I’ve been here for last 2 years, never faced any problems, service requests will complete by next day. Staff specially Radha Driver is very nice and caring.

Home away from home. The staff and the maintenance is undoubtedly good. The property manager Radha is Friendly and kind spoken person.

Independence Crossing has new management, and though the old management wasnt bad, our current management is exceptional. I have been here two years, and my maintenance requests are always completed on time. Management listens to my concerns. The complex is friendly and (mostly) quiet. I have a little fenced enclosure for my dog. I highly recommend Independence Crossing.

Although I had some issues with the current management company who took over the complex in 2013, these issues were eventually worked out and the assistant manager and manager who were there at the time have gone elsewhere. I cannot say enough good things about the current staff at the complex that has been in place there several years now. The current Manager Debbie has been very helpful when I have needed to reach out to her for assistance with various items and has always been friendly despite some of the questions or problems I may have brought to her. The maintenance staff was always very quick to resolve my problems when I would submit a work order, and even one case where I had an emergency repair that needed to be done. The complex overall is a pretty quiet residence to live and I was fortunate over the many years I lived there to have good neighbors most of the time. I recently moved in order to take care of relatives, otherwise I would still be living at the complex.

Parking can be horrible if you have more than one car. Each tenant gets one covered parking space and then a second car uses common ‘first come’ parking spots. The closest one to my door is 441 away — that’s a football field and a half. And I only get that parking space if it’s not full. If you have visitors, they might as well Uber in and save a hike. The garbage dumpster is even further away so I have to load my garbage into the car and drive it to the dumpster which is inconvenient.

Been here for 5 years. Always loved it here. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff. We have a new apartment manager who is very kind. I miss the old one though, she was awesome as well.Maintenance is very friendly too. They do yearly inspections to make sure nothing needs repaired and of course come any time you call for them.It is expensive, but everything in Plano is, really. For the price you cant get much better.That said, I wont be able to afford it here much longer. So soon, will have to move away, sadly. I will miss it here.

Great place to live! Close to shopping, good food, walking trails and parks. The apartment was clean, no problem with anything nasty. Loved the rabbits who roamed the property. The pool area has nice chairs and loungers with covered sitting. Neighbors were nice and helpful. Management was helpful and were great compared to most places. Never had an issue with maintenance, they were friendly and kind as all the staff at Independence Crossing have been. I would live here again.

Great management and the maintenance guys are quick and pleasant to work with. My wife and I lived there for two years and would live there again. The grounds are clean and its very quiet. Overall a wonderful experience living there!

Just moved out on 07/24/2019 after one year in the in the 770 sq ft 1 bed/1 bath (moved out due to wanting to be closer to work near downtown Dallas). No complaints here. Debbie in the front office was great and always responded quickly to any issues. Maintenance has VERY fast and usually showed up within an hour of the original email request. This specific unit has 1 massive closet and 2 other smaller closets, making the storage situation ideal. Very quiet property; squirrels, rabbits, birds everywhere, making it pleasant. Very nice dog park, nice pool area. They are constantly doing renovations to make the complex even better. Highly recommend.

I lived here for 2 years and i loved it. The only reason that I left is because of my job, I moved to South Texas. This apartment complex is a great place to live it is quite here and the grounds are well maintained. They are fast in resolving any issue that I have in my apartment and I also feel safe because they have a security gate. The office staff are also friendly.

We have been living here for over a year and it has been great for us. We love our townhome style floor plan. It feels like a little home. The front office is always very friendly and helpful. Its also a small and quiet community which we like. The apartments have great finishings and stainless steel appliances. The workout room is also nice and clean.

Rent & billsThe website needs some improvement and some fixes below:* Improvements:- Please add the available units and new rent price details online, like what other places do.- It would be nice to see my detailed payment history not only the current month- It would be nice to see comments with details on maintenance orders after it’s done, just to know what happened.* Fixes:- When adding a maintenance order online the font is white and the background is white ( you don’t see what are you writing.

By the time my wife and I conclude our current lease in a few months, it will have been the better part of three years that we lived at Independence Crossing. After that, we will be moving on account of our own various reasons and needs, but our experience here has been nothing but positive. Now that we are back in the process of narrowing down the next location for ourselves, we’ve been reminded how much we appreciate honest, transparent reviews from people who have actually lived somewhere for a while. (Many apartment reviews seem to be written by people who either just moved in or who are going out of their way to complain about one specific problem.) So, all that being said…Since day one, Debbie and the rest of the staff have been nothing but perfectly kind, prompt, and helpful in all of our interactions.The same goes for the gentlemen who oversee maintenance, who were especially quick to resolve any issue we ever had (which were fairly rare).The overall environment has always been quiet, friendly, safe, and clean.I never once had any issue with the drive-thru gate systems or any of the passcode-protected doors.I literally never had someone else park in my assigned spot, which is very close to our unit.As a runner, I am constantly either running along the trail that runs right by the complex, or running on the treadmill at the gym. The gym is always clean, and it was never crowded. (In fact, you will usually have it to yourself.)The on-site laundry always worked well for us before we got our own washer/dryer.The trash doesn’t overflow and is picked up as routinely as is needed.It was never an issue to have packages delivered – whether at the leasing office or at our front door.Basically, what I’m saying is that so many concerns that people tend to have were simply never a problem here for us…ever! Sure, you can find newer places with higher-grade features and finishes, but I do feel that we got very good value for the rate that we have paid. And while it’s easy to want to be “wowed” when you are searching for an apartment, what you truly and ultimately will want is a place where you feel comfortable, safe, respected, valued, and “at home” on a daily basis. That is exactly what our experience was at Independence Crossing over these past few years, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for those criteria in their potential new home.

I was thinking about moving there but found out they are rat infested. I have a couple friends who live there and they are trying to get out of there because she wont do anything about it. I called to tell her why I didnt want to move there and the manager Debbie said that she didnt know anything about rats being on the property. I almost got run over by one the other night. Would not advise anyone to move there.

THESE APARTMENTS ARE REALLY GOOD BUT TOO EXPENSIVE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT DONT THINK ABOUT THIS PLACE BECAUSE IT DOESNT HAVE A BEDROOM AND NO PRIVCY

This apartment complex has a bug problem, in particular, cock roaches. And sometimes at night you will see rats running through peoples patios.
