Even though I made the tough decision and ended up signing with a different property, I enjoyed visiting Gateway. The staff was visibly busy to the point that I thought I was going to get ignored, but I was greeted with a welcoming and disarming smile from Jennifer, that was much needed after a long day of multiple property visits, moving from out of state, and work. Her professionalism, flexibility, and follow up gets five stars, every time. The rating ultimately reflects the property, although beautifully with nice amenities, its overshadowed by their pricing structure that seems like its in place to get more money out of their residents. Paying an extra $840 for a fixed assets like smart home features and package lockers is ridiculous. The cracks began to show when you quickly realize that its not a smoke free property, and read the reviews of residents cars constantly getting towed.

After searching and visiting, the Gateway Crossing apartments was a great experience! I was very happy that the apartments gave me a lot of information about the apartments. Kelly, the person who was helping me with my questions was very understanding and sweet. She helped me have a better understanding about the apartments. She was very helpful during the apartment tour. I cant wait to live here soon! (:

One of the nicest apartments I’ve had. Great rent specials. The only thing I didn’t like is the strict parking . Not very many places to park and the smallest thing will get your car towed … your guess as well . I’ve had to pay to get my car out of the tow yard many times simply because I didn’t have specific stickers on my rentals . They don’t care if you live there or not they will take your car regardless.

It’s been over a month since my apartment was damaged by the flood. I have been really patient with the management team allowing them time to get the work done. There is mold growing in the kitchen cabinets, they are multiple holes in the walls left open. I have expressed to management how unsafe this unit is especially with the growing mold for my newborn. I am now completely over it, I have asked for another unit but they expect me to start a new lease and pay the current rates. It’s been a nightmare to get management to take some accountability. Every week it’s something different at this point my only option might be to reach out to their corporate office. It seems to me their own concern is money, which is fine but I want the apartment that I am paying for. Not a health hazard apartment.UPDATE: I am more than glad to update on this pending issue with the management team. I was able to get the repairs needed in my current unit and worked out a new transfer option with the team. I worked with Carrie who was very sweet and professional, I am happy to continue living here with my family. Happy current resident!!! :)

Gateway Crossing has incredible facilities, apartment homes and prices! I loved working with the staff. Im pregnant and touring in the heat was hard so they made sure to give me lots of water and snacks. They also were so responsive and timely with everything! I would truly recommend anyone to this place.

Left my tour completely ecstatic about these apartments! I was very happy with the amazing and welcoming service Dominic gave me. He helped me have a better understanding about the apartments and was able to really inform me on ANY little question I had. If anyone can get a tour booked with him they wont regret it!

If you like paying for amenities that youll never be able to use this is the place for you. Been here a couple months and the gym they promised would be open at move in is still closed. The pools…closed, business center…closed. But don’t worry we are renovating it so hopefully its open before your lease is up. If youre wondering, yes there are pet fees and no the dog parks will not be stocked with bags so be prepared to bring your own. This apartment promises a lot, charges a lot and you don’t get a whole lot.

I toured this property on 7/26/21 and Marbin did a great job! She was very knowledgeable about the community and answered all of my questions. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and the atmosphere was welcoming. The office was kept clean and the property was beautiful! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the area!

I just love this place, we have a very nice community, i have 2 years living here and everything has been improved. Pools, packages & mail rooms are really nice. You can enjoy the parks or just walk outdoors, it’s really nice and safe; Maintenance Team is great, Carlos Oliva has responded immediately and had solved all the issues, this property is no nicely kept and office Team is always nice & friendly.

I just moved to this apartment. The move in process was very smooth with help of Jennifer. I have been very busy because of move and I did not have much time, but because of her help and reminder and preparation I had no problem.So far the apartment looks nice and similar to pictures.

I recently rent an apartment at Gateway Crossing Apartments. Im so happy with the staff specially with Jennifer De La Garza. She helped me a lot and did the renting process so fast. Whenever I had questions, she was there and helping me with that. Im so happy and I cant wait to live in my new home.

EDIT: BEWARE OF ALL THESE FAKE REVIEWS. You can see when sorting by the Newest reviews that the complex is spamming them with new Google accounts. Next to each fake name, you can see theyve only ever left one review on Google. It is a tell-tale sign that they are spamming fake 5 star reviews.Yeah, no. Dont do it. There are better places to spend your money that dont keep adding on fees. Not to mention its a supposed luxury complex, but our apartment wasnt even clean upon move-in. Weve had spider issues for months and pest control never does the job. If you have noise issues with neighbors, the complex will not do anything about it but tell you to call the police. There is also no parking. Ever. We had to add a garage to our lease because finding parking was impossible, especially if you come home from work at night. Dont expect much if you move in here. When our lease is up, were gone.

Gateway Crossing is a great community. The staff is very helpful and seems to always answer any questions quickly. Location is great with easy access to the Bush and 75. Highly recommend!

Previous management was very nice. New management just wants to make money off you. They increased the rent by 50% if you want to go on month to month after lease finishes. They charged monthly fees for Luxer which was closed for almost an year. They closed all the amenities that are included in rent like swimming pool, common area due to COVID but not the food truck because they make money. Even now they are not opening amenities because of maintenance work which they couldnt do while it was closed for last 1 year. Also there is no parking available if you come after 10 PM. You have to park on the street where there is construction going on. Stay away!!!. Also be prepared to have your rent increased by more than 10% every year.

I stalked the website for two months before signing a lease, watching prices on available units because they do change daily. I mean like a $600+/mo swing in pricing on their 3 bedrooms. So do your due diligence before just signing. I moved into my apartment in mid March and love the unit and the complex itself. Landscaping is very pretty throughout. Maintenance has been very quick to respond to and repair any issues.However, I am disappointed in a few things. First, the pool right by my building isnt going to open for summer like the other two pools in the complex due to at least 9 months of ongoing construction in one of the amenity buildings right next to the pool. Part of the reason I chose the unit I did was because it was right by the pool.Secondly, they charge a monthly fee for a parcel service with parcel lockers near the main office. Upon move in, I was told that there was nothing special to do and that all the carriers know to deliver packages there. I order a lot online and have had ONE package out of about 20-25 that actually went to this parcel room. Ive had several that I had to track down at the post office because they said the package couldnt be delivered and the rest just show up on my door step. A few have been stolen from my front door. Ive resorted to just having everything delivered to my work to avoid the headache. They also charge monthly for valet trash service to be picked up Sunday-Thursday from your front door. My trash only gets picked up about half the time. And yes, I am putting it out between the correct hours and on the correct days. They also require you to use their trash can. The one I was given was clearly used and not clean at all with crusty dried stuff all around the lid and inside the bin. Youd think for a complex that touts itself as luxury coupled with the $25 monthly trash fee; theyd provide a new or at least cleaned and sanitized trash can.The other HUGE complaint is the way the office has brushed off my concerns over the incredibly loud second floor neighbors above me that moved in about a month ago. They jump, run, pound, scrape, and sounds like skateboarding across their floor literally 24 hours a day. They NEVER stop making noise! I dont know if they have 5 kids or 25 people living up there, but there is constant extremely loud pounding non stop. I dont know how they never sleep or stop moving around. Its so bad that my ceiling fans are shaking, dust falls out of vents in the ceiling, and theyve somehow damaged the AC vent in one of my bedrooms from their constant pounding to where it now rattles any time the air is running. I called the office twice to complain and was just told to call the courtesy patrol or the police if the noise is happening during quiet hours of 10pm-7am. Courtesy patrol never answers the phone and I didnt want to call the cops on them because Im a single mom and was worried about retaliation. So, I put a nice respectful note on their door just explaining how loud it is down here and we cant sleep. Management also sent out a generic email to my building reminding people to be respectful of noise and others living in the building. Their behavior has not changed and management has refused to contact them directly. My kids and I cant sleep, forget about sleeping in on weekends, and my dog is stressed out and skittish. I feel like I live in a war zone!Rent here is not cheap by any means. I work a lot of hours and Im paying a lot of money for a home I cant even get a moments peace or relaxation in! I chose a first floor unit because I have a dog with hip problems, and I expected some noise. This is beyond normal noise! I dont know what other recourse I have and I still have another year left on my lease. I was hoping to stay a few years here, but if this situation doesnt resolve Ill be forced to move.

I had to relocate from Austin and I’ve visited my cousin here. I instantly fell in love with the community and ended up signing a lease here with the crossing. The initial onboarding was super smooth by Marbin. All my questions were answered with utmost patience. The service requests were served as soon as possible. The resolution time was quick. I like the steps they’ve been taking up to tackle COVID from the past few months. I’ve happily completed my 7 month lease with Gateway crossing and looking forward to continue staying with them furthermore.The only thing I thought could’ve been better is the visitors parking. It’s hard to find a spot in the Evening time.Overall wonderful experience.

I had a great time applying for an apartment in the Gateway Crossing community. MaTyia, one of the associates who works in the leasing office, is super friendly, always looking to help out, and is extremely patient with getting you through the application process. Finding the right apartment can be competitive, because these apartments sell like hot cakes, but I’m overall happy with the apartment that MaTyia found for me and I am grateful that she didn’t give up.

This is one of the best apartments I’ve lived in so far management are always great especially the service manager he was very helpful and cheerful great manger by far when I had issues in my apartment.

Air Conditioning always goes out. This causes misery in Texas heat. During the week no one answers the phone sometimes for days to assist in resolving issues. This is not reflective of luxury living. They continually send inexperienced staff to patch up my A/C. No fixes are permanent and its not working again in just a few days.

I love this community! The staff is friendly. The community is always so clean and peaceful! Submitting service requests are easy and maintenance comes right out! The units are absolutely beautiful! I live on the 3rd floor and i have high ceilings and large windows! And a beautiful view! Gateway crossing definitely sets the standard for luxury living.

I am living at this place from last 4 months. Its really clean and affordable. The administration is very cooperative when you need them, especially Claudia Diaz. She’s very cooperative and ready to help you whenever you need. Highly recommended place!

When we first moved I loved management when Mari Cruz was there then after she left everything went downhill from there. New management just wanted money for “taxes” they say but they don’t care about you as tenants I felt they didn’t resolve issues accordingly and my orders for Uber eats and Amazon always got mixed up with other tenants because all of the apartment numbers in each building were the same and they never did anything about it.

Leasing office issues, Maintenance issues, BUG issues, Parking issuesAfter Living here for almost 7 months I now see a lot of problems with Gateway Crossing Apartments, unfortunately there are more cons then pros when deciding to live here. It is almost impossible to get in contact with the leasing office the phone constantly rings and nobody ever picks up, does anybody even work there? if you have maintenance work that needs to be done in your unit forget about it itll take days even if its urgent. For example my kitchen sink that was leaking they told me theyre going to send somebody out that same day. It took two days for somebody to finally come out AND I had to call them prior to remind them, not to mention I also am having a BUG problem in my unit and pest control doesnt even care to do there job right they told me there going to come back in a week to continue on fixing the problem and never came back. Parking is definitely a big issue when living here it is almost impossible to find parking after 6 PM Monday - Sunday there are so many covered parking spots and not enough free parking for the residences forcing you into getting a covered parking spot thats $50 a month on top of rent. We Pay so much to live here and you have to deal with issues like this, its very unfortunate & disappointing because my unit in particular is exactly what I always wanted in an apartment, it is beautiful there for I am give them 2 stars but they really need to work on issues like mine and other residents because right now it seems like they dont care and all they do care about is making sure your rent is on time.

Gateway Crossing is amazing! We moved in in August, and everything has been great. Kelly Bonilla is the person we always talk to, and she is beyond amazing! We always get an immediate response to our emails, and if we have work orders they are finished very quickly (and for such a large complex this is amazing to us). Kelly always sends updates about what is going on (food trucks during the week, giveaways they are doing, etc) and her communication is on point. This is a great little community and now that they are updating their homes into “smart homes” they have been extra communicative and always work around our schedule for anything needed. If you are looking for a new community, talk to Kelly at Gateway Crossing! She will do everything she can to make sure you are happy and answer all your questions :)

As of 2/20, I have been here for about a month and I want to share my opinion about the apartments and the staff. The apartments are very well kept as far as exterior/interior. I have had no issues with noise or neighbors. The staff is very nice, but I must say that Itzel was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and answered many of my questions very fast. If things are like this as time goes by I could definitely see myself here long term. Finding parking would be an issue for some but other than that 5 stars for me.

I moved from Austin to the Gateway Crossing apartments and I must say that I love it! The complex is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly. I have to shout out Brooke and Matyia. Matyia I believe is new to the leasing office staff, but is very professional and always promptly answers the phone when I call. Extra points to her for remembering me by voice and acknowledging me by name. She epitomizes great customer service. Brooke is also awesome and was the one who helped me lease my apartment. Definitely a great complex to live in if you are looking.

I was new to the DFW area earlier this year moving from Virginia for a new job and found this to be the best bang for your buck, after Matyia helped me find a unit with a balcony. After living here for a month or so now, I definitely made the right decision. The pool is great and they do a great job of making sure the landscaping is kept up.

Even though I did not choose this community due to the location of my job I do have to say that Kelly was Amazing! She knows what customer service is. If you are considering this property make sure to ask for her.

Nice area, but I hate living here! I will not be renewing my lease and I don’t recommend moving here! They send emails about guest parking and that they need parking passes, but don’t specifically explain how to obtain one. Come to find out, AFTER my car was towed after being parked for less than an hour, that you have to physically get a pass from someone in the office. They want you to call or email to get a pass from them (which they NEVER state in the weekly parking reminders) but have never been available to answer my calls during business hours. Their website for paying rent always has some technical issues. I paid my rent days before it was due, rent showed paid but my money was still in my account... almost a week later, I was notified that one of my payments went though but the second one was “returned” just for them to charge me an extra $75. When I called to ask them about it, of course, no one answered the phone and I have yet to receive a call back! DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!!

My process for moving in has been great and a whirlwind so far. There has been a few hiccups, but Kelly has been helping me with the whole process and has been great! Once I move in and get settled with everything, I will update how everything has been going, but the move in process is going pretty good so far.Edit: So far, things have been better since my move in. No place is perfect, but Gateway Crossing does a great job! They do their best to make sure everyone is up to date with what is going on. Kelly is great at responding to my concerns and questions in a reasonable time frame if I wasnt able to get through right away. She has been great since I moved in!

I’ve lived here for going on 4 years now and Brooke is AMAZING. Anything you need she will get it done as soon as possible. The maintenance crew is on top of it ... never a long wait. The apartments are in a very convenient location. Nothing negative to say. We love it here!

The new management company is all about money now. I have been at this complex for almost 4 years and I have never received a lease renewal document that states my rent will increase by almost $140 monthly. I can’t believe that during a pandemic while most individuals are currently struggling, Gateway Crossing is increasing tenant’s rent by over $100. It is unfair as a tenant that I am being forced to pay monthly fees for additions the property management team decided to put into place that the tenants never asked for. I am deeply disappointed in this ordeal. So run away, they will only be after more and more money from you.

If you like having your guests walk a country-mile to/from the complex, in order to park in indeterminably, confusing parking spaces, with permit signs that are not displayed prominently enough throughout the property and barely visible after sunset, resulting in the high likelihood of being towed – then this is the place for you! During a recent short-term visit, our car was towed. It cost $308 to get it back, and that was fortunately, before midnight! The cost goes up after 12-PM. So non-parking permit visitors, and guests… BEWARE! In the future, when visiting long or short-term, you best believe I will get dropped off, avoiding altogether the risk of any parking debacle. This complex’s towing arrangement is quite a “racket” - - as we were told by someone at the towing yard how unreasonable and confusing the parking is to guests! SHAME ON YOUR MANAGEMENT! You need to seriously re-configure your most un-hospitable visitor/guest parking allocation.Signed,NOT AT ALL A FANOF THE GATEWAY CROSSING

DO NOT RENT HERE!!Non stop construction around all sides of apartment complex. Pools are filthy and halls are filled with trash. Management has gone down since the original team was bought.The apartments may look nice but they are cheaply built. Not worth the trouble.

Been living here since June and I love this place and already fully intend to renew as long as the rent is right.The only issue I have ever had has been with deliveries due to the complex originally built as three separate apartments so there were three different building 1’s and 2’s and so on which confused Amazon, DoorDash and they’re like but that should be changing since the same management company that owns Gateway Crossing bought out the other 2 apartments and they are remodeling everything to really look like one complex.Office is busy but they are great on calling back if you leave a message or email them with questions and are just all around really nice.

I just moved in to this apartment recently have I had known what I was getting into I would have went with another apartment. Since day one of just trying to apply, me and my Roomate had to micromanage the entire process. From the beginning we were told you can pay over the portal and it never showed up. We called asking why the rent hasnt been posted. This was the first time we were told you cant pay the first months rent in the portal. This made us have to expedite the money order.Getting in contact with the staff is an absolute headache. Instead of picking up the phone to call you have to leave a voicemail or message on website. Come to find out new management is being cheap by not using the already installed security cameras that were placed there for our safety from the pervious management. I know this because I spoke to management about this when someone I knew was affected by a crime. I will definitely NOT be RENEWING my lease.

I recently moved in and had a wonderful experience with Gateway Crossing right from the beginning of signing the lease with Dominic till getting the keys from Kelly. It was Kelly who worked with my apartment requirements, documentations and Follow ups. Kelly did a tremendous job, she is always prompt with email/phone call reply and i had a hassle free move in.Upon move in, I found few minor repairs and maintenance team was on top of it. Jonathan who worked on all my request was exceptional, he knows what he is doing and got the work done so neatly.Finally thanks to Brooke in taking time to follow up with me regarding my move in experience and overall I am so happy with my new apartment and community.

I was very impressed with the community based on others that I visited as far as cleanlines. It really shows that they care about their appearance.

I can’t begin to explain the disappointment.....I could go on and on about the things going wrong here, but I guess I won’t. I don’t have the energy or the want to explain something that is so cringe worthy obvious. There is no such thing as service here. Again/ I won’t explain or go into detail because that would require effort. Something this complex knows nothing about.Save yourself the time and trouble. Just say no.

I had a very positive experience with the leasing staff at Gateway Crossing. Originally I had worked with Itzel and Dominic they both provided me with a few different layouts and actually cared about me being there. I also spoke to Kelly who worked hard to find me another unit since the other one was leased. I plan on filling out an application next fall. I have searched near and far and have yet to feel important while looking for my new apt.

I had a good experience at Gateway Crossing I would personally give it 4 stars. However, Brooke in the front office deserves 5 stars. I am super grateful how easy she made my transition. Unfortunately, I am moving to a new city or I would still call Gateway my home. Please if you move here ask for Brooke she is such a genuine person that’s willing to help!!

This is by far the best community Ive lived at. I have been here for two years now and planning on renewing again. The management recently changed and I am very happy with the adjustments made. The community is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Ask for Claudia if you want the best customer service!

I love my apartment!! The staff is extremely friendly and quick to respond. Brandi is so awesome! She has helped resolve the few issues that have come up and has just been so helpful. The maintenance team is great too! There has been much improvement since the management change. Highly recommended!

You guys! I love my apartment. This community is so nice and clean. The staff is super friendly and I never have seen an apartment so clean at move in. I was very impressed with my move-in gift, the quality of the finishes and how nice everyone is. I just moved in and I hope to live here for a long time! Over all this community is a 5 star! I visited the complex with my boyfriend and got help from Matyia. She was such a pleasure to work with and answered any questions I had.

Living here for over 2 years has been a great experience! The staff is responsive to repairs and needs, the complex offers great activities, wonderful amenities, and a quite peaceful place to call home! In particular one of the leasing agents, Marbin, in the office is spectacular & goes above and beyond anytime there is a question or problem.

Brooke was super helpful! We were able to get all our questions answered quickly and in detail! The leasing process was such a breeze and the complex is beautiful! LOVE IT!

I will not call this beautiful property home until the 15th of December, but yet Brooke has already made me feel at home here. She has such a wonderful and contagious spirit about her that every time I speak with her, I always get off the phone with all my questions or uneasy feelings answered and gone. She knew me by name by only the second time we spoke, you can tell she loves her job and the residents! I have not met her in person but I already feel as if I have. I am so glad I chose to call Gateway Crossing home with the bonus of working with Brooke!

This community is nice and the units are really spacious. The staff is friendly and gets things done the first time they are asked for something. The manager is new and is super nice and gets things done when asked. Love this property!

DO NOT rent this appartment！I wish I could rate them zero.the management team is radiculous. We have rented for 8 months and when we moved out they wanted to charge us $150. there was no damage and the apartment was clean and in very good concition，exactly same as we moved in. they explained $150 is the depreciation cost（carpet life of 5 years，and they charge us for 1 year）. this is radiculous！this should be their ordinary buniness cost. and it is totaly illegle for them to charge this when leasee move out! We alreay paid rent for you guys to COVER this！！

Gateway Crossing is a beautiful property! The location is convenient & accessible to many things. Ive driven by the community during different times of the day & it appears to be peaceful.I recently called the property to get information & had the pleasure of speaking with Dominic. Even though I am looking to move in at a later time, he was very professional & provided me with current prices/availability. Dominic also suggested when it would be a good time for me to call back to get updated information on apartments that fit my move-in time frame. He told me about the amenities available & answered all my questions. Thank you so much!

Brooke is awesome to work with. She made our moving transition super easy. We have lived in this community for little over 3 yrs and it has been a wonderful experience. We feel very safe here and thats very important to us. I highly recommend Brooke for your moving needs.
