Alicia was amazing and transformed me into a beautifully coiffed bride as well as several of my maids. Shea, with her makeup skills, took 20 years off mine and my maids ages and erased all our fine lines. They both kept us laughing and smiling. They are both magical. Working with Daryl was easy. He was so attentive and professional. And, they are all just plain fun! I highly recommend them for your wedding or other beauty needs.

Rachel was AMAZING. I was referred by Aubrey ( a stylist at the salon) for an eyebrow wax, Rachel immediately started conversation to ease the “awkward first time here” tension. The atmosphere was so relaxing and she did an incredible job.

I had a deep tissue massage for the first time. I was having neck and back pain, plus pain from falling on my tailbone 9 weeks prior. This salon and spa is very beautiful. The salon section is downstairs and the massage area is upstairs. I had a massage with Karlee. She was very professional and explained an overview of the massage she would do which included aroma therapy at the beginning. She also asked what level of pressure she should use prior to my disrobing. During my massage, I had a hard time fully relaxing because I always get nervous when Im in a vulnerable position with someone for the first time. She gently reminded me to relax whenever my muscles were tensed and also told me it was normal have a hard time relaxing during a massage which put me at ease. She did a great job, was very sweet and Ive already scheduled a second massage with her because I was so happy with how she treated me and the quality of my massage.

I spoke with two individuals when scheduling an appointment for myself and my son. Neither of them informed me of any mandatory requirements such as taking and documenting my temperature and a mandatory mask requirement even if an individual has medical conditions. Taking my temperature is not an issue. Documenting it where all can see is a HIPAA violation! I explained to Ashley that I have several medical conditions that prohibit me from wearing a mask. She responded she could not cut my hair if I didnt wear a mask. I then asked if I could wear my mask like hers since it was only covering her mouth and NOT her nose as I would be able to breath. She quickly pulled the mask up over her nose and restated she could not cut my hair if I didnt wear a mask.I again informed her I have several medical conditions and cannot breathe while wearing a mask for the length of time it would take for a haircut. Her response was she knows people that can breathe and she would not cut my hair. That is a very general blanket statement since she has no idea what my medical conditions are compared to the people she knows. Just because I dont look sick doesnt mean Im not sick. Remember, you shouldnt judge a book by its cover. My suggestion is staff inform customers of their requirements when scheduling an appointment. It would have saved me an hour of time and the disappointment of not receiving a haircut by a highly recommended salon and stylist. Please note there have been only 3 times prior to today which businesses have refused to provide services to me eventhough I have medical conditions. One star or less....My son has an appointment today. I will enter a separate review for it. I guess I cant enter a separate review. Caden enjoyed his salon experience and liked his stylist, Sam, very much. Ive modified to 3 stars.

I’ve tried many other salons throughout the south hills and downtown areas and can honestly say Stonewater is the best!! The atmosphere is so calming as soon as you walk in! A women’s haircut is paired with a relaxing scalp/shoulder massage before shampooing and then hand massages during shampooing, topped off with styling after the cut- all for an incredibly low price compared to other local salons! Sam even taught me how to do “Pinterest curls” so I could continue styling my hair like she did for me, so sweet!

My daughter & I had fantastic pedicures. Both Sam and Jamie provided us the outstanding services. I would HIGHLY recommend making an appointment.

If you are looking for the best massage of your entire life, book at Stonewater with Nico! He is amazing and I am not naive to massage therapy. After hundreds of massages, he is hands down the absolute best. I know sometimes women don’t feel comfortable going to a male massage therapist, but do yourself a favor and just trust me on this one.

I first visited Stonewater for a massage as a gift from a friend. My massage with Jodi was one of the best experiences Id had in forever. Since then, I visit as often as I can for a massage with Jodi. Its always pleasant and peaceful. The salon itself is calming and relaxing. The employees are all courteous and accommodating. First, I want to express how nice the salon is. Its very clean and well run. I liked the little touches they add in like giving a hand massage while you get shampooed. I was impressed by that. My original review was 2 stars only because I did not receive the hairstyle I wanted or even close to it, but since then, the management has gone out of their way to make things right so I have updated my review because of that. Sometimes things just happen from miscommunication or whatever. What sets the outstanding businesses apart from the good and average ones are their customer service and willingness to go beyond what would be reasonably expected. Stonewater Salon & Spa is very customer focus and that is felt by all who use their services for sure. My hair may not have been something I liked during this visit but Im pretty sure next time it will be and the service Ive gotten since then is worth the even more than 5 stars.

My first experience with Stonewater was a much needed brow wax. I had been working 70-80 weeks and didnt have time to keep them well maintained. I couldnt find a single salon that would fit me in with almost no notice. When I called Stonewater, Daryl worked hard to get me in that morning.Before I arrived I was concerned I would be rushed through and they wouldnt take the time to find out what I wanted. I was wrong. Alicia found out exactly what I wanted and took the time to do it right.I scheduled another appointment with Alicia to do my hair just two weeks later. When I returned I again felt relaxed, and was able to get exactly what I wanted out of it. Alicia made my hair look AMAZING. I have never loved my hair. It has been unmanageable, heavy, frizzy, and sad for quite some time. Alicia give me a new style, and found a way to make it look sleek, light, and beautiful (even when I am at home).I will be returning. Their prices are in line with other salons and spas in the area and their service is incredible.

I went there for the first time to have my hair cut to donate to Locks of Love, July 17th. The staff was amazing and was told many times how awesome it was that I was donating. I am excited for my follow-up appointment at the end of August, and trying out a few of their other services that they offer. They have amazing customer service and feel that they have the most up to date systems of notifying you of your appointments. Not to mention that the space is beautiful and very calming.

Over the years I started trying new services and became addicted to all of their aveda hair, skin care and make up.I see Rachel Brooke monthly if not weekly when I can for ultra stress relief work, facials, body polishes, dual exfoliation dermaplaning facials, waxing and all my lash and eye brow needs. Words cannot describe how incredible Rachel is as both a professional and a person while you are in her care. Ive always had some skin issues and for the first time in my life I can say I have the nicest skin Ive had in 30+ years. She has me on a great routine and always takes her time and makes sure I get the services I need when I need them. If it was not for her I would be clueless on how to properly care for my skin and still using make up in damaging ways. She makes sure Im always scheduled when I need to be (even if my service isnt with her she always checks in on me) and puts tons of effort into fitting me in her busy schedule to ensure I stick to my routine. From the first time I sat in Sams chair she listened and really developed a plan for me to achieve the best results. Since I have had several wedding updos that turned out stunning and most recently had Halo extentions cut in and matched to my hair. Both Sam and Alicia (the owner) fit me in no questions asked and treated me like I was Kate Middleton both working to making sure the halo was perfect and could not be seen. Its really boosted my confidence surrounding my thinning hair and they both showed me tips and techniques of the trade to style it. Sam is so passionate about her work and clients I am always exited when I get to see her and recommend booking with her soon because her schedule fills up so fast.Overall Stonewater is the only salon and spa I will go to for any service I need. They are constantly expanding and offering new products and treatments, while continuing to provide the best service from all levels of the staff in every area of service they provide. The service is OK. Scheduling was a hassle and staff were unable to book me an appointment on any day at any time in a 2 week window. I was able to book an appointment at Philip Pelusi and loved the service and cut. I emailed Stonewater and its been 6 days and Ive still not received a response from my last email. So, I will not be returning to Stonewater. Its a shame because my husband gave me a gift certificate as a surprise for finishing my 3rd college semester and I still have $15 on the certificate. I will try to give it away.
