I absolutely LOVE this place. Definitely worth the drive, I’m located in south Phoenix and had desperately been looking for a good nail place. To understand what I want and how I want it, and that’s exactly what I got at Five Star Nails & Spa. I just did a walk in and was seated immediately. Love that there is clear communication there and you’re not waiting on a worker to be finished. Brian did my acrylic nails JUST THE WAY I WANTED THEM! He was precise with how he was cutting the nail to my liking and did a very nice job. Overall, if you’re reading through the comments to find out if they are worth it, they are!! I’m very pleased with the results of my nails. I will be going again....

I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience! Kim is awesome! My gel nails always last at least 4 weeks and Kim comes up with some amazing ideas and designs!

Tommy is the absolute best! I’ve been to a lot of nail technicians to get my SNS nails done since I started having my nails done in Arizona and Tommy was the only one who did exactly as I asked! He is such an incredible professional. Highly recommend.

My mom, sister, & I all went to get our nails done & each of us LOVED every part it. The staff was so kind and caring. Our entire experience was amazing and we all loved how our nails came out. This is my favorite nail salon. It does not matter who you end up with as your technician because they are all excellent! The owner has very high standards in who he hires because he wants to make sure his clients come back.I also feel very safe here because everything seems quite clean. They use the plastic inserts in the pedicure tubs so it is easier to keep clean and sanitary. I used to live quite close to this salon and thats how I found it originally. Now I live 40 minutes away but still make the drive to come here. Highly recommend this place!

I really like this place. The location is perfect for where I live, which means I dont have to go to Scottsdale. The staff are friendly and flexible. My sister and I visited for the first time today. We were walk ins after 5 pm. We were greeted immediately and after being asked what we would like done we were seated within a minute. My nail tech was awesome. She was very friendly, and took care of an issue that was neglected at a previous salon. 5 star nails is one of the best places I’ve ever gotten my nails done. Jenny does a fantastic job and pays close attention to details. My dip nails have never lasted more than 2 weeks and Jenny made it so my nails lasted almost 4 weeks!! This is my new go to spot!!

Took my husband and his friend for pedicures. They had such a good time! We had Jenny and Nina and one other lovely lady and they were so fun and charismatic! Definitely will come back :)

Love their dip manicure and overall services in general! My dip manicure stays without cracking or chipping for almost a month and is very strong. The overall service is very enjoyable and the technicians are all extremely professional and knowledgeable about the services they offer.

I came here in search of a great nail salon that I could become a regular at. I was sick of going to a nail salon one time and not finding a salon that actually tried to have anyone keep coming back. This older man in the back did such an amazing job on my nails. I will recommend him and this shop to everyone I know. He was worth every penny. He took his time and not once did he say he could not do it. He took his time to figure out how to accomplish the picture i showed him. Honestly, I’ve been to a couple of spas trying to find a good one. Every other place I went to never got anything I wanted right. this one is the best!!!👍 they did exactly what I wanted. I was attended by KELLY, and she did such a professional job, nice and clean, & she took her time (even though they were super busy today) very friendly too👍 Definitely coming back here permanently for my pedicures!!☺️

This is my new regular spot! I am always very happy when I leave. Everyone there is great at what they do! Im a licensed cosmetologist so I know the industry. The salon is clean, the tools are clean and the nail techs are awesome.

Tommy was the best! I’m so impressed with how well he runs this place. Answers phones on his ear piece, schedules appointments, rings people up quickly. Not once was I sitting there annoyed that he had to tend to other people because he was either talking on the phone while doing my nails, or ringing people up took 2 seconds. AND my acrylic coffin nails were done quickly and looked absolutely perfect. I got a pretty blue with ombré glitter for $70 after tip. They never lifted anywhere on my natural nails, but after 2 months of having them on, I decided it was time to stop being ratchet and remove them because they were never going to lift so that I could pop them off. My mom got her dip powder ombré nails done by another gentleman (I forgot his name), he is super nice and friendly, too. He was telling her how he just started doing nails a couple months prior to our visit in March 2021. Unfortunately, my mom’s nails started lifting 2 weeks after she got them done and didn’t hold up the way mine did from Tommy’s. I live in CA, but I will definitely go back to Tommy every time I’m back in Arizona. I’m looking forward to getting a pedicure sometime soon!

Both my husband and I get our pedicures here. We really like the people there and haven’t had a bad experience in the several years of going here. They always find time to get us in even though we always just walk-in.

Bryan is my go-to guy for my SNS dip!!! I usually stick with boring, plain, dark colors and wont stray away from blacks and greys. He is holding me accountable to start doing brighter and better colors and venturing out of my comfort zone :) Bryan is quick, efficient, does an amazing job at what he does!This salon is always clean, welcoming, and I am so glad I live near there! Even if I didnt I would likely still be commuting to this place for my nails!

Tommy is always my favorite. He adds his own spice to design! and always does a perfect mani. Especially since these are my natural nails just using sns dip powder to help build strength to my nails so I can achieve the length I want.

I’ve been to Five Star Nails numerous times now. The shop is clean and comfortable. Not too big and not too small. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I get gel manicures and I like to do fun designs sometimes, especially at the holidays. Everyone does a great job and is willing to do whatever design I show them. They are great about trimming my cuticles where other places I left and went home to do more on my own. Tommy the owner runs the shop efficiently and professionally and does great nails too!! I’ve only been in the Phoenix area a year and a half and tried a few other salons in Scottsdale near my work, but none were as good as Five Star and they were way more expensive!

I got mani - pedi. Great work on both. I am very happy with the work the ladies did.The only issue I have is it is very hard to understand some of the staff. Maybe they need to have diagrams to show what they are asking and what you want to say to them.

Tommy runs a great Nail salon. Hires really good nail techs, I always know that I will get someone who will do a good job. Today I did french on my toes and on my nails (dip). They did both at the same time which I love because then I’m not there as long. Enjoyed foot scrub WITH foot/leg massage, very relaxing. Both turned out so well - thank you, Five Star! The staff at Five Star are always very kind and professional. My daughter and I have been going here since they opened and my mom joins us when she visits. Best gel manicures that last and pedicures are always nice and relaxing. The shop is very clean and tidy. This is the only nail shop I go to!

This nail salon is hands down the best nail salon I have ever been to. The employees are always friendly, accommodating and do amazing work. I have never not been satisfied with my nails. Not only do my nails come out phenomenal every time but the prices are the icing on the cake! I couldn’t say better things about this place. If you have yet to give it a try I urge you to put their service to the test. It’s not often I get to have my nails done due to how much I work but this place makes it easy to come back every time.

Tommy is absolutely the best nail tech Ive had in the past 15 years of having my nails done. He does an outstanding job with my acrylic pink and white French nails. They are done to perfection and he makes sure Im satisfied with the job hes done. The place is very clean and the nail techs are all very professional. I highly recommend Tommy @ 5 star nails.

These guys are spot on! The music is awesome, the place is cute, and clean. They have these fitted covers for the foot tubs that they throw away after every use... SO MUCH NICER THAN PLASTIC BAGS! and my nails look awesome.

This place is AMAZING. I just moved to Arizona and this was the first place I tried. I couldn’t be more impressed. I know how to do my own acrylics but I’ve been so busy I decided to just get them done this time, and the man who did my nails was so nice, even gave me a few pointers on how to better my nail techniques. Super awesome first time experience with a pedicure as well. Overall awesome place and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Lily did my pedi and Bryan did my nails. Both did a fantastic job! The music playing was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Just what a girl was looking for. Been coming here for years, always professional and relaxing. I love that the TV is not blasting like in other salons. Mindy did my brows today, first time for waxing. My browser are very difficult to shape and Mindy did them PERFECTLY!

I had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back. I got a coconut pedicure, it was about an hour, and just amazing. The lady did such a good job, she really took her time. The chairs were very nice and comfortable i liked that they werent just shaking my upper body aggressively like the ones at other places. The salon was very clean and relaxing.
