Idk, the other reviews were good, so I may give them another try& just make sure I get a different tech.

The women here are amazing people and talented artists. My hands and feet have been thoroughly tested through years of bartending and now nursing so I’m absolutely no easy task. I get compliments at both work and out and the powder dip lasts through the endless hand sanitizing and washing. Cherry on top, they won’t break your bank.

This is my first time trying this salon and it was such an uncomfortable experience. I’m surprised their rating is so high. I came here with my boyfriend and when we walked in everyone just stared at us like deer in headlights. It seemed like we were unwelcome. They had my feet sitting in water for 30-45 mins before someone came over to give me a pedicure. It seems like they can do very basic things like french and simple one color things, very boring. It looks like a lot of older people in the area come here. Was not offered a complimentary drink or even water like the other customers in the salon. Will never come here again.

I am finding out the service depends on the technician. The last time I went I left feeling great. My pedi was perfect the the girl doing it was exceptional. She took her time and massaged my legs and my feet were never smoother and they stayed that way for weeks.Yesterday was a different story. I had an appointment but still waited over a half hour before they started. I felt rushed and the girl was not interested at all in giving good service. Because I waited so long I was running late for a dinner and my mani was not completely dry. I know this is partially my fault for not waiting but if I was taken on time this wouldnt have happen. Needless to say my nails are a mess for a wedding I am attending tomorrow.

I got a manicure, and it was very nice; I will return. But I did a regular manicure (not gel) and it ws $35 not $20 as it says on their website. They just need to update their site with pricing.

I saw Tina, who was amazing ! She Gave me exactly what I wanted and was so sweet !The space is beautiful and clean and everyone was so lovely ! They were on time, served wine, and were so friendly start to finish… including when booking the appointment :0) definitely go here !

Very clean nail salon but the workmanship was very shoddy, I appreciate the effort but as a new customer I would expect better. Nails not squared out and the gel was overly thick. On top of it, the gel was very messy as it’s all over the side of my nails on nearly every finger. For the price, not worth it & I will not be returning as a customer.

I was looking for a new salon and decided to check them out! So happy I did, took their time on my gel manicure and found the perfect shade of blue I was looking for. Ill definitely be back, they also offered a complimentary glass of wine and back massage 😃

I’ve had ok experiences here but feel like it would be a waste of money to go back. They were rushing me when I arrived and wouldn’t let me take a minute to look at all the colors and choose. Then they didn’t have the color I picked, I asked for some simple nail art and everyone seemed really uncomfortable with the request. My pedicure was done first and nails second but the pedicure still completely smudged from putting my shoes back on at the end. I feel like they use old polishes that are expired and don’t set well anymore. The massage part when you are getting your nails done is nice but not worth it overall.

Not worth your time and money!!!! Absolutely the worst manicure in my life! Not only it is expensive but the quality of the manicure is very questionable. My 3 year old daughter would do it much better! I have never reviewed a nail salon or any beauty salon for that matter but I just couldnt let it go. A regular manicure + gel removal was $25 (my regular place around the corner would charge me $14 for this exact same service with a professional outcome!) My nails look absolutely terrible! I wish I have never stepped into that place. Im wondering where all these 5 stars are coming from.

I love this place. I got my nails done with gel and they are still beautifully intact THREE WEEKS later. Literally the only reason I need to get them done again is because my nails grew. Friendly and kind staff. Slightly more expensive, but only slightly. And its worth it for how well they treat you and the quality of service. I will be coming back! (P.s. Get the cats eye! Its super cool)

The one thing I look for when visiting a nail salon is their mannerism and professionalism, this place truly has it. The women are very nice and quiet which is why I come there. It’s a little small but cozy and quiet 🙂 which is what you want out of a spa-salon the chance to be pampered and relaxed. I give it a great big thumbs up 👍🏽

Love this place! The girls here are always so warm and accommodating and you rarely have to wait to be seen. They offer wine and coffee which is a big plus, especially nowadays. One of the best nail bars in the city. They take such good care of your nails and all their equipment is very clean. I got a matte finish on my gel manicure this time around. Theyre also very good at designs.

I was having an awful day and called the nail salon around 3 (2 hours before they close) to see if there was any possible way I could get in to get my nails done, they were extremely friendly and professional and squeezed me right in. When I got there, their COVID-19 protocols were great, and I felt that it was very safe and clean. To top it off, my nail artist Alyssa was so sweet and listened to me babble on about my day, when I asked her if a lot of people do that she replied “some do and that’s good because sometimes people just need one person to listen to them, that’s important” we had a lovely conversation and she spent so much time making sure I was happy with the outcome of my nails. The personable nature of the employees at this salon is unmatched. My nails are beautiful and exactly what I asked for. I will DEFINITELY be coming back again, loved this place!

I hated my experience here. I wanted to try a new place and this place had good reviews.. One worker was eyeing me the entire time i was there. We really felt as we didnt belong. The workers made us feel very uncomfortable. And im not the only one who feels like this.

My nails and skin look so much better I have eczema and dry skin but the girl worked her magic lol highly recommend the organic spa specials😍

This is my favorite nail salon in the city. they make every effort to keep waiting time to a minimum. Ive rarely waited longer than a few minutes. the services are great and the salon is very clean. Ive been there when they open and everyone is cleaning all of the surfaces and the floor. highly recommend!

I love this salon! This is a family owned salon, operated by the sweetest most professional people. I got my nails and waxing done here every two weeks. They made me feel like part of their family! I had to move away from Philadelphia and I miss this salon so much. My nails were always done well and if I had any concerns or needed a fix they would fix it ASAP. Their customer service is impossible to beat. The staff greets you and will provide a complimentary glass of wine, water or coffee during your service. My gel nails always lasted at least 2 weeks and my pedicure would have lasted even longer. I cant recommend this place enough, its awesome. After moving, Im sure it will be difficult to find another salon quite like this!

Excellent service. They take their time and care to make sure everything is perfect with your nails. I went to another salon in Fishtown a few weeks ago and it was very meh - they rushed through it, I had to ask them to fix some nails that weren’t left smooth, and my polish was see-through in areas. Tried this place out for the first time a few days ago(not even a whole week) I loved the staff they were very friendly. Pedicure was amazing but the gel color on my nails looks TERRIBLE right now. It was very nice when it first got done but for it to only be 6 days later they look horrible. Polish seems cheap.

Before I discovered this gem, I was driving all the way to South Philly to get my nails done as I am extremely picky about my nails. Allyssa and her team at Fishtown Nails Bar Cafe are incredibly detail oriented, not to mention friendly and accommodating. I go religiously, every two weeks, and recommend it to everyone. My nails come out perfect every single time!

This place is my new go to for my nails! They were able to take me in at very short notice and fix my horrible nails that were so grown out and desperately needed some TLC. Alyssa and Tiffany worked together to do my nails in a very short time frame and my nails have never looked better! I was offered a beverage and the salon itself was so relaxing and beautiful. Jen gave me a wonderful massage while my nails dried. Very affordable considering the disaster they had to fix in a short time frame. I was out in an hour! It was the best experience I’ve had. By far the best nail salon. Very clean and pay close attention to detail. The only salon that has used the gloves when you use the gel setter. They give free massages while your polish dries and they have a rewards program.

Im a traveling tattooer, and I make it a point to get my nails done before I begin any new guest spot. Seeing as Philly is my hometown, I went off local recommendations instead of online review numbers, and Im so glad I did! This place is so nice, the view is a very pleasant little wooded area that runs behind a beautiful wall mural across the street. The music was upbeat, but without being more than background. Most importantly, they did a phenomenal job on my hands! For $15 ($25, after a well-earned tip) I got trimmed, filed, treated, polished, sealed, and massaged. Whenever Im back in town again, you can bet Ill stop here, first thing.

UPDATE: I am sorry to say but I don’t think I will be returning after how I was treated today. I came in around 12:25 as a walk in and was informed that they had appointments at 12:30. I said I didn’t mind waiting. So they proceeded to remove the gel from my nails. 12:45 rolled around and the appointment hadn’t arrived. 5 minutes later the appointment walked in and apologized for being late, and one of them was serviced immediately. All they did for me at this point was take off my gel polish. After about an hour of waiting I decided it was time to go. It would have been nice if they would have told me it would be over an hour when I first got there so I could have at least left and come back. I also think it’s bad business to leave a walk in waiting for an appointment who was negligent and didn’t arrive on time. While I completely understand how busy you were and there isn’t much you can do to speed up the wait time, I think you guys need to work on your communication and let people know the approximate wait time when they agree to wait if it’s going to be over an hour. What also has me miffed is the fact that I’ve been a loyal customer all summer, I’ve even sent friends over and I was still charged $10 for the removal of gel on my nails (which took over half an hour to do)It would have really made me feel appreciated if you guys would have waived that for me since I’ve been loyal. Especially considering nobody really gave me their full attention today.This is still a good nail salon regardless. They are clean and they use good products and I would still recommend to friends to come here during the week when they aren’t as busy. The main issue was the lack of communication. Also while I don’t feel entitled to free services, (Hence why I didn’t just up and walk out. I actually told them I had to go and asked how much I owed for the gel removal) I do feel they should have given a loyal customer a pass just for today.
