Jessica is the best. Best way to ensure you get her is to make an appointment. Shes a sweetheart! And knows what shes doing. I think she might be the heart and soul as the owner of this business.

Recently had a terrible experience at another salon on McKnight so I tried BJs. I was early to my appointment and they were able to start me early. Very clean, great pedicure, overall great service. Will absolutely go back.

I highly recommend BJ’s! Henry and Jessica are some of the nicest people around and they keep the place so clean. They really go above and beyond to make sure the client is comfortable. On top of that, they do an outstanding job when it comes to manicures and pedicures! I’m on my feet all day for work and they somehow make my toes look pristine. I also get compliments on my nails constantly. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Henry & Jessica are the absolute best ... their shop is spotless, they go above & beyond like no other salon in Pittsburgh ..Even my daughter drives all the way from Cranberry passing dozens of salons to go to BJ’s nails ... they are like family . Their color selection is more than any salon I’ve ever seen .

They are so friendly and nice here! I love how my gel polish manicure turned out and they were able to do a design I wanted perfectly. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I love the place, I love my nails the person doing my nails and feet was alittle aggressive and wasn’t sure if he was annoyed or something I don’t know wasn’t feeling the vibe not really any interaction or seemed happy but I’m still up in the air if I’ll come back!

This place is awesome they are super friendly and professional. Jessica did an excellent job with my pedicure she took her time and made me feel so comfortable. Honestly my feet were so dry and crusty until, Jessica blessed me with a deluxe pedicure including a bonus hot foot wax that is the bomb. Please do your self a favor and come through and treat yourself like the Queens and Kings were all are!!!

2nd experience much better than my first experience there.

So lets start off by saying, I gave them 2 chances because of how well rated they are.. both times I had acrylics done. The first time they were decent but extremely painful and sore for days after..I thought maybe I just had a bad experience because I get acrylics all the time and never had that much pain...So I came back a year later and.. WOW absolutely horrible.. my nails werent completely painted, I had polish pooling at the bottom of one of my nails which never dried even after being told I was done.. which then eventually it rubbed off even after more than 30 minutes later.. the shapes of the nails are deformed and dont match at all.. the guy who did my nails didnt listen to what I asked for, didnt follow the picture I showed him, and was rude and snappy.. I absolutely hate these nails and need to get them off asap.. seriously the worst experience ever. I cant believe this place has such good reviews, if they are even real.Never coming back.

I have been going to BJ’s for about a year now and love it every time! Everyone is so nice and it’s so clean! I get dip nails and I smashed my fingers and split one right down the middle. It hurt so bad. Jessica was so gentle and guided me what would be best to fix it. When I left the salon, it didn’t hurt anymore. They are the best!

I plan to go again soon. My gel full set was beautiful and got so many compliments I was sad to change them. My pedicure was wonderful as well. I’m planning on going back very soon.

First time coming to this place, & got my nails done (full set/Gel) Im extremely particular and ocd when it comes to my nails and not afraid to ask my nail tech to fix something I dont like, which I didnt even have to!!! Everyone was friendly and professional, I Came in as a walk in and was completely satisfied! Ill be a repetitive customer.

I just stopped in for the first time to get a fill before vacation and I was nervous because I was the only one there but overall I am pleased with the quality, price, and cleanliness of the salon. I liked that they trimmed my nails super short as I requested...sometimes this does not happen!

LOVE this salon! A hidden gem on McKnight. I have been seeing Henry for months now and he never disappoints with my acrylic nails! Always very accommodating with appointment times and willing to do whatever crazy things i want done with my nails. They have a crazy selection of gel and dip polish! Definitely recommend :)

I got a pedi today and was so happy with my experience. Upon entering, you’re asked to wash your hands- I was so pleased with this extra safety measure in the middle of this pandemic. There was plexiglas at all pedicure and manicure stations, as well as proper spacing throughout. This was my first pedi since the pandemic hit and I couldn’t be more satisfied. The gentlemen who did my pedicure was thorough, took his time, and did an excellent job. I can’t wait to go back for future services and won’t return to my “normal”’ salon again!

This salon is the best around. I have been going there pretty consistently over the past few months. They take their time and really do top notch work. I was in a rush to get my nails done before a wedding and tried to go to a different place closer to my home. They did such a bad job that I ended up taking the nails off and going back to BJ Nails the next day. I will never go anywhere else again.

Zero wasnt an option. Awful experience. My friend and I walked in together, picked our colors and waited in the front area for 10 minutes. Moved to a chair where we sat for a few more minutes. My friend was taken care of; I sat for another 20 minutes. I decided to get up because my friend was almost done and magically someone was there to do my toes. Insisting my friend wasnt almost done she wanted to do my toes. I declined and sat up front with no apology or sympathy. I will never return.

Ive been coming here since the beginning of of the year, after a coworker recommended it to me. The place is under new management (2018), so some of the older posts probably arent relevant. Ive been very happy with my visits. The technicians do a great job, and are very conscientious. They even mark your favorite colors on their frequent-users card. I use the dip powder.

Stopped to get the girlfriend a pedi........I ended up getting my 1st one ever! I have been missing out all this time for sure. I will definitely be back for another. Great staff, great shop....clean, well lit, and organized! Didnt even have to wait, walk right in a was well taken care of. Prices look good too!

I absolutely love coming here to get my nails done. Chris and Ken are very personable, the space if comfortable and most importantly - CLEAN! Im moving to Cranberry, but I will still probably make the drive every 2-3 weeks to continue getting my nails done here.

I asked for a dip powder manicure which I have had before at other nail salons. What I received here was dip powder on my nails, and no manicure. Despite asking the lady 4 times to cut my cuticles and dead skin, she refused, saying that with dip powder manicures the dead skin “gets filed off”. This was untrue since I still had all of my cuticle skin on every finger still intact when I left. I went home and cut off all my own cuticles. Also, the powder dip on a few fingernails were left jagged and not smoothed off at the end of the nail, so will probably snag on something. I will never come back here!

Nails didnt last more than a week and held conversation with otjers in a differwnt language not a welcoming experience

Dont waste your time. Youll just be heading to another salon to fix their mistakes like I had to.I called ahead to see if they had time to do a full set and pedicure. He said yeah come in whenever you want. When I got there a hour and a half later, the man asked what took me so long to get here.The pedicure went fine. I noticed they had a kerosene heater (those huge ones most people use in their garage or outside) on inside the building. Guess they couldnt afford to turn up the heat.Now the main reason for my rating. Before we even started I showed the man the nail design I was looking for. I wanted lime green nails with dark green shamrocks, nothing crazy. I asked if he could do this and explained if he couldnt it was fine just paint them plain. He said he would try.Each of my nails were UNEVEN and he would glare when I kept pointing it out. The polish had streaks where he didnt apply it properly and the shamrocks were just uneven triangles with a line in the middle. He kept stopping and turning around to watch the television (really!?) Once my nails were done he decided to have a snack and didnt even wash his hands to start the next customer. EW.I was highly disappointed and thats the last $55 theyll receive from me. Now I see the benefit in going to a salon with America nail techs and paying the extra money.

Terrible experience and will NOT go back. The women that did my pedicure cut my toe cuticle and didnt acknowledge the mistake. The nail polish selection was very minimal and you couldnt buy and matching polish. Had many pedicures in the past and this one was money not well spent.
