Love my nail shop

I am so impressed by this place and will continue to go back over and over again! I recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for a new nail place and I hit the jackpot when I found this one! They do an amazing job, friendly, and the prices are great!!

My bestie had her nails done here and they are gorgeous! Kay did a wonderful job! She asked for something camping themed because shes the AZ Girl Camper guide, social media Influencer & writer for girl camper . com . Were both going next time! KAY!! Youre amazing!

They have friendly staff and did a great job.It has been a few months since my last pedicure, and I was worried about what a mess my nails would be. They fixed them up nicely.This is just my first visit, but im looking forward to going back regularly.

My favorite nail salon they always do my nail design and make sure im satisfied Kay and her husband are a nice owner and Kim has been working there for a lomg time they have a nice customer service as well

I heard about this place through one of my customers at work, so I figured I’d give them a try. The gentleman that did my nails took his time and did an AMAZING job. I am so pleased with the service I received and I will definitely be returning!!

I HAD my own mails & asked for a shorter more narrow nails. P cut all my real nails off & did not give me what I asked for. I called the owner the same day & said she took all my nails & that isn’t what I wanted. He told me to return and they’d fix it. Well I did & instead of fixing it, they wanted to charge me MORE for their mistake!! I asked for a specific person the first time I went in & he disrespected me by not listening then when I went to have them fixed he LIED & said I had all fake nails. I had one. Their GREED was too much so I walked out. They do not deserve honest customers if they’re not going to respectfully serve them.

All the staff were friendly and fun! They worked us in form a small group for pedicures and the service was so great I went back for my nails while I was here for vacation. I highly recommend them! They did a wonderful job.

Small children running around screaming and crying. Over priced, tried to up charge me for gel without telling me when I specifically asked for regular polish, nail technician was rude to other customers and very unfriendly. Only good part was my appointment was on time. My nails came out crooked with uneven tips, polish was splotchy, and ended up with a few cuts on each of my fingers (one of which is now infected).

Kay is amazing! She always takes her time and I am always happy leaving this salon! The pedicures are 10/10! 😍

It was okay. i think the only reason they have many great reviews is because you get 10% off for writing one in store . the staff was nice however the acrylics I got on have pretty obvious flaws, very thick, bumpy uneven job and acrylics don’t match up with nail bed. I almost wanted to get up and ask her to stop halfway through but I gave her the benefit of the doubt and waited it out was considering going somewhere else and re doing them but already paid. Unfortunate because im looking for a permanent nail salon. Overall service was ok at best .

Good mani & pedi, reasonably priced. But I hope they take the time to clean out their polish/gel collection as it was really disorganized. My first two choices of color, were not suitable for use. We had to spend a lot of time finding/matching up a good bright color. I ended up with a neon orange when I was really looking for a bright pink. It’s disappointing as I got my nails done for a special event.I don’t really understand the reply because I was not “in love” with my experience.

Dont answer their phone and had me wait 30 minutes just to get a chair and another 30 minutes sitting at the pedicure chair. I walked out but my girl friend got her manicure done, she also said the man doing her nails left to take a smoke break and wouldn’t stop getting up to answer the phone. We got out and my girlfriend was furious with her mismatched nails

Super! Easy to find, from parking lot walk toward Eye Glass World, salon is on right side. Staff is very pleasant and skilled. Id go back when in the area.

Ive been coming here for years, but stopped because I moved to California. I visited again last week and found out that Kay had purchased the business in February!! Without hesitation I made an appointment and walked in to find 2 very familiar faces from the other crew still there!I had a fantastic experience - Kays husband did an excellent job on preparing my nails for my French manicure & my polish change was perfect too!!They will certainly see me AGAIN! 💜

I came here on Thursday February 25th for an acrylic manicure and it was the worst experience ever. First off I came to get my nails done because I was getting married 2 days later. The guy who did my nails cut 3 of my cuticles on my left hand so bad that they bled. So for my wedding and wedding pictures I had red, scabbed irritated cuticles. It was the most embarrassing thing and let alone painful. I even took pictures and I wish this review would let me post them. I will never go back here and paid what I did.

Short version: Rude and unprofessional staff will not be returning.Long version:I went in to Nails Spa 101 for a new set of nails. I showed the male technician pictures of what I wanted. I asked for marble style nails with hearts (I realized that this might be difficult design to do). He gave the photo a quick glance and started on my nails without further discussion. After a short time the male technician asked if I wanted the actual design depicted on the nails or the shape of the nails. I thought it was kind of odd as hed already started on the nails. Getting the impression that he didnt have much confidence in doing the design, I showed them other pictures which were much simpler (ie ombre, etc). He replied with, Well, let me ask the girls. After this, a female tech took over. I asked this technician for an ombre with two little black bats drawn on the nails to which she replied she couldnt do an ombre. I was confused as every salon Ive been to prior regarded ombre as a very basic design. I asked, You guys cant do an ombre? The female technician, seeming unsure of herself, didnt reply and began talking to the other technicians. The technician got up to grab the colors and begin practicing an ombre on herself. After a while, a second older female technician came and took over, attempting to apply an ombre to my nails. She asked if it was okay so far. I replied asking if the base color could be brought up a bit higher. Without saying anything, she wiped the ombres completely off my nails. At this point, Im feeling very uncomfortable and I can feel that the technicians were becoming increasingly impatient with me. So, I asked if we could paint the nails all black with a simple accent nail. The accent she applied however was poorly done and off-center. She asked me how I liked it and I told her my concerns saying, I like it, its just a bit off center. Without say anything she got up and began working on someone elses nails. I sat waiting for someone else to come and take over my nails, but no one did for about 15 mins. Finally, the original male technician came over, merely tapped me on the shoulder, and pointed to his chair. His demeanor implied that the shop was ready to just be done with me. I had not said anything unflattering to the technicians or been rude in any way. Whereas it was clear that the technicians had been talking about me and the situation. Once I got to the male technicians station, I asked the technician simply to remove the nails completely. He leered at me before very rudely and somewhat aggressively telling me that I was still paying for the full set ($60). I didnt argue, nor any point did I imply that I wasnt going to pay. After paying, I turned to leave and saw a security guard peering in through the door. When I got to the door, the male technician called out to the security guard saying ok. The security guard acknowledged him and walked off this clearly implied that he was at the door for me. Being a young black female, I would be very disappointed if this was racially motivated.Regardless my experience was extremely poor, I felt incredibly unwelcome and will not be returning.

This place is by far the best. I have gone to numerous places and no one could get what I wanted. I messaged them and sent them a picture of what I wanted and they accommodated me to the point of satisfaction. Amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone. Even my pedicure was absolutely perfect.

Reasonably priced nail services in a abovr and beyond clean and comfortable setting. Friendly, talented staff that are great at what they do. No high pressure sales to upgrade you to the better package. Highly recommend this nail salon!

Kay was incredible!! This way my first visit there and she was AWESOME⭐⭐She was polite, communicative, and very adamant about the way my nails were and them being exactly the way I wanted them to be. She was amazing and I will continue going there to see Kay. They have great customer service and offered free face masks due to the covid-19!!! My nails were exactly the way I wanted them and she added little things to make them better💗💗Salon was very clean and sanitized and all staff made me feel very comfortable. Definitely give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them.

AZ (the owner) did a FANTASTIC job on my nails. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and this place by far has exceeded my expectations over any other nail salon. If you want great nails that look absolutely beautiful and not fake looking then this is the place you need to go.

I have been going to Nail Spa101 for a few years. They are amazing. Kay is my new nail girl And she is great she pays attention to detail she takes her time and everyone there is really friendly.

They were very friendly, the woman who did my pedicure, she was so sweet and nice and she paid attention to detail, she really wanted to make sure everything was perfect. Then when it was time for my nails, they didnt have the dip I was looking for and I just decided on plain white tips but the gentleman looked up another kind similar to show me and I loved it so he then did my nails and the girl he was working on was ready to swap with me to do her nail art so it was just perfect and you know what..Ive never loved my nails more! They are so amazing and Im so happy I met all of them. I have my struggles but they made it easy for me, and didnt make me feel different like other places, I felt so comfortable and I really appreciated that the most.

Came here for the first time today, everyone was so friendly and not just talking to each other but talking to the customers. My husband and I both got the Ultimate pedicures which were amazing! One of the most friendly nail salons I have ever been to.

I am so happy with my SNS nails! Lin was great! She made my nails look even better than the design I showed her. I will definitely return! My daughter had her nails done too, but did acrylic. They look beautiful. The salon was busy, so it seems lots of others like them too

Clean facility. Friendly staff. I didn’t feel I got a long enough pedi, barely any massage. The Polish was so thick coming out of bottle I felt it made the polish look weird. Not certain if I’ll go back? Maybe you will have better luck!

Previous honest review was taken down for some reason. Would not come back here based on poor customer service experience after setting up an appointment for a first visit. Was looking forward to coming in too as it’s a convenient location, so it’s unfortunate what occurred and that management didn’t take the original review with care.

I have been going to Nail Spa 101 for years! Full of great people and quality techs. Love them!

Kinda scary, but fairly inexpensive. Has no posted hours and faces a Dollar Tree. Seems to be popular among anglo Scottsdale sucias who dont wanna be seen slumming.Lots of seating/service stations, but I pass it almost daily and cant figure out how they staff it. Appears clean. Nothing extravagant emerges, so dont look for any creative nail work.

Besides me being there 3 hours after a simple manicure & pedicure, my nails shape are all different and looks like a kindergartener did them. The owner was also on facetime with her daughter with the salon full of customers. To top it off, she was yelling on top of her lungs. This is not how i expected to spend my day off. I am very unhappy with servie and the results. I definetly will not be returning!!!!
