Thank you VIP styles for fitting my son in for his haircut for school! It was a last minute, same day appointment that he needed and they were able to accommodate him. He was very happy with his cut and his barber. The barber was very polite and asked what typeof style he wanted but also asked for my approval which I appreciated. He valued both of our decisions.

I’ve been here three times. So today the owner cut my hair. And I woke up this morning to style it and WHOA!!!!!!! He was right about cutting my top and sides. My hair is short but feminine the way I like it. Please go here if you want a stellar cut. Be patient and wait for the owner. He’s awesome. Amen!

Son got his haircut there today, and his shape-up was crooked. He has been going there for the past 2 years, and has just informed me that hes been correcting his own shape-ups after going there since January of this year. Dont get me wrong, theyre nice and professional, but if youve been in the game for a number of years, rookie mistakes are unacceptable.

I will tell family and friends to go here. Trust me Im North Carolina the barber shop is the hardest place to fine in a new city.

Alright, hànds down to the best haircut Ive had in PIT. Mr. Alfanzo is a perfectionist. In asked if my hair was trouble and in his wise words : You gotta know what you doing and boy he did. As someone who is rather picky about who he lets trim his beard, I’m constantly impressed. The wait is short, the prices affordable, and the staff is warm and professional. My go-to for fresh fades and a solid lineup.

Awful haircut, literally had to scissor cut excess hair off around my ears when i got a fade. Straight razor is poor and pushed my hairline back. Never going here again.

If you have a child with a disability don’t take them here. Rude all the way tf around my child been getting his hair cut for a year an the person cutting my his hair was just pushing his head around. He yawned an got told to stay still smh. An soon as I mention his disability which I should have to for someone to treat any kids right is messed up. All because I asked my child was he ok because he was crying . Never again for my exactly why I have his aunt or dad take him cause. They obviously are not kids friendly 🤦🏽‍♀️

Its snowing crazy so I get it if the shop is closing earlier than usual. But when I call before I come in and Im told that well be open for for a few more hours and I get there no ones there or answering just an hour later ter, thats foul cuz you couldve just said you was closing. Idk guess yall dont want new customers???

This is one of the better barber shops in the Pittsburgh area. They dont offer complimentary drinks like some of other barber shops but they have reliable and legitimate barbers. The hours are friendly and their appointment system is organized well. I highly recommend Vic, the owner, as hes done an exceptional job every time i get a cut and hes receptive to feedback which is something that goes for granted in the barber industry. The pricing is fair as most cuts will cost ~ $20

I would like to compliment VIC and V I P Styles for the fantastic haircut I received. As a woman that has a very short hair and wants to remain looking feminine at all times, VIC was able to accomplish just that. He was not only very friendly, but assured me I would love my cut and went the extra mile and took care of my eyebrows as well.I made my next appointment before I even walked out the door, to be sure I was set up for my 2 week refresher. Not only that, you know your haircut is great when you walk out and get multiple compliments before reaching your car. That’s why, I will be a repeat customer for as long as he will have me.

When I walked in, the lady at the front desk seemed to have and attitude. One of the barbers was arguing on the phone and was making the environment unpleasant. When I finally got in the chair, he man took forever to cut my hair. He was more interested in what was going on with everything else. I wasnt too happy with the results! My beard was cut way too close to my jawline and my mustache was severely uneven. I also had many cuts on my neck and face. I will definitely not be going back and I suggest you guys go somewhere else, if youre planning on going here.

The 1st time I came in Chauncey gave me a great haircut but sliced my friggin ear. I aint say a word. Second time Chauncey gave me a totally different cut that I asked for, Im far too mature for a bald fade, he went down to the white meat. 3rd time 4 months later after I let my hair grow back and Chauncey is on vacation for 3-6 months, so the owner said he would do better. I actually showed his fat ass a picture of the 1st cut that I got and explained it all to him, while his googley eyed ass stares off into space because hes so arrogant. Needless to say he gave me a douche bag hipster cut that I didnt like and proceeded to argue with me about it all the way out to the sidewalk. Hes fortunate that he didnt become a part of Smithfield Street.

I had a barber that completely destroyed my hair. This guy took my lining back about an inch and somehow gave me a crooked lining. I went back to the shop to get my money back because I refuse to pay for a hair cut this terrible, but the guy accused me of wanting a free hair cut. I told the idiot that the only reason I was there was because my real barber was on vacation and I pay him $25 a week for my hair cut and yours is only $19 and my barber in my opinion is the best in Pittsburgh. His name is Mel and I recommend everyone to go see him at Barbers Inn. I am not saying that all of the barbers are bad at this establishment but this one needs to not ever cut hair again. Surprisingly, this barber happened to be the owner! Also that owner, who should be nowhere near a barbershop, happened to give me about four or five flesh cuts with the clippers. So, I guess the other barbers are the money makers because I know that guy sure isnt making any money!

I only visited once.I took my 3 sons to get back to school haircuts. I don’t know how many barbers work there,but there were 3 at this time let’s just say the haircuts were awful
