RIGG’S EquipmentBought new Kubota tractor in August (about $ 18,000). It was delivered and dropped off.There was no owners manual and very little instruction. I inquired about lack of bucket level indicator, driver said. “I will get you one, it is around $20“. Turned out to cost over $60.Everyone there was very nice when we purchased and paid in full for the tractor, However, when I returned and asked about some non functional things, seems like things took a turn for worse.1 turn signals don’t work2 bucket lock won’t go into position3 upon releasing forward pedal tractor does not stop. Safety issue.4 was told to wiggle and jiggle bucket lock . That did not work.5 was told to check wiring under fender for turn signal when it obviously was delivered with it being non operational.6 roll bar was installed improperly. I had to reinstall.Essentially out the door and you are on your own.Very disappointed and obviously no warranty at all.Maybe Better business bureau can help.Philip CamdenResponse from owner was amusing. When I visited dealership at NO TIME was I offered ANY SOLUTION from them.We have been delayed from responding because we are in Florida where we worked for the Walt Disney Co primarily training cast members in park operations and customer service. Disney has an incredible program at Disney university for training personnel in customer service and customer relationsAnother comment we observed from another client was “I entered the store and was greeted with - “You have been here before but didn’t buy anything,”. That was the same greeting I received. None of the people we train @ WDW would ever think about making that type of comment to our guest, even when said with a smile.We are returning to South Bend in a few weeks and will be in contact with the dealership to TRY AGAIN to schedule the items to be fixed. Riggs goes above and beyond! I was in need of a spindle, belt,and blades. Two of these items I couldnt find anywhere else. Called Riggs in the morning and they had everything I needed. Said they could set the items aside for me so I could pick them up. I then told them I wouldnt be able to make it before they close, I live 40 minutes away and was currently repairing the roof on my house. Jerry went out of his way after his shift to deliver the parts to my house and took the time to talk with me about them. I have always received good service from Riggs, but this was beyond expectations and really saved my weekend!! Thank you very much.

I am not the easiest to deal with, I am picky and demanding at times. Riggs team did an awesome job of making me feel that I was neither picky nor demanding, yet I was. Riggs is now my go to for snow plows and accessories, service and soon to be lawn mowers. As a new business partner I have a lot of faith in Rigg’s customer service, work and products. If you want quality, customer service and top notch support, you won’t go wrong with Riggs.

Give it a try every year or two. Sales man still a smart mouth. This time why apparently asking to many question. I was told that’s what you get for that price and it even has a battery too. One time said I was just looking and was told that’s all I do. Also I hate wearing mask but still do to be polite to others. Don’t remember seeing sales staff wearing mask.Oh well never again. Bought my lawnmower, tractor, excavator and parts somewhere different.

Service is terrible. They had our Dixie Chopper for almost 2 months and charged $1695.00 for service for fluid leak and carburetor. After “repair” and delivery it was used for 1 hour and leaked hydraulic fluid everywhere. Extremely unhappy with them.

I had a problem with the electronics of my tractor. They fixed it the first time but after a month it wasn’t starting. They picked it up and fixed it with new parts and battery. I was expecting a big bill but was amazed when the charge was zero! Each time my tractor was powered washed. I was very pleased with their service and would highly recommend Riggs!

I have a busy schedule and could only make it in on Saturdays. The sales guy at the Mishawaka branch was with another customer, but after waiting for 45 minutes he never once acknowledged I was there. The other customer even said, “hey, you can go talk to that guy.” The salesman responded, “no, he can wait.” I can also spend my money somewhere else. The next weekend I went to More Farm Store in Warsaw and bought a BX2380. I’m sure they have good people. Maybe it was a bad day, I don’t know. Even though it’s much closer I will never go to Rigg’s again.

Do not get an estimate here!! $1100 for new deck wheels on Cub CadetI basically took them a working, cutting tractor that needed new wheels on the deck and for $41( because I would not pay $1100 for deck wheels) I received a box of parts, and my tractor in 25 pieces to re assemble myself. For another $41 they would put it back together.. $1100 to repair deck??? $384 in labor, fine but $24 for lock nuts??? $4 a piece for washers.It is worth the drive to Michigan to have someone else fix your stuff and treat you like a customer.I do not even want to give them one star.Mishawaka would be a great place for a Cub Cadet repair Service.

Dropped off snow thrower that had fuel left over from past year. Thrower wouldnt start. Suspected it needed a new carburetor. They kept thrower for one month, only to tell me thrower needed a new carburetor. Said new part would arrive soon, that someone would call me before the weekend. No one called. I decided to cut my losses and take thrower somewhere else. Had to pay a $32 cleaning fee to have my thrower released.Save yourself the trouble and go pretty much anywhere else. These guys are so busy that they have no incentive to treat you well. You will not be missed, and they are not afraid to show it.

They Kept my mower for almost a month without updating me. I called and left a message on the weekend, I said to leave it alone I was coming to get it. They did a quick inspection and even though it was running when I brought it there it would not run and the screw on hydrostat was broken. He said it broke when they were inspecting it and then reminded me that was what I wanted them to look at. They Charged me for an inspection which I didn’t really order and brought my mower in pieces to my trailer. I had them put the mower back on and the side panels. I told him I would have had some things fixed if i had heard from them. Too busy apparently and not a place to take older mowers/garden tractors for repair . They definitely gave me the feeling like they did not want to help me even though when I called and inquired prior to bringing my mower/tractor in they were all Gun-ho on the phone. Misled me immensely. We had planned on buying a new one.

Diagnosed my snowblower quickly and am grateful for that, as I dont have much diagnosing experience. They did however want almost 200 bucks to put a new carburetor on. Its only a $15 part guys, and Id say it will take me about half hour to put it on. Little too pricey for me, but I do appreciate the diagnosis.

Sean has been a huge help with me when I’m ordering kubota parts and even on the parts I’m unsure of he looks everything up and gets me all the parts on a timely manner! The other gentleman Chris is a huge help also when Sean isn’t Available Chris will take my order and makes sure it’s gets process and they are super friendly when I talk to them on a daily basis!

When i went to pick up my lawn mower today, day 17, i asked the counter person how they prioritize their work. He looked at me puzzled, so I asked more specifically, if I buy a lawn mower here and bring it in for service, would i have to wait 17 days for it to be repaired? He said, No. He went on to explain that customers who purchase from Rigged Mowers get service first, followed by contractors who have accounts but not the fly by night landscapers who cant get their equipment fixed anywhere else, they move to the back of the line. I then asked him, do guys like me that bring in lawn mowers for repair that are not purchased at his store move to the back of the line? His cavalier response, YeahI would have appreciated this explanation prior to turning over my lawnmower and being constantly marginalized when inquiring about its status. The other one star reviews have accurately explained their frustration which I also experienced. I wanted to illustrate to potential customers their back of the line policy that causes so much resentment.

Poor communication and no updates on the status of mower. Our rider was there for 3+ weeks. Was expecting mower to be delivered today however, no one there scheduled it to be delivered. We will get it tomorrow. After reading some of these reviews, I learned that if you didnt buy your mower there, you get bumped to the back of the service line! I thought everyones money was green. I understand the season is busy but this policy dies not lend itself to a positive customer experience.

This is my first internet review for bad service. STAY AWAY FROM RIGGS...This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was told that if you do not buy your Cub Cadet from Riggs that you are not a priority for warranty work. I was also told that my repair would not be covered under warranty... My tractor was 3 months old when it broke. When I called Cub Cadet to complain they had no record AT ALL of a warranty issue with my tractor. Riggs had never even contacted Cub Cadet to discuss my repair and were never told by Cub Cadet that it would not be covered. Also, Cub Cadet Corporate told me that they have had multiple complaints about Riggs in the past and apologized for the issues.Cub Cadet placed me on hold and tried calling Riggs 3 separate times. The first time they were put on hold for over 15 minutes and then got transferred to voicemail. The 2nd time they were hung up on. The 3rd time went to the after hours voicemail (10 minutes prior to actual close time). The rep from Cub Cadet was irate.Update: My tractor was supposed to be repaired and delivered to my house yesterday.... Neither of those things happened. When I called back today I was told (1) that the part did not get released on time, (2) The part was received, and finally (3) The part was en route.... I was baffled at how all 3 of these things could be the case. I was then told it would be fixed and delivered today... So, well see what happens... What a joke.Update: Thursday at 4:30... Still no tractor delivered
