office staff are very nice. Maintenance made quick response, although I dont agree with their methods, they at least did come and rectify the issues I brought to their attention. Nice grounds. Mostly a quiet environment. They have replaced roofs, gutters and parking awnings. I would recommend this place!!

Never ever apply to Summer Meadows apartments. They are there to eat your money. They get your application fees of 50$ online and reject you for no reason - even if you have a perfect credit score, good qualifying salary and track record. When asked they will direct you to the credit check company and you get no information from them either. This happened to my friend too and he is disappointed with the leasing office and the community. If you have enough cash to waste., then try your luck applying to this community. Wish I could give them less than 1 star. Totally disappointed!

I like the place and the management, they are very helpful and patient. Its been 3 years and i was given awesome service from the summer meadows management. Apart from that regular pest control, cleanliness outside the apartment, security is top notch. I will continue staying here and recommend others to join out community. Its close to bus stop, walmart is under half miles, other shops like dollar tree, taco bell, pizza hut, starbucks etc are very close.I have always been pleased with the service I receive from the management. However, professionalism and ability to get to resolve maintenance request quickly exceeded my trust with them.

Be careful when trying to get an apartment here. They ask for a $50 non refundable charge for application and reject you right after even if you qualify for an apartment. I applied to this apartment with my husband and was told that we did not get the apartment. When I asked why I did not qualify even with a good credit score and clear background, they said they could not tell me. The lady in the leasing office was friendly and professional about it however it is very frustrating to not know why my application got rejected as my application could get rejected by other apartments for similar reasons as well. I highly suggest that you do not lease an apartment here.

This is the worst place to live in Plano! The property is old and is in dire need of updating.They do not care about you or your vehicle. They got spray paint on my new vehicle and even installed a new carport over it while I was at work. I had to clean screws and metal shavings off of it myself. I received no notice to move it!I had to live with black mold under 3 layers of vinyl tiles and linoleum in my bathroom. The smell was terrible and unpleasant.Management is extremely rude and not very cordial to residents. Move on from this property!!

Good place in Plano at the best price possible. Love the atmosphere here. It is also conveniently located, most of the Indian shops and other great malls are closeby.

This apartment complex was a great place to live. It always felt like home. The staff is absolutely amazing and so sweet. Tequitta the financial advisor was always so generous to us when we were in need of help. I would consider moving here if you’re looking for a nice quiet complex to stay at. Me and my boyfriend lived here for two years and had nothing but the best experience.This place is amazing and in a desirable location!

The staff is very friendly and helpful here. Most of the neighbors are friendly. Ample parking. My unit had brand new carpet and fresh paint before I moved in. There were a couple things that the cleaners missed though - gross. They definitely need a new cleaning company or someone to watch them a bit more closely.

I live in a two bedroom, two and half bath townhome near the office here. Overall its been a pleasant experience.Management is helpful and kind. They stayed late to give me the key the first day I moved in. It doesnt mean theyll put up with abuse, but theyre good people. Even the weekly pest control guy is nice! Its also really very quiet, especially considering I live by the pool and tennis court. Ive only heard my neighbor once when they were hammering nails to hang something. Plenty of greenery. Lots of wildlife lives nearby; rabbits and birds, not wolves and bears ;)One aspect that is perhaps negative is the repair work. It felt in the quick and dirty category. The one major problem I had was corrected, to which I am thankful, but I cant say I approved of the methodology. On the other hand, Im certainly not qualified to critique their work with any basis in fact.

The apartments are old but are kept well. The staff is nice and when requested for all our maintenance issues have been promptly taken care of. For its location, the prices are moderate and the neighbours are very nice. All shopping outlets and eateries are nearby. If you not looking for a super fancy place to stay but a nicely located, moderately priced apts with good folks, shopping and school around, you can look for Summer Meadows as an option.

Could be the worst place I have lived at in terms of attitude I received from office staff and treatment of minority residents who happen to be a lot there.Glad I left late last year when my lease expired.I do not care much about the amenities (as I travel a lot) but the staff attitude is the worst.Some of the ladies in the office from the interactions I had its as if they are forced to work there, are underpaid or both.Either way treat your tenants with respect and at least pretend you like your job.Its a great place but the staff could easily help tenants with a positive attitude.I left as soon as the agreement allowed.

These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others

Summer Meadows is a great community in a fantastic neighborhood. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. I love to run and Archgate Park is where I run from my front door. The office staff is nice. The apartments are a good value for the area.

My wife and I have been here for almost 3 years and overall dont have many complaints. Negatives are maintenance tends to take longer than expected but when they do arrive they are very friendly and professional and get the job done right the first time. The only other negative is neither of the two hot tubs work and havent for two years and it doesnt seem like they have any intention of fixing them any time soon. Otherwise the front office staff is awesome and the complex itself is mostly clean and quiet aside from the occasional kid raising hell, I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

From the day you move in till you move out office management is very POOR on handling daily tasks as well as finishing the maintenance on time. This community is 1 star and management deserves minus score. If you live here expect the poor community life style and amenities. If you like old school management choose this community. Management could not fix the small gym more than 3 months. I paid additional gym membership since the small gym room was closed for a long time. Photos of the community is also misleading, see the pool picture, there is no spa, they closed the spa with a nice concrete so expect the pictures are misleading. My photos will be coming to support my valid review. Management is good at taking your money but when it comes to service requests they keep postponing or they are good at saying they are sorry...As a resident lived in this community, we are happy to move out..Do your self a favor and find better communities with a good management skillset.

This complex does not even deserve one STAR. I have lived in so many nicer places that treated their tenants great. First thing is I was not able to see the apartment until one day prior to move in which made me skeptical but they assured me it was nice and looked exactly like the town homes online. Upon move in I discovered paint on my kitchen floor which they stated, they could not remove, cabinets look like it was water damaged, the lower level hardwood floor has a black coating (in which they claim is my dogs urination which is impossible because my dog is trained and it was there when I moved in), stair rail is loose (which they stated is made for decoration not for assistance and they committed to a construction company to come fix it now they have changed their story to it does need to be fixed), and ceiling fan has a loud noise that will wake me up out my sleep (when I ask to have it fixed they denied it was making a noise). Over all I have had the worst experience within ONE month! Do yourself a favor and look at all your option before moving here.

Ive lived here for over 4 years and while its not terrible, its not as nice as it used to be. We have residents that leave their trash on the ground just outside of the dumpsters, which adds to the already problematic rat issues. There are always groups of people walking around the complex at all hours, with little regard that it is, in fact, a parking lot, and not a walking path, they have no regard for vehicles coming and going. I regularly find soda, beer cans tossed into my yard, my biggest complaint, is that the boilers regularly break and youll go many hours without hot water, this happened again last night, probably the fourth time this year this has happened. On the flipside, any time I have needed maintenance, the staff have been quick to assist, and have always been friendly. We very nearly moved out at the end of our lease earlier this year, and truthfully, I regret that we didnt. We will not be renewing next year.

Finally found my home after looking at so many places I encourage new residents to come live over here this place is so great to live at, and the staffing is amazing especially Kate she was wonderful on helping me with my papers..

Missing Packages!!!USPS tracker says that Package Delivered at Desk Reception but when you go to the front desk you will be informed that your package is not there,general practice is that when we get package USPS person leaves you a note in your mail box, so inspite of having that receipt Front desk says that they dont have package,Till date I lost 2 packages and not sure to whom I can direct my query.I am really upset with this and I am pretty sure that I will not be renewing my lease.

I lived here in 2011. I know why late so long to post, but I am.I really enjoyed this place. The woman that got us into the apartment was sooo nice. I wish I could remember her name. She was an absolute doll. She was so pleasant and kind. Also very very helpful.The complex is really nice and quite. The pool was so nice and the athletic complex small but had good machines.Apartment nice and spacious. Parking not bad. You used to get one free covered parking spot. Is was in a really nice neighborhood. I loved it.Maintenance was always came on the double.I wanted to stay there longer but they raised the rent, so I could not afford the increase.

I have lived here over 2 years and for the most part, am very pleased, the staff is consistently very friendly and helpful. Occasionally it takes longer than I think it should to get something fixed but for the most part everything is good.

Overall amenities are poor. Tennis courts are old, basketball court is broken, pool is very dirty, do not think they use proper chemicals in the pool. Maintenance is slow on regular requests, rooms are very old, we had the terrible experience with this Summer Meadows Community overall. Management possibly make comment under this stating we will help you, but in fact if they could, they could have helped when we were living there. We are glad to move out already from Summer Meadows!!! Find another community, this community only cares your $$$s...

No Water (on time) / No electricity (on time) / Lots of Ants / No cleaning / Rude behavior .... They dont have any facility but they need rent on time without single day missing. Stuck ..... I request ALL to choose some good community instead of wasting time in this community.

I am liking the location. Initial move had hassles and there were few issues which I had reported to the leasing office and they have mostly acted upon most of them. Being an old apartment I know few of the things will not be upto the mark.

I have lived here for only a month and have already had 3 mysterious charges to my account. Ive asked what they were for and was told they dont have access to my account to provide me that information? Then when I decided to just go ahead and pay it they denied my payment and then tacked on the 50 dollar return fee.Lesson learned; get everything on paper.

Staff responds to repairs great, grounds are well kept, quite neighborhood, been here five years and like it, maintenance staff are usually polite and well informed as well as helpful.

I had been living in this property for almost 3 years now. The worst property management staff I have ever seen. Except Raani, all of them are rude and have zero courtsey for clients who have been living on this property for so many years. Well, as long you dont encounter a problem in your apartment, summer meadows is a fine place to live but once you need help from thier office staff, your experience can soon turn into a nightmare.

Edited as of 09/14/16There is NO WAY you can pay for this place online. Without warning they took away the option to pay from your bank account for free. If you want to pay with your Card? its a 32.95 Fee. Or you can do a Moneygram for 3.99 What a crappy place with shady tatics. The online portal is never correct it always has the incorrect amount.Moved into a 1 bedroom apt at a decent price BUT without ever seeing it till the day of my move in. When i asked they told me no dwellings were available.Then comes the transferring of my lease to a new apartment. Again didnt see the apt till i got my keys. They had system issues and told me that i had to be the only one on the lease. Then i go try to pick up my keys a day early turns out i paid for an lease that hasnt been written up yet.they dont see a lease written up. Spend all day off from work breathing down their necks to get it done. When they reached a snag they push it aside till you have to contact them again. Then the next day I get a 94.00 receipt in my inbox. I email them, they tell me it for the utilities for still residing at my current address..... But my spouse calls them and they tell him its an payment i missed when I initially moved in 2016. So two different people telling me two different things. Suspicious.The status of the new apartment was... it could have been better. Dust everywhere. theres a black hand mark on the wall. The microwave vent blew out a ton of dust when we tested it. the electrical outlet for the microwave was sitting out in the open the whole outlet box.The fire extinguisher is empty. Im not sure who did the checklist on this ... but it was bad.I say move in if you want to constantly double check your statements. The location is great minus the surplus of kids who play in the street all the time with no concept that its a street. No warning or notification of water maintenance or road construction. Water has gone out three times too many.There was also an animal scratching in the wall one night.. Called maintenance.. They blew it off. Now theres flies coming out of nowhere. on everyones windows in that building has flies all over the windows.The paint is real bad. They spay paint over sinks and tubs. After all the water abuse the paint begins to chip off. Dont enroll in auto pay. random charges with no statements will happen.Packages will go missing, then show up again. The person who does the numbering for them will write the wrong apt number on it and cause people to pick up packages that are not theirs. If possible I would request everything be delivered to your front door when you order something from a company.Will add pictures. Seriously I would choose this place as a last resort. The location is great..... prices are alright. it follows the market. The lay out is great. but the condition of these places are very minimal. .... thats about it.Month Update* My roommate has already lost package. And just today we found a large cockroach in the bathroom. We had to make individual work orders for them to fix things.The neighbors are the only perks to this place.

I just moved in & I can already see how lousy the maintenance is. I asked for a door stop to keep the front door from swinging wide open & banging my furniture & I asked for help or assistance finding someone who does work for them to change out my dryer cord. The girl in the office looked at me like I had 2 heads & kept shaking hers & saying No, they dont do that. I asked her to please at least ask the maintenance supervisor & let me know this was Friday morning, today is Sunday & still havent received a call back. Went back to the office & same dumb look, same negative response. She hadnt even checked with maintenance supervisor, just the office manager! I even offered to pay them for doing these things, both of which were done by my former apartment complex without charge. Ive never received such horrible service after paying $1145 for the last 2 weeks of May & a pet deposit! Not looking forward to living here knowing how maintenance is handled & I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!

Lots of issues with maintenance. 4 times a month when you are out of hot water. Water leakage from roof took a long long time to get repaired with lots of follow up emails. They surely needs to improve a lot on many of these areas.

We have been in almost 6 different apartments till date and this is the worst apartment I have seen, 2 times we missed our packages. In apartment premises we saw lot of thrash.

This place is noisy, unclean, unhealthy, non-friendly and unhealpful. Stay away if you want a peaceful life.

They are getting worse and worse, the new staff is rude and disrespectful. They are charging fees which is not in the contract and there is no manager in the office to control their staff... you would be better to stay away from this place. Not recommending this apartment at all unless they learn how to behave n remove the extra fees which is not in the contract.
