Amazing experience, I’ve been looking for MY barber in Pittsburgh for over 3 months & am so happy I decided to stop by the Humble Barber Co. Very pleasant environment & he makes SURE you are perfectly content with your haircut. Prices are very reasonable (personally for the amazing service he provides, he could charge double!) & he is very personable. I will definitely be back & recommend anyone to come here, thank you!

This is definitively the best barber I have ever experienced in all my life! Every single aspect from the moment I walked through the door was incredible. I would wait several hours to have this guy cut my hair. I would travel from out of state to have my hair cut here. He makes his own shaving cream for Petes sake! Friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable. When I look back on all the lucky moments in my life, walking into this barbershop for a haircut will be listed. I cant write a review worthy of how incredible The Humble Barber is!! Seriously this might sound like some sort of pump piece but I am so blown away I sat down and felt it was my duty to mankind to do my part to make this place known. My children will tell their children stories of how amazing this place was. If they gave out Michelin stars for barbers this guy would get the inaugural 5 stars!

Waited 2.5 hours and had an 80 minute haircut. Would dedicated my entire day to getting a haircut here. Brad is extremely knowledgeable and personable! He went step by step in teaching me how to properly style my new haircut and I was smiling the whole 80 minutes. You wont be dissapointed coming here!

I visited this place yesterday. I was immediately impressed that it was walk-in only, by the friendly atmosphere, the thoroughness of service, and afterwards my wife commented that my beard looked the best its ever been.I dont review things often, but after I left a 30% tip for the $20 beard trim, I couldnt help but think that it wasnt enough. Next time I will definitely be tipping more, but until then, a five star review is the least I can do.

This was the best experience Ive had in any barber shop. Brads skill and attention to detail are incredible, and his knowledge of the products that he uses and sells is unmatched. He brings a great personality and genuinely cares about the experience he is delivering to the person in the chair. I will definitely be back for more cuts and to say wassup to the shop pup!

Absolutely amazing! I am always very hesitant to try a new barber, but these guys are exactly what I was looking for. They know what they are doing and great recommendations to try something new, that I absolutely loved! Took a little more length off my beard then I would have liked, but absolutely nailed a style and look that worked better for me. 100% recommendation of these gentlemen.

Place is great! Great haircut with attention to detail. Brad spends lots of time making sure its uniform and perfect. He also is responsive to the type of hair you have and gives you advice and samples to take home based on your style and hair type. The music and vibe is cool too, but Im coming back because the haircut was spot on. It was the best cut Ive had in a few years actually.

Excellent experience. Brad was exceptionally professional, I was able to show him a picture of what I was going for and got exactly that, along with a beard trim. My great-grandfather had a barbershop for over 50 years in my hometown that I went to growing up- The Humble Barber Co reminded me almost exactly of spending time in the shop, chatting and waiting your turn for the barber. They even use the same aftershave that my grandfather did! If you are looking for a quality haircut and a great experience this is the spot.

My boyfriend and friends had very handsome haircuts and beard trims! The Barber was super knowledgeable and was able to give my boyfriend some tips on his hair and beard. I originally rated the Humble Barber 4-stars because of the other patrons - they were kind of rude and ignored the most beautiful dog when she wanted to play and get belly rubs, and that was upsetting. But I am most than happy to re-rate them, the 5 stars that they earned (vs the 4 stars the other customers presented).

Brad/The Humble Barber is unlike any barber you’ve been to. Brad makes you feel like you’re an old friend every time you’re there. His pup named Kitty usually is around greeting everyone that comes in. He does not take appointments, but has a sign up list as soon as you walk in. I’ve spent 2hours waiting for a haircut from him, and I’ve always left really happy and keep coming back. $20 for a high quality cut (takes him around 20/30mins, depending on your requests) is a bargain. Come here anticipating a long wait, but chances are you’ll leave knowing the wait was worth it.

Brad is awesome and gives one of the best cuts in Pittsburgh. The place is a total time capsule with older art and knickknacks that give it an old timey barber vibe. His dog, named Kitty, hangs out at the shop too which makes it even more enjoyable. Sometimes theres a wait, but its worth it for sure.

Found Brad when I moved to Brighton a couple years ago, so I’ve had a couple dozen cuts in his chair. Never left the shop feeling like I didn’t get exactly what I asked for. Very detail oriented, from the cut to the razor finish. His recent addition Tom is no exception, so it’s top notch no matter whose chair you luck into. Also, don’t forget to acknowledge Kitty (the dog)..she’ll alert you if you’ve been staring at your phone too long, which is proper

Brad does an amazing job every single time I come here. Best place to get a haircut in Pittsburgh hands down. Brad is extremely friendly and will make sure you are more than content with your hair cut. He makes you feel more than welcome, almost as if you were getting a haircut by an old friend. The shop has a very traditional and comfortable vibe, and even has a friendly dog to play with while you wait. Be prepared to wait ~1 hour but just know its worth it. Ive tried almost every recommended barber in Pittsburgh, and nothing comes close to the haircut and overall experience that Brad has to offer.

High marks. Great people, great dog, great haircuts. It can be a little slow, but that’s because they only have two chairs and take their time. Highly recommended.

Brad runs an authentic barber shop where not only do you leave looking good, but feeling good as well. However, excellent cuts at reasonable prices comes at the cost of having to typically wait for an hour or more. But the time is quickly passed by conversing with Brad and the other patrons, reading the numerous magazines available, or just admiring the amazing amount of trinkets around the shop. A cold fridge perpetually stocked with beer doesn’t hurt either.

Classic feel of a shop. Very welcoming and friendly. Was hesitant to try a new barber, but I was not let down. Got a perfect mid bald fade, scissor cut on top for a great price. Would recommend to any one looking for an amazing hair cut. Will most certainly go again.

This is an amazing barbershop and it has such old, rustic feel to it I love it. I came across this barbershop by looking for good barbershops on yelp and Google because great clips had totally messed my hair up but Brad fixed that. Brad is such an amazing and nice barber and he was so kind today because I wasnt feeling very good today, I was feeling lightheaded and he gave me a water and I felt like I had to throw up and he was so nice about it he didnt kick me out or anything. Brad also is a very funny guy just when you go there you feel like you wanna hug him, like that is how nice he is. His dog is such a nice dog, and Im saying this even when I was frightened by him but in the end it was fine because it didnt do anything bad to me except jump on the bench I was sitting on and it scratched me a little but its fine I wasnt bleeding. Overall the barber is great, the shop is great, the only downsides are that it is a long wait for the haircut especially if its busy and it is a bit dusty around the place so that could use cleaning up but its fantastic.

Brad is an amazing barber and just a nice guy in general. He makes every effort to get to know you and make sure you always leave satisfied. The waiting time is a little annoying. If you dont get there like 5 min before he opens you can usually expect up to a 3 hour wait depending on the day and time. But he does have beer to drink and a dog to play with while you wait. In my opinion its totally worth it.

First of all the shop is beautiful and very inviting. Everyone that works there is super nice and easy to talk to. Brad gave me the exact haircut I wanted and it turned out better than I could have imagined, plus he didnt try to upsell me on some extra stuff like most salons. Its one of the best experiences Ive ever had getting my hair done.

A really great haircut and a reasonable price. The only downside is that that is not a secret. Arrive early and be willing to wait. Good news is Brad brought in his comic book collection and the long wait usually affords some rich conversation.

Been here several times. Its a sweet local place to get an authentic trim and shave. Brad and Tom are very kind people who will talk if you want or stay quiet if you please. They hit you with the straight rasor and a beard trim for less than the big horrible chains. If you live locally or are looking for a quality trim for a decent price. I would definitely recommend!

I drive all the way across town (past a dozen other barbers) to spend time in the Humble Barber chair. In addition to providing a quality service, Brad is one of the finer people youll meet in Pittsburgh.$15 for a classic hipstery cut that would cost 2x or 3x somewhere else.

The absolute best. He takes a ton of time to work with you and learn how to give you the best cut. He will reccomend products and give you samples to try out. Incredibly knowledgable and super friendly.I will warn you to put away some time if you go to him though. The time he puts into every customer means that you will be waiting for a while if you get there and it is busy.

Fantastic place, showed a picture of what I wanted and they made it happen. There was a bit of a wait but it’s wildly worth it and I’ll be coming here for all my haircuts.

I have had a cut from Brad and from Tom. Each are very talented. I have recieved many complements on the cuts I recieved. The atmosphere is unique. There is a lot of vintage stuff on the walls and the decor has a timlely feel to it. The customs also waiting were extremely nice and one brought mexican candy to share. I would give one star for the candy lol. The first time I went, Brads dog was there. She was friendly and playful. There was a crazy gumball machine. Lastly, the bathroom interesting and clean.

If youre looking for fancy decor look elsewhere. If you want a quality cut by a hip and friendly barber with equally interesting clients this might be just the plac .
