We just placed our 2nd child with Temple Nest and couldn’t be happier. The owners are professional and responsive. The apartments are roomy and clean. Location 1 block west of campus and in the Temple Patrol Zone is a huge plus. The subway 1 less than 2 blocks away. Buildings are only about 10 years old and are maintained well. There is a security system available for an additional fee. Parking can be a challenge, but with the availability of public transportation you don’t need one. Highly recommend!
I attended Temple University for grad school and lived at Temple Nest for a year. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for off campus housing. Safety was a huge concern of mine so I wanted an apartment that was in a safe location and where I felt comfortable when I go to bed every night and I definitely felt that way living here. I am from Texas and did not bring my car but it was no problem as the Fresh Grocer, Dunkin Donuts, 7-11, train/bus station, and campus were minutes away by walking.Additionally, these apartments are way more affordable than whats nearby. You would think that if its so much cheaper than there must be something wrong with them, right? WRONG. Every appliance worked perfectly, there were never any maintenance issues, and safety was never compromised. They also dont try and scam you and keep your security deposit like other apartments, as long as you leave your room in good condition. Overall, as someone who moved here for just one year, I was very pleased with these apartments and would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable housing. (And its furnished)!
Unfortunately due to my father passing in the line of duty in July, I wasnt gonna be able to live down at the apartment that I signed a lease for the year 2021-2022. I contacted the staff and they were very understanding of the situation, and agreed to terminate the lease. The staff also sent an edible arrangement for my loss, which was more than we could have asked for. Temple Nest has eliminated the stress that would come along with paying the bills at my home, while paying for an apartment. They did more than I could have asked for, and would recommend them for anyone staying at Temple.
If youre Black DONT LIVE HERE!!!! If I could leave less than one star I could. I am disappointed with how the Owner Donna interacts with residents of color. I have been a loyal resident of Temple Nest Apartments for 3 consecutive years while earning my Bachelors degree from Temple University. I could write countless reviews about the horrible rat infestation or the poorly made AC units that break when you change the temperature but that would be petty. I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment on 15th street and paid rent on time (early in fact) for 3 years. Caused NO problems for 3 years only to be met with hostility and micro-aggression when it was time to turn my keys in. I had to walk out of the office mid altercation because the disrespect Donna Citro was spewing was too much. If basic respect is something you value then I would look to live elsewhere.
You cant trust them. They sent an email out that said if temple went online for the fall semester we wouldnt be responsible for rent. Temple announced they were going to be online and nest apartments refused to honor what they previously said. I would not recommend signing a lease here, theyre kind of shady.
Did not end up signing up to live here for next year because of uncertainty about next year and covid but the temple nest staff was extremely helpful in trying to find my son and his friend a spot. We showed up without an appintment and they were able to show us an apartment same day.Staff and manager was honest with us about everything, will be reaching out next year !
I lived over there for an year. Overall speaking, the staffs at Temple Nest are friendly and relatively responsive compare to other management company. The landlord is nice and friendly, whenever we encountered issue at the apartment they were responsive and really helpful. In general, friendly staffs, responsive repair speed, and good living quality.
Awful place to live. The management couldnt care less about you, they just care about the money. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT sign a lease here
Horrible. I havent got my security deposit back. Zero reply after I sent a letter asking to forward my deposit. They werent responsive in general when I lived there.
As advertised!
