I’m the disappointed sister of Miriam Powell. Everything she said is true, she just didn’t have my pics to post but I do! As she stated, we were on vacation. Needless to say I was super embarrassed, one because nothing like this as ever happened to me before! My nail polish started peeling off the first day of my vacation! Initially my first visit was good. Angela did my nails and I thought this place had a client forever, not to mention I tip well. I will post those pics also just to show the reason I went back, but to my dismay oh boy I was super mad!!! Now my experience at the salon the second time, I don’t know the guys name who did my nails but I believe he sits on the end of seat four or five on the right side from the door entrance. I kept telling him that the polish was thin, he proceeded to say that he applied 3 coats of the dip powder! If he did, it proves the cheap powder that they use!!!!! My pics will follow and tell the story! The first set is what Angela did, of which I was pleased, and others wanted to come just on the strength of that, until they saw the next set. I have more showing all polish being all the way off before my vacation was over. I will find them and post them! This should be more than enough!

I heard about this place from some very dear friends who frequent this nail salon. I admired her nails and decided to try them out. Before going, I read the reviews, most of which were negative. Since my sister had gone the day before and was pleased I decided to forego the reviews and make my own determination. The 1st experience was not bad. I believe the woman’s name was Cynthia. My dip nails lasted for a couple of weeks during which I still received compliments. The only thing I didn’t like is they don’t have a policy for customers to wash their hands prior to receiving services.The 2nd time was 2 weeks ago, the day before my vacation. I went for a dip mani and regular pedi. Daniel was the nail guy/girl. From the onset, his attitude was unprofessional. During the pedicure he tried to cut my toenail with some tool other than a nail clipper as if he was trying to rip it off. I don’t know what his problem was. When he was through with my dip mani it was so sloppily done with residue all around my fingers etc. I complained to the manager as well as Daniel because of the residue and spots on my nail that looked matte/rough from the powder. He then put a top base on it and angrily sent me on my way. Needless to say he did not receive a tip. A day later, the top layer of my nails started peeling and it went downhill from there. I took pics and will post them following this review. My sister, who accompanied me the sAme day had a very bad experience as well. Before our vacation was over ALL of her dip nails were off and we were only there for 5 days/ 4 nights. They will never get another red cent from me EVER. Either of us. Use caution if u decide to go despite the reviews like I did.

They did an awesome job getting me and my bridal party wedding ready. Definitely worth every cent!

Literally waited two hours for a simple manicure and pedicure. One of the staff stated that he’s not comfortable with doing men! Like seriously? Grow tf up

They are updated on all the latest polish with so many to choose, fully staffed, clean. I love the fact they take Apple pay, also the nail tech Cynthia is very professional and good at her work, never disappointed with her work.

Chloe the receptionist is super nice. Even though they were no longer taking clients she was able to get me in to get my eyebrows done. As soon as I was done Lynn heard that I wanted to get a Medi pedi. She was able to do my nails and have someone do my feet. I appreciate their service especially during closing time.

Love, love, loveeeee getting my nails done here. I request Cynthia every time & she does an amazing job. The wait can be lengthy depending on what time you go but it’s worth it. Satisfied customer.

The lady who did my feet literally missed my entire pinky toe and she messed up my eyebrows. They did fix my eyebrows but they didn’t offer anything after missing my toe which I thought I received some money back because that’s a huge mistake especially because I told them my bday is coming up & I had 2 problems with them. I didn’t even go back to them to fix it. This was so frustrating

My friend and I also both had experience being hurt while cleaning the nails. Their service isn’t professional compare to other stores. But in general ok if you’re looking for regular acrylic paint

I got dip over tips done here last Wednesday. I signed in and left to get groceries like I usually do since the wait is always pretty long, but this day I signed in at 3:30 and didnt leave until 7:30... The first 3 pics are of the first set I got... the girl who did them said I could come back and get them fixed so I came back Friday and the same girl redid my nails. They came out a little better but they are still extremely uneven/bumpy (last pic). I wanted to talk to the owner about possibly getting a refund bc I was still not happy with them but didnt want to get them redone AGAIN since I had already spent about 6 hours there in total, but he was not there that day or the next two days that I went back so I just gave up on that lol.Just wanted to put this here because you REALLY need to be careful who you go to at this place because there are only a few nail techs that actually know what theyre doing. (this is the second bad set Ive gotten here). You can request who you want you just may have to wait longer but I recommend doing that. Only giving two stars because they do have good prices and the location is very convenient for me.

Chloe is such an amazing receptionist she is so sweet and know how to handle business. I came in late but she was able to get me a spot so I could paint my nails. The staff there is also amazing. Every single one of them are super sweet and will get down to business ASAP! Amazing Visit to nail imagine I wish I could it more than a five.

I enjoyed my time at Image Nails as they were polite, timely, and clean. They took extra time to make sure everything was to my liking, so customer service was A1. If anyone is looking for a tech, ask for Sandy she ocd detailed and fun to chat with. She did my nails (mani and pedi) about 3 weeks ago and they still look good. Maybe too good, she may not see me for awhile. The staff here also works very hard and you can tell they enjoy working together. Great experience overall!

I’ve been a patron of the salon since they opened a couple of years ago. They’re clean, fast, and they have an endless array of options.More recently, I’m disappointed in what seems to be an arbitrary pricing structure. Yesterday, I walked in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The technician initially told me that there was a $45 special for the two services. She fixed two of my toenails for $1 a piece. After the service was complete, my bill totaled $66. When I arrived at the register and opted to pay using a card, my bill jumped to $83 dollars.$83 dollars for a gel manicure (no tips or acrylic) and a regular pedicure with acrylic on two toes.I’ve paid less for a lot more, and at this exact salon.

They have a $45 “special” for gel mani and pedicure. When you sit down the woman will ask if you want gel on your toes, if you don’t want to pay an extra $10 say NO!!!! I paid by apple pay and got charged for that too. It came to $61 instead of $45; $45 for special, $10 for the gel on my toes then $6 to use debit. I would have rather that extra money to be her tip cause she didn’t do a bad job but damn. That turned me off. If it doesn’t say GEL mani and GEL pedi on a special prepare for them to scheme.

Charge too much money for every little thing, they want money to pay a light bill ! This is crazy ! Never going back !!!!!!

While getting my nails done I had to ask her to fix the shape because she was going to leave them uneven but to be honest the shape is still trash. Originally I wanted five different colors and she said the price was $58. So I told them that just one color was fine if it was a problem for me to have several colors. (Because she had an attitude about it) Once she was done she still said $58 because they were charging me extra for the shape, the length, and the matte when originally she told me that it was that price because I wanted five different colors. I personally will NEVER be returning to this business. the prices Are inconsistent and does not equal the Quality!! Never again! My nails arent even the same length!

Nice friendly environment. But the older lady technician on the end is not so good on nails, but shes nice.. just dont do well on nails. 2 times she did my nails and each time I was not so pleased. ☹️ Ill stick with the young ladies or the guys.

So this was my very first visit and I left thoroughly satisfied. They corrected old, thick acrylic on my nails and next time Ill simply have it all removed so I can get an American manicure. I was frequenting City Nails at 15th and JFK and usually ended up with sore cuticles and 3 weeks ago my thumb cuticle was cut and bled. The week that followed was me taking care of it becoming infected. Nevertheless, Ill return here at Progress Plaza in 2 weeks and let you know my thoughts! Oh a plus is that you electronically sign in so no wonderment as to who is next!

Let’s talk about how they shine when it comes to individualism. options, options, and more options, one time use disposable kits, and multiple options for your pedicure, 3 days later my feet still have the same silk feel as when she finished. I went in on a Sunday and it was kind of crowded. Sat down for my pedicure, the water wasn’t hot, she didn’t let my feet soak, my feet were still hard at the back, had to go home and fix, also had gel and acrylic nails done. Omg the shape is not what I asked for. The stones are crooked. Spent over 100 dollars for nothing. Very very dissatisfied and disappointed

1 star is too many for this salon! I simply got my nails polished which was fine. My issue is that I overheard the lady owner making racist comments about the same community that shes supposedly serving. Its okay to take our money yet the respect and decency we deserve as a human being, you cant provide. Also this place lacks diversity! Ill never step foot in there again and neither should you!

Great first visit

I had an AMAZING experience. The shop is very clean and the new renovations allow for more chairs. All workers are very attentive and handle all the customers with care! SANDY IS ONE OF A KIND!! I will never get my nails done anywhere else or with anyone else.

Great quality comfort understand and reasonable for some people just dont clearly understand when you expressing words thats all other than this thats a good place I would go again unfortunately you find something thats tired some nights and theyre not doing exactly like they treated you the previous time thats to be expected

Couldnt get exactly what I want because I dont use GEL polish.

I got a full set with gel polish here about a month ago. The guy did a good job but had to be directed on how to do my nails the way nails are supposed to be done. He had to be told to make sure they’re all even, cleaned under the tips and shaped right. They turned out just the way I like and the prices are reasonable. They’ve lasted without chipping or anything. I’ll definitely go back.

I love my nail tech Kathy and the environment here. They aren’t afraid to try new things and be innovative. I feel comfortable when I go here.

My first time here and I will never go back. Cindy did an awful job on my nails. She didnt even get all the blue polish off my nails and her paint job was sloppy. I am very particular about my nails and this was awful. So I can still see some of the blue from my previous polish. I made sure to let them know before I left but I will just stick to my place back in Jersey from now on.Update: Too of my nails had broke after only a couple hours, but I called and spoke to Ivy who told me to come in and I went in today and someone else fixed both nails and redid my polish as well as fixed my nails to file them evenly. I didnt get his name, but he was polite and did a way better job then Cindy. I appreciate their professionalism and their willingness to not charge me and fix my nails after a first bad experience.Update: After they fixed the 2 broke nails, 3 more broke and I had to pay another salon to just take them off and get a whole new full set. The other salon even said how horrible of a job they did on my nails.

Got simple gel polish but it came out thin in some areas. Went back inside to have it fixed and got nothing but attitude. The nails that needed to be fixed ended up more opaque than the rest. I wanted to go back again and have the rest fixed but I dont want to deal with sarcasm for a service I wanted. All for 20 bucks.Edit!I did actually go back and the woman who originally did my nails redid it free of charge. I am very satisfied with her, not so much the other woman who tried to fix it. I am glad they reached out but Im sorry I didnt update my post.

Despite many bad reviews, I figured Id try them out for myself. Im so happy I did! The staff are SO friendly and very attentive. I felt very welcomed and listened to. The nail techs pay attention to detail. Im very happy with my fill in and eyebrow waxing. Great prices, too!

I would give 0 if I could. I did a gel manicure and it lasted 3 days!!!!!!! the day after the manicure the surface layer started to come off!I went to complain, showing that the gel could be removed easily, as it was a peel-off nail polish.they said they couldnt do anything for me, neither fixing, and that if I wanted another manicure I had to pay!I will never go back!!!!!worst manicure of my life and $24 wasted!

The receptionists here are great! They turned a very bad experience into a good one. I had a very rushed manicure and pedicure, the the wonderful attitude of the girls up front made the experience 100% better.

I will never come back to this place again. The service is terrible! The professionalism is terrible! please go to another nail salon. Deserve less than 1 star. My nails came out horrible. When I spoke to the manager she was very rude and defensive instead of trying to fix my nails.

My nails were done by Jo tonight! I cane in with my nails looking all crazy and a broken one. Did the dip and she managed to make my fingers look awesome! She’s great at dio and she keeps me entertained. Thanks Jo!!

They try to force you to get a service they want you to get and when you dont to they tell you everything you want they dont have. Because I didnt want gel polish or dip every color I chose I was told they didnt have it in regular polish.They force you to use cash or theyll charge you $3 per each service to use your debit card. So a mani and pedi is $6 to charge on your debit card.They dont listen to what you want and they have poor customer service.

They were very friendly engaged in conversation and fulfilled all my requests.

Inconsistent prices. They make up prices as they go and charge you extra for silly things.

The service is BOMB!! I can get away with 3 weeks of I need to and they dont lift or break!! Tons of choices and services to choose from!! They have a design bar in the back!! Very trendy classy and professional. For me to say this about a nail salon is huge!!!

This is the only place i go. I love the atmosphere and Thai is my favorite tech. Been going since the grand opening back in October. Reasonable prices and always new and trendy polishes and designs. Best in the area hands down.

My nails looked great when they first got done but it’s only been 6 days and my gel polish is already chipping off my nails. They should last two weeks!! The woman also cut me pretty badly twice. Wish they would last longer

I went here last Wednesday (it is now the following Monday) I got a regular pedi and a gel full set. I showed the guy the design I wanted and he said he could do it. He knew I wanted regular polish but talked me into gel for that specific design and said he could do it cheaper if he airbrushes on the tip with paint (didn’t know it was paint at the moment but I was down to try anything) instead of regular polish. Once he was finished, I absolutely loved the design. However, my nails started chipping on Friday. So I will go back because its good service and good work but I will not get the airbrushed paint anymore and encourage you not to either if you want your nails to last. The pedicure was really good.the regular pedi was $23 and my nails were $38 for fill in, gel, and design which is good.

It’s ok, Not what I’ve expected. They lack in a few things to thrive. The lady was sweet and cute but I don’t think I’ll return. The atmosphere is nice,besides the name calling towards partners...but it made me laugh.Something I’ll suggest is working massage chairs and or good massages. The location is Convenient. The hours are perfect. They have specials on Mon, Tues & Wed & for Ca$h payors, you can save a few bucks. The offer a plethora of services. I have gone 3Xs, I got a gel mani & pedicure. The massage chairs are not that cozy & the shop is a lil drafty in tegatds tp winter pedicures, next time, Ill bring my flask.

I literally just walked in this nail salon at 5:25pm on the dot. With no “hello” “hi” “I’m sorry” and was told we’re not taking any more customers we still have people waiting. Although on you’re website it states that you don’t close until 6:30. That doesn’t mean you stop taking customers at 5:25. I’m here already before you’re closing time. That didn’t sit well with me. Soooooo I won’t be returning!

I went Monday morning with my mom and a gentleman by the name I believe of Ian was very polite. He did my pedi and really took his time to do my nails. This is a very clean and comfortable atmosphere I find myself a nail salon that I will continue to come back to...👌🏾

I wanted to try this nail salon because of the great reviews on Google. But apparently I was wrong. I signed in at 6:21. The assistant was extremely friendly, I sat down and I waited for over 30 minutes. But while I was sitting there not one person in the nail salon acknowledged me aside from the assistant. As I’m sitting there, another young lady walks in without signing in and sits down to begins getting her nails done. I’m not sure if you had an appointment or not, but I highly doubt it. She appears to be very familiar with the people who work there so that was the first thing that irritated me. The second thing that irritated me, was the fact that a gentleman who I believe was the owner just completed doing someone’s nails made eye contact with me, did not smile at me did not greet me did not ask me what I was getting done. That’s a dealbreaker, because these companies make so much money off of our community and you would think they would show us a lot more respect. So after waiting over 30 minutes I got up and walked out. Clearly they couldn’t care less about customer service or about my money and that’s why they aren’t getting any. Not to mention after telling my friend where I was going to she told me that her mother got foot fungus from there. So that’s a dub.

It was an horrible experience i even tipped her Jennifer $3.00 and they charged me $10.00 for my eyebrows on 11/3/2020 here is my Photo very sad POOR RATING

Very clean establishment, very welcoming staff. However, they dont accept appointment requests. So, I waited for almost 2 hours on a Thursday at 2:00pm. My technician did a great job removing my dip powder acrylics! However, the shape of my nails is inconsistent and the application of the dip powder is only passable. It started chipping within 4 days. I would return there since its close to home, but would go elsewhere for an occasion or a long-lasting application.

I’ve been here a couple times out of convenience and every time it’s awful and overpriced. I never get the nail shape I want because the techs are not able to do it or my nails look sloppy and lumpy. Recently I went there to fix three nails, I was overcharged for that, and two days later two of the nails they fixed for me broke. I would rather walk around with broken nails than keep going here.

It hasn’t even been 2 weeks and they look old and ugly already!!! This was my second time going and both times I had to just take them off because they were chipped and nails kept breaking off. I never try to write bad reviews but I went back and they fixed my nail just for another one to break.Then made it seem like I was bothering them.If I’m paying for gel...Why is it chipping after 2 days ? I get my nails done faithfully and I get gel everytime.I never have this problem at my regular salon and they charge way less! I don’t mind paying for good quality work but don’t charge me up if your product is cheap and won’t even last.

I’ve gotten nail salon services here before and have been satisfied with them. However I went this evening and it was packed which is fine because they still decided to accommodate but I was rushed. My pedicure isn’t squared off and my polish doesn’t look thick. When it came to my nails the color I picked out is completely different than the color currently on hands. I actually really dislike my nails I asked my nail tech about the color and I was told it changes as the layers are added. To be respectful of the time I didn’t ask him to redo my nails but I am unhappy with my service. The owner is really nice I don’t have a problem with him but I am overall unsatisfied with my nails. . . to add on after analyzing my pedicure my toe isn’t theroughly painted and already chipped when it’s only been 45 minutes since done.

Great place only salon where they give you a hand massage and hot towels ! Part of the process when you get your nails done in a good salon. This place is my only go to place now that I found them.

I was a new customer and was turned away after calling in advance for a pedicure because staff did not want to take a 7:30pm pedicure when they close at 9pm. Will never attempt to visit this place again.

Business hours states 10am M-F... All employees plus Manager was late, then gave us paying customers lip and attitude because we as customers were voicing our concerns!!! Then the manager Thai had so many excuses on why he and other employess were late!!! Its very unprofessional to argue and to be rude to customers! This nailery better get this place in check... Because if this continues to happen... They will not be there long!!! I guarantee it!!!! I Refuse to spend my hard earned money in this establishment! And several others left as well!!!

The prices are great/ the deals but the lady that did my nails, Tracey, she used a nail buffer and buffed down my nails/ made them brittle/ weak. I had gel nail polish on and my nails all broke down the center and it was really painful. This happened during the monday-tuesday-wednesday deal

This place is absolutely awful. They are nice, but they take forever and do a terrible job. I was there for two hours one day and all they had managed to do was take my nails off. I was supposed to be getting a full set pink and white, but had to leave and come back the next day for them to actually start the acrylic. So 4 hours and $60 later the nails were awful and only lasted half the time they normally do. Waste if time and money! Go literally anywhere else

Within 36 hours of having acrylics put on they started to unglue and peel off of my nailbed, my nails were not filed to fit my nail shape and the nails are uneven. im really disappointed and out of $50 now.
