Well if I could give a zero rating I would. Ernie does a great job of up selling his client services and makes you believe he and his staff are knowledgeable, receptive, prompt, and attentive - to which they are none. Our 2017 filings could have been done better by some random person using Turbo Tax.Not only did they wait until the last minute to give us any indication of our filing after giving them all docs by February of 2017, they also filed so improperly that we had to hire a legitimate CPA firm to amend our filing after they were done butchering. They never completed a review of our taxable situation as stated in our contract nor did they complete half of what was promised to boot. Then charged an arm and a leg for a poor job done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have had two other peers fire BVCPA because of the same issues. STAY AWAY! There are better more attentive firms out there that will work with a higher moral compass.

I strongly advise you to stay far away from Boulder Valley CPAS. Do not trust any of your accounting to this terrible firm. It astonishes me they are still in business, but I suspect it wont be for long. We had numerous issues in the one tax year working with them which concluded with an enormous mess we are still cleaning up today with another firm. Although they were at fault, they did not hesitate to continue charging us for services they did not complete. Stay away!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ERNIE... Broken promises! NEGATIVE STARS*** Rarely do I take the time for a negative review. I personally know several other clients that have been treated poorly who have not yet written a review. Ernie started out a super sweet SLICK salesman, and when I questioned their services, broken promises, pricing, timing, in less than 1 year, I was met with ANGER, HOSTILITY, and DISRESPECT. Ernie complete denied that their firm could be doing anything wrong. I was SHOCKED!! I was told I was attacking them followed by nasty emails. REALLY??? For asking legit questions. When companies decide to go separate ways with clients it can be done professionally. Not the case with ERNIE. HOSTILE. I lost all respect for their firm. BE WARNED AND READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE review who I do not know.
