The owner Steve was very professional and extremely knowledgable when I called after seeing one too many yellow jackets flying around in my living room for my liking. He had us on the schedule quickly. The technician Jeremiah was hands down, in a word, awesome. Very detailed, educated, and polite. I will 100% use Bee Control for any other needs that may come up and fully recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, locally owned and operated company.

Huge bees nest in my siding on the front of my house. I tried several sprays myself, and after I was stung I figured Id call the professionals. And professionals they were! The owner answered my call and told me theyd be out the next day around 1pm. Then he called in the morning to say it would be closer to 1:30p. At 1:25p, the technician showed up, did his thing, and no more bees. He charged me exactly what he quoted on the phone the day before. Highly recommend.

Very professional and thorough. Called them to remove a ground hive. Not only did he remove the hive but knowing work was being done to repair a retaining wall the rest of the area was checked out too. Dont know what Id of done without them. If you ever need to get rid of bees (my nest was yellow jackets), I highly recommend Bee Control. They were on time for the appointment window they set up, called me to let me know when they were close and explained everything very well. They not only treated from the inside but also treated where they were coming in from the outside. They use a killer that doesnt harm animals. They get rid of any live ones in the house and clean up the dead ones. And they have a warranty and if there is still a problem in 2 weeks, theyll come back free of charge. I was very pleased with the service.

After finding a yellow jacket nest in our mulch bed, we contacted Bee Control. They returned our call within 20 minutes and were out to take care of the nest within an hour! They were extremely knowledgeable and even checked the rest of our yard for any other signs of nests.

Last week I noticed a basketball-sized hornet nest on my 4th floor attic window so it was up pretty high. I called Bee Control on 8/9/21 and the nest was gone first thing in the morning 8/11/21. They promised they would spray and remove the nest even at that height and they delivered. I highly recommend them. I had originally called Orkin last week and after a week the nest still wasnt removed. Furthermore, they said they would not climb on ladders and wasnt sure if the spray would reach that high and couldnt remove the actual nest from the window. Orkin also recommended what I could do if they couldnt remove it (Im a 60 year old woman). Unbelievable. Get it right the first time and call Bee Control.

Called to ask some questions, and unfortunately they’re out of range for me, since I’m in Erie. But that didn’t stop the owner from answering any and all questions I had! Such a nice guy. Fingers crossed on a sister company in my area!

Steve safely relocated a large nest of honey bees today (45,000) from under the floor of my barn. I had talked to other people about the removal of the bees in the past and they refused the job due to the nest being within the structure. Steve was able to cut the floor out in the barn in the location of nest and safely remove all the bees without any damage to my structure. 10/10 service, will be the first place I call for any issues down the line.Steve also was a wealth of knowledge on just about every bee related question I could ask. Im sure he can handle any bee related issue your having and for a reasonable price!

My father called Bee Control Pittsburgh about a large honey bee nest he found in his backyard. They came out a few hours after he called them and removed the nest free of charge (since honey bees are endangered) before the weather got cold again. They told my dad that they just wanted to make sure they were able to save and relocate the honey bees before the cold weather killed them. Thank you so much for saving the honey bees and removing it from his yard! People do not realize how important honey bees are!

I called a few days ago because we had a swarm of honeybees and some carpenter bees. Seth called before he came over about a half hour before our appt and asked if he come early. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional and ended up treating what turned out to be a colony, killing the carpenter bees and throughly checking the rest of our property to see whether there was any further damage from the carpenter bees. Highly recommend!!!

We had what I thought were hornets going into a bump out on my deck. I called Bee Control for a quote. Even over the phone, they were able to tell me they were Paper Wasps and not hornets. They were able to give me a quote over the phone and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. When they came the next day, they were able to quickly spray for the wasps and able to answer all my questions about sealing up the holes to prevent them from coming back. He mentioned a preventative spray they do in the spring, but unlike other companies, there was no pressure to do. Also, the quote given over the phone was exactly what I paid and if the wasps come back within the next 3 months to that spot, theyll come back to respray at no cost. Highly recommend and would use again!

I called Bee Control when I ran over a yellow jacket nest with my lawnmower. They sent someone out very quickly. He inspected the area and quoted me a price for removing the nest. Since it was in the ground, he had to dig up the yard, which is something I expected. From the safety of my neighbors house I watched him move quickly to dig the nest out and dispose of it. He put back the dirt as best as he could, which I appreciated. He also quoted me a price to treat all around the house and when I declined, he didnt pressure me. I will definitely use Bee Control again if the need arises! I highly recommend them!

Called Bee Control to look at an infestation problem 2 stories up on a busy city sidewalk. Reached someone live at my first call and he showed up quickly, later that day. Problem was handled quickly and correctly the first time. If needed again, would use them in a heartbeat.

Be wary of this company. What you are told and what you are charged for could be different. I hired them to remove an underground yellow jacket nest and was told that the nest would be dug up. I was very clear about the location of the nest near my air conditioner and was told that area was as common as common can be. When the tech came to perform the service, they dug around the nest just enough to ruin the grass but ultimately did not remove the it as I was told. Only insecticide was used and it did not work because the nest was very deep. The nest remained active for over a week and I had to purchase insecticide and apply it myself. I called the company and expressed my concern about the nest remaining but was given differing explanations than when I first called.I find out later that someone from this company entered my property once again without my knowledge or authorization to dig up the nest (as they were supposed to originally). I found out this out because of the chunks of yellow jacket nest left all over the location. Never received a call or an explanation. Moreover, they left rocks, chunks of grass, and dirt all over the area. Not to mention the gaping hole where the nest was - the work was unprofessional and lazy. If you are paying a company $250 to remove a nest, they should take care of it from beginning to end.Choose another company.

Rude and has no time for questions. I have a little one who is ill and im very weary of chemicals around the house. He made me feel like a bother when i asked questions. When someone arrived they were also rude and i was charges an extra $100 than what was said on phone for an underground nest removal.

Call Steve dont get stung! He can deal with just about anything.
