I have been getting my nails done here for years. They always to an excellent job and are always professional and friendly. Mary has done my pedicure the last few times. She really takes her time with the massage and to make sure your nails are clean and well shaped. The results have been high quality and long lasting. The last time I was there, she and another tech were extremely patient and professional when dealing with some rude clients who told the techs that they wanted one thing and then complained when they got what they asked for because it was supposedly not what they wanted. I was very impressed with their composure. This is my favorite nail salon. I always return here, even during periods of my life when Im living out of l state.

Everyone is amazing and professional. Li does wonderful main and pedi. Mary will rock your nails. My favorite favorite place.

This is the second time Ive gone to A&M + gotten a full acrylic set from Mary. Quick, clean, and amazing freehanded art based off a picture I showed her. Definitely my new nail salon!

I love this place! I have been going for about 5 years now.. Hanna and Vinny are so sweet ! They always remember everyone’s name when you’re there. I personally have my nails done by T. She is the sweetest and she always does an amazing job. She listening to what I want, she good and she’s quick! I’m a somewhat impatient person and I hate to sit still so I love going to her...lol I will forever come here, I have NEVER had a bad experience :)

Everyone here is super friendly!! Kelly did my nails and I must say, she gave me the utmost attention to detail and by far this has been the best gel manicure I have had in Pittsburgh. She also did my pedicure, and it too, is perfect. Very careful not to hurt while filing or plucking away cuticles. Very friendly young lady. The owner shared with us this amazing warm dough with rosemary, too. I will definitely go back to A & M Nails. Superior quality nail work!!

I don’t remember the last time I was this disappointed. You’d never know looking at it that I had this done today. My toes look like the pedicure was a week ago. They barely trimmed my cuticles. They trimmed my nails so short that they had no choice but to get polish on my nail itself, which they didn’t bother to clean off. Spent a lot more time exfoliating one foot than the other so my right foot is smooth, my left is not. Pretty much all the basic components of a decent pedicure were half-assed. The technicians were extremely friendly and personable, really nice to talk to. That’s the only reason I’d bother giving them two stars. It was a complete waste of my money that I can usually get a pedicure once a month and now I’ll need to get one again in a week. Total disappointment.

Hannah is my favorite nail technician. She and her husband, Vinny, own the salon so they treat every customer with great care. Hannah spends a long time on my nails and really gives me the VIP treatment to make sure they come out perfect every time. My pink and white UV solar gels last (and shine!) for weeks because of the effort she puts in to get it right. The salon is well maintained and always clean, very hygienic. Lots of regulars pop in but walk-ins are welcome too. Friendly atmosphere, everyone remembers your name and story. It’ll make you want to come back. My favorite nail salon in Pittsburgh.

I don’t get my nails done frequently, but when I do I go to A&M since they are so reasonably priced and welcoming. I believe it was around $60 (before tip) for a gel mani and regular pedi — most places around the South Hill start at ~$45 for a gel mani and $40-50 for a pedi, so it’s a great price for really good work.

After one hour this is how my $35 dollar pedicure looks. None of the lines are straight. They didn’t let my nails dry long enough. And now I’ve wasted $35. And I have to redo it myself. My calluses are not done. So disappointed. Will not go back. This is nothing like what the picture I showed her looked like. Wouldn’t help me pick colors. And there was supposed to be an anchor on the toe. But after seeing she couldn’t even make a straight line I forwent the anchor.

My daughter and I love this place. I have tried many salons and none of the others come close to this salon. They do a great job and arent overly priced. Staff is pleasant and salon is always clean. I have done regular and gel polish there with great results. My favorite by far is the powder nail dip. If you want a nice, friendly salon then this is your place!

Got a gel manicure done here and it lasted ALMOST a week. The man said ooo sexy when I said I wanted to keep my nails long, which is sort of weird to say to a 17-year-old girl who could honestly pass for 15. He did a terrible job on my cuticles, and he didnt put any polish on the sides of my nail, so the nail became very weak and brittle, basically destroying the entire point of me getting them done. The place I get them done at now is so much nicer and the gel lasts about 3x as long.

Its like being with family and friends every time I go there. Its like being at a party!!!!! Such nice people AND Im always satisfied with my nails when I leave. They do a great job and are reasonably priced and very accommodating. Hanna and Vinny), the owners run a great business. 💖

I dont usually review places but I felt compelled to do so for this salon. I went with my sister today and it was amazing! The staff is very friendly, the work space is very clean, its reasonably priced, and the best part is that it was the nicest looking pedicure Ive ever gotten! Highly recommend. I had a very bad experience at this nail salon. The man doing my toe nails was in a bad mood the entire time and was angry any time I tried to bring up a conversation. They didn’t cut my nails, but merely filed them down and started painting. I was not please whatsoever. To add to this, the cashier was very rude and when I asked for change he got angry and said to get it myself. Will definitely not be coming back.

1st experience was nice. Very fast and met my expectations. Staff was very nice and personable. I also like the relationship they seem to have with their regular customers. I will be back again.

Started off on a good note, but went south fast. Got tips and he got them to a good length. I showed him what I did for work and he took it upon himself to start shortening them, they were shorter than when I walked in. So he built them up and now they look so thick and unnatural. I will not be returning again. Very disappointed!

Heads up, theyre only open until 5 on Sundays but of course the amazing staff here accommodated us when we came in at 5 til today! This place is racist my appointment was at 2 o’clock no one spoke to me or anything until 2:40 when I I said I have a 2 o’clock appointment how much longer do you think it will be until we can get started Two of the ladies got smart Cindy was the only one that was nice I was charge extra because my nails were a little bit long just to have them shaped in a coffin also I was charge extra to get the dead skin off my feet I thought that was the whole purpose of The visit so for my nails and my feet together it was $85 nothing special gel only on my hands not my feet and she couldn’t even show me in the pricing book where it said they charge an additional $10 for longer nails that was just something she made up The lady who walked in right behind me got immediate service The lady with the eyelashes had an attitude the whole time she asked me where I got mine done didn’t even bother to tell me mine were nice and she made a comment about wherever I went to get my nails and feet done before basically is a cheap area Bellevue is not a cheap area they’re just able to service people and not kill their pockets you guys just think you can charge this much because in the area you’re in then she asked what brought me over here so I asked her what made you ask that questionRude my money spends everywhere

I came in on a busy Saturday afternoon without an appointment with my little baby--They should have turned me away, but not only did they get me in right then and there TWO technicians assisted me, one for my mani and the other for my pedi. My little one started fussing and they soothed him for me. I was SO IMPRESSED with their kind compassionate service AND my nails look amazing!! I will never go anywhere else. Superior service, fair prices and great results. 10 stars in my book!

My wife had very nice acrylic nails done here a couple weeks before Halloween. Went back a week after Halloween for an update to the polish and to blend where the nails were growing out. The man who did her nails the first time was no longer working there (red flag! seems to happen a lot here). She had another male work on her nails and he had no idea what he was doing! The acrylic was built up so thick at the base of the nail and underneath the nail tips!! He was also rude and acted pissed off the entire time. She paid $40 with a $10 tip (being in the service industry my wife tips for services almost always)!After inspecting her nails at home my wife called to ask about having them fixed and was told by the manager to come down to the shop. However, when she got there she was treated horribly, basically made fun of and told thats how acrylic nails look/are done (my wife has 18 years of experience doing hair AND NAILS) and that is not how they are to look AND thats not how her first nail job was done there. Nasty and incompetent people work here! Beware, your first time may be OK, but who knows who you will get next. This salon does not stand by their employees work. So good luck if you get a crappy nail job here, which im sure will happen soon if you go here regularly.

Unprofessional, and they completely messed up my nails. They rushed me through, and then blamed me, when I pointed out that my nails were all completely different lengths. The guy said it was my fault that my nails were just different. The paint job was sloppy and they did not paint the whole nail. I am not going back.

My nails look amazing, the pedicure felt amazing, all the people who work there are very nice, lots of clients in there when I went, all the clients talked to each other, very friendly and pleasant environment and quality services.

I walked out feeling very embarrassed cause I asked what there prices where. The fellow was loud and said if I went anywhere else I would pay $100 for a mani & pedi gel. I have never paid that much, I know people do but thats not in my budget. So I told him he embarrassed me and so I left. I dont think I will ever go back.
